Hey guys :) I'm 20 years old and studying at Deakin. I currently live with my parents but am looking to move out and see what the world has to offer haha. I am a tidy home body who enjoys good company and a chat. I am a bit of a foodie so I love cooking and going out to eat all kinds of food. I would consider myself an introvert and extrovert at the same time if that is possible :)
I’m currently living in South Gippsland and studying communication design at Caulfield. I finish my degree in November. At the moment I’m doing freelance design work and casual work for a health food store. In terms of living, I’m easy going and enjoy both socialising as well as down time, and understand that others need the same to varying degrees. I’m also quite tidy and clean up after myself. I enjoy going out every once in a while but am not really a party animal. I’m also interested in health and wellness which means keeping a healthy lifestyle & trying to reduce waste. * I’m currently unsure of my preferred length of stay, so in that sense I guess I’m flexible
In a nutshell I'm 29, work full time, and have been living in Melbourne for 6 months after moving from Newcastle, NSW. I'm very friendly, outgoing, social and respectful. I've played sport all my life so love being active and outdoors. I enjoy weekend drinks, brunches and all round good times. Basically I get along with almost everybody and i'm very easy to live with. If you're looking for a no stress housemate that'll clean up after themselves, not be annoying but also get involved in the good times (and pay the bills), I'm it.
Hi there! My name is James and I work as an architectural draftsperson within the education sector for a company called Fleetwood. I am 25 years old and moved to Melbourne almost 2 years ago from Western Australia. I would consider myself to be a very friendly and funny person. I am a bit of an introvert however and enjoy my own space. This usually revolves around playing computer games or watching netflix, so I guess I'm a bit of a nerd! I also enjoy camping and other outdoor activities from time to time to get away from the city life and relax! I am very neat and tidy, probably to the point of being a little bit OCD, I also don't own alot of things so I guess you could say I'm a bit of a minimalist. I'm also looking to study architecture next year full time, which will mean ill be dropping down to part time work. Lastly I'm really looking forward to meeting some new people and starting this new chapter of my life, hope to hear from you all soon!
Hi, Leah here, I am the girl in the middle of my profile photo. I'm a cool chick. I'm young and single and enjoy that as a rite of passage. First and foremost I think it’s important and transparent to state that I am currently living in Perth and have committed to moving to Melbourne come January. Nothing has gone wrong here in Perth. In fact it’s been a swimmingly good time, now is the appropriate time to broaden my horizons and push out of my comfort zones. I have lived out of home for the past 8 years so I am well versed in share home living experience. I really want to move into a bomb share house, figuratively that is. A nice home, with people who really respect quiet time at those appropriate hours of the day but are up to getting distracted at breakfast time because the energy is high and the banter follows suit. In saying that, I understand that there is a buffering period where we move around each other somewhat silently analysing each movement and figuring out the quirks of the new housemate. I respect this dance. "Whats great about living with me"; I'm very neat and tidy and I function in a better state when there is little clutter around. Coming home to other peoples baggage in the common area is a frustrating prospect, emotional baggage included. All the people I have lived with have told me that I bring a strong homely vibe to the house, thus, creating a home. I've even had them sweetly say that when I left, their house has never been close to "Leah clean" again. I am a nurturer at heart, I have mainly lived with men and it's been a great joy to see how the other breed of human functions. I've actually always taken care of the financial aspect of renting so I guess I never actually had the opportunity to not pay rent and bills on time. Now for some maths Cleanliness + reasonableness + communication - passive aggressiveness / going the extra mile-ness = mature housemates. Also, the limit does not exist. If you get that reference then we are ready to kumbaya my lord. If you hate people referencing pop culture/movies/vines we have lost an opportunity to see eye to eye straight off of the bat, but I’m not all about that. Truely, I am a thoughtful individual who can see the pitfalls of communicating to each other through vines. I practice yoga around 4-5x a week. I am also a teacher and have been teaching privately and publicly for over a year, this (other then my family) will be the toughest thing for me to depart with, however, I am confident Melbourne will provide the goods when it comes to yoga opportunities. Hokai, so I suggest if you like the sound of me and think we will be a fit, contact me, we will chat over Skype or FaceTime if you’re an iPhone owner. It will be be helpful to get a gauge of each other and then we can discuss the more nitty gritty things, move in dates, leasing agreements, proof of identity etcetera etcetera. Also, just so nobody is screwing each other around please mention what type of kettle you have so that I know you have actually read of the important stuff. Bonus facts below: If I turn my head and look over to my mini bookshelf I can currently see these books (I have GREAT eyesight, I’m oddly proud of this considering it is outside of my control): Freedom in the Making of Western Culture Letting Go Clarity Captivating 12 Rules for Life Roald Dahl Treasury Yin Yoga The Tree of Yoga The Bible Anatomy of Stretching My most listened to podcasts are: The Joe Rogan Experience Waking Up with Sam Harris The Tim Ferriss Show Skeptic Tank with Ari Shafir Favourite youtube channels: Killtony David Dobrik Jenna Marbles Dolan Twins Emma Chamberlain H3H3 Cody Ko Daily Dose of Internet
Hey! I’m polite and respectful of your space but am always up for a chat if you want one. I’m clean and tidy, single and quiet. Work part time but not going to be coming/ going at crazy hours. For fun I like travel, brunch, watching movies and seeing friends and family.
