Looking for a comfortable, quiet space close to work. Currently renting in Neutral Bay (short term) I am a conscientious roommate, always happy to pitch in wherever needed, will give others their privacy but happy to be there at the end of the work day for a good rant. Studying at Macquarie University and working most other days, often overnights, I happy to share space with women or men.
Iain, 29, British. Here working as a bricklayer. Just been sponsored by my firm so looking to spend the next couple of years at least out here in Australia.
I'm a fun-loving, but reasonably quiet young professional (female) that's moved to Sydney from New Zealand. I work in consulting. Of Indian origin, I've grown up/lived in NZ for the past 16 years (for those who like to know this sort of info!!). I love to explore, learn (proud geek!), love food - eating and cooking, keen to know about different cultures. Honest, fun, outgoing, easy to get along with, clean & tidy and I know that rent and bills need to be paid on time! :) While I am not a party animal, I love to get out. Certainly not the 'always in my room' kind of person, but I do enjoy quiet time as I will be working from home on occasion! I have a mature outlook on life, can get a bit philosophical (!!), can chat about most topics, enjoy healthy discussion, but definitely respect others' views and privacy. Happy to kickback with TV or a book or just music and a chat! I intend to make Sydney my home for the foreseeable future. Keen to find like-minded people who are welcoming, friendly and keen to meet someone new!
Hi, I will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane in January 2017 for work. I have run my own share house in Brisbane for the last 6 years so I completely understand the consideration and respect required when sharing a house. I also have two pets, an indoor cat and a 5 year old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, so I will be looking for a place with a yard (can be small) and that will allow my dog to be inside when I am home (I am willing to pay a pet bond if required). I am happy to team up with anyone else looking to rent a place as I already have all furniture and utensils necessary. In the case of finding a room in an existing share house I will have all my own bedroom furniture (and can bring other things if needed). I would prefer to have my own bathroom but can be flexible on that in the right share house. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in having me and my beautiful pets as roomies :-).
Hi everyone, I'm reliable, quiet as a rule, clean and respectful of others. Up for a laugh, and realise there's a time and place for everything. I'm fit and generally active, non smoker and light/often non drinker. Love animals (if you've got one or some) but don't have any of my own. I'm self employed as a handyman around lane cove area and also studying architecture online, this keeps me busy enough atm. Think that's all! Cheers Michael
Hi, I live in an extremely quiet complex. Mainly older ladies. Bus at the front door. 5 min walk to Bay St, Greenwich Wharf. 10 min walk to Greenwich Point Wharf. I am originally a country guy, respectful and considerate of others. The bathroom and kitchen are older and outdated, however are clean.
Quiet neighbourhood and close to transport and shops. House is an old character-filled semi which was renovated 10 years ago. It is fully furnished and the spare bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished. All utilities - electricity, water, cleaning and garden maintenance included in rent. Off-street parking is safe - street is very wide.
I am a 23 year old graphic designer who works full time in the CBD. I generally am quiet and have a pretty strict routine on weekdays working 9-5 and don't party to go out on weekdays. Similarly, my weekends aren't crazy and I would prefer to have a nice dinner party at home to going out all night. I love to cook and have a quiet glass of wine, binge on tv series and potter about in the garden. I do have a dog; a greyhound named Mandela who would need to be welcomed in to the house and other members willing to be a part of his life as well. Move date is not accurate. Just put in for mandatory purposes; I'm flexible

I am open and communicative man with good manners and tidy habits. The major part of the day I am spending on work outside the flat. Afternoons and nights, if I'm not outside, I will probably spend reading books and listening to music. The next period until the arrival of my family (July/August 2017) I would like to share flat expenses with a flatmate with whom I can achieve good communication. During daytime over some weekend I wish if there are a possibility to host my friends (everything would be previously agreed).
