Master student from the Netherlands. I will be starting as a guest academic at University of Queensland from February 23rd onwards for approximately 8 to 9 months. I am a neat, tidy, organised and active person. During my stay, I would like to make the maximum out of my time in Australia.
We have a pool in the complex, you will have your own balcony as well as a shared balcony attached to the living room. There's air-conditioning in the living room as well :) Shared kitchen; electric stove, oven, fridge. There's a washing machine and a dyer. You will definitely have your own bathroom, however, it's not an en suite. There's a bed and closet in your bedroom as it is partly furnished :) It is 6-8minutes walk to the West End ferry and there are two bus stops close by. If you're getting to UQ, it's not that far since it's just across the river.
I laugh at my own jokes so you don't have to. Clean, tidy and sensible. Enjoy socialising and Friday afternoon drinks etc with housemates.
First year university student moving to Brisbane from Far North Queensland to start studying biomedical science at UQ. Just looking for a place, preferably furnished, where I can stay until June when I m going to be moving in with my sister. I don't mind parties but tend not to host them (so don't worry about that) and I spend a lot of time locked in my room trying force myself to study. I am however a sociable person and do enjoy a good discussion and can cook a few basics (I'm still learning). I consider myself mature and responsible, and will aim to keep the place tidy. I'm fairly friendly and outgoing but respect other people's privacy. I love to read, try to keep fit (but goodness knows I lack the motivation), and enjoy a variety of activities from hiking to binge watching Netflix. I'm very open minded and would love a flatmate or two who are nice and easy going.

Hey ! my name is Guillaume, I'm 28 from France working full time in Brisbane. I'm looking for a room in a house/flat share around. Easy to live with. I'm working full time and freelancing or doing sports during my free time.
Hello! I am looking to move to a new place in early Feb. I normally work full-time in the city from 8 to 4 but I am doing a fair bit of travel these days for a special assignment in regional QLD. Over the weekend, I normally catch-up with friends or relax at home reading a book or watching Netflix. I play indoor soccer on Sunday's afternoon. I also go out to Latin social dance parties. I love animals but highly prefer a pet free house. I don't smoke and expect the same from my flatmates. I love music, art, science and languages. I’m looking to share a space with tidy, social, joyous and respectful people.
Hows it goin, I'm Cory. I'm a Canadian from Vancouver studying kinesiology, and I'm doing an exchange at UQ for a term. Hobbies include drinkin beer, sports and music. Looking for a chill place to live in Bris from Mid feb to sometime in July. Preferably somewhere furnished, between UQ and the valley, I.e - Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, etc.
Hi. Im looking for a cosy spot to move into while I study at QUT. I'd love to move in with fun people. Im also up for occasional afternoon bevvies. I try to be nice and tidy where I live too.
Full time student on the Disability Support Pension awaiting an operation to get my body back into full swing. I need an unfurnished air conditioned room (although built-ins and clothes cupboards are fine), as I faint a bit from my medications, and so I can study with a fully working brain. I have bedroom furniture, a top loader laundry machine and a bar fridge for my meds and my Aromatherapy supplies as my degree is the study of Aromatherapy and the science behind it. I am passionate about my studies and create balms, lotions and perfumes often. Baby my Pussycat is very sweet, shy, and while a good rat hunter, she doesn't kill other wildlife. She is either hiding in the shade sleeping or hanging out with me, but sometimes she will get a crush on a flatmate and pay you loving attention. I am very mindful of cat hair as it makes me itchy, so I have a kick butt Dyson and I'm not afraid to use it. I don't do drugs and so don't want drugs in my home. I do love a cook up with the household and a drink to go with it. Ask if you want to know anything in particular. Thanks for looking at our blurb.

I am an honest, mature and reliable professional lady. I work for a corporate firm in the Brisbane CBD and tend to work longish hours during the weekdays. I enjoy my weekends as this is my time out. I like good conversations, watching movies and chillaxing. I am easy going and an all round nice person.
