Hi, I am Elen. I just graduated from master degrees and i am going to find a job. I am looking for a single room. I am pretty neat, clean, respectful and easy going. Hope to share a house with easy going people, neat and clean. I always pay the rent on time, wouldn't mind to have drinks on weekend and I prefer to share the flat with people who I can call friends. ^^
Hi! I'm a working holiday traveller from South Korea. I just got a full time job in the cbd so looking for a place close to work. I am clean and tidy, with enough experience in flat sharing. I am very easy going and sociable, love going out but won't bring the party into the house. In my spare time you'll most likely to find me binge-watching The Office, cooking or drooling at Sephora. Ideally looking for a place with easy going flatmates who speak fluent English and wouldn't mind sharing occasional drinks together.
I'm a friendly and laid back person with a good sense of humour. I like to keep to myself but also happy to socialise. I enjoy music, books, games, movies, comedy, adventures outdoors and relaxing. I'm finishing studies in horticulture and environmental conservation this year. I run my own Garden Maintenance business. I sing in a choir, am apart of the Melbourne University Fencing team and planning to go back to martial arts training in the near future. Feel free to ask me any questions :)
We're a very easy-going couple who likes to be social as well as having time for ourselves. Jules works fulltime in recruitment, I work part-time and study a course in Flemington. I'm from Germany, Jules is a Melbourne native. We like to do sports and go out for dinner. It would be nice to live together with people who like to be social but also need their quiet times.
Clean, quiet and furnished room in Hawthorn for rent to a SINGLE FEMALE above 24. Available for rent for 3-6 months. Unfortunately, I am unable to accomodate males, couples, or pets. *** If you are repying to this ad, please let me know as much about yourself as possible, including your age, background, lifestyle, routine, and interests, to give me an idea as to whether we would get along enough to live in the same household. Replies with a one-sentence description of yourself ("I'm 24 and want to move in ASAP") are unlikely to receive a reply because they give me almost no real idea as to what kind of person would be moving into my flat. *** You would be sharing the flat with 2 other people: an asian female healthcare professional, and an English psychology student. It's a quiet, even boring, but safe and clean household. Ideally you'd be studying or working full time, able to pay rent in a timely manner, and consider yourself clean, healthy, and independent but also able to interact appropriately in a shared household. ** PLEASE NOTE: No outdoor shoes are allowed inside the house for hygiene reasons. ** The flat itself is 1940s Art Deco, and unrenovated but clean, cosy and fully furnished. The room for rent is carpeted and comes with a bed, desk, chair, lamp, and built in storage. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. It's located on Coppin Grove, just off Burwood road, on a broad, picturesque street lined with period houses and old trees. We are just across from the Yarra river and surrounded by parkland. Transport wise, tram stops 48 and 75 are at the end of our street, taking you either to the city or into the eastern suburbs in 15 mins or less. Hawthorn train station is 700 metres from our doorstep. There's a supermarket, pub, pharmacy, post office, and other shops metres up the road. Free street parking available. Being in Hawthorn and next to other great suburbs like Richmond, Abbotsford and Kew means we are close to a great spread of lifestyle options: Melbourne Uni's Burnley campus, Swinburne Uni, Glenferrie Rd's Lido cinema, Aquatic centre, cosmopolitan restaurants and shops, and Bridge Road's cafes and pubs. Ikea and Victoria gardens are also within walking distance. The rent is $250 a week, per room, payable fortnightly. This includes all bills - electricity, gas, water and broadband. There is a bond of $500. Suitable short - stayers looking for short term accomodation may be considered.
