Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am looking for a new place to call home. Currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years. I have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house or finding a nice granny flat etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, washing machine, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly a lazy indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, gardening, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
Hi future housemates! I am moving to Brisbane in February. I'm a physiotherapy student studying my 4th and final year! I will be working as a physiotherapist in hospitals around Brisbane finishing my uni clinical placements, as well as a gymnastics coach. I am a friendly, upbeat person, always up for a chat, a Neflix/Friends/Grey's Anatomy sesh, a casual glass or two of wine and maybe a fun night out, but I also like my personal space. I like going to the gym, cooking, shopping, exploring, or going to the beach. I am always respectful, mindful of my fellow housemates, clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, no children, no pets (but I love dogs) I have a great previous rental history and have done the whole house share thing so the do's and don'ts. Looking somewhere to live somewhere $200-250 close to the CBD/North of the River with a nice homely feel. I would prefer a housemate/s to be of similar age, female or co-ed. I will be moving to a new city so and don't know anyone so being able to build a friendship and a home not just somewhere to sleep would be an added bonus! Furniture wise I have a fridge, some bedroom furniture, TV and a heap of kitchen stuff. The ideal place would be a nice apartment/house, with my own room big enough to fit a Queen bed and own bathroom, AC, parking, close to public transport, a balcony perfect for drinking wine on and a supermarket nearby.
My name is Magda, I have recently moved to Australia with my boyfriend Maciek. We are both engineers from Poland, both of us are very friendly, like cooking and keep the apartment tidy. We respect our and our flatmates' privacy, but also enjoy a chat or a beer together. We are 24 years old and currently looking for a job in Brisbane.

Ducted aircon throughout zoned to each room of the house, large share bathroom with bath tub - seperate shower and only few minutes drive to the domestic and international airport or DFO shopping precinct. LGBTQ friendly household :)
I am Australian but have been living in the USA, Italy and the UK for many years...I have come home to assist my elderly parents as they have both been ill and have extended my stay to be close to them while they recover. I am super easy going... I enjoy walking and shopping, sometimes eating out but I mostly cook my meals at home. I like to watch tv and zone out....pretty normal stuff... I don't smoke or drink. No party houses please. Furnished rooms only.

Works 5 days, plays guitar, owns some gym equipment, owns mowing equipment, exercises regularly, has car and drivers license, casual drinker and smoker. Looking to move, mid February.
Hi guys, I work in the city. Will be starting my second job in February so I need to stay somewhere close to the city. On weekends I spend time with my daughter as she lives with her grandmother because I have a busy work schedule. I will be quiet all the time. I like to be active so I'll probably be out of the house on the weekends and I'll probably be reading in my room or going to bed early most nights. I like to cook and clean :)
Our house is modern, clean and welcoming. There is plenty of space to enjoy your own time or join in with us. Your bedroom can fit a Queen bed (one available if you don’t have one) and has built ins. We have ceiling fans and deducted air conditioning. We have a pool and a low maintenance yard. We have a couple of silky chickens. We are close to clayfield shops and restaurants. DFO and Toombul Shopping Centre are only a short drive. We are also a short distance to the airport. Walking distance to train stations Hendra, Clayfield and Eagle Junction and short walk to buses. We are in EJSS catchment and walking distance to Clayfield College and Aviation High School. If you have children happy to renegotiate rent and offer a second room. The street is quiet, although we live beside the train line. It’s the Doomben line, trains run m-f first train 5:40am and last train about 8:10pm, the trains don’t run through the night so they don’t bother us. Saturday’s they run hourly from about 7am or 8am till about 5pm or so (for accuracy please refer translink website) and generally no trains on sundays.
Hey there! My name's Siobhan, I'm a full time high school teacher looking to move somewhere to make my commute less og a pain. I can cook and clean, love video games, respect the need for privacy and down time- but still love a cheeky wine and cheese. As is the nature with contract teaching, I have to wait until after the end of January for my contract to be secure for the year, and for me to then be comfortable with moving out. I have no qualms about pets, and am looking for a relaxed place to call my own.
I work evenings, and while that might be objectively great for you, it kinda sucks to be honest. Although, I do see a sunrise every day. *glass becomes half-full* I enjoy cooking but lately I tend to cook bulk, easy meals in order maintain max-sleep intake. I enjoy reading and gaming in my spare time. I also like to paint and write but I dare say I won't share much of that with you. Also music, good chats and the occasional 'frothie are, for the most part welcome. I enjoy walking other peoples dogs, and keeping their cats in my room without telling them. I don't enjoy ranting about politics or criticizing journo's on the news (but i do it anyway).
I'm a 28 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism, while also a producer and reporter. Looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age as I'm someone who has their life together with clear goals and aspirations in life. In the downtime, I'm a dancer, big CrossFit enthusiast, a passionate writer and more importantly, a fun laidback guy who enjoys beer, some buffalo wild wings and either a karaoke machine or some NFL. I'm also well-travelled having lived in New York for a year. If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
I'm very clean and quite. Respectful of others space. I like to be sociable but also enjoy my own time. Love watching movies etc going for breakfast. My cats name is Memphis and he is also very clean and house trained and an absolute gentleman. He's 15yrs so most of his time he is sleeping lol. I have full time work. On my days off I like to chill and watch Netflix
Hi there, I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. I also come with a 4 year old border collie, Jack. He is super relaxed and quiet but loves a good old pat. 100% an outside dog with no chewing or digging. He's the best! I am hoping to team-up with one other to create a relaxed and enjoyable houseshare. I you've any queries of me, be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then, I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).

I can keep to myself, I tend to get along with anyone i meet. I have good taste in music and am willing to listen to anyone play an acoustic guitar for any length of time as long as you play wonder wall at least once. Been living in Brisbane a year and a bit now, study at QUT Gardens Point (BGIE). I can roll with being your mate or just being two ships passing in the halls of our abode, pretty easy going.
