Hi there! We're looking to start a share house are keen to move out ASAP! We are looking for 1 other person to join us and are happy to join an existing house or start a new one! Here are a few things about us: - We are friends and have known each other for over 10 years, we are both 22. - Emma works as a teacher's aid and in admin part time while studying her teaching degree. She loves a night in with a good book, a tub of cookies and cream icecream and cuddles from her pup. - Luke works at Deloitte full time and spends most of his free time playing games, watching sport, bushwalking and bike riding. - We are clean, friendly and easy going. - We are both considerate and respectful of other people's privacy. - Our budget is $200/week each. - Our preferred location is in Queanbeyan or Jerrabomberra but we happy to move into Canberra as long as the house is within 20 minutes of the airport. You should also know that Emma also has a 7-month-old pup named Spencer who will be joining us. He loves all the cuddles and pats you can spare. Also joining us is her rabbit named Stewie, a fluffy bunny full of attitude. So with this in mind we're looking for a pet friendly house. If you are interested then let us know by flicking us a message!
The house is a new, light and bright 3br, 2 bathroom house. On offer is an unfurnished bedroom, main bathroom all to yourself and I have converted the third bedroom into a study/lounge area so that there are 2 separate living areas. Ducted heating/air conditioning, all new appliances in kitchen and laundry. Internet included in rent. The bedroom has a built in robe with mirrored doors and other storage is available. The house is a 1min walk from the new shopping centre opening in May 2018 which hosts a supermarket, gym, cafe/bakery, gastro pub, butcher, retail and allied health precinct. Whilst a short walk it's tucked away from the main streets surrounding shopping centre. Club Googong has a swimming pool, small gym and cafe already open. Googong is a new township, 7-8 mins drive behind Queanbeyan. 25-30mins from Manuka, Woden and Tuggeranong. It has a nice safe community feel and friendly vibe.
I'm easy, no stress, pretty chill I've got a PS4 and I'm usually down to watch a movie but also don't care if I'm not really talked to. I have a cat named Berlioz, he's super fluffy and loves people and cuddles so thats pretty good; we are a package deal though. Right now I'm working two jobs so probably wouldn't be home all the time but I'm pretty clean but not crazy about mess.
Jerra is a great suburb, a village with all the mod cons at your doorstep. The house is large with plenty of room for privacy and fully fitted out with nice modern furnishings.A lovely yard to sit and enjoy the sun. Some storage available in the garage. There is foxtel, DVD in the main lounge, the room has a TV/DVD player also with a double bed. Sheets and bedding can be offered. I have a full Karaoke system set up which is great fun with a few ppl around.
I'm a responsible, easy going Engineer and really I'm just hoping my future housemates don't leave all of the housework to me. I'm single, come with the most adorable little rag-doll cat you'll ever see and I mostly spend my spare time relaxing with Netflix, movies and games. I'm happy to cook & socialise as well, although I generally keep to myself.

Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
I am a fulltime admin worker, and can keep to myself when needed but I do love to have a laugh and be social as well! Clean and tidy person, also don’t mind cooking and having a drink. Happy to live with any animals! Love them all. Please message me if you have anymore questions.
Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, I'll be a qualified beauty therapist by the end of year. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging and having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy and anxious. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I love nerding out- I love marvel, DC reading comics, game of thrones, depending how nerdy you are I can play magic the gathering and always down to learn a new thing or two ! I’m super super shy I can’t stress that enough, but once I’m comfortable I’m sure we’d get on fine! I do have a few LGBT friends that would potentially come over so I’d prefer if I was living with someone who accepts them. Let me know if you’d like to know more about me.
One room available in Gilmore for rent. $200 per week includes rent and unlimited internet. The house is located within a two minute walk to Chisholm shops. Bus stops are only across the street. Tuggeranong is only a 10 minute drive away. The city is only about 20 minutes drive away. You would have your own bathroom and potentially your own living area. The room is unfurnished and has a double built in robe. Utility bills would be spilt by three ways.
