Hey all, I’m Isaac, 24 year old male who works full time at the Royal Darwin Hospital. I’m just a average guy who loves a laugh and love meeting new people. I’m easygoing, clean.
I'm a young professional from Townsville who has been living in Darwin a year now. I've lived in two share houses previously - with a couple for 18 months, then a guy and girl for 15 months. Despite being a professional talker I'm a quiet housemate, who’s neat, tidy and easy going. Also super flexible on arrangements in the house, e.g. if you want to cook together sometime to save money I cook a mean stir fry and some vego recipes as well, or if you want to split the cost of a cleaner. I have a super friendly, well-behaved kelpie who loves cuddles and fetch and is house trained. I would need to have him inside at times because he gets very scared of Darwin’s impressive thunderstorms.
Beautiful award winning architecturally designed independent space, fully furnished and including a simple equipped kitchen. Available from 5 October until mid/late June 2019. This studio is located in my garden. It is an excellent location near Rapid Creek shops with Sunday markets, a 2 minute walk to the bus stop if required and easy access to the Nightcliff/Rapid Creek foreshore pathway. The living space features high ceilings and a mezzanine bedroom loft, accessed by small stairs. 2 split system aircontioners ensure both levels are comfortable. The rear deck functions as both outdoor kitchen and dining. It looks out over the garden and features an outdoor pond. A single undercover car park is available at the studio entry. This studio is perfect for someone who would enjoy, respect and care for this space. Appropriate for a single, the right couple or potentially a home/workspace for a single therapist due to its' aesthetic and tranquility. It is fully self contained, so only own linen and personal items required. Power is included BUT an excess usage may be imposed (dependent on the power bill) if tenant is negligent or careless with excessive air con use. Internet is included. A 4 week bond is also required. Viewing not available until Wednesday 26th September.
Hey, Carl here, looking for a new place around Darwin. Been living here for 18 months and enjoying it so far. Melbourne before that. Share housed a bit now and reckon 3-4 people is best so looking for a place that size. Preferably near the water and with people who care about the planet and the people who live on it who enjoy bbqs on the balcony. Hit me up!
Hello! My name is Ali and I am stoked to be moving to Darwin. I enjoy cooking, drinking wine, gardening and making a lovely space to live. I would really enjoy finding other young and successful pals to live with who are up for exploring darwin, going to markets and out for coffee. I come from an enviro background and am after like minded lovely humans to live with, send me a message if you think we would be a good fit!
Hey I’m Dan, I’ve been described as a human Labrador by my mates lol.. Just super happy n chilled but always up for some fun, whether it’s a cook up, a bike ride, a movie, a party or whatever.. I’m coming back to Darwin after spending 3 months out in Gove working in an remote Aboriginal Hospital as a doctor, but it’s time to come back to the big smoke! As a housemate, I’m clean and respectful of private space, but almost always up for a good chat or activity. Also, I try not to watch movies too much, because I don’t want to waste my life on them, but I love them so much! Ha, I’ve got a projector that turns it into a home cinema experience! We had our own little Australian film festival month when I was there last. Finally, I’m going to be working Mon-Fri 9-5 through the week and I’m going to try n get out camping as much as possible on weekends through the dry season!
I am friendly and social and easy going housemate who is clean and tidy :) I am respectful of others space and usually am out of the house however do like company and conversation when home (also happy to relax) enjoy going out for a meal or social event or even a hike or waterfall adventure
I am a legal secretary currently living in Brisbane QLD and I am moving up to Darwin to work full time and live. I am easy going and I am always up for a laugh or a Friday afternoon bevvie. I love to get out and do interesting things, and find new places to hike and I am always up for a chat. I'm looking for a place to move into the moment I step off the plane, so if you think you have a place where I will fit in, give me a bell and we can have a chat and meet each other
I am a quiet 21 year old from Adelaide, moving up to the NT to escape the cold weather and begin my next chapter in nursing. Currently studying a degree in registered nursing, whilst working as an enrolled nurse. Will be working at the Royal Darwin Hospital, heading up in two weeks with dog. My dogs name is Pippa, she is a miniature dachshund, she will absolutely love you. I'm no party animal, but won't say no to a wine or beer with my flatmates at the end of the long work week. I love to cook, always happy to share meals. If I'm not at work or studying, I'll usually be at the gym or out exploring the beauties of the NT. Big on adventure, seeking freedom from from the mainstream lifestyle of consumerism.
