My name is Sebastien. I am a Swiss, 37 years old man, currently finishing my PhD at UTAS. I study the ecology of Tasmanian devils to improve the conservation strategies for this emblematic species. I am really not a complicated person, I love a simple life. I spend my time between reading, listening to music (very eclectic taste) and working on my pictures. I enjoy good food and nice beverages (wine and cheese is a treat…) especially when shared with nice people. I like to spend my weekends exploring Tasmania (camping, kayaking, walking) and I am a passionate wildlife photographer.
Hi there! 👋 My name is Montana but most people call me Monty. I am a medical student at UTAS who has just finished her first year, and is looking for a calm, neat and comfortable place to live starting February 2019 and beyond! I’m looking for a place to live with people who are friendly but will let me sink off to my room on those days where stress is just a bit too much! I’m not a party animal, but I’m also not opposed to a get together every now and then if so be it. I am the kind of person who leaves a room spotless - I’m more than happy to chip in and do my fair share of housework and I don’t need to be asked to do so (if I see something that needs to be done, I’ll just do it). I’m keen to live in a household where everyone makes life as easy for each other as possible 😄 A few facts about me: LIKES: - Reality TV (I’m so so sorry in advance 😉) - The Jungle Giants and any music I can bop to while cooking dinner - A slice of pizza every now and then DISLIKES: - Putting on a soggy lab coat in the dissection lab that someone just dipped in cadaver (the WORST) If you’re looking for a housemate who is super easy to get along with, is extremely single and therefore won’t bring strange men into your house, and will take the load on those days where things are a little hard, then I could be a great match. Please feel free to message me and say hi, I’d love to meet you! 🌻
Hello, I'm Marion I'm a warm, easy going introvert, lover of cooking, books, dogs, coffee and the sea. Independent, tidy and respectful of shared spaces. Up until now I've been working as a filmmaker - mostly editing documentaries for the last few years, but I'm moving to Hobart to go back to uni. I'm looking for a place that I can stay long term, where I can study and have a bit of a sanctuary - ideally somewhere I can have a nice relationship with housemates, maybe cook and eat together from time to time. Added bonus - I have a very high tolerance for people practicing musical instruments in the home, which comes from many years of experience in a large family of crazy musicians cheers, - M
Hi, I came from Singapore with husband, I work full time in Moonah and husband study UTAS. We are looking for a room to stay at a reasonable price and friendly housemate. We are tidy, we prefer a quiet place, Can enjoy dinner or lunch or wine with a housemate.
I cook for a living. I love colors, people, beaches and music! I am quite adjusting, open minded and fun! I am basically from Calcutta, India and I have shared rooms before. I respect people and their personal space. I will be staying in Hobart for six months, working with the Wrest Point, as a summer intern. I would love to move in preferably on the 8th December. Areas near the Wrest Point Hotel would be a plus. Feel free to message me! Cheers!
Hello! I'm a marine biologist from Spain and I just moved to Hobart to do a PhD at IMAS. I love cooking and sharing a cup of tea/coffee or a glass of wine with some great conversation. I used to be vegan but now I'm more flexible although I tend to cook more veggie meals. I play guitar a bit and love photography and painting. And whenever I can, I like to get away and explore!
So, I came to this beautiful state from over West a year ago and am looking to round up a posse of good peeps to establish a sharehome that's comfortable and fun to live at. I'm currently looking to rent a house for at least 12 months - I'd love something a bit of a yard and some space. I work at the Uni and would like to live quite close by there, so I'm thinking South Hobart and Sandy Bay. I'm pretty easy-going and enjoy having a clean and welcoming environment in which to live. I love cooking, hanging out, and chilling. I am an approachable person who likes to socialise but values down-time at home; that being said, I'm not adverse to having a bbq on a sunny day or a few drinks while chilling at home ;) I get on well with most people; my family had a Portuguese restaurant back in Ireland, so I've been exposed to different nationalities from all around the world since I've been a little kid. I've built a rich and full life for myself here in Hobart and would like to live with warm and happy people who appreciate having a lovely space in which to chill. If this sounds good to you, then hit me up :) Stace
Hello, I'm Maggie and I'm from San Diego, California. I will be moving to Hobart to work as a nurse in November. I'm looking for places close to CBD (where my hospital is) because I don't have a car yet. Looking to move in around Nov. 26th. About me: -I'm a down to earth Californian girl, outgoing and full of positive energy. -I traveled extensively through North, Central American and Asia, and I'm very respectful toward other culture. -I like to have time for myself and I respect others privacy too. But I would love to hang out when we are both available. -On my days off, I like to try different restaurants/bars and travel around to see different things. I LOVE the ocean and spend a lot of time on all sorts of water sports (paddle boarding, scuba diving and sailing). -I clean after myself, and expect my roommates to do the same. Please message me if you think we are compatible. I would love to chat and see if we can work something out. Thank you!

(Move date is slightly flexible from 1st - 9th of Dec) I am super friendly and really fun to stay with but also very understanding of your own private space. I am very responsible, neat and always clean after myself. I am a very active person and does lot of sports. Definitely not a party person, just a social person who enjoys the occasional beer with some buddies. Think i'll be a good fit or just wanna get to know me more, shoot me a msg. Cheers!! Thank you :)
Hey there. I'm a late twenties gal looking for a new place to live for the next year. I'm about to start my final year in Master of Clinical Psychology and work 20-30h per week as a youth worker. I'm looking to live with some fellow twenty-somethings who work/study full time, but more importantly, I'm looking for excellent humans to live with. I'd love to have a chat, if you think I might be a match for your place x Available Jan 31 but can negotiate on the move in date :)
I'm clean, house-proud, quiet and hardly ever home. When I am, you'll usually find me cooking, chilling out with a book, or calling friends/family back home (NZ for me). Looking for a cosy place to call home. Looking to live with just one other, max two, and ideally with a spare room/study space.
Hi!! we are looking for a place to stay, while we are doing our farm work. Davide is a chef, and love cooking. We are really clean, tidy and very respectful with our flatmates, we can be a very good company and also know to respect when others need time and space alone.
My name is Jake and I'm an apprentice chef at Templo in Hobart. I'm a quiet individual who spends most of my time either working, exercising or sleeping. I'm an avid ocean explorer who goes kayaking and diving all throughout the summer period looking for delicious fish and abalone to eat. I'm looking at selling my car and moving closer to where I'm working so I can ride or walk and live a bit of a healthier lifestyle. I can provide a glowing recommendation from my current real estate agent where I have never been late on rent and kept my place in immaculate condition.
I am an energetic person who loves the outdoors, staying active and reading a good book. I try to live a reasonably sustainable lifestyle and would prefer to live with people who share or respect these values. I am clean, tidy and like to sit around for a casual wine and communal meal every now and then.
I've just finished year 12, and going on to an apprenticeship, (kitchenwork). About to be 18 this month. I just want somewhere private to live, with responsible enough people. I don't have any pets, but I do have a collection of much loved succlents and other plants. I'm totally open to organing my own moving, transport & furniture, as long as I can view the place first. If other housemates want to go out and do stuff I'm down for that too. Love to goto the movies when I can. I allways clean, vacuum and wash my own stuff, I'd just prefer to be able to use household cleaning supplies. Regarding rent and bills, as long as it's not over 210$ (inc bills & int) I'm good to cover that.
