Hey everyone! I am looking for a place in inner Brisbane. My current house is on a busy road so prefer somewhere that's away from traffic. Working as a digital marketer Mon - Fri. My hobbies include going to the gym, shopping, exploring new places in the weekend, art, and I am a classical musician. I clean up after myself and living in a clean hygienic environment is important to me. Requirements: - Unfurnished bedroom - I own a couch, microwave and fridge - Prefer to live with females but open to other arrangements - Garage parking would be ideal but would be happy with off-street parking - I'm not a party person so my preference is a peaceful house where everyone does their own thing but get along well and have fun :) Feel free to message!
I am a French girl in Brisbane for a few months for my master thesis at UQ. I am rather a quiet person but I like hanging on and share a good time around a meal or in front of a movie. I am clean and tidy and responsible and ready to move in as soon as possible.
The room is bright and airy, has reverse-cycle air-conditioning, built-in wardrobe, and leafy views. The room is unfurnished and comfortably fits a queen-sized bed. The room is carpeted and very quiet, when your door is closed you won't hear noise from the other rooms or rest of the house. We are located on the river, just near Paradise Park and only a 10 minute walk to the Vulture/Boundary hub of West End. The area is very quiet and peaceful, the ideal escape from the bustle of West End. Our home is a 2-storey townhouse, with one bathroom downstairs and one upstairs. It has a warm and open vibe, with the living area opening onto a large deck surrounded by trees. The house is fully furnished, so you will only need to bring your bedroom furniture. We have a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer etc. Internet, gas and electricity bills are paid separate to the rent.
Hi there! I am an easy going kiwi lass, working as a primary teacher. I lead quite an active lifestyle and am often out and about (hiking, salsa, surfing, running, yoga...) but enjoy a bit of a chat over a few wines or shared meal when the occasion calls for it ;-) I am friendly, clean and tidy and respectful.
We are looking for a new lovely housemate to fill our lovely house. It is really well located (next to Southbank Bus and Train Station, 7 mins walking from the Southbank beach and 8 mins walking from coles super market in West End). About us? We are from different nationalities working in Australia. We like to hang out, watch some movies, cook dinner together sometimes and relax. We also have a projector where we can watch movies/series during at any time. The rent is 140 p/w and all the bills are included, we also have a cleaner that comes EVERY week to clean the common areas, the room is FULLY furnished. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an easy-going person, clean, who likes to socialize, meeting new people and have fun. Send me a text telling me about yourself if you are interested.
Hi there, I’m Thea a 22 year old music production student at SAE, I will be going onto a bachelor of Audio Engineering next year, I’m looking for a new home but at this point I am happy where I am I just would prefer to live in a house over a unit, I really am only browsing as I will need to my current roommate ample time to find someone if I do find some where else. My ideal space would be a large enough room for my studio equipment and my bed , a yard with trees and grass, with super chill roommates who are into music as much as me, as a music producer I some times need to make a bit of noise (at respectable hours of course!) I would love to have somewhere I can have a bit more freedom with my creativity and not be worried of pissing of the neighbours who are wall to wall , I’m also incredibly respectful and chill about this if anything’s ever to loud I’ll happily pop my headphones on, I love to be social but I’ll be honest I’m a huge introvert and often like to stay in my room and do my own thing, I’m also desperate to get a kitten and would love a pet friendly place, I love a night out or going to gigs or even just a chill night at home hanging out. I’m a bit eccentric, I’m a massive art, music and pop culture nerd. I’m super chill and easy going if anything I’m too chill I’m fairly new to Brisbane and would love to meet some like minded creative people Please feel free to contact me if your interested, as said before though I will need to give my roommate now ample time before I can actually move.
Clean, organised, reliable, easy going, friendly, open. Enjoys talking about how shit works, going to festivals, making people laugh and overeating. Has a large cooking and baking repertoire. Available for hugs after long days. I work full-time Monday-Friday for the government, and have a growing business teaching workshops and making/selling jewellery. Sometimes I coach on personal and professional development courses. Outside of those things I love both to stay active with gym/yoga and be a total sloth engaged only in Netflix/UberEats binges. Looking for a place that can accommodate my silversmithing studio (a room with adjoining sunroom/sleepout is ideal), and good people to share with. Happy to either slot into an existing sharehouse or team-up to start a new one.
