I am an easy going introverted geek. I value being healthy and spending time in nature. I have a sweet, obedient , cat submissive dog with me who is my dependent. I work as a counsellor at a wellness center part time and at Drug Arm Australasia part time. I would love to live somewhere that is peaceful, respectful and welcoming to my beautiful dog. I have some pretty interesting stories from my travels and can muster a wicked conversation about the meaning of life when called for ;)
I am very understanding and easy going. I am courteous due to my work requirements, and honest. I work in the aviation industry. I have just returned from being based in Sydney and while I look for something to buy over the next 6-12 months I wanted to rent something tidy and pet friendly as I have a small dog. I am a lot of fun, love the outdoors and trying new things, hence giving this a go.
Hello! I am looking for a place to make a home for a while. I am studying Naturopathy and work full-time in health food shops. I like to keep fit yoga, pilates, gym, swimming, walking etc. I like to cook and use the kitchen, making healthy meals and treats and fermented foods like Kombucha, Kefir, tempeh. I would love to work on a garden and grow my own herbs and veges. When I am at home I tend to study and read. I like to have a quiet, relaxed environment. It would also be great though to occasionally share meals, have a glass of wine, debrief our days and socialise. I would consider myself an easy going person within reason of course. I am generous, friendly and thoughtful.
Hi I'm Holly! I am 21, originally from New Zealand. I work full time as a manager at KFC, choreograph musical theatre shows part time and dance in my free time! I have a partner, Tom, who I love dearly and would love a housemate who doesn't mind if he comes over a couple of times a week (he's very tidy, quiet and respectful - like me!). I am responsible and always pay my bills on time - nothing worse than overdue bills I reckon! I am outgoing, bubbly and friendly and would love some cheeky housemates. Looking for around Indoooroopilly as that's where I work - plus if you live with me, you'll score free chicken anytime (perk). I smoke only occasionally and NEVER inside (always outside - I'm very picky about that) but happy to not do it if you aren't a fan :-) Am going into studying later in the year but for now focusing on working and saving! Feel free to shoot me a message 😋
Hi! I'm Eva, a 28-year-old Marketing Manager. I'm moving from Belgium to Brisbane for work (Richlands, min stay of 2 years) on the 13th of January. I'm looking for a roommate with a flat/house where my beagle Bass would also be welcome. He's very lovely, turning one in January! The ideal home for him would have a fenced garden. I like to spend the work nights relaxing at home. In the weekends I love to explore places with my dog, meet up with friends, go to the beach, ... Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
I'm an easy going professional working in town who likes to relax and unwind in the evenings over anything from a beer & good conversation to a trip to the gym, an episode of GoT or a good book. I'm clean without being obsessive and understand what tact is, though it might shock my family if they were to ever observe me practice some. I am good at respecting peoples space and generally don't intrude without an invitation. I also come bearing free avocados as I have a small hobby farm outside of town where I spend some weekends.
Hi everyone, My name is Meegan and Im looking for a sharehouse to stay in. I have a mini Border Collie called Louis who doesnt bark, but would love a doggy friend to spend his days with. Louis is toilet trained and is used to being inside. I work as an Officer for the Gov, 9-5 mon to fri. Moving in with someone who loves dogs would be a bonus. I need a room fairly soon as my current housemate just purchased a cat without asking me and I am allergic :/
Looking for someone to split the cost of living as well as a bottle of wine after a long week. I am on full time placement at the mater hospital this semester and work weekends so I’ll mainly be home at night. Would love to be close to the train station and have a balcony for my two beautiful cats to hang out on. I’m a bit of a princess so air con and a dishwasher is a must. Ive been living by myself so I have everything from a lounge to a fridge so perfect if you havent got anything. 😅 No big deal if I have to store some stuff but would like an unfurnished room. I have a boyfriend that would stay over sometimes as well. Flexible about length of stay, let me know if you would like to find a place with me 😁
I am a 63 year old woman living in the Sunshine Coast hinterland but working as a teacher at a school in Chelmer, Brisbane. For the last 5 years, I have boarded in Brisbane from Monday afternoons to Friday mornings during school terms. I was the companion/helper to a now 91 year old lady who received Blue Care Home assistance and attended a respite centre 3 days a week. She had mild dementia. In the late afternoons, evenings and mornings before I left for work, I provided companionship and general care for her, e.g. I heated up her evening meal, checked she took her medication and kept a general eye on her health and well-being. This lady has now moved into an aged care home so I am looking for a similar position with another elderly woman or with any woman with a spare room and a desire for some company. I bring my own food and meals each week, supply my own bedding and do my washing at my own home at the weekends. I am quiet, very tidy and like to keep a clean house. I can supply a reference from the lady’s daughter if required.
