I'm probably one of the most considerate housemate you'll ever meet! Easy going and clean and tidy. I keep busy with my hobbies which include photography, dancing, yoga, travel, walking my dog and bush walking. I'm always up for adventures and on weekends you'll find me out on my SUP, mountain bike riding or swimming at the cotter. I don't watch TV but can often be found watching SBS catch up, netflix or stan as a way to chill out and switch off. I'm not a party animal or have guests over very often as I like my space to be a place of refuge and zen, but I will have the occasional night out with friends every once in a while. I work full time in the public service and have been employed in the same department for the past 8 years which pays the bills, but my dream job would be a national geographic photographer travelling the world. I have a dog who likes to sleep in the sun all day and when she has humans around, she just loves attention and cuddles. She's both an inside and outside dog but happy to work around this if needs be. I'm looking for a place I can chill that's kept clean and tidy and have equally considerate housemates who are happy to have a drink and chat every now and again. Thanks!
I'm looking for someone to join my friend, sister and I in a share house. I'm in my third year studying Journalism at the University of Canberra. I also work part time in retail. I love socialising, keeping fit and travelling. I'm friendly and easy going person. I enjoy my personal space but I'm also up for watching TV and chilling out. I'm trustworthy, reliable and tidy.
Rent $150 per week 2 weeks rent + Bond (2 weeks rent) up front. Shared bills (electricity, water etc.). Your share of these would generally be about $200-250 a quarter depending on the season. Internet (ADSL2+) will be $35/month for unlimited uploads/downloads Or rent including bills (electricity/water/internet) would be $215 a week. There is currently a double bed and mattress and a wire bookshelf in the room, as well as a single built in robe. It could also fit a small desk, TV or chest of drawers if you have them. The unit is fully furnished. Unit has a small balcony, separate laundry plus storage room downstairs and reverse cycle air conditioning bedrooms and living area. The complex is quiet and relaxed. Close to Hawker shops (Bakery, Post office, Butcher, Cafe's, Woolworths, Newsagent, Doctor etc) and bus stops. Send me a message/email and ask me anything else you might like to know. Look forward to hearing from you :)
A Melbournian looking to move up to Canberra to start full-time work in the public service. I'm friendly, reliable, tidy, considerate, easy-going, and a proud supporter of the Oxford comma (sometimes). I'm a nerd at heart who loves his gaming, movies and music. I love playing pick-up basketball, so if you're a follower of the NBA, we'll be sure to get along (unless you're a Celtics fan, fair warning). I'm always good for a chat over some beverages but can also appreciate a quiet night of Netflix and board games. I'm happy to fit into a house looking for a new roommate or team up with others also looking for a place to settle in Canberra. Hopefully looking to move and get settled around mid-December. I'll be working in Bruce so anywhere around there or in north Canberra would be preferred :)
I'm a full-time student looking for accommodation in (preferrably) a sharehouse. I've just completed my first year at the ANU studying a bachelor of science/languages majoring in Japanese and Marine Science. Easy-to-get-along-with local Canberran and love music, dogs and a good dance and drink with friends.
Rent $150 per week 2 weeks rent + Bond (2 weeks rent) up front. Shared bills (electricity, water etc.). Your share of these would generally be about $200-250 a quarter depending on the season. I don't have internet on yet but we can discuss options. The room can fit a double bed, chest of drawers etc if you have them. There is no cupboard in there at the moment but I would buy one for the area if required. The unit is fully furnished apart from the bedroom. Unit includes a small balcony, laundry inside and storage room downstairs, which I use as an art studio but you would be welcome to use a section of it. There is a single carport, which I use but there is room to park behind or in car park in complex. Five minutes walk to Hawker shops (Bakery, Post office, Butcher, Cafe's, Woolworths, Newsagent, Doctor etc). Bus stop at the end of the drive way. Nature walks nearby, the Pinnacle is about ten minutes walk away.
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
I have been renting a private Granny Flat since 2012, sadly the property is going on the market to sell. I keep any where I live whether it be mine or rented clean & tidy, I am laid-back but not lazy, I am social as well as enjoy my own space & quiet times, I respect others space.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills.
I am currently living in Cooma looking to move to Canberra to study next year. I'm a photographer who loves his music, tv shows and games. I like to joke around and have a chat but also respect people's alone time.