Fairly central (15min drive to the city). Close to Queanbeyan township. Plenty of parking. I have a BBQ, and main living areas have reverse cycle air conditioning. Parking also available just outside the house and I have 2 rooms available. This means initially the bathroom won’t be shared, until I chose to get a second person in. Bills are included in the rent- Gas, Electricity and Cleaner. That’s right, once per week, I have a cleaner do the main bigger cleaning jobs- vaccuuming, mopping tiles, cleaning bathrooms/toilets and dusting. This means I basically just have to clean up as I cook in the kitchen and everything else takes care of itself 👌🏽 Perfect for the busy professional who doesn’t have time or energy to spend hours cleaning per week. Applicant must be a dog lover, as I own the worlds best and most gentle dog, who you are free to pat at anytime 🤓

Great central Queanbeyan location. Close to shopping centre and all amenities. 5-10 min walk to 3 pubs, cafes etc. Ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling system throughout entire home. High ceilings throughout. 1 large master bedroom with big window. 2 more smaller but reasonably sized bedrooms. Large living/dining area with updated kitchen. Large back yard with clothes line, 2 vegetable gardens and large shed. Plenty of parking space in driveway and front yard. Quiet and friendly neighbours. Some bills ( water, internet) included in rent. Electricity not included. Pets considered. Can leave some furnishings if required. We are happy for this home to become a share house if that works best. Call Oliver for more information.
I will be reliable with payments, as I work two jobs, and earn enough to support myself. I’m currently cooking and cleaning for a whole family house hold so I am a tidy person and will care for myself. I would appreciate my own room; and as I am a social person I’d love to become good friends with my new house mates, and would appreciate being aloud to have mates over (definitely not essential). I am desperate to move out of home, and would appreciate a house ASAP!! 😊
I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
Quiet (except for birds- magpies caroling, lorikeets tweetching etc). Surrounded by bush. Close to Chisholm shops - supermarkets (Aldi, Coles), butcher, cafe, chemist, newsagent, medical, dental, servo, take-aways (Subway, Zucchini Bros), an Anytime Fitness, and places to have a drink. Big back yard with native shrubbery and shady trees. Good bus connections to Tuggeranong and Civic. By car- about 10mins to Tuggeranong, 15mins to Fyshwick, 20 mins to Canberra airport and 25mins to ANU/Civic. There are two rooms available each with generous built-ins. Feel free to choose one, and to bring your own furniture if you like. Practically unused garage for extra storage.
A huge, gracious and elegant building ( former boarding school) just 20 min from the Parliamentary circle. A formal dining, huge kitchen and family room. Very large bedroom - great for a couple. Easily fit lounge, TV, desk, table Fantastic gardens .and courtyard for entertaining Beautiful courtyard and gardens Close to shops and transport Huge historic buildingHuge bedrooms and living areas Room is very spacious with large walk in robe and ensuite - very suitable for couples Rooms can be furnished/ unfurnished as required
I am very low maintenance and easy going. Happy to have a chat and share a meal or a drink but understand boundaries and personal space and everyone's need for these. I'm happy to chip in with jobs and help out around the place and always clean up after myself. I'm a positive, happy (without being over the top) person to be around.
We are a young couple from Newcastle and we are moving to Canberra for work at very short notice. We urgently require short-term accommodation until we can get settled in and find our own place. We would like to move in preferably no later than the beginning of June. Our preferred length of stay is around 2-3 months but we can be flexible with this. Elliott (22 y.o.) - Public servant and Clark Kent look-alike; currently working as a research assistant and finishing the last semester of a commerce degree via distance. Michelle (27 y.o.) - Recently completed a B.A. in politics and international relations; moving to Canberra to work and study at ANU. • We are mature, respectful, and clean up after ourselves. • We're sociable and easy to get along with, but we also appreciate having our own space. • We'll be working full-time hours Monday-Friday and studying during nights/weekends, so we're looking for housemates who are quiet and considerate, especially during the evening. (We don't mind sharing with other students as long as it's not a noisy 'party house' type environment). • We're not adverse to hanging out occasionally — it would be nice to know some locals who can show us around the city and recommend things to see/do in Canberra :) • Hoping to find a room that's already furnished because we'll need time to acquire our own furniture. A queen bed would be ideal because all of our sheets, quilts etc. are queen size (and Elliott is probably too tall to sleep on anything smaller). • We'll need parking space (Elliott has a car and I plan to bring mine down from Newcastle in the near future, too). • I'll be relying on public transport for at least a few weeks, so accommodation located reasonably close to public transport is a must. • We would prefer to have our own bathroom/ensuite (if possible) but we're not in a position to be too fussy. • Decent internet/Wi-Fi and heating/cooling is essential.
Hello! :) We are an italian couple. I'm 26 and my partner is 24. We are currently living in Canberra because we both play rugby and we had the opportunity to play in a local team. So, here we are! We are very simple, reserved and clean people. We both work all week and we like playing footy over the weekend. We love cooking and going out for a beer or a dinner. We are not noisy and we are very happy to find a home to share with new roommates / friends.