Are you a Christian female looking to make a positive life move in time for the new year? A beautiful and spacious 'room with a view' will be available from mid-December 2016 in our good-sized Greenwich apartment near the harbour foreshore, looking out towards Cockatoo Island. We are 4 mins' walk from a beautiful bay in a quiet area with Greenwich Road shops (including a Campos 4 Beans Cafe, post office, pharmacy and IGA supermarket) round the corner. Greenwich Baths with its lovely beach and cafe is 10 mins' walk. The room could be furnished or unfurnished; if furnished, this means I would sell you my furniture as I am moving back to the UK - we would need to discuss this. The great thing is that you could easily have a room with everything you need ready to welcome you! Furniture: pretty, double bed IKEA frame; quality mattress; linen for both it and a single bed I used to have; two small IKEA rugs; a beautiful antique iron baker's rack which I use for my books etc.; two small bedside tables; a wicker waste paper basket; a wicker laundry basket; a bedside lamp; extensions leads; one chair that belongs to the room. The clothing rack I use belongs to the landlord who lives upstairs. The wardrobe also belongs to the room as far as I'm aware. Transport: bus stop (265) is very close; Wollstonecraft station is 15 minutes' walk; Greenwich hourly ferry service to the CBD is 15 minutes' walk. There is also a commuter catamaran direct to the CBD in 10 minutes from a wharf near the bay in the picture. The rest of the apartment has everything you need (fridge, vacuum cleaner, iron/ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher etc. though no TV - but we actually like it that way! I'm not sure we'd be anti having one but certainly we prefer a peaceful atmosphere to blasting Channel 7 through Mission speakers every night for hours on end...We watch movies/TV on our laptops). There is a garden at the back and a front yard too. The back is greener and has some furniture. We grow herbs and some plants and flowers. My flatmates include an Australian girl from Ballarat who works part-time as a nanny and the rest of the time is very creative in terms of painting, making curtains or whatever...The other one of us is Russian, studying part-time, and a naturopath by day. We don't actually see each other much as our schedules are quite different but sometimes we do like to eat dinner and watch a movie together when we coincide! We keep a clean and peaceful home and don't do mega parties every weekend or anything (sometimes though ;) !), and we have people round to dinner occasionally. For my part, this is not because I don't like parties - I just don't know many people in Sydney compared to London! We are all female. We are practising Christians so it would be nice - though not absolutely essential - to find someone likeminded...We would like someone between the ages of 23 and 45.
Hi everyone, I am a final year law/psychology student who is currently studying full-time in Canberra. I will be moving to Sydney in December for further studies, so I am hoping to find a place to move in Dec. I am a friendly person but at the same time, I respect other people's privacy as well. Most importantly I am also clean and tidy. I don't party - I spend most of my time studying, eating and sleeping, so there will not be any issue with noise. I have been renting in Sydney and Canberra since 2009 so I understand what it means to be a good housemate - to be courteous, flexible, considerate and respectful of other housemates and of course to pay my rentals on time.
Work in professional field based at North Sydney. I am neat and tidy, I work long hours and sometimes i work in interstate. Grew up at Central Coast and family still living over there, sometime will spend my weekend over at my family's house. When I'm home I like to tidy the house and keep the place looking great as always, or wonder in the kitchen preparing food for the week. Or else I will be spending time out and about trying out new cafe/restaurant due to I'm a big foodie.

Hi, I am a young, fit 55, semi-retired and work Friday and Saturday nights. I enjoy pleasant conversation and healthy cooking. I am happy staying to myself and am respectful of other's privacy. I like reading, the gym and fine dining. I am looking for a place close to the city and am not restricted to the suburbs I have highlighted.
Hi There! We've recently moved to the Lower North Shore suburb of Woolwich. Where is Woolwich? Good question, I had no idea about this suburb until I found this flat! Woolwich is located 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD. It take 25 minutes to reach Circular Quay via Ferry (amazing views of the Harbour on your way in!) and about 40 minutes via bus. Woolwich has a really nice village-y feel to it, there are a few cafe's and an award winning pub with some of the best views of the city skyline. It's very leafy and has great harbour walks. I'm thinking about getting a paddle board for the summer as there is a boat launch at the bottom of the street! I'm loving this area, after living in Sydney from Bondi to Leichardt, Woolwich is by far the most chilled out and underrated suburb. If you want to feel like your living on an island sanctuary but still close to city this is the place! The Flat: Has three bedrooms, water views and is recently renovated, timber flooring, modern kitchen and bathroom. The flat is: - furnished, - kitchen has all modern appliances - there is an internal laundry and dryer - ADSL2 broadband So to the room! The room has a bed and is the smallest of the three. The room has water views, a garment rack and double bed. To us - you're awesome flatties! We're are Eryn and Michael - we are not a couple! Eryn - I'm 33yo and work as an Engagement Manager at a children's cancer charity. Michael - I'm 27yo recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne and work in Communications & PR. We are looking for a flatmate who is chilled and respectful, who has their own life, but who doesn't mind having a chat, netflix binge or a "faux family" meal + vino from time to time :) We are are both pretty clean and tidy but not pedantic about putting things away, so the flat does look lived in. As long as there is equal share of cleaning the common areas, its all good. We also do have friends that pop in from time to time, so your friends are welcome too :) but we are definitely not a party house... We are both easy going and approachable and are looking for someone like-minded that will be able to talk about any issues if they do come up. Eryn - I have also two cats, both keep to themselves and are totally chill... They will only seek affection if they want a cuddle i.e they're both typical cats ;) Looking forward to hearing from you! :) Eryn & Michael
Hi guys, I'm going back home for holidays and would like to rent my room during that time. The room will be available from 14/12/2016 to 18/01/2017, dates are negotiable. It's a comfortable furnished house situaded 3 minutes walking to Wollstonecraft Station and 10 minutes to Sydney CBD. Rent include all bills.