A bit of us: We are in our early 30's both professionals working full time and with us our beloved cat 'Ben'. In our spare time at home we enjoy listening to good music and playing guitar, cooking, reading, having our hands in the soil and watching movies now and then. We love plants and would love to have a veggie/herbs garden in the balcony and the small front yard so if you know or want to learn more about organic gardening, permaculture and grow your own food you're more than welcome to be part of this project. We like sharing with people and it is common to have friends every now and then, not for big parties but to have a good chat and share some good food and drinks. We would like to create a home with like-minded people with common interests, values and committed to sharing responsibilities. Our third member of the family is Ben, a 6 years old very affectionate and adorable cat. He's very chilled and quiet. We are looking for one or maybe two people interested in teaming up with us to find our next house. The right housemate(s) would be a mature (between late 20s and 40s) very responsible person/people who has a sense of belonging to the place where she/he lives. Most importantly, we would like to share with someone with a positive attitude who can bring good energies to our home. Someone clean and tidy, respectful, friendly, easy-going, someone we can have a good communication with. Someone sociable who can enjoy sharing with us from time to time but also likes independence. Good music is always around (not loud though) so ideally our housemate enjoys music as much as we do. We would like to live with people with initiative, interested in creating a more conscious life in relation to their environment and other living beings including humans. This might be translated into actions such as using less plastic, having more ethical food choices, putting energy into having a more authentic communication and relationship with others. We are looking for a house with enough space for everybody, preferably in a quiet street or leafy area. A convenient location close to public transport and local markets if possible. A small garden to learn, to observe, contemplate plants and of course grow our herbs and veggies. This would be ideal but we are flexible and can adapt to smaller places. If this sounds like something that you are looking for send us a message to have a chat and let us know and let's start from there. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi! I’m looking to create a cosy home (complete with veggie patch and indoor plant friends) with 1 – 2 other housemates. I’ve got a long history of sharehouses so I’m pretty well-trained in the communication and cleaning-up-after-myself department. I’m not a huge neat freak, but I definitely like a tidy house, especially in the kitchen. I work full time and am quiet during the week. I enjoy cooking and watching cringe reality TV. I would love to get into gardening (after being in apartments for the last 3 years). I’ll happily listen about your bad day over a glass of wine but I hope we can respect each other’s need for space and downtime. Ideally I would like to live with people who are community-minded and might be on board with trying a bit of sustainability. While I'm personally looking for somewhere to settle down long-term, I don't mind if you're not - as long as you're happy to sign the lease with me. I'm looking to start a new sharehouse as I've slowly accumulated most of the furniture and household items required. Totally OK if you have heaps of furniture too - we can chat about it since I'm happy to offload older stuff and would like a place with heaps of underhouse storage anyway. I have a 1-year-old cat, Patricia (Patty). She is a devon rex with a fine coat - so meant to be hypoallergenic. I have a moderate cat allergy and have no problem with her. She’s the weirdest, best little cat ever. I only expect a housemate to merely tolerate Patty’s presence, but it would be fun to find someone equally as obsessed with her. Patty is an indoor cat, so it’s pretty important that I find a place where it’s easy to keep her contained. Now I’ve written a long para about my cat, sorry!!! Look forward to meeting future housemates :)
I’m Amelia, I’m a 19 year old student at UQ, I work part time at the PA hospital, and I have a lovely little cat called Carrie. We are both very clean, organised, friendly girls looking for a sharehouse. I would love to live in an all female house but I’m open to mixed. I am easy to live with, very clean, not home super often due to work and uni but would love roommates I can be friends with and socialise with when I am here. I really enjoy music, films, yoga, reading, and history. Carrie is an indoor cat at the moment so a relatively contained unit/flat would work wonders, or somewhere quiet/not too close to public transport. Don’t have a car yet (although working on it) so proximity to public transport mainly to uq St Lucia is a big priority. More than happy to meet over coffee for a chat! Available pretty much whenever.
Hi, I'm Astrid. I'm 21 years old and currently a psychology student at UQ. I'm clean, tidy, and an easy going person who really loves socialising and making new friends. Would love to have a chat while just chillin' in front of TV or having couples of wine while enjoying a dinner together, (or even when you need a company for a weekend getaway ;) ) but I highly value privacy and personal space as well. I also always pay my bills and rent on time (even sometimes a bit early). :D I'm looking for a place that could make me feel like home with people preferably from different multicultural background, as I'm down for new friends and experience!
I am a fulltime Software Engineer working for the Queensland Government. I am personally a quite person, that enjoys time at the gym, reading, and going on hikes. I currently live in the Gold Coast and am looking to move somewhere closer to the city.
I will travel for the months of June and July, and I am looking for a single person or a couple to take care of my place. You need to be responsible, friendly, and clean. My place is a 1bd/1bath apartment, furnished, and in a green neighborhood. Walk into West End is just 10 minutes, and 192, 198, 199 bus stops are close by too. The place has a covered parking space. Fridge and washer and furnished. TV and internet connections are installed but I don’t use them. The rent is somewhat negotiable, too.