Hello! I am goofy 26 y.o gay professional working in Medical Imaging. Looking for a place to call home with some wonderful peeps! My current roommate has sadly moved OS to live and I have opted to not continue my current lease (which ends on the 6th of March) for a bit of a change. I am super easy going, clean ( but not OCD) and considerate. Would love to share a couple of beverages/ meals/good vibes, go for a hike or hit up the movies with the roomies. I like getting out and about, dabbling in crafts, hiking and keeping active. I do have to travel a bit between the GC + Sunshine coast for work, so I do have to be up and at 'em early fairly often. I am looking for an unfurnished room+ I do have a couple of other pieces of furniture ( fridge, chairs TV etc) that I can bring along with me. Please don't be afraid to ask any questions and I am happy to meet up for a coffee/drink. Cheers, Todd
"You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with" Jim Rohn. So, I'm looking to live with like-minded legends. - Mature, self-aware, respectful & ego-free communication (no issues with noise, mess, negative drama, etc) - Healthy lifestyle and nutrition - Can be found in the ocean or mountains at any opportunity - Goal-orientated. Never bored. Growth and contribution mindset (non-fiction literature, nutrition & training, psychology & philosophy, social sciences, technology, Brazilian jiu jitsu, acroyoga, meditation, languages, vagabonding, etc) - Independent thinker, not a sheep. Prefer almost no commercial TV. (intentional entertainment is sweet, but 24/7 ads and lowest-common-denominator shows polluting our castle aint so sweet). As Josh Waitzkin says, "I cultivate empty space as a way of life for the creative process".

I'm a 4th year UQ student just back from student exchange. I've shared rentals before and am tidy and reliable. Enjoy cooking and keeping fit and hoping to find housemates who i can call friends.
I'm a conscientious housemate and full time student in my last year at UQ, studying film and writing. I've lived in share houses before. Looking for a comfortable room on the south side with a decent internet connection, not too far from a major supermarket or public transport to UQ, and ideally some other 20ish people to chat with or share a movie. I keep things clean and rent paid on time. Don't mind if you smoke, toke, or have pets (as long as you treat them well of course).
We are an easygoing couple that are looking for somewhere relaxed to live. We both study law at QUT. We are very lively people and always like to be making noise, we love music - Jake has several guitars that he enjoys jamming out to. We are always down for a laugh and a chat; but also enjoy individual time for ourselves. We would ideally like to move into a share house with 1 - 2 people that are open and communicative should an issue ever arise. We are both clean and tidy people, and see paying all bills as a first priority. We'd be great to live with as we are always down for a chat, chilled out drink and a bit of fun; but at the same time would give you lots of space. In our spare time we enjoy going for drives or taking small trips. We'l never say no to a casual drink or to trying new experiences. We'd love to live in a place where we feel very welcome.
I am a friendly, clean, sociable person and I'm respectful of other people's things. I am pretty laid back and easy to live with and although my room is often a mess I appreciate having clean and tidy common areas. I just got back from 8months in central and south america so would love to live with some fellow travellers! I'm currently studying at UQ and only have 6months until I graduate but I am still trying to work as much as possible to save up for the next trip :)
I'm a great housemate! Chill go with the flow adaptable. I will be working full-time as an exhibit builder at the queensland museum. Im wrapping up my studies now in visual arts and spanish. In my downtime I like to read, paint and take little trips away to get into nature as often as possible. I love living in brisbane because of the trees, the citycat and all the friendly faces. I cook abit, clean a bit; I am looking for a relaxing place to call home but still with social good times.
Hi, I'm a French student taking a year off my studies to gain some professional experience. I have found an internship in brisbane and am therefore looking for a place to stay. I'm used to travelling around (I've lived in South Africa and India) and meeting new people so I'm quite easy-going. I am tidy and respectful of others and their privacies.
We are looking for a large bedroom and some storage space, easy to live with , clean and quiet we both love riding our bikes 🚴. and Holly will away on placement to finish her Uni degree most of the time. I work full time but when we are around we just like to relax and cook.