I recently moved to Sydney to work on setting up an Australian office for my current company in the US. I'll be in Sydney through at least May 2016, and have been staying in Surry Hills and really love it. I currently work from home, so I tend to be around pretty frequently,. I don't know a whole lot of people here, and figured the flatmates situation would be a great way to meet people.
I consider myself to be a clean, organised, trustworthy, honest, friendly and down to earth person with a good sense of humour, who appreciates socialising with friends and also understands the importance of having time to myself.
I'm a 28 year old proffesional female looking to find a nice place to live that's close to the city. Either a room in an apartment or a house with a fun but relaxing vibe :)
I am currently studying a double degree in nursing and business and I work 3 jobs. I am hard working and honest and reliable. I am very easy going and clean! In my spare time (which I dont have much of) I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going out for dinner, watching movies and just generally being outside.
We're social, we contribute to cooking and cleaning, we're clean and mostly quiet. Mitch is super handy. Suz is great at pouring wine. Mitch has a full time 9-5 job, Suz works on contracts. Both in I.T. We have a very stable income, so we'll never miss a payment. (Plus, your computer problems will be no more). We love playing tennis, and generally exploring Sydney.
Hi there! My name is Olivia, I'm 21 and work full time in Advertising. My current lease is ending in the next month or so, and I am looking for a fun and friendly, but neat and tidy house and/or apartment. I am also interested in teaming up to find a new house together! A similar age group would be great, who are open to a drink after work and socialising! My lease is up on the 30th November, but I am willing to move around a week or so before Message me if you want to have a chat or want any more details about me!

I like getting to the gym in my spare time, and keen to get back playing football (AFL) next winter. Keen to enjoy life, so eating good food and drinking nice beer/wine is a must. Hi there, I am a pretty well rounded yet quirky guy. I am neat, clean and work full time in the CBD, therefore I am financially stable. Sydney born and bred with a multitude of extensive travel experiences. I am quite social, yet occasionally enjoy my own space. I have had a number of hobbies from a young and am generally interested in many holistic topics. Hopefully my conversation (If you wish for it) will be interesting and not the wet fish level of small talk you have with your duller variety of neighbors and co-workers. I enjoy my health and fitness and am extremely open to any views, religions/ preferences anyone may identify with. Cheers Jarrah
Hey I'm Court, I'm nearly 22, studying full time and working part time. I'm very sociable, adventurous, neat and reliable. I love nights out dancing, but also need those nights in to catch up on tv shows! Wine and trashy tv nights anyone? I would love to move out with two females, somewhere near Crows Nest and North Sydney. I love the cafes and nightlife in this area + it's close to uni/work/family. Also open to the idea of living closer to the beaches. So all in all, I'm looking for two lovely ladies to share the housework, then laugh over a mimosa brunch x
I work full-time in Sydney CBD in the financial industry, and am looking for somebody to team up with/move in with who appreciates a comfortable and clean home which is a bit of sanctuary but also doesn't mind a couple of drinks and a chat.
I'm tidy, mature, have owned an apartment before so know how to treat a home and how to keep it tidy. I work Monday to Friday at milsons point and go to the gym in the cbd so I will need a place that is only a short train ride or walk away. I also want to move in somewhere that's a little social cause I'd like to make some friends and do stuff during the weekends like head to the beach or try a new restaurant/bar or hike or whatever. If there are housemates that also want this- that's a bonus!
