The house is a new, light and bright 3br, 2 bathroom house. On offer is an unfurnished bedroom, main bathroom all to yourself and I am converting the third bedroom into a flexible living space so that there are 2 separate living areas. Ducted heating/air conditioning, all new appliances in kitchen and laundry. Internet included in rent. Off street parking on driveway. The house is a 1min walk from the new shopping centre opening in March 2018 which hosts a gym, supermarket, cafe/bar, butcher, retail and allied health precinct. Whilst a short walk it's tucked away from the main streets surrounding shopping centre. Club Googong has a swimming pool, small gym and cafe already open. Googong is a new township, 7-8 mins drive behind Queanbeyan. 25-30mins from Manuka, Woden and Tuggeranong. It has a nice safe community feel and friendly vibe.

Friends call me Kichu. I'm moving to Australia from India for my PG @ ANU on Feb 1, 2018. I like to sing, percuss and read. I can get along with any personality or culture. I am a good teacher and can talk about science, technology and Indian music for all day long. I love pets even though I don't have any. I play CoD and CSGo. I'm a GoT BBT fanboy. I'm new to Australia might need help in adjusting to it. My budget is $125 - $140inc per week.
One room available in Gilmore for rent. $200 per week includes rent and unlimited internet. The house is located within a two minute walk to Chisholm shops. Bus stops are only across the street. Tuggeranong is only a 10 minute drive away. The city is only about 20 minutes drive away. You would have your own bathroom and potentially your own living area. The room is unfurnished and has a double built in robe. Utility bills would be spilt by three ways.
The house is located in a lovely, quiet complex in Gilmore. There are several take away food places, a coles supermarket and a gym right across the road. You would be sharing with myself, my friendly boxer and cats. I am a vet nurse so animals are my whole life. The available room is small but big enough to fit a queen bed (squishy but cozy) or a double bed if you want a bit more room. The rest of the house is fully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen. I have unlimited internet, Foxtel, Netflix, Stan which I’m happy to share for a small monthly fee 😉 the only other bill is electricity which will be split evenly. The new tenant must be willing to sign onto the lease with me and pay half the bond ($760). This is a long term rental that I don’t plan on moving out of anytime soon so any length of stay is welcome 🙂 another female housemate is preferred but open to the right person.
Conveniently located to Canberra Ave, Karabar shops, service station, dog park, park, walking trails, fishing, hiking, Queanbeyan shopping precinct, easy getaway to the coast/Bungendore. Big back yard with two friendly complementary dogs (1 x Wolfhound cross and 1 Deerhound), back shed, plenty of space for gardening or parking boat/jet ski/project car. Friendly neighbourhood. Nice views of Queanbeyan from the front balcony.
Looking for a room, I can help you. Luxury spacious deluxe room to rent in Chisholm Hights. To share with me and my small four legged buddy Murray The pad: A spacious 3 bed room 2 bathroom architectural master piece set on the magnificent Chisholm hill, and over looking the picturesque Tuggernong valley. So if you dont want to miss out on this opportunity of a life time, Plz ring or msg only (no email I will not reply.)
I'm a reliable individual who is always easy to get along with. I am working a full time job and and am quite independent. i work in childcare which makes me quite fun and and friendly. I am a bit shy but still quite approachable.
Close to local shops and bus stop, clean and tidy. Has been a tradies stop-off, looking for a more permanent tenant. Contains one double bed and wardrobe. Great for commuters going south from the city or to the coast.
Hi there, I am 24 years old and have just got back from a two month holiday to canada, USA and Mexico. I am looking to move into a place sometime around April. Ideally I would like to live in either the Woden Valley or Queanbeyan areas as I will be working in fyshwick. My budget is $250pw not including bills. I will be starting a part time degree at UC in 2018 and working full-time. I am an active person who likes to socialize. I work in IT so can help with any internet issues that arrise 😅 Looking forward to seeing where this leads.
Quiet, friendly, easy to be around. Hobbies include engraving, calligraphy, chip carving, archery and bushwalking. Working as an engraving teacher and as a general assistant to the team at Tharwa Valley Forge. Also studying online.
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) for one person that is AVAILABLE from LATE FEB/EARLY MARCH. The maximum people in the house will be two i.e. me and you - there are only two bedrooms. No couples please as it is too 'squeezy'. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Because of this I am happy to have short-term shares i.e. you might be looking for somewhere more suitable that will take your furniture but you need to move out of where you are staying. For less than 4 weeks add another $10 a week to the weekly rent. More than 4 weeks we then work out the shared gas, electricity and water bills. The house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN limited wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for two smaller cars and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute (or 25 minutes with a heavy backpack!) walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. You've got to be willing to do your bit in the garden - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do your bit. Garden tasks are mostly sweeping the paths, deck, driveway and raking eucalyptus bark and leaves (once a week) and occasional mowing and cutting back hideously invasive ivy. Between two it is less than onerous. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with and actually know how to clean (you'd be suprised...!). I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. And I really do not care whether you are a 'professional' or not - used alone, I find the term pretentious :-) I am much happier knowing about your interests :-) rather than how you earn a living (and yes, I know they could be one and the same...). I play indoor soccer, run and cycle (as a transport option rather than for fun) and like to keep fit. If you want to know more about why I have a pic of a juvenile Thorny Devil on my middle finger then see my research topic at my uni open access web link at the Fenner School of Environment and Society by doing a Google search. Cheers, Juliana
Large main bedroom available with built in wardrobe and alcove for storage or study space. Ceiling fan for hot summer days and central heating for cold winter nights. Big back yard with veggie patch, BBQ and home gym, covered pergola for entertaining or relaxing. Nice quiet street with good neighbours, close to shopping centers and bus stops. There are plenty of times to have the house to yourself or to share time over a drink and unwind.