I am social, light-hearted and easy going. I like to have good vibes in the place I live and am always keen for a beer or a conversation. I enjoy social time with housemates and appreciate alone time as well. I recently moved from Sydney and am looking for a long term place to stay and some good people to stay with. I am a barista and work full time, and will be studying mid year. I am active, social, into fitness and outdoors, a musician, barista. I go out occasionally, and am interested in exploring all that Brisbane has to offer.

I'm a pretty easy going guy, I've travelled a fair bit, originally from London, lived in Auckland last seven years, moved to the sunny to be nearer to family. Clean and tidy, normally working alot, love the beach and a few beers, too old to be a party animal.
I'm a friendly international student, have no problem with English (not my first year studying in English), but do bring a bit an international twist (aka good coffee and exotic snacks now and then). Overall I get along with almost everyone, likes to be tidy but not over the top, and appreciate a chill social life.
Hi! My name is Sophie O'Reilly and I am a bubbly Australian who loves to make great chit-chat, as well as knuckling down to myself when studying and needing quiet time at home. I do prefer my spaces being clean however I not a neat-freak by any means. I do enjoy to get out and have fun, relax in the sun and go out on the standard weekend for a boogie. I am not a heavy drinker, nor do I drink to excess. When I am not studying, or playing sports i am usually working or wondering around the city
I am considerate, easy going, tidy, and a great cook (I love having house dinners). I make a mean pad thai and mexican enchiladas. I like to have chill evenings drinking beer or wine and love getting outdoors on weekends. After work I usually go for a run, go to yoga, or go to the climbing gym before dinner. I want to live in a relaxed household with open minded, kind, housemates (who recycle/try to be reasonably eco friendly). I don't take myself too seriously. I am from the US, but have lived in Townsville for 3.5 years. I'm moving to Brisbane to finish up my PhD in ecology, so my work is research and writing at uni full time.
Hi! I am looking to move relatively close to the city any time between now and the end of May. I’m currently working part time and studying to be a makeup artist. I enjoy having a glass of wine, reality tv binge and chats after work, but I respect the fact that everyone needs their alone time. Generally a home body but I do love to go out for coffee or a few cocktails on the weekends. I own a car so street parking is a must. I have a microwave, washing machine, kitchenware, dining table and chairs, and all of my own bedroom furniture (happy to put furniture into storage if there’s no room). I do like to keep things clean and organised but I’m pretty chill about having house rules. Would be happy to team up with one person or a group to find somewhere to live. Please message me if you’re interested!
Hi, my name is Mirko, I'm PhD student from Italy, looking for an accommodation from June to December 2018 around Brisbane. I'm clean and tidy, especially in communal areas, sociable and easy-going. I’m passionate about plants and nature and I Iove all kinds of outdoor activities. I usually move by bike or foot everywhere so I’d like to be quite near Brisbane city centre! (I’ll be studying at UQ in St Lucia and I’ve planned to get there by bike). I like socialising and know other lifestyles and traditions. I think I’ll have lot of free time, especially at the weekend (as a PhD student I don't have exams!). I’m pretty active and usually I don’t like to chill out, but I’d rather go out with friends, enjoy the city and explore the surroundings. I’ll be always available for a drink a walk or a dinner if you ask!
Hi there :) I'm a friendly but introverted girl looking for a comfy cozy place to live. I don't smoke and am responsible with my finances. My budget would be around $175 including bills. I'm thrifty, so the lower the better, but would be willing to consider a pricier place if it is of good value and comes with better company. Flexible with lease length, looking to move in before 13 May. I will only move into share houses with at least one female. Love pets but can't live with one at the moment as I have allergies. I just graduated with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons) from UQ, and am currently doing research work at UQ, so looking for some place nearby. I am happy to chat, share cooking and cleaning tasks, and go on weekend adventures. But I also crave privacy. On my days off I enjoy reading, watching films, and planning beach holidays. I love and respect both the arts and sciences, and would be keen to discuss poetry and books. Keen to hear from you, drop me a message to have a chat!
Hey, my name's Kerrie, I'm moving to Brisbane from England in June this year permanently and I'm hoping to find a cool and compatible roommate on here. I am an easy-going, mindful and clean person. I know how to give space and privacy but equally would enjoy a gin or two, movie night and chat. Would like to find a place with a bit of space, with a respectable roommate, preferably where we have some additional room to accommodate family and friends occasionally who may visit from the UK (once or twice a year at the most) Flexible with my move dates from June onwards. Please feel free to ask any further questions
