My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
Please read description carefully. Thanks. Unfortunately some upgrades to the unit are taking much longer than I had planned. But soon it will be ready and will update the profile with new pics. Please note this is an unfurnished unit. The current photos show the unit fully furnished while there were occupants. Two bedroom north-facing unit soon available for rent (expected by end April). Located on the corner of Springvale Drive and Bonrook Street, Hawker on the north side of Canberra. As it is unfurnished the property would probably suit someone looking for a more long-term stay. The unit is in original condition. Carport. Lockup storage room. Washing machine fittings in bathroom for internal laundry. FOXTEL fittings if you want to purchase the service. Phone jack outlet if you want to connect phone and Internet. You only pay for electricity and phone/internet. Small balcony with nice views. Hawker shops which includes Woolworths, chemist, and newsagent, are just a couple of mins walk. Short drive to Belconnen mall. Only 15 mins drive to Canberra CBD. Small indoor only pets considered. This is a place that offers convenience for a couple, small family or even a single looking to move straight into a rental where you can enjoy your own space and privacy. Happy to arrange an inspection once upgrades have been made. Message me if interested.

I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who is a full time self-published writer and performer. I spend most of my days writing (plus admin and marketing my books) in cafes. I have been a counsellor, cleaner and public servant. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
