I am looking for a room in a shared house with professionals. I am very tidy and like to keep the place nice and clean. I prefer a quiet place with no parties. Cheers

Hello! I'm currently working as a nurse at the hospital. I'm looking for a place to call home that has a nice outdoor area and a good vibe with 3-5 housemates. I'm easy going and very friendly, I love a good chat and the evening/weekend bev. I like to keep things clean and tidy. I live a pretty busy, active, outdoorsy lifestyle so I'm looking for somewhere nice to come home and relax with some fun people. Ideally, I would love ocean view for some verandah storm watching in the wet. I love the idea of "family meals" and if there was to be a dog as a housemate, it would be my dream come true! Sorry, Nightcliff or Rapid Creek area only. **Currently out of Darwin, will be looking again after Dec 12**
Hey guys! I'm Peter! I've just moved up from Adelaide to the amazing NT! I've visited before a few times, but I decided that I just couldn't get enough of the place and so I've accepted a 12 month contract and moved up here! I know, crazy, right!? I'm an actor/comedian, but I work primarily with sick kids in hospital and in communities. So it's a bit of an interesting job.. I've been doing that for the last 6 years or so. I've lived in several different share houses over the years, and I'm happy to send through references etc. if you'd like that too. I'm a fairly clean person, and I like to stay organised as much as I can, but I won't faint if someone left the sugar out or something.. Well.. there was this one time.. ha! Anyway.. I can be a fairly social kind of person, and enjoy good food, meeting people and having a beer with friends. That said, I also love chilling out and keeping to myself at times, I feel like you need to strike that balance a bit. I'm looking for somewhere that is relaxed and fun to live, I don't need huge amounts of space, or anything too fancy, but a nice roof over my head and some cool people to occasionally hang out with woyuld be the best! If you'd like to know anything else, just let me know! Cheers guys, Peter
Hello! My name is Eleanor and I'm looking forward to moving to Darwin at the end of January. I will be working full time as a doctor at the hospital for six months and am hoping to find a share house to call home. I am very well accustomed to share house living and have always had great relationships with my housemates. I would always hope to be good friends with anyone I lived with and to contribute to any house I join in a positive way! I love spending time with housemates, sharing delicious dinners and chatting over glasses of wine, but am also very easygoing and self-sufficient. I'm very clean and tidy and I love to cook! I also love hiking and the great outdoors and am looking forward to the chance to explore the beautiful national parks around Darwin.
Looking for somewhere for 6months+. I’ve lived in Darwin area for almost 3 years. I work full time for a community service (office hours). Like to spend evenings at gym/yoga, catching up with friends or relaxing at home (trashy tv is a guilty pleasure). Not a party person. I’m clean and tidy - would need to share with similar person or would be driven insane! I’m a respectful housemate - usual stuff - happy to chat and socialise but also appreciate privacy/independence. Happy to share with any pets but I have none myself.
Hi there! Originally from Melbourne, I currently work at the hospital as a Prosthetist/Orthotist (I make artificial limbs and splints). I live in Parap but am considering relocating closer to work in February. I consider myself clean, polite and easy to get along with. Not much of a drinker but always up for some chit chat over a cuppa. I don't mind a bit of cooking and love to share - baking sourdough and Vietnamese food are my strengths! My passions outside of work are music, hiking and recreational sports. I play a handful of instruments but am very mindful and respectful when others are home. Look forward to meeting you!
Hey! I'm a happy and upbeat person looking for an easy going crew to call home. I enjoy hiking, travelling, cooking, music and live gigs, playing average guitar and doing all kinds of fun things with my dog Dré... he's a 7 year old chocolate lab and arguably a better flatmate than me (if you count cuddles and a special welcome home everyday). References of good boy behaviour (and general awesomeness) are available from current flat mates. Oh yea and they will say I'm cool too :p Require Furnished. Lastly, I work as an IT Vendor Manager.
I am a married, working on a long term contract in Darwin while my wife continues to live and work in Brisbane. I am health conscious, a reasonable cook, physically active and fully fit, but do enjoy an occasional beer or wine. I am self-sufficient, helpful, well organised, like to keep things tidy, am a reasonable handyman, and use either a bicycle or my motorbike for transport. Happy to meet prospective housemates to establish the likelihood of compatibility.
Hi! I'm a social worker moving up from Melbourne in late January. I have signed a 2 year contract and will be working between the hospital and the city. I've been in share houses for a number of years now and feel like I'm a good balance of fun and respectful. I love having a wine with housemates and chatting about the day but am also respectful of people's space (and my own!). As I am new to Darwin, I'll be spending a lot of time exploring, so am happy for either another newbie to explore with or a seasoned pro who can advise on all the best places to check out. I am also looking for a fully-furnished room/house. Feel free to get in touch - I arrive in Darwin next week, however won't be needing a place until mid-Feb.
We are two friends who have just completed our university degrees of teaching and occupational therapy. We are planning on moving from Geelong, to Darwin for work. We are easy going, sociable girls who enjoy some drinks on the weekend, sport and the outdoors. We are neat and respectful of others and would love to find a friendly home.
Engineer moving to Darwin for a 6 month work placement. Looking for a furnished room so that my partner can keep using the furniture in Melbourne! Darwin CBD (or close to it) preferred. I’m equally happy sharing a drink on the couch every night, or keeping entirely to myself. I’m planning to have a lot of weekend camping/hiking trips while in town, which I’d also welcome company on. Non-smoker. I have no pets, but I’d love to be around yours.