Hello, I'm Caroline, I'm a Marketing and Communication Manager for a large Architecture firm in Southbank. My work hours are standard, 9-5.30pm with the occassional overtime on a deadline. I'm almost 30 and quite mature for my age (so I've been told). I'm orginally from NZ i've been here long enough to consider myself an Aussie (8 years). I'm a strong believer in the work/life balance approach and always make time to pursue my hobbies and personal interests - Design, Travel, Food. I'm a people person so love meeting new faces, trying new things but also having some out for myself. Health and wellbeing are really important to me so I like to get to a pilates session 2-3 times a week and walk as my places as I can to explore. I'm a keen cook and having people to cook for keeps me in my element. I've lived in quite a few share houses over the years and always have maintained good friendships with my house mates. I'm easy to live with, have respect towards my house mates like to keep a tidy house.
Hello potential roommates! My name is Alex and I'm a 27 year old male looking for a new home as well as new roommates to shake things up in my life, in a good way! Ideally I would be located in area with a buzzing culture, great atmosphere and close proximity to my job in the city. I am originally from Sydney but have been living in Melbourne for over a year now. Previous to that I had come back from travelling Europe and Asia for 7 months, which was one of the drivers for the move between cities. I am a clean and friendly roommate with a vast array of cultural, music, film and sports interests. I'm a highly social person who loves to chat and have a laugh. Not much of a cook but am keen to learn, believe it or not though I do enjoy cleaning. Message me to discuss our next steps to hopefully becoming roommates.
Hi I'm Natasha :) Recently moved to Melbourne and work in the CBD. Looking for a wonderful new space to call my own! I like a clean, tidy and amicable home. I like getting to know people and would love to chat and go out with my flatmates but also prefer my downtime, especially after work.
I'm 24 years old and I'm from India. Did my bachelors in architecture and moved to Melbourne about 8 and a half months back to do my Project Management at La Trobe. I usually keep to myself, but am down to chat whenever. And if it's about Anime, Pokemon, Jurassic Park or music, even better hahaha. I am a musician, I primarily play the guitar and have my own solo project called Last Known Surroundings, and most times, i'll be stuck with my guitar and laptop just noodling and recording new ideas. No, my guitar will not make noise unless asked to hahaha. I play through a headphone setup 99.9% of the time and the sound of unamplified electric guitar strings is as loud as it gets. I also cosplayed back home and was a member of the Hyderabad Cosplayers Club where I also helped them promote cosplay culture in our city. My last cosplays were a really patchy Charizard (def gonna make a better one!) and a childhood wrecking Cubone. I stay in a shared room close to the city right now and would like to move somewhere where I have my own room, hence the plan to move. I work casual shifts for a hospitality company some weekends and just got hired at a supermarket chain as well (woohoo)
*** I DO NOT SMOKE AND WOULD LIKE TO LIVE W SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T*** I am a bubbly, social conversationalist; I have lived and worked in several countries, Australia being my 5th home. I love to laugh and talk about lotsa things - politics, development, startups, travel, charity. In my private time I like to day dream about new ideas and create change. I love sports and like to take big walks. I have two beautiful, mixed race boys who mainly live with their mother at the mo, one is 8 the other 3.5. My big boy is a Hawks fun; the little one a Bull Dogs fun; I am fun of both teams obviously but my real heart is w Arsenal - 20 years in a row. Isn't that true of all Africans? lol - I am pure Aussie. I used to live in leafy Eltham and ran my own business. I am now separated and single and recently sold our property. I am looking for new life and challenges; I am currently working on two start-up ideas and want to be closer to the city. I love to solve BIG PROBLEMS and call myself an entreprenuer. Who knows may be one day I will actually become one after I land the big dollars :). Sorry that was wrong. I'll land the big dollars soon or later. Sigh.....! I'm looking for a private room within a house to co-share costs - my budget is between $150 -200 pw and will pay upfront for atleast 20 weeks in advance (3 / 4k). I prefer a 2BR house i.e. a house with only two occupants. A single parent with child(ren) would be a great housemate. Hit me up if you have a room; male or female and you don't mind living w a genius (lol im not) but I am v sociable. Age group from 29 to 55 is preferable, but I am also pretty chill and can hang out w Melbourne's baddass teens lol. I can handle street slangs v well and can repeat "like" in each of my sentences. "Its like he doesn't like me"; "it's like she married a crappy guy" :) I hold a masters' degree and prior to starting my own business I worked with a bank and a large not for profit agency in Melbourne. I have lived in Melbourne for over six years and I am permanent (i've postponed my citizenship test since January lol - :) If you have any questions please ask - I have put all cards on the table. NB. I do not like racist people so if you are one and I contact you just ignore me, I will understand. Thank you for reading my profile. Make it beautiful and contact me if you want a room mate. I am an awesome bloke / dude / guy / hunk whatever you wanna call me. Lotsa people who chill out w me like me instantly. They honestly do lol. Cheers.
