I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills.
I'm quiet, friendly and easy to get along with. I do like my own space, but happy to chat as well. I love music, reading, animals (especially cats) and watching movies. I work with children full time and love my job. Happy to move late December, early January :)
TOASTY WARM IN WINTER - DUCTED HEATING THROUGHOUT It's a nice space (at least i think so). It's comfortable in summer and winter with ducted heating and cooling. Fully furnished room with queen bed, side tables and lamp along with a study desk. With the exception of the bed, all other items can be removed at your request. It's very close to shops and a short bus ride to Belconnen mall (actually you can walk there in 45mins), Canberra University and ANU. It's about 25-35 mins by bus into Civic depending on the bus route. There is an outdoor space with bbq for entertaining and relaxing and space for growing veg if you are into that. I have Netflix and wifi that you can access for an additional charge. Bills can either be split as they arrive or i can apply a weekly flat rate to the rent. These options can be discussed if you are interested in the room. Happy to negotiate rent in exchange for set house cleaning on a weekly basis as agreed by us, and/or occasional babysitting as the need arises.
I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Creative and inquisitive soul... Enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, eating (fairly) healthy. Seeking some funky folk to share with. Normally i'd start my own share house but this rental market is crazy. I'm looking for : inner north suburb preferably. Large room with space for queen bed, desk, bookshelf. Prefer a nice, relaxed and reasonably quiet (ie: non party till 4am every night) household where one can unwind and rest and sleep without interruption. Enjoy reading and listening to music, watching TV some nights (ABC / SBS / Netflix), playing acoustic guitar, tinkering around with creative musical projects, sharing a meal now and then, etc... Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Most of my friends are aged in their 30s so sharing around that age group would suit. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Cheers Anthony.
Big house with only one other housemate. Your room is a 4m x 4m Master Bedroom with built in wardrobes and an ensuite. Privacy, storage, and plenty of space. This house has a large open plan kitchen and back deck overlooking the backyard swimming pool. There's a separate dining room and lounge room. Westfield and Hawker shops are a short walk away. Drive to Civic, Braddon or the Parliamentary Triangle in less than 20 minutes. If you have a friendly cat or dog, who will be happy spending its time in the back yard, then we can work something out. Rent includes Wifi and most of the swimming pool maintenance.
Hey! I'm currently studying full-time at UC and working a hospitality part-time jobs. I have been living in Canberra for nearly 2 years coming from the Central Coast. I like to be social and chat but also like privacy and can respect the same for others. I am clean and willing to pitch in where and when it is needed. I'm easy going and enjoy having or good laugh or listening to some good tunes.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
Hi there. I have been living in Sydney for more than 5 years and I am moving to Canberra to work in a Childcare. When not working, I like to enjoy the nature, going for a bushwalks, camping, cycling... I am not a party person, but I like to have a drink sometimes. Not a TV person either, but like to watch a few series any other day. Love animals Non smoker Friendly but like my privacy. :)
Early twenties, female, incredibly sporty- I race mountain bikes and require a place that has secure indoor space for 3 push bikes and other general garage items. Love company, friendly and open for chats/dinners etc. Also respect others privacy and need for down time. I am working as a shift worker for the government- so will be sleeping odd hours. Love music. Clean and tidy. Love the outdoors.
Hi, I'm a 28 year old PhD student (physics) from Germany that will spend half a year (starting early October) at the ANU. In my free time I paraglidie, ride my bike and motorbike, hike or spend time with my partner/friends. I would say I'm a laidback guy that tries to be outside when the weather is right. During my studies I lived in flatshares for several years but now I share a flat with my girlfriend so I know how to clean after myself ;-). On weekdays I will probably work long hours but on the weekends I gladly participate in activities and explore the surroundings ( I'm planning on buying a car). If that sounds like a fit to you, I'd be glad to hear from you. We can also skype to get to know each other. Cheers, Juergen