Hi, I’m a 25 year old female who has been working full time in nunawading at a furniture store, I stepped up in my position at the start of the year and have traveled back and fourth between Melbourne and Traralgon for this long! I’m hardly home since I’m very social going out most weekends but also working every second weekend. My partner Tristan works doing temporary work and has been placed in Blackburn till early next year so he will stay will me temporarily that’s why my profile says couple. I’ve done share houses before and I’ve enjoyed them every time. I am very outgoing and enjoy traveling a lot that’s why I will only do no more then 6 months at a time cause I’m spontaneous and like to up and leave throughout the year :)
Hey guys I'm Aelia :) I'm 27 and working as a makeup artist full time in Chadstone so have pretty sporadic hours but when i'm home I love to cook and have a few wines. I have a very excitable personality and love to chat but in saying that am super happy chilling by myself most of the time. I'm very clean especially in the kitchen and would love someone who has the same mindset and I'm very organised with money so will always pay rent/bills on time. Looking to share with preferably one other person (no gender preferance) as have been living in a large share house so looking for a bit more space but would be happy in a 3bedroom with the right space/people ☺️ must be 420 friendly Would love to be out of my place by 15th December if possible so let me know if you have a room i can come check out and look forward to meeting you!
Hi future flatmate! I've lived in shared-house for so many years so I understand the concept of sharing the space with others. I consider myself a clean, easy going, respectful and responsible person. I like to keep to myself most of the time but also enjoy having a fun and relaxing atmosphere at home. During the week, I'm pretty busy working in the CBD, going to the gym/pool after work and like to hang out with friends, family on the weekends. Love to cook sometimes and happy to share good food with my housemate. Am not a party animal and like quiet nights during the week. I've got most of the furniture for 2 bedrooms unit so you might not have to buy any extras. But if you like to bring your things, I am happy to put mine in storage. I'm looking to share a lease with another person who've got good references and happy to apply with me. Looking forward to sharing a lease with like-minded people.
I am quiet and usually don't like making a lot of noise. Usually, I will try my best to be considerate and not disturb other people inside the house. I am also a gamer so if my flatmates want to make a LAN party, count me in. As a clean maniac, I always make sure the place is as clean as possible, however, I'm also lazy, so I only do that when I get assigned to clean for that day :)). But generally, I still try to keep the commonplace such as kitchen or living room clean anyway.
My name is Jesse and I am a Canadian on a working holiday visiting my sister that lives in Melbourne. I am clean and tidy, generally quiet but enjoy hanging out and socializing. I am currently looking for part time work for my time here. I enjoying cooking meals don't mind sharing.
Hi! I am looking to move out early 2019 or March 2019 when I begin my Masters of Librarianship. I will be studying online so I am looking for a place close to my current job and somewhere I would feel comfortable. I'm pretty quiet until you get to know me and I prefer to spend my nights in than partying (although, I do love a bourbon and coke). I would love to move in with accepting flatmates, personally I am a Asexual Lesbian.
Hello! Im Brooke and I’m 20 years of age. I am currently a third year student studying a double major in tourism and events management and marketing. I study externally so when I am not studying I will be working. During the week I like to lay low or go out on the causal dinner or coffee date with friends. Occasionally on the weekends I like to find cool spots to have drinks and socialise, I love meeting new people! I also enough going to events such a festivals from time to time. I like to stay moderately healthy and go to the gym when I’m motivated haha! Untimely I would love to find a modern rental appartment close to Melbourne CBD. I am living in Perth currently but I am wanting to move anytime in January.
-I’m originally from Wollongong NSW just over a year and a half ago I moved to Sydney for work and while Sydney’s great I recently decided that I wanted a change and moving to Melbourne is the perfect oppportunity for that. - I won’t be able to get anytime off between now and feb. so I getting in early looking for a place as I won’t be in Melbourne till the end of January. -I’m an Assistant Store Manager for a department store and I love it. However it means I tend to work long irregular hours. Ranging from early starts to late finishes. - I’ll be working in the CBD around the docklands area. So I’m looking for anywhere surrounding with max driving distance 30minutes or close by public transport. -When I’m off I tend to be a homebody I love simple nights at home cooking dinner and catching up on Netflix shows or reading and of course a glass of wine. -I always make a point to clean up after myself and expect others to do the same. Cleaning is a shared task and anyone I live with needs to respect that. -I’m basically just looking for a home.