Hi, I live in Northern NSW but work in West End 3 days a week. Looking for somewhere for just 2 nights a week! I'll barely be there as I'll be working late when in West End. So it won't even feel like you have a flatemate. You can even airbnb the room on the weekend if you like :)
Quaint Brisbane abode and amazingly placed within Highgate Hill; part of the quiet pocket near the river. You'll live close to all major forms of public transport and facilities. The city, QUT, South Bank, and UQ within half hour walking distance. The apartment block fronts onto a beautiful park, which houses a community garden, woodfire pizza oven, and a basketball court. I am a friendly 27 year old male, works full time. Looking for a flatmate who will respect the apartment as much as I do. This is a relaxed friendly household. I'm looking to share with someone that is friendly, respectful, willing to contribute to housework, but also with a sense of humour. Room is furnished with bed and built in wardrobe. There are only 6 units in the complex, with secure entry and parking available. Bills for electricity are additional to rent and split two ways. 100mbps fibre optic internet is included in the rent. Send me an email or a text with a bit about yourself and number to contact you on and I'll endeavour to set up a time to talk and organise a quick inspection. secure complex large living space balcony internal laundry Oven & cook-top Air Conditioning wardrobe 2 large sliding door mirrors
Hi there, I'm Ness! I'm looking for a place while I continue (the seemingly never ending journey) of saving for a house deposit. And no, I will not sacrifice smashed avo. I'm single and have a pretty good balance in life. I'm housemate trained after share housing for a decade or so, including basics such as: - keeping communal areas tidy - 'clean as you go' kitchen habits - pushing a vacuum cleaner and other weekly chores - replacing toilet paper and other household items - Netflix binging - kicking back and having a chat with a drink in hand or over dinner - respecting/ giving you space I highly value staying active, healthy and happy, which means I'm busy during the weekdays with: - exercising (boxing, running, gym, indoor soccer, walking, or other) - working full time in health and community care (including some travel) - spending time with mates Weekends are for adventures, events, and sometimes relaxing. Things I'd like to do at any time? - travel. I just got back from trekking to base camp Everest which (probably needless to say) was incredible. Diving somewhere is happening for the Easter break... - eat. I love eating, particularly anything fresh, or on a brunch menu, but I certainly don't discriminate. - spend my time outdoors doing everything and anything. - spend time with animals- if you have a pet I'll love it like my own! I'm looking to move to a place: - preferably mid to late Feb - for 6 months or more - max 3 housemates - unfurnished bedroom - carpark (on street parking is fine) - close to the city (walking distance preferably) I'd be looking for housemate(s) who are positive, enjoy wit, predominantly sociable, and enjoy what they do. Anything else you want to know? Feel free to message me!
I'm moving out! The room is a massive 5x3m space with built-in wardrobe and huge ceilings. The bedroom windows allow for an amazing air flow on the second story. There are two veranda's (one on each floor) that give an awesome leafy view of Highgate Hill and Southbank. The house itself is a 5 minute walk from South Bank station and a 1 minute walk where the 196 stops on Gladstone Rd. We share gas, electricity and unlimited internet which makes them quite cheap (i.e. $15 a month for unlimited internet). The backyard is maintained by the landowner at no cost as well. Rent is $200 excl bills, Bond $767 (not exactly 4 weeks), Room available from the 6th Feb! The same advert is on Fbook West End Share Houses if you'd like to use Fbook!
I now have a room available for 1 lucky applicant! :-) It's a great place to live and I've totally loved living here since I moved in about a year and a half ago. The room is huge! It's a 7.5m x 3m space, and has two separate entries. One opens up to the courtyard, and the other to the lounge area. It's quite a social and fun apartment block. Everyone gets on great, and often a beer, bbq and laughs are shared with other tenants on the huge deck upstairs. It's a super convenient location. 5 mins walk to Boundary St/West End, 5 mins walk to Southbank, 5 mins walk to the train station, 25mins walk to the city, buses going in all directions. All bills are included in the weekly rent (Electricity & Unlimited Wifi), rent is due on the 8th of every month, bond is 4 weeks. It's a fun, relaxed and casual place to live. :-)
