The house is a new, light and bright 3br, 2 bathroom house. On offer is an unfurnished bedroom, main bathroom all to yourself and I have converted the third bedroom into a flexible living space so that there are 2 separate living areas. Ducted heating/air conditioning, all new appliances in kitchen and laundry. Internet included in rent. The bedroom is 3x3m and has a built in robe with mirrored doors and other storage is available. The house is a 1min walk from the new shopping centre opening in April 2018 which hosts a supermarket, cafe/bakery, gastro pub, butcher, retail and allied health precinct. Whilst a short walk it's tucked away from the main streets surrounding shopping centre. Club Googong has a swimming pool, small gym and cafe already open. Googong is a new township, 7-8 mins drive behind Queanbeyan. 25-30mins from Manuka, Woden and Tuggeranong. It has a nice safe community feel and friendly vibe.
If you are looking for a share house that is more of a home than a makeshift rental this is for you. The great lighting, modern floor plan, and private paved courtyard give the place a great feel. There are three living spaces, three toilets, a large laundry, and a double lockup garage with internal access (one car space for you). The kitchen is well appointed with stainless steel appliances, gas cook top and a dishwasher. The bedrooms are located upstairs with no walls shared. Your bedroom has a built in closet and is next to the main bathroom (with separate shower and bath), and separate toilet – both of which would be for your private use. The house is fully furnished, the bedroom for rent is empty. Jerrabomberra is a 15-minute drive to Kingston / Barton – I work in that area and park for free at Telopea Park each morning. There is a Woolworths, Bakers Delight, Anytime Fitness, coffee shop, florist, a few restaurants (BYO) and a pub within a 3 minute drive / 10 minute walk. The small lake and mountain reserve make outdoor living and fitness easy. You may not have considered Jerrabomberra before but I assure you it’s a great spot.
Hi there! I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne and am looking for a room for around 3-6 months, preferably beginning within the next 2 - 6 weeks, and in the $100-150 range. Pretty flexible with location (north, south, etc) and not fussed if furnished or unfurnished. Am a tidy, clean person, good with animals and generally quiet but more than happy to chill out with housemates :) Willing to split bills and obviously do my share of housework. I enjoy gaming or heading out for coffee/movies/casual drinks in my free time. Let me know if you're interested!
Hannah, almost 18. Lover of animals. I have been in a long distance relationship for 2 years now and I have decided it's time to move close to my boyfriend. Preferably southside Canberra but I am flexible! I currently work as a pharmacy assistant in Jervis Bay and I am studying my Cert III in Individual Support online. I don't drink, do drugs, or smoke but have no problem if you do. I love my boyfriend so it must be okay for him to stay over 2 or 3 nights a week. He is 19 and doesn't drink, do drugs, or smoke either. The date I plan on moving depends on when I get accommodation, the one I provided was just a general guess! More than happy to answer any questions and give my Facebook details for easier conversations. Thanks!

Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
Hey my name is Sinead :) I am a single female from London originally, living in Canberra for about 4 years now working in the community sector. I live a pretty busy lifestyle, if Im not at work i am going to the gym or taking part in various community development projects. Im a easy going person who equally loves socializing as much as binge Netflix evenings. Im a clean, tidy non smoker who enjoy`s cooking, exercising, watching movies and trying new restaurants. I see the importance of being open to communication when sharing a home and doing my fair share towards house work. I am looking for a all female house share or something similar, starting from the start to middle of April. Please feel free to ask any questions and i look forward to hearing from you.
NBN Internet is now up and running. 1 bedroom available now in a 4 bedroom house on Fergus Rd, Karabar, Queanbeyan NSW. One of the rooms is used as a lounge room so you will only be living with 2 other people. The house is in a great location close to Canberra Ave and a short walk to Queanbeyan Park. Only 2 minutes to Queanbeyan town centre, 5 minutes to Canberra Outlet Centre in Fyshwick and 15 minutes to Canberra City or Canberra International Airport. Large yard with plenty of off-street parking. Rent is $180 per week inclusive of all bills. 4 weeks bond is required and 2 weeks rent paid in advanced. Please call to arrange an inspection and get ready to enjoy country living with city benefits. Please note that inspections will be on weekends by appointment only as I now work in Sydney during the week. Thanks for your understanding. Hope to see you soon.

