I am a 22 y.o female in my first year out of uni and have just scored full time work as a speech pathologist in Hawker. Would love to live in a place that is kept relatively clean & tidy. I enjoy peace & quiet & my own space but am also pretty sociable & would like to live with easy-going people who don't mind having people over from time to time. I enjoy a drink (or a few) and hanging out/going out on the weekends. Have previously lived in share houses & am happy to consider other suburbs of Canberra :)
Hi potential housemate family I am taking the jump and moving to join the 38% of Canberrans working in the public service and am looking for a place to call home. I am a coffee-powered, karate kicking, art and music enthusiast with a love of trivia and history. Home is where the heart is and for me that has always been in the people I meet. If you love a good laugh around the dining room table over wine and cards, healthy Nextflix binge sessions and cosy silences curled up around a book, please adopt this fledgling Brisbanite into your home. Cheers Paris :)

Hope to be in touch soon!

I have been living in Canberra fort the past 3 years. I am currently studying at UC, and working part-time in retail. As final year students moving into graduate studies and transitioning into the working scene, I am really after a peaceful and well-located property to live in. I have been living at my last property in Phillip for the past six months, where I paid a rent of $380 per week. I plan on paying our rent from part-time employment income, savings.
We have a beautiful 4 bedroom home in Page with one shared bathroom. In addition, we enjoy a beautiful outdoor space including a deck. The available room does not have built in wardrobes, although there is a freestanding wardrobe for use or space for your own. There are two of us in the home and we both work full time. We like to keep a tidy house and are not big partyers although do enjoy socialising from time to time. We are looking for a likeminded person to share our home with. That is someone easy going, tidy, and respectful. Unfortunately, no couples. Bills are split equally. Price shown is per week..Rent is paid monthly.
Recently renovated house with established garden (not expected to do yard work!). 5 min walk to local shops, 15 bike ride to Uni of Canberra, lots of bus options. Ducted heating and cooling, fully insulated with double glazing so it stays a nice temperature! Combined living, dining, kitchen with separate lounge so perfect for a share house.
It's a nice space (at least i think so). It's comfortable in summer and winter with ducted heating and cooling. Fully furnished room with queen bed, side tables and lamp along with a study desk. With the exception of the bed, all other items can be removed at your request. It's very close to shops and a short bus ride to Belconnen mall (actually you can walk there in 45mins), Canberra University and ANU. It's about 25-35 mins by bus into Civic depending on the bus route. There is an outdoor space with bbq for entertaining and relaxing and space for growing veg if you are into that. I have Netflix and wifi that you can access for an additional charge. I can include Netflix, wifi, electricity and water for an extra $30 a week (which you won't have to pay if you're away). Happy to negotiate rent in exchange for set house cleaning on a weekly basis as agreed by us, and/or occasional babysitting as the need arises.

It will be $190 per week. Room include bed, mattress, desk, chair, study lamp, Built in robe and fan. Shared with two professional workers.
I’m a 23 year old South African, from Johannesburg. Been in Australia for 4 years studying a bachelor of law at UC. I’ve live in shared student accommodation so I’m respectful of people’s space, clean up after myself and always up for socialising. Ideally I would like to move into a place that has an already furnished room but if it's not, that's okay :-)
I'm a 19 year old girl moving to Canberra to study biomedical science at UC from a NSW town, Taree. I love sport and being active so try to go to the gym and eat healthy as much as I can and wouldn't mind sharing meals. I'm a fairly clean person who will always clean up after myself. Looking for somewhere to live close to UC with someone who is keen for a good time but also respectful of personal space and down time.
I am neat, tidy and mostly happy to keep to myself though I do enjoy a drink in company now and then. I spend a decent amount of time on the computer as I am a bit of a nerd. I'm not a huge socialite but will do my best to fit in amicably. Currently I work in retail but wish to begin something more fulfilling.
I am mostly working and studying. I do bit of gym and cricket and that is why I am sleeping most of the time. I am so busy I never get time to hang out or anything except going to market for groceries. I am a friendly person who keeps him to himself. I have moved to canberra to apply for permanent residency.
Hi there! I'm Maddie and I'm moving from the central coast, NSW, to Canberra to study sports and exercise science at UC. I am looking for a place or to team up to find a place, to live for at least a year to get myself comfortable with the area and to settle into Canberra. I'm a non-smoker, chilled, tidy and respectful of other people's things/space. I love to chat and relax with friends but also would like my own time for things like studying and respect housemates privacy wishes. My interests include sports, gaming, sewing, movie nights and of course anything with good company (and cheese platters!) I'm not a party animal by any stretch but do enjoy the company of friends. I am also a avid baker and make a mean lemon meringue pie if i do say so myself. I have no problems with pets of any kind and in fact would love it. Please don't hesitate to get in touch and exchange numbers to chat further. Hope to hear from you! Cheers :)

I also enjoy sharing a meal or cuppa or TV show/movie (on netflix, don't have a TV) from time to time - as work and life permits. Cleanliness and tidyness are important. As is quiet after 10. I do love my sleep : ) Oh, I have a cat, so if you're allergic... If you wish to have the room unfurnished the weekly rent is $190 Internet is $30/month. The only other bill is electricity.
