Reliable with rent etc, easy going, tidy, like a chat and a drink with flatmates once in a while but also value my space, and is respectful of other's space. Would prefer to rent with one or two other people. I'm looking to rent a spacious, furnished or partially furnished room.
My name is Marlon. I am from belgium. I study and work in Brisbane. I love this city and its surroundings. I like to socialize it is why I would like to find a place with interesting people who appreciate to have a drink from time to time or go to the beach.
Hello guys :) I'm a 23 years old post-grad student from Munich. I'm looking for a flat with sociable, young (20s or 30s) and easy-going flatmates who would be in for sometimes having dinner, watching a movie or drinking a coffee/beer/wine together. I'm studying at UQ for this Semester and unfortunately I have to leave already at the 1st of July. Since I started to study 7 years ago I lived always in a shared flat, I just like to have people around to whom you say more than just "hello". I like to do sports and I would like to travel on some days to see the Gold or the Sunshine Coast. I've been already 3 times abroad from Germany for a longer time - I studied in Portugal for 2 Semesters (which was the best experience I could have made) , 1 semester in England and I worked in the US for a couple of months. Everywhere I lived in flats with wonderful, open-minded people and with most of them I became close friends. If someone of you is searching a flatmate like me and if it is okay for you that I just can stay for 4 months, I would be more than happy to meet you guys! :) Thank you, Richard
I'm an international student of International Business, a tennis player, an animal lover (most of them), an easy-going person who enjoys spending time with her friends, and really tidy and great person.
So many great things about this property. Location, location, location. We are within a 5 minute walk to the bus on Gladstone Rd. We are 10 minute walk to the South Bank Train Station. 15 minute walk and you are in the South Bank Precinct and just across the river to the city. Bus and Ferry access to UQ and easy walk to QUT. West End shops and cafe - 15 min walk. The unit faces North so we get a great breeze - not to mention the stunning views across to the city - great for the fireworks. The unit is fully equipped and furnished. It is in a small complex and all very friendly. the room I am renting opens onto a lovely little courtyard.
We have a pool in the complex, you will have your own balcony as well as a shared balcony attached to the living room. There's air-conditioning in the living room as well :) Shared kitchen; electric stove, oven, fridge. There's a washing machine and a dryer. You will definitely have your own bathroom, however, it's not an en suite. There's a single bed and built-in closet in your bedroom as it is partly furnished, you can also add a table in there as there's some space left for a table or other of your own furnitures :) It is 6-8minutes walk to the West End ferry and there are two bus stops close by. If you're getting to UQ, it's not that far since it's just across the river and around 15-20 on the ferry. There's a park adjacent to the unit with a playground/bbq/bus stop; the area is mostly quiet and as we are at the edge of the river, the weather is pretty cool with the wind :) However this unit is in front so unfortunately we are not overlooking the river.
Recently graduated engineer working in the CBD. Love to gym, play soccer and touch, cook and watch movies. I am neat, organised and great at dishwashing lol.
Looking for someone to join me in this newly renovated art deco apartment, on a quiet cul-de-sac between West End and South Bank (less than 10 minutes walk to either). The 196 bus also stops at the end of our street. The flat has polished wooden floors, ceiling fans, a large balcony with view, and modern kitchen and bathroom. Comes with all appliances including dishwasher, washer-dryer combo, BBQ, smart TV with Foxtel, Netflix and Stan. Large gardens and lawn which we share with our friendly neighbours from the other six units. Street parking only but we have a very sturdy bike shed. Viewing available from 24 February.
Warm, generous and kind. Easy to live with, I have just started my professional job after graduating from QUT last year. I have lived out of home for a while and keep the space tidy and am respectful of my housies. Looking for one other young housemate to share a place with. I love getting out and about in Brisbane, rockclimbing, scuba diving and beaching on the weekends.
Hi future flat mate! I'm Christian from Germany and in Brisbane for my semester abroad at QUT Botanic Garden - I'm single, tidy, friendly, non-smoker and enjoying life. Just text me! Cheers, Christian :)
"You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with" Jim Rohn. So, I'm looking to live with like-minded legends. - Mature, self-aware, respectful & ego-free communication (no issues with noise, mess, negative drama, etc) - Healthy lifestyle and nutrition - Can be found in the ocean or mountains at any opportunity - Goal-orientated. Never bored. Growth and contribution mindset (non-fiction literature, nutrition & training, psychology & philosophy, social sciences, technology, Brazilian jiu jitsu, acroyoga, meditation, languages, vagabonding, etc) - Independent thinker, not a sheep. Prefer almost no commercial TV. (intentional entertainment is sweet, but 24/7 ads and lowest-common-denominator shows polluting our castle aint so sweet). As Josh Waitzkin says, "I cultivate empty space as a way of life for the creative process".
We are looking for a new lovely housemate to fill our lovely house. It is really well located (next to Southbank Bus and Train Station, 7 mins walking from the Southbank beach and 8 mins walking from coles super market in West End). About us? We are from different nationalities working in Australia. We like to hang out, watch some movies, cook dinner together sometimes and relax. We also have a projector where we can watch movies/series during at any time. The rent is 170 p/w and all the bills are included, we also have a cleaner that comes EVERY week to clean the common areas, the room is FULLY furnished. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an easy-going person, clean, who likes to socialize, meeting new people and have fun. Send me a text telling me about yourself if you are interested.