Hi there! Mike, 28 and kiwi though been in Aussie a little over 2 years now. Working full time in the plastics industry as lab manager and 2ic. A bit of a fiend for charcoal bbqs and storm watching. Into sports particularly cricket and boxing also PlayStation. Like to be in a social house though working professional so I stay pretty lowkey through the week but up for a drink or 2 Friday eve. Currently living in Sherwood and would like to stay in the area but also open to the options. Our lease ends weekend of the 21st January. Clean and tidy guy with a sense of humor also reliable. Really looking for some people of the same! Message me if I sound a fit!
I am looking for somewhere with some yard for my two little dogs! :) They are spaniel crosses... so very cute! I am very easy going and like my own space but also love a good night out with fun people and great food. I will be studying this year at QUT KG campus (master of teaching) and also work in hospitality to pay the bills. I am looking for western suburb homes but also open to other inner city areas (west end, KG, Annerley, Woollongabba) - hit me up if you're a cool chick or dude and you like what you have read above! :)
Hi, My name is Mark, a professional guy in Fifties who lives in Noosa and is looking for a very quiet private room between Monday and Thursday and return to Noosa on the weekends. I am a early riser to exercise and will only need to use the kitchen to prepare a meal and I leave early in the mornings. I am a clean freak and enjoy living this way, a great conversationalist and very social but prefer to keep to myself.
I'm a 24 year old full-time student. I'm moving to Brisbane from Sydney in December looking for a single room. I have a good rental history and pay rent on time and have lived in share houses for over 5 years so am familiar with the dynamics. I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going person. I enjoy the odd glass of wine when i get home and a netflix binge every now and again (I am a genuine whiz kid at useless movie trivia!).
Relaxed, easy going, very tidy as I once had my own teenagers to clean up after. I am also an ex bond cleaner but work full time a Indooroopilly shopping centre. Please contact me via phone ally :)
I m a clean and tidy person I'm from London I enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors I'm not a big drinker and don't 'party ' Im verry respectful of people's space and property
Life experienced, lots of time on my hands, very honest, very tidy, know Brisbane very well. Volunteering in Aged Care occupies quite a lot of my time as does spending time with my grandchildren here, interstate and overseas. Very happy, well travelled guy who is articulate and intelligent.
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am quite independent and like to keep everything very clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and am living here up until the end of January, so I may be a bit of a busy-bot for the first few months of living in Brisbane, as I love discovering new places and seeing new things. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is quite a sweet little thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us (preferably spacious as I will have Millie's scratching pole, bed, enclosed toilet and off ground food bowls to go in) available towards the end of January 2018, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
What makes me great to live with is that I'm pretty chill, love to contibute and am a firm believer in respecting my housemates and their belongings. I'm always up for a good chat and a movie, though I'm not much of a drinker. Food wise I'm reasonably healthy and like to share a meal with people now and then. I'm prone to the odd bout of baking too. And I share. XD Household-wise; I'm great at sticking to a cleaning agreement and following it through so long as everyone else does. If you're asleep, I'll do my darndest not to wake you up and hope you'll do the same for me. I think it's very important to clean up after yourself and not do things like fill up the sink with dishes or pile rubbish on top of a full bin. As for interests and hobbies, I sing in the shower, really enjoy animation, still adore Pokemon (both games and cartoon), read manga/japanese comic books and have an almost unhealthy obsession with the Marvel movies. :D I go to the beach as often as I can and love doing the odd bush walk too. On occasion, I have been known to draw or paint. That about sums me up. At the base of it all, I really think housemate situations work best when people respect each other and communicate about things before they become problems. :) Accomodation must haves I'm looking for: - Unfurnished, fairly big room - Existing housemates picking the new person - Formal lease agreement - No kids or families, please! - Employed people who are early to bed, early to rise. :D
I'm friendly and easy to get along with, respect others privacy, like a clean house and enjoy the occasional drink or two with dinner. I would like to live with relatively social housemates as I'm always up for making new friends. I am also looking for a place within walking distance to a train station as I don't own a car. I am also pretty keen on teaming up with a few people to find somewhere new. ps. a/c is desirable :)
I am a fun and loving person from Norway who enjoys to socialsie. I work as a full time nanny, and on my free time I enjoy working out, go for hikes, watch tv, play board games and drink wine. What makes me great to live with, is that I am always positive, respectful, clean and helpful. It's very important for me to get along with my future house mates, so we can make fun memories together.