3 bedroom refurbished inside, great kitchen, one big open living room, deck, only ten mins from the city, plenty off street parking and big backyard. I am rarely home so most of the time you will have the whole house to yourself.
2 Rooms available in this modern and spacious share house. All bills included. Lots of extras, theatre room downstairs, ducted gas heating and cooling, built in wardrobes, high ceilings, 2 different living areas inside, 2 different outdoor areas, unlimited wi-fi, Netflix, Fetch TV, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, outdoor BBQ, 5 cars can park on second drive way, shared 3-way bathroom with another extra toilet. Only a 5 minutes drive to Belconnen City Centre, close to Universities, CIT/TAFE, Colleges and Government Offices. 10 minutes walk to local shops, 20 minute bus ride to CBD.
It's a nice space (at least i think so). It's comfortable in summer and winter with ducted heating and cooling. Fully furnished room with queen bed, side tables and lamp along with a study desk. With the exception of the bed, all other items can be removed at your request. It's very close to shops and a short bus ride to Belconnen mall (actually you can walk there in 45mins), Canberra University and ANU. It's about 25-35 mins by bus into Civic depending on the bus route. There is an outdoor space with bbq for entertaining and relaxing and space for growing veg if you are into that. I have Netflix and wifi that you can access for an additional charge. I can include Netflix, wifi, electricity and water for an extra $30 a week (which you won't have to pay if you're away). Happy to negotiate rent in exchange for set house cleaning on a weekly basis as agreed by us, and/or occasional babysitting as the need arises.
Hi there, I'm young enthusiastic education student (Finish end of 2018) that is looking for a place to live! My preferred options are to take over student accommodation, studio or a small 2/3 bedroom share house, moving from a 5 bedroom. I love a chat, fitness, sport, playing my PlayStation 4 and a casual drink when something calls for it! I'm respectful of privacy, tidy and very friendly! Furniture wise I have everything to fill my room (including a queen size bed) but I am more than happy to store this stuff for student accommodation.
Hi potential new housemates I am an ex Perth girl and semi nomad who loves to travel. I am currently working part time as a children's physio in Florey and a Gymnastics coach in Belconnen and my lease is coming to an end in January. I am looking for a new place ideally with animals. I happy to help walk, feed and look after any pets you may have. I miss having animals in my life. I am house trained, come with many a fabulous story and enjoy hanging out, cooking together, dancing, acroyoga, hiking, picnics and playing outside. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit in your household. Cheers Avila
Hey I’m Elana, I moved to Canberra at the start of the year to study at the University of Canberra. I have lived on campus accomodation for nearly 2 semesters now, but am very interested in moving out since the tenants on campus are very rowdy and I want a more quiet and relaxed environment to live in. I enjoy binge watching tv shows, excellent coffee and love cats! I am clean and mostly keep to myself but always up for a chat. Looking for a place that is hopefully close to UC

Hello everyone. I'm a Melburnian moving up to Canberra in 2018 to work full time. I'm very friendly, social, tidy, funny and respectful, also fairly introverted. Appreciate cleanliness (!!), privacy and environments with positive vibes. Looking for housemates that are easy-going and fun. Hobbies include tennis, travelling, fun adventures with friends, coffees, food outings, games, anything technology related.
Quiet couple from Regional NSW. 1 is a full-time Law and Commerce student at UC whilst working part-time as a Paralegal in Deakin. The other works full-time as a 3rd year Apprentice Plumber. Looking predominantly to start a share-house with people of a similar age. I have lived in shared student accommodation for 12 months so I understand personal space and how to 'share'! We are quiet mostly and keep to ourselves (utilising Netflix and ice cream binge sessions), however we don't mind the odd social event.
would like to live in a quite place in the belconnen area, would prefer to live with an owner, or longer term stay, and would prefer an all inclusive rate. please send an email thanks
Hi there! I'm a full-time student at ANU who also works. That means I'm pretty busy during the day but like to have a chat with my housemates when I get home, but also value privacy. My interests are (at risk of sounding like an e-harmony ad); cooking delicious food from scratch such as pizza, pasta, and muffins; going to the gym when I can and hiking Canberra's beautiful mountains, as well as hanging out with friends!
I'm 22, graduated uni last year and now work full time in Fundraising and Events. I have only recently moved to Canberra in the last 2 months and spend my spare time playing sports and exploring Canberra.
