Hey guys, My best friend and I are currently living in Gilmore and we are hoping to find another female in their mid to late 20’s to join our home. We have one room available. It is a smaller room with a built in wardrobe (probably won’t fit a queen bed but may fit a double). At the moment it has a single bed in there that can be utilized if wanted. The house is big and spacious and is fully furnished. We have a massive backyard and a 6 burner gas stove which is great for shared cooking. My best friend and I are two females in our mid 20’s who keep very busy, love being active, are very tidy and enjoy being social. We also have two dogs living with us who are very friendly and well behaved, Beau the Siberian Husky and Max the Labrador. Our house is close to Chisholm shops, 10 mins to Tuggeranong and 20 mins to the city. $150 per week plus quarterly bills and internet. Please message me if you’re interested. The room is available now.
Situated on a quiet street, this big 4 bedroom house is a great place to unwind after work. a Large patio, formal dining area and furnished bedroom awaits you. Central gas heating keeps the winter chill away and plenty of storage space is available with a detached second garage on the property. If you think this is for you, give us a call or a text. Please note, no couples or families for the single room on offer.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
Hi there My name is Elyssa. My boyfriend and I are looking for a room. We are both young and looking to start out on our own. We are quiet, neat and tidy and easy going people. 🙂 My Boyfriend and I are currently seeking apprenticeships and this location is an ideal location for us. Please let us know when we can inspect the room. Thank you Elyssa
The house is a little run down but has the basic essentials. Cheap rent and no locked in contract so you can stay as little or as long as you like. Close proximity to CBD, train station, airport, Canberra city, Canberra Outlet Centre, etc. Enjoy country living with city benefits.
We live in a really nice, tidy and furnished townhouse with central ducted heating, an awesome kitchen, and plenty of street parking. You will have a wonderful room that is unfurnished (you'll need to supply your own bed) but there is a wardrobe and some small tables available to put your things on. Your room is next to a shared bathroom between yourself and 2 housemates. Perks: Central heating, awesome NBN, and netflix.... And of course some great housemates! We are looking for someone reliable and stable over short to long term. Come check out the space and see if it suits you. We'd love to meet you!
On a gorgeous peaceful street sits this top hill side home with views over Queanbeyan. Property backs straight onto Bicentennial Park, making perfect for those morning and evening walks. This comfortable and inviting 3 bedroom home has 2 generous sized rooms with built in wardrobes for rent. With 1 Bathroom, 2 toilets, 2 living spaces, large courtyard and back yard, there is plenty of space to share. There are 2 large sheds which can be used for storage etc if required as well. We are just 15 minute drive from the City, Woden and Tuggeranong making it extremely central and only a 15min walk or 2 minute drive from the centre of Queanbeyan's cafes and shops. A little about me, Im a Health coach/ Personal Trainer. I'm 32. I am honest, considerate, clean and organised. I live and healthy and active lifestyle. Its really important to me that my living environment is happy and positive so definitely wanting to enjoy the company of my house mates. I have 2 large male Malamute dogs, Ive never met anyone who doesn't fall in love with them, so if you like dogs I'm sure you will too. We have NBN internet, ducted heating and electric cooking appliances. One room can be furnished with queen bed if you require. There is a double automatic garage, however it is currently being used, but there is off street parking. Bills to be split equally.
I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
Clean and bright house with edible garden. It is set back off the street and is quiet 7 mins walk to shops and 100m from the bus stop. Has unlimited internet, never-ending hot water, gass heating and cooking. Large washing machine and dryer(and outdoor lines), dishwasher, shed storage. There are two super friendly cats living here. All bills are included in the price and weekly cleaner. House is fully furnished but not the bedroom up for rent. The bedroom has BIR and can fit a queen bed + side tables or TV stand.
Hi, I will have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard; etc) for one person that is AVAILABLE from 25 AUGUST...or sooner. Because I have short-term open-ended stays, sometimes the room becomes available before the listed available date. More furniture can't be brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. I am really happy to have short-term shares i.e. you might be looking for somewhere more suitable that will take your furniture but you need to move out of where you are staying. For short-term stays add another $15 a week to the weekly rent. For longer stays, we may have to work out the shared gas, electricity and water bills or just increase the weekly amount. The house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is on-street parking which is well lit and is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute (or 25 minutes with a heavy backpack!) walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. If you are staying longer than a few weeks, you've got to be willing to do your bit in the garden - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do your bit. However, it should never get to that because between two it is less than onerous. Garden tasks are mostly sweeping the paths, deck, driveway and raking eucalyptus bark and leaves (once every few weeks) and occasional mowing and cutting back hideously invasive ivy. Do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful but aren't essential. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious :-) I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). Queanbeyan is a well kept secret and a great place to live - this is from a born and bred Canberran. The house is a safe, short walk to town which has nice pubs and eateries and all the essential shops including a couple of excellent op-shops.
Looking for a flat/house or room in an existing share place in the Queanbeyan area for myself and my little ten year old dog Billy. Preferably with a yard or courtyard and/or patio, within walking/easy cycling distance to the Queanbeyan CBD, or on a bus route. I am the event manager for a large annual Sydney based Festival (I work remotely from home, so Billy is rarely left alone). I am friendly, sociable and like a chat, but also like my quiet time. Qualities in a flatmate: Easy going, no dramas, not an 'at home partier', clean and tidy.
Hi all I work full time as chippy/plaster. I do work long hours and most weekends but I do like to make new friends. I also do like to mingle with new people and get to know them. About once a month I like to have friends over and put on a bbq and have some drinks you’re more then welcome to bring you’re friends along. Also like to have family over once every two/three weeks. I’m clean and tidy I pull my weight around the place. I’m also like a ghost at times when I like to be by myself. I do also like to have my two very cute little nieces stay every now and then. If I’m aloud to and is accepted by the household.
