Hey :) Me and my friend Laura will be traveling through Australia starting in Sydney. We are looking forward to our journey, but we still need a place to stay for a little while. We are both very openminded, friendly and uncomplicated people (as far as I can judge ;)) Our budget is 250$ (for the both of us) but we are open to deviations. We would love to find a suitable flat with some nice roomates!
WATERFRONT BALCONY ROOM - for quiet nature lover Wake to water and birds in an upstairs, fully-furnished room filled with light. Looking out onto a large garden, water and green reserve, this split-level modernist house fronts directly onto Tarban Creek, linking to the main harbour. it's a beautiful, peaceful and serene place surrounded by great vistas. This very large 20m2 master bedroom combines two rooms opening out onto a newly renovated big balcony. It has a queen-bed, spacious wardrobes and two comfortable leather chairs with foot stools. There is a silent ceiling fan and louvres for summer use, a reverse-cycle air-conditioner for winter use and motorised block-out roller blinds. With an adjacent dedicated shower/bath/toilet, it is a secluded area of the house that offers the option of plenty of privacy if wanted. Your access to the rest of the house includes the dining area and living room with mid-century furniture with views of the northern garden on the one side and the relaxing shade of the veranda with a BBQ overlooking the creek on the southern side. The sunny kitchen with dishwasher is adjacent to the breakfast room which opens out onto the north-facing garden terrace which is perfect for lunches and a relax amidst the flowers! The downstairs laundry has a large washing machine and we use an open-air clothes line although we do have a dryer to cover rainy days. There is on-street parking in a quiet street. For both ecological and economic reasons the house is organised on the basis of cooling in the summer via fans and heating in the winter via reverse cycle air-conditioning. There are solar panels on the roof with the aim of minimising impact of energy use. INCLUDED in the rent is WiFi-NBN, electricity, water and care of the garden. For non-smokers only and pets are subject to application. We are preferably looking for a single person but are willing to consider a couple although this would incur additional costs to cover increased use of amenities alongside wear and tear. If you are interested in withdrawing into an idyllic waterfront home surrounded by garden and beautiful vistas inhabited by art- and nature-lovers then this may be for you. CLOSE BY: Hunters Hill shops and local cafés, restaurants and pubs are a few minutes walk away besides a wide variety of shops in nearby Gladesville, Boronia Park and Drummoyne. Riverglade Reserve opposite is a recreation area with a large off-leash dog area and soccer field fringed by mangroves and small beaches. There's a range of great nature walks throughout the area. BY CAR: Offpeak you can get into the city in 15 minutes, but working hours it’s around 20-30mins and in rush hour, absolute worst cases, up to an hour. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The house is within close walking distance of bus (506 at Hunters Hill Shops and the 500 series on Victoria Road) or ferry at Huntley’s Point Wharf, with fast services to the city and Parramatta. There are also easy bus links to Chatswood, Ryde, North Ryde / Macquarie Park and to Macquarie University.
Hi :) I’m Vanessa, 24 years old. I have a Masters in International Economics and Finance and am moving to Sydney as I just got offered a corporate job. I’ll be working full time but love socialising, meeting new people and exploring but also like to wind down, relax and have a glass of wine after those long days. I pride myself in being a very clean housemate and also extremely understanding of people/their needs and aware of her surroundings. Between full time work, gym, dancing, going out to the beach and exploring new bars and restaurants, i’ll be out of the house quite a bit. However, when I am not doing all of that I enjoy cooking and watching netflix with some good ol ice cream. I am looking for a rental/existing share house becoming available somewhere around mid/late January. Would like to find like minded housemates to make a home and enjoy Sydney with.
I am a very clean, tidy person that loves gardening. I have a kelpie x koolie dog named Taco who is friendly and the best! He is toilet trained and knows a few tricks. I enjoy travelling, gardening, cooking. I am a teacher and just currently got a job in Eastwood.
Hey, its Mufeez, a Civil Engineer by profession, in my early 20's. Planning to move to Australia to explore the career opportunities here, and to get some international working exposure. Also, I love travelling and exploring what this world has to offer. In my spare time I read books, and wander around city, interact with locals, or play video games, listen to some good music. I am a supportive and cooperative guy, fun loving, prefers to keep a friendly relation with everyone, pretty much easy going and gets along with everyone quickly. I keep my stuff very well-organized, I respect others personal space and privacy. I prefer to live in a peaceful and health environment. Looking forward to get a Clean and peaceful accommodation, and find some good people with diverse backgrounds to make my stay worthy and memorable for me! Thankyou! Feel free to ask any questions! Hit me up if you have any queries..

Hi! I'm a 23 year old Aussie female looking to rent a private room in a share house. I am moving up to Sydney for uni around January 😊 preferably a house of girls, but definitely not a defining factor! I'm super chilled and laid back, I appreciate my own space (and a good sleep in on Sunday) but love being social and having a cheeky drink or 2 (or 10) on a Friday/Saturday night also! I have all of my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. Swing me a message 😊 x
I've recently graduated University from UQ in Brisbane and am looking to move to Sydney for full time work in 2020. I have experience in share house living, having spent the last year in a share house with 4 guys. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, gym, touch football, chess and being social. I'm looking to move into a house close to the CBD, with a fun and respectful group of people; age and gender are of no issue. I'll be starting work on Monday January 20th so will be looking to move in the week before that.
My lease has come to an end so exploring my options - work in North Sydney so looking for anywhere from Gladesville - Balmain - Mosman etc. Super easy going (seriously, anything goes) pretty dedicated my work / gym routine during the week. I eat super clean and clean my dishes straight away!! pretty outdoorsy so on the weekends I'll be at the beach, seeing mates or going for a motorbike ride. Work full time business hours then spend about 2 hrs at the gym after work so thats my week, extremely courteous of others, pretty much do my own thing but at the same time don't mind coming home to a social group of flat mates! Ideally like to find something for 200$ a week but for the right place will pay more. Also looking for garage space to store motorbike gear etc.
