Hi there, My name is Nana, I’m looking for a flatmate to share this lovely home in West Hobart. A bit about me: I worked and studied in Melbourne for 3.5yrs, finished my master degree, and moved to hobart 8 month ago, work full time in accounting and hospitality in Hobart. Laid back, easy going, not a party animal, don’t smoke, enjoy a glass of wine from time to time. Love running and I’m training for 1/2 marathon, like yoga, hiking, archery and other outdoor activities, movies/TV shows, travel (now finally got time after uni). Love dogs but I don’t have one. Lived in shared houses for years, quiet, tidy and clean. I like cooking (dumpling/noodle ‘Queen’ according to friends:)), more than happy to share a meal, have a chat or hang out every now and then since I don’t have many friends in Tassie, but respect your quiet time and privacy. Looking for flatmates who share the similar interests. Feel free to send me a message for more details or information about the house and me. Cheers, Nana
Hello reader! My lease is expiring in mid-October and I need a change of scenery. :) I'm a 29 year old female working full-time (Mon-Fri) in Government and studying Criminology & Criminal Justice part-time at University. I don't smoke or have any pets, however I love all animals, big or small! Very easy to get along with and respectful. Love a good chat but also like my own space and respect others needing their own space. Ideally looking for a large unfurnished room or studio apartment to rent, with max housemates 1-2 (females only!). A non-party house is definitely my preference because I'll be super boring and study most weekends during the day. :)
Hi folks I'm looking for a for a suitable accommodation. Most times I´m working and studying but at home I like to talk to flatmates as well as respect their privacy. I´m neat and tidy so I´d like to live with similar people. Well a little about me: I like sports, playing guitar (but I don´t have one now), travelling and videogames. I look forward to hearing from you Cheers
I'm Manu recently graduated in Construction Management, and relocating to Tasmania for the employment purpose. I'm very much considerate, down to earth, open-minded, ambitious, energetic, friendly, outgoing person, and also I've lived in shared house/flats for numerous years in the UK, so I know my role in the house when it comes to cleaning, taking responsibility and co-operating for the well-being of my housemates. Further, I'm very keen on working out at the gym in order to keep myself fit and healthy, and if you're a fitness enthusiast then we can mutually benefit to achieve our respective goals. In addition, cooking has always been my passion and if you want to fancy any of my recipes I would be glad to cook. I eat most of the time cooking at home; however, I'm fond of eating at restaurants occasionally or perhaps have a drink during the weekends. Further, I practice ashtanga yoga, pranayama regularly, other hobbies include reading, swimming, MMA, etc. I'm particularly seeking flatmates who possess similar interests.
My name is Kedar and I'm male, aged 21 from India. I am studying my Masters in Environmental Management at UTAS and complete the course at the end of next year. I consider myself social, although Uni is often busy leading me to be a bit reclusive at times. I am clean and tidy and very respectful of other people’s space. Ideally, I am looking to sign a medium-term (1-2 years) lease for a single room in a neat and tidy house, with good public transport accessibility. I am ready to move in at the start of September, but I’m quite flexible with this. A decent Wi-fi connection is also a must. I'm creative, especially musically, and I enjoy the occasional jam. Although it’s just as a hobby, I own a little home studio to record and make music. I also spend a bit of time in the kitchen, though I do not consider myself an expert chef by any means. Just like anybody, I enjoy a good shared meal and conversation and even the occasional drink. When time permits, I often like to garden and combine it with my love for cooking. Recently, I have been making changes to be more sustainable and it’s a massive bonus if the people I live with have similar values. I love animals, having done some zoology in my undergrad and am extremely comfortable around them. In summer, my love for nature often drives me out of home and I enjoy adventuring, bush-walking, swimming and looking for cool wildlife and plants. I currently work part-time, working in online customer support for a scholarly writing platform called Authorcafe, that helps students and lecturers collate and publish research. I volunteer when I can find the time, helping UTAS students and lecturers with their projects. Since my parents live back in India, I have good experiences living in sharehouses having lived with people from many cultures and backgrounds, including Australian. This will be my 4th year in a sharehouse. I am therefore quite independent and experienced in sharing house experiences.
I am an easygoing, respectful person who is looking for the same qualities in my housemates. I work as a merchandiser in the city and in my own time do yoga and outdoorsy stuff. Home is for relaxing and enjoying peace and quiet, so I don't bring a lot of people or noise into the house. No dramas, just live and let live :) I'm looking for a room close to the CBD, furnished.
Hi :) My name is Leah, and I'm 21 years old, engaged, and looking to move to Hobart to a place where I can live and work. I'm a full time artist, and am job hunting. I'm looking for a place to stay for 12 to 18 months while the Fiance and I save up for our own place. I will be the main occupant, but I'm looking for a place that's fine with The Fella popping in and out every month or so to stay for a visit with me. Happy to pay extra for the days that he is here ;) I am currently self employed, and live on the money I make from my full time business, my savings, and from Welfare funds. I'm a non smoker, and I'm good with budgeting, (Rent comes first no matter what) I like a beer or glass of wine every now and then but I'm not a heavy drinker, and I don't do any drugs other than my prescriptions :) Happy to help out with the housework, and I always keep my space tidy and neat. I'm a bit of an introvert, but I enjoy a good chat :) I love the beach in all weathers, I love going on long nature walks with my sketchbook, cooking, and spending the evenings snuggled up in bed with Netflix or a book ^_^
Hey, I’m moving to Hobart in September and looking for somewhere to live, preferably with some flatmates! I’m pretty chilled out, tidy and enjoy hiking, climbing, keeping active as well as going for food and drinks. I’m from Ireland and have been living in Brisbane for a year- now looking to explore Tasmania! I work as a doctor in ED so preferably would like somewhere within walking/cycling distance to the hospital. I’m looking for a cosy flat that I can enjoy relaxing in and flatmates with similar interests who are up for hanging out and going for drinks/hikes with! A flat that is furnished would be preferable but would also be open to an unfurnished property in the right circumstances! I would also consider teaming up and renting a flat. Let me know if you’re interested 😊
Just moved to Tassie to work full time as a physio at the Royal. I play a lil bit of ultimate frisbee, swim regularly and have recently have got into cycling. I’m after a private room in a share house that likes to keep the home clean and organised - where we can enjoy our time alone or have a get together. Budgeting at $250 including bills. I’m keen to meet some new people who are relaxed, respectful and up for a laugh. Looking forward to a response!