Hello, my name's Helen, I'm an Aussie girl in my 20's. I'm friendly, considerate, tidy, easy-going and quiet. Enjoy chatting but also am aware of personal boundaries. I don't smoke, own any pets or eat meat - but I am not phased at all if my housemates do :) I enjoy going to movies, nature walks, drawing, markets, learning about nutrition and playing my keyboard every now and then (with headphones ;) ) I have my own bedroom furniture and am hoping to find a harmonious household that I can call home for at least 6 months. Thanks for reading! :)
I am a 23-years-old girl from Spain, who is going to study a 1.5-year Master on International Law in the University of Queensland. I believe that each person doing small things can make a difference. I am very open-minded, respectful, adaptable and clean. I am spontaneous person and prefer not to have everything planned. I love meeting new people, especially from different countries and cultures and learn from them. Travelling is my greatest passion and I love sharing my bagpacking stories. I am learning how to play the guitar and also photography and I would like to keep up with it in Australia. I have been doing various sports and dancing my whole life and since two years ago I am into yoga and I love it. I like cities because there are always many things to do and cultural events going on, but I also need sometimes to leave into a more calm place to connect with nature and especially I like going to the sea. Music lover, books eater and beggining of a writter. I am also a good cooker of Spanish food and I like to make meals with my flatmates. I would like to live not too far from the UQ in a vivid area and with more than one flatmate.
Hi sister, I hope you're having a beautiful day. Me and my partner are back in Brisbane after a month travelling and we are looking for a room. I would love to tell you a bit more about us: I am Mexican, 23, and currently studying music production and philosophy at UQ, doing rock climbing and working part time in Brisbane. Ryan 21, meditation and yoga practitioner, English man on his working holiday visa. We both are interested in meditation, spirituality, sports, health living, nature, community, arts, music, festivals, etc. We are looking for a place that we can call home. also looking for a 'tribe' of like minded individuals, because we believe that the energy that we create within a space is very important. We'd love to see your space and keen to move immediately 🙂 Much love.
Always the lifeblood of my team because I have a nack for making people happy and proud of being human. But can isolate myself if the environment is hostile. Have associated with people of diverse backgrounds and have learnt to respect and accept individual differences as a veritable and essential component of living
I am a clean, upbeat, and quiet lady who is more than content in my room doing my own thing. I work part time and to save hard for one last Europe or America round trip. I am a very friendly person, if not shy to begin with, but once you have me as a friend I am glue and there for you through thick and thin. I come with a plus one; A little year old Calico kitten called Jenga, so pet friendly house have to be must. She is fine with dogs (except puppies for some reason) and loves people. Fully trained with adorable quirks.

Hi, I'm here for the semester at UQ studying tropical ecology. I'd like to find a room not too far from the university or from stuff to do in town. I am easy going, quiet, and independent but I like hanging out with people too. I like photography, gardening, and traveling, and I hope to do some of that here in Brisbane. Let me know if you think I am a suitable fit for your house!
Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind - as long as you tidy up sometimes). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my future 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. However I would partake in the occasion drink of a night time with my room mates. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move in April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
I am friendly, easy-going and always clean up after myself! I enjoy meeting new people so I am looking to move into a house with some lovely people who share similar traits. I'm currently undertaking my PhD at UQ while working casually at Biome Eco Stores. In my spare time, I like to go to local farmers markets, drink coffee, pat dogs and chill out with friends. I'm also a vegetarian but I am happy to live with carnivores! I'm looking to move around the beginning of April but this date is negotiable :)
Great student accommodation available in 4 bedroom house in Highgate Hill. Spacious house with large verandah. Air- conditioned and ceiling fans in most rooms. Clean and tidy house. 2 mins walk to bus stop for Brisbane CBD & UQ. Friendly landlords.
Fantastic house in quiet, green pocket so close to the city, Southbank and West End. Close to QUT, UQ and Griffith (Southbank). Close to bus and train points. House is modern with aircon (included in rent) and beautiful furniture. Just bring yourself and your personal items!
Hello! We just arrived in Brisbane and now looking for a place to call home the next few months! We are both from the Netherlands and what got us here?! Well, my boyfriend (Johannes) is now studying at the The University Of Queensland and I'm looking for a temporary job. We are 25 years old and no big party animals. We like to socialise and interact and go for a drink once in a while. Besides that we like to be on our own sometimes, as we all do. We like to keep communal areas clean and respect other people's spaces. So we prefer a clean and tidy place to live in. In our free time we like to travel, go to the beach, do some sightseeing, read and/or go for a drink in the city :)
im a friendly swedish woman who likes yoga, bicycling, nature walks and food. working full time as receptionist evening time and at a river cruise a few afternoons every week. i live in west end in a share house but my roomies will leave soon and i am now looking for a new place to stay.
Dreaming of hangs on the porch couch with my future roomies looking out at our pet chickens and veggie patch attempts. I am a friendly, easy-going and respectful gal. Looking for a home rather than a house. Maybe a few housemate dinners and bants here and there. Would love to contribute to a tidy, good vibes place Beginning an Arts degree at UQ this year after several years of working for The Man and gallivanting across the globe. You will generally find me drawing hearts on coffees at QUT. I appreciate the joys of a Zooper Dooper on a Sunday, market friend dates and a good Indian curry. Note - I own more cushions than furniture. I believe the more house plants the better. Food is life. Feel free to message if you have any more questions!