California based biotech executive on temp assignment in Melb who is in the office, on travel or spending time with friends majority of the year. Little time at home.
I'm a Master's student, majoring in Communication. I'm generally a quiet but sociable person. I'm very privacy conscious and respect others' space. I'd like a place that's kept clean by other housemates (especially the bathrooms and kitchen) and locked responsibly. I will do the same in return. I also believe in friendship and communication between housemates, and I always pay my bills on time! I would ideally like to move closer to the city (currently in Box Hill). However, I am not opposed to a nice place in Box Hill/Burwood area again. Currently moving out of a place where I've had 3 great housemates. Hope to find the same in the next place :)
I'm 26 year old from England over here working as a site manager in construction. I like to keep fit, go to the gym a fair bit. Started playing rugby here as well so pretty busy during the week. I'm not too bad at cooking and generally a pretty clean and tidy person! I like to go out on a weekend, meet up with mates and go for drinks/food. I enjoy going to gigs, festivals and the like. Looking for some flatmates who fancy chilling out grabbing food drinks and doing fun stuff now and again. I've lived in plenty of share houses in the past so I know the deal!
You can call me Kat. Things I love: pasta, wine, the outdoors, netflix, music festivals/gigs, art. Things I don't love: Mushrooms. I'm mature for my age and reliable.I do love to socialise but am also very chill, will respect your personal space as well as the house in keeping it clean. I'm currently living in Brisbane, however am relocating to Melbourne the 17th of September.I also work full time as an Admin Assistant and will be looking for the same work in Melbourne. I am a friendly, easy going, clean and tidy guy. I spend most of my time between work and university. I am a little bit quiet guy but I enjoy life in all way :) I love music, BBQ, Italian food and beer or wine with friends after a long week. Hey everybody! We are Daniel and Svenja, a German couple, that is on a little world trip since June. Before we came to Australia, we lived and worked in Canada. Before that, Daniel finished his Masters Degree while working part-time and Svenja worked for four years as an Executive Assistant after her Bachelors Degree. If friends would describe us, they would probably say that we are very open-minded, organized and clean. Back home we already lived together for more than 3 years not only alone but with other flatmates. Therefore, we always respect others privacy and way of living. We are no party people, but like good conversations with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. As we will start our new jobs in Melbourne on the 22nd August, we are looking for an apartment very soon. We are looking forward to hear from you soon!
I'M CLEEAAAAAAAN. I like a good laugh, but also won't talk just to fill a silence. I'm from Newcastle, UK and there's something in the water up there that makes us all proper sound. I'm obsessed with food and love cooking* Non smoker and I don't shed hair. I'm generally easy going. Cheers, Alex *Please note I will not cook all of your meals.
This apartment is located right on the border of Richmond. There is a tram stop out the front and Hawthorn train station is a short walk away. There is a nice park at the back of the apartment which is right on the Yarra river. This apartment is modern and generously sized. This room is a great size, it is light filled and has a wardrobe spacious enough for most. It is a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and you would be sharing a bathroom with one other person as the other room has an en suite. It has a great sized kitchen and lounge room which is perfect for entertaining. There is a small balcony off this area which is great for having a drink with friends or having dinner on a nice night.