Hellooo, going on 23 year old female who is very outgoing, happy and easy to get along with. Due to being female I'm also relatively clean!! I work in construction usually 6.30 -5.00PM work schedule Mon-Fri/Sat. Into sports and being outdoors and active on the weekends when not working, always try to make the most of the good weather when its about! I play rugby so that's usually half my weekend, and when not doing all of the above it could having a pint or two with some friends or testing out every option on the uber eats menu and watching Netflix. Have been living in share houses of the last 4 years so I fully understand the operations of living and respecting other housemates! Always happy to socialise but respecting others who want to have more of their own time. Not looking for a room until 4/5ish December, anywhere around/after that date. I'm currently living in Perth and moving over and don't really have many contacts in Melbourne, so house share is the way to go I believe. I also don't really know the Melbourne area all that well, but looking to stay relatively close to East of the city. Do get in contact if you have anything available around those dates and I can work in with it! Let me know if you want any more info also! Thanks, Georgia!
hi, my names aaron, 36 year old project manager looking for a share house. im pretty quiet and work afternoon shift. very neat and tidey and considerate of other privacy and space. if interested, let me know and if you d like to ask me any questions :) cheers aaron
Hey Everyone! Chad here or some have referred to me as Chadwick at tines 😂 I'm a full time working professional in the financial services sector. I'm the perfect blend of responsible, fun and spontaneous. The great news is that I'm even house-trained and incredibly easy to live with - you might even describe it as 'too good to be true' because I'm always neat, clean, respectful and very mindful of personal space and boundaries. I go to the gym 4-5 times per week and I enjoy leading a healthy life but don't get me wrong I definitely love to eat as well so you might have to help me tame my menu log/Uber eats addiction at times. My ideal future housemate would be working full time or part time, financially stable and up for City and inner suburb adventures, dinners out or cosey nights in. Since we'll be living together I'd love it if they were respectful, honest and paid rent on time. Definitely bonus points if you can cook or play an instrument but that certainly isn't the expectation and everyone is welcome to message if you think we'd get along. At the end of the day if you are looking for a safe, responsible yet fun house/flat then let's meet up for a light snack or refreshing beverage and see how we get along. Thanks for your time and for reading this in advance. Many thanks, Chad
I consider myself to be relatively grown up and fairly mature, so I usually can take care and responsibility for myself, as well as consider the needs of others. Currently, I am studying Counselling and Psychology, because I needed a career change. Quiet, social, easy to get along with, and typically hang out a lot in Bikram Yoga studios or at 5 Rhythm Dance or the like... oh... and I have no idea why my profile picture is hanging upside down...
Hey everyone! I am tidy, considerate and friendly girl, looking for at least a year or so cause moving is such a hassle. I like going out for a few drinks and being social, but also love staying in for a good Netflix binge. I always pay bills on time, sharehouse trained and can definitely adult. I'm currently working in pathology and studying part time. Please no share room messages!
I'm in my fourth year at Monash studying a double degree in Music Composition and Arts. I like to go to a couple of gigs most weeks but also love to cook and have a night in reading at home. I've come from quite a communal share-house so would be keen to pitch in with household stuff.
Hey! I’m Caity and I’m moving to Melbourne end of January! I’m looking for 6 months with potential to stay indefinitely if I like it. I’m a pretty flexible housemate and tend to match my style to the people I live with. I keep communal areas clean & tidy but am not going to nag you if you leave the dishes for a day or two. I’m a bit of a workaholic but enjoy my downtime over a glass of wine, baking, going to the beach/for a hike, or spending my days off watching Netflix. And I’m always down for a night out! I am after my own (unfurnished) room, preferably in a furnished house. I’d prefer my own bathroom but happy to share. I also bake cupcakes and cookies and you are more than welcome to help me eat them! (:
Awesome rooftop terrace living in a fully-equipped, modern, bright and homely apartment. Looking for an awesome single person or couple to come and join me :) Located in the West of Hawthorn (Yarra side) the house is perfectly positioned amidst all the action whilst being in a very green, pleasant neighbourhood. Trams are on the doorstep, with Hawthorn train station also a 10 minute stroll away - just 2 stops from Richmond and 3 stops to the city. Or if biking is your thang, then the Yarra River track is super handy/scenic. The apartment itself is real cool - like a secluded rooftop with spacious terrace - perfect for BBQs in the summer and catching some sun. The glass doors open fully which extends the apartment out and it's full of light and fresh air. The bedroom (unfurnished) is modern, light and spacious with built in double wardrobes and desk. Bathroom is stylish and has a great shower and this will be shared with me, with a separate toilet and laundry. Kitchen comes with all the modern appliances, plus a dishwasher, which is always a bonus! Place includes an on-street parking space with your name on it and high-speed, unlimited Wifi included. I'm also completely furnishing the place at the moment so you will have the luxury of BRAND NEW everything. Lucky you!
