The room is available for Commuters only. From Monday afternoons to Friday mornings for $150 per week. You are welcome to bring your own bed. The room has a built in wardrobe. If you are looking for a place to live during the week please contact me. The house is a private residence. Look forward to hearing from you to provide more information on the layout. Kind regards Patricia
Our house is modern, clean and welcoming. There is plenty of space to enjoy your own time or join in with us (2nd lounge, office and balcony). There is one large bedroom available and furnished if required. It has built in shelving and wardrobes. We have ceiling fans and ducted air conditioning. The bathroom will be shared with 1 other (36yo) flatmate. There is a possibility of an off street park if you have a small car. We have a pool and a low maintenance yard. We are close to clayfield shops and restaurants. DFO and Toombul Shopping Centre are only a short drive. We are also a short distance to the airport. Walking distance to train stations Hendra, Clayfield and Eagle Junction and short walk to buses. The street is quiet, although we live beside the train line. It’s the Doomben line, trains run m-f first train 5:40am and last train about 8:10pm, the trains don’t run through the night so they don’t bother us. Saturday’s they run hourly from about 8am till about 5pm or so (for accuracy please refer translink website) and generally no trains on Sundays.
Hello :) Zack and Marissa here. Here is a little about both of us however we are much more fun and interesting in person! Zack is 24 years old, born and raised in Canada he met Marissa (24yo) when she packed her life up after graduating from University in Brisbane and moved across to the other side of the world where over two years ago laid her eyes on Zack drinking a beer, playing pool with his friends in one of the only two pubs in the tiny town of Revelstoke, BC, Canada. A friendship blossomed and so did a romance that has now existed in two countries all because Zack followed his heart and his girl back to where she was raised leading us to this moment here. Finding a house to co exist together with other awesome people! Now to the boring part - standard information about us right now here in Brisbane: ** we do not smoke and we don't party. We do like a drink or two on our days off. Marissa - Works full time as a studio photographer for a womens online fashion company during the week. Bartends on the weekend. Loves watching Netflix on her down time but also loves picking up a good book. Likes to have a glass of wine at the end of the week. Loves to keep the kitchen clean. Zachary - Also works full time as a cook. His shifts leave him out of the house 10am-10pm 5 days a week. He holds up the classic 'nice' Canadian stereotype to the tee. He loves having a couple of beers, playing some video games and going to the gym in his spare time. We have been living together for almost two years in Canada. We are technically a couple but we are completely individual people when it comes to personality and relationship. We like to have our own friends and do things apart. We don't live out of each others pockets like a lot of couples. We hardly see each other with our work schedules but we don't mind as we are working for our future as we have goals to achieve. When we do get a day off rarely together we like to hang out with our friends, hit the bowling ally get some good food and we 'maybe' (there is no maybe we do) also hit the arcade to have a good laugh. We love having good room mates where we can form a friendship, have board game nights, movie nights, cooking themed dinner nights but we also understand privacy and individual time out. We can not wait to hear from you! Zack and Marissa
This two story townhouse, sits in a quiet pocket of Hendra, a short walk to bus 300, to city and Southbank. Close to Nudgee rd, a walk to toombull and Coles. The room is comfortable, with own bathroom, it is private, freshly painted, furnished and very clean. This townhouse adjoins healthworks gym with pool. I am a 60 Female, prefer a female, who enjoys a certain amount of peace around the home, but love a chat, and music. Super Tv, netflix, wifi, all amenities.
Hi there! That's me on the left. In Vanuatu, ANZAC day 2018. Single bloke in my mid 50's looking for a quiet and welcoming place to call home in Brisbane - preferably with only one other house mate. Is this your place? I'll pay good money to come home to somewhere homely and quiet. After space for a home office as well as a bedroom. I'm qualified in engineering and secondary education, and you could say I've traveled a bit. I do Pilates and bike riding to keep fit - and scuba diving when time allows. I'm a practicing Christian. Past AirBnB references invariably describe me as being "tidy" and "quiet" which I really hope doesn't mean "innocuous" - but I suspect it does. Don't mind small kids if you have one or two - or if they visit - since mine have now grown up. I've been between Townsville and Brisbane for the last year but I will be based solely in Brisbane from June. Have a place of my own out bush so I'll be away every fourth weekend or so. My girlfriend from interstate will visit from time to time. Happy to cook up a shared meal now and then. Happy to chip in for a cleaner. I have a cat who belonged to my late partner - while I'm fundamentally a dog person I'll be keeping this particular pussycat because we've become attached. Ed
Hey I’m Taylah! I’m 19 years old and I am currently studying law and business (honours) at QUT. I also work part time in Ascot. I have lived on my own for a year and a half, so I know a bit about what it’s like to live in a shared house. I’m also super neat and tidy (essentially OCD). I am definitely an introverted extrovert, I’m always down for a chat, but I also love PJ days curled up in bed with a book (or three). I am an aspirational plant-mum 🌱 and I love to cook whenever I get the chance (and I would LOVE a big ol’ kitchen so I can bake up a storm on my days off!). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📕 Because I’m still studying, it would be amazing to have a room big enough for me to squeeze in a desk (and maybe a couple of books). 🚘 Ideally I’m looking for somewhere around Ascot/Hamilton or Nundah to be close to work. I’d also love to live somewhere close to public transport and/or somewhere with parking (onstreet or off). 💙 I have furniture that I’ve bought (brand new) over my last tenancy that I can potentially bring to my new apartment (lounge, washing machine, fridge, TV etc.) if wanted/needed at all! 🐱 I have a small (2 - 4 kg) ginger cat called Phoenix. He’s a rescue, so while he’s super sweet, he’s also very shy. His favourite spot is literally my closet (which he doesn’t really leave except to eat and for cuddles). He’s very sweet and super lovable. Thanks so much for reading through all of that. Shoot me a message if you’d be interested in having me as a housemate!
I am 25, not a huge party person but do enjoy catching up with friends at bars or on the back deck. Positive personality, tidy and chill. Easy going, tidy, easy to chat to and open. Enjoy being active and getting out of the house.
Hey future flatmates! I’m currently studying nursing full time and working part time in retail. I love to keep fit and enjoy the outdoors. I’m looking for a place in and around the city, I’m clean and respectful, just hoping to find a nice, friendly, clean place to live!
Both myself and my partner are from Philippines and are 26 and 25 years old. I'm currently studying partime with my masters degree as well as working partime with Coles. As for my partner, she works in the airport and mostly spends her time at work. Both of us are non-alcoholic drinkers and both doesnt smoke as well. We also dont go to night outs as it is not really our type of thing 😊. We both are clean freaks and love to socialize as well as respecting others' privacy and lifestyle 😁
Hi, name's Aaron. 23 year old single fella who works in the hospitality industry as a full time bar manager. I generally spend at least half of a day outside the house for work and to gather resources, and the other half being a hermit inside my private quarters. I have been known to make appearances on rare occasions but hey, if I find the right people we can all be buddies :) Flexible on the move in date also. My sense of humour knows no boundary.