Hi, im a clean living, easy going and friendly guy . I'm a non smoker. I'm happy to help out around the home as required, being used to housework and cleaning etc. I work full time in the city as a public servant, I've been with the same agency for over 12 years. Im respectful of the privacy of other room mates yet sociable.
Been in canberra all my life. Tidy, friendly, respectful, funny, social, easy going and mostly keep to myself. Willing to pitch in wherever needed. I love music, gaming, pets and just having a laugh.
A huge, gracious and elegant building ( former boarding school) just 20 min from the Parliamentary circle. A formal dining, huge kitchen and family room. Very large bedroom - great for a couple. Easily fit lounge, TV, desk, table Fantastic gardens .and courtyard for entertaining Beautiful courtyard and gardens Close to shops and transport Huge historic buildingHuge bedrooms and living areas Rooms suitable for 2 singles or couples Rooms can be furnished if required
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) for one person that is AVAILABLE from 31 MARCH. The maximum people in the house will be two i.e. me and you - there are only two bedrooms. No couples please as it is too 'squeezy'. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Because of this I am happy to have short-term shares i.e. you might be looking for somewhere more suitable that will take your furniture but you need to move out of where you are staying. For less than 4 weeks add another $10 a week to the weekly rent. More than 4 weeks we then work out the shared gas, electricity and water bills. The house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for two smaller cars and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute (or 25 minutes with a heavy backpack!) walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. You've got to be willing to do your bit in the garden - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do your bit. Garden tasks are mostly sweeping the paths, deck, driveway and raking eucalyptus bark and leaves (once a week) and occasional mowing and cutting back hideously invasive ivy. Between two it is less than onerous. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with and actually know how to clean (you'd be suprised...!). I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious :-) I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). I play indoor soccer, run and cycle (as a transport option rather than for fun) and like to keep fit. If you want to know more about why I have a pic of a juvenile Thorny Devil on my middle finger then see my research topic at my uni open access web link at the Fenner School of Environment and Society by doing a Google search. Cheers, Juliana
I moved to Canberra in 2011 and have been working for the APS ever since. I've bought a place here so I'm looking to rent until I move into it in August 2019. I'm an awesome housemate because I can keep to myself and get involved with the house. I'm housebroken and have lived in share houses previously.
Working as a hairdresser full time. Love meeting people and hanging out but know about that personal space lovin. Looking to be in a pretty chilled out environment. Honestly I can move in right now. Sooner the better as my lease has pretty much ended and I'm about to declare myself as homeless 😇
I'm a full-time Phd student recently moved to Canberra and looking for accommodation for myself. I'm easy going person but respect privacy. I'm looking for a clean and quite place to concentrate on my studies but love to have chat over a cup of tea.
I always find it hard to talk about myself because I am just me... but here goes. I consider myself easy going with a good sense of humour. I am quiet but also sociable. A non smoker and a social drinker. Work for Anglicare in Fyshwick. Moved down to Canberra in January to help out family down here. I have four kids back in Brisbane whom I visit every 6 to 8 weeks (fly up for a weekend). I am a very tidy and clean person, after cooking I clean up straight away. More than happy to do my share the household chores.
Hey just moved to canberra pretty chilled guy, considerate, clean, cooks, happy to share milk and eggs sorta person, i also have a full house worth of furniture and white goods and a small 1yo beagle who is no drama at all and has grown up around cats and gets along with other animals.
I’m a single mum friendly, clean, tidy, well behaved , hard working, collaborative and know how to use common sense. I have an adorable 2yo daughter so well behaved ( she’s a bless). We moved to Canberra from Brisbane cause I got a job in the Venezuelan embassy. I don’t know many people here so that’s is part of the reason why I’m looking for a share home preferably with another girl.
We are a young couple who are looking for a shared accommodation to live in for a few months until we find a property to rent privately. We both work full time hours in retail, and are laid back and easy going. Andrew is a Canberra local and keely has recently moved down from sydney so a shared rental would be great to be able to meet new people in the area.
