Hi there, I plan to move to Hobart to pursue further education in Medicine at UTas. I have been living in shared houses for many years and love to meet new people. I am originally from Melbourne however i would be moving to Tasmania from Boston, Massachusetts. Studying medicine, i would prefer staying with other graduates / health sciences professionals; I am extremely clean, love to explore new places and plan to travel around the Island. I like being social but also prefer to have time to myself, to study and would prefer living with those that appreciate a clean house.
Hi there. So I am moving to Hobart for a new job and a new life. I will be working for the State Government and am on the search for another professional that would like a nice place to share that gives us enough room to be comfortable but still feel like a home. A little about myself - 30 years old - Professional and budget savvy but happy to pay for confortability - happy to sit and watch tv or go for a walk or explore the surrounds or after work drinks or trivia night or hang out in my own room - Doggo will be coming to live with me once I have a house ready for him A little bit about doggo - Borris by name BoBo by nickname - 7 years old - Australian bulldog - lazy by nature - little rolly but is told he's beautiful - doesn't bark (sometimes at butterflys) - doesn't dig - brought up with 3 little dogs and 3 cats so he has respect and love for both If any of this sounds like something you would like to live with let me know and we can have a chat about it. 😊
Cameron knows how to live with other people. He is respectful of space and keeps up with his share of the household chores. I have come to know Cameron as someone who listens and acts upon other people’s needs. Oh and he is a fantastic gardener! He knows how to cook but leads a busy work and social life which means there won’t be many tines he will get in your way in the kitchen. If he had one flaw it would be that it takes a little to come out of his shell but once he is comfortable you will find good conversation with him. Daniel (Previous Landlord/Housemate) Happy to provide contact details for reference.
I'm from Cairns, I graduated school in 2016 and now I am starting my University course at the University of Tasmania. I will be studying medicine. I'm a pretty easy-going, quiet and clean guy and likes almost anything, I also can do chores and errands and know how to cook a little. I'm a non-smoker with no pets and looking for a quiet place to stay as I will be doing a lot of study and work for Uni.
Hello :-) We are currently looking for a double room as we might spend some time in Hobart. We are looking for jobs atm and we are looking to stay in Tassie for a few months. We are tidy, friendly, always up for a chat with a glass of wine! :-) Mathilde & Aurore
I'm starting my honours year in English, so I love books and reading. I like cooking, and if we get on well I'd be happy to whip up a bunch of brownies or bake a loaf of bread! I'm pretty social but I also need a lot of down time, especially as I'll be spending a lot of time on my study, but I'm always willing to catch up over a glass of wine or G&T. I love dogs, and would prefer a place that would be amenable to me looking after my mums dog every now and then.I like a relatively clean house. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit!
I will be a full time graduate accountant. I am easy to get along, active and like to keep things on the cleaner side. Flexible with move in date and length of stay, but preferably anytime before 10th of Feb and a minimum of 6-month stay.
Im a 22 year old female, who is moving to Tasmania for my PhD at UTAS towards the end of February (date TBD). I am a bit of a work-aholic, but I am laid back and can work around noise. I would like to move my horse over with me so I am reaching out here in the hopes that either someone else wants a bit of rural living and will co-lease a property with me, they themselves have a room with enough acreage to keep a horse, or they live in a region which has rural areas close by. The horse, Zack, is a big smooch who loves attention and scratches. The person is low maintenance and can whip up something delicious in the kitchen. Feel free to text or call
I am American and I just moved to Tasmania after studying in Europe for a year. I met some great friends from here so decided this was the next best place to visit for a while. I am looking for somewhere to live in the Sandy Bay/New Town area. I am pretty easy going and love Photography.
My name is Lauren and I've recently qualified as a radiation therapist and been lucky enough to be offered a job in Hobart! I am currently living in Geelong, Victoria but am looking forward to a change. I am very positive and easy going and am always up for a laugh and a few drinks. Feel free to contact me regarding pretty much anything :)
Hey Hobart, I am currently living in Melbourne but will soon be moving to your city. I am moving south in search of a quieter city away from the lights of of Melbourne. I love all things Tasmania and can't wait to get down there. I will be studying at Utas ( environmental) and seeking work in one of the local watering holes. a bit about me... I'm originally from Newcastle and moved to Melbourne a few years ago to experience the city life. I've travelled around and lived overseas for a while but am keen to stay put in tassie for a while. I love connecting with the environment and enjoy camping and hiking. I'm looking for some like minded people to live with, I don't know many people in Hobart so ideally would be a reasonably social house that doesn't mind a cuppa and chat and a few alcoholic beverages from time to time. I live pretty sustainably and am quite clean and respectful around the house. I'll be down in Hobart around the 12th of February so if you think I might be a good fit for your house feel free to drop us a line. cheers, Dan
