I am a 55 year old widowed and now single male. I am a professional, working as a Business Development Manager for a QLD company and do a fair bit of travel for my company. We design and manufacture pedestrian bridges, boardwalks, jetties and wharves and so on. I have a 15 year old daughter, Molly, who lives with her mother in Geelong (previous relationship that occurred after my marriage ended). Molly comes and stays with me on weekends every now an then. It is no longer the fortnightly thing as she works part time at Target in Geelong. I would like to have her every now and then but she is happy to sleep in my room. I have a double bed and a desk (I work from home when I am not travelling) and a large TV on a return if there is room for it. I am clean and tidy and happy to be part of the house cleaning … vacuuming, bathroom, toilet, kitchen. I really enjoy cooking and am told KI’m a pretty good cook. My interests include cooking, sport, spending time at our family farm in Dargo, fishing, camping, geocaching, theatre, dining out and the arts in general. I currently live in Bendigo, have been here for three years but it is time to move back to Melbourne for lifestyle and work reasons.
A lovely cottage home with bush views, close to transport and all amenities. Medium-size, attractive room available, with adjacent open study area and toilet. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities can be shared, together with television. Home has heating and air conditioning. Large garden for study and enjoyment, and local parklands with walking trails. Wattle Glen station is an easy walk, together with local bus lines. Diamond Creek shops and gym/pool are nearby.
Hey, I'm Beth. I'm wanting to move into a new house and am looking for someone to "team up" and get one together, preferably somewhere that's not too far of a drive from Research (30min drive max). I have a 5yo son who will be at school next year so I'm looking for someone who is ok with children and isn't too wild. I'm not against having a couple of people over on the weekend and a few drinks or whatever though. I'm not a grump haha. I've lived in shared accommodation before, and will keep the house tidy (with a child there are sometimes toys and stuff laying around but not dirty), respect your privacy and your stuff and wouldn't expect you to join in our life (although if you wanted to share a meal or hang out with us then that's great). I have a good rental history and am currently renting a property by myself for $350pw plus bills easily, so you wouldn't need to stress about if I was able to pay rent or bills. I'm open to sharing a whole house, or renting a house with a granny flat out the back for someone who enjoys a bit more space to themselves. My lease has ended to I can move anytime. Send me a message if this might be something you'd be interested in! :)

I am a genuine, hardworking, loyal, caring, friendly Aussie bloke who enjoys a good time... I am very sociable but am also conscious of people and their private time and space which is something I require as well... My friends say I'm really fun to have around and I enjoy good banter and get along with most people... I am very clean OCD in fact and take pride in everything I do... I am easy going with most situations and all I require is effective communication with everything... I am open to moving into any living situStion as I have to be out of my place by Thursday 5th of march let me know if you want to know more
Hi there potential landlords or housemates, I'm a female, 37 year old (young at heart) friendly and clean. I am a great housemate/tenant because I can adapt to any situation and place pretty easily without complaints or stress! I want my future house to be a home not just accomodation! I want it to be my sanctuary where I feel safe and peaceful. I don't mind what age you are or what you do. I respect ones privacy and also am happy to socialise or have a chat every now and then.. I also need privacy lol. I'm honest and direct. I prefer to sort out any problems immediately and believe trust and honesty would be very crucial if a sharehouse is to run smoothly and harmoniously. I'm a homebody and huge dog lover!! I have a small/medium female dog whose 15mths old and loves people and attention, she's quite cheeky.. friendly towards humans generally to other dogs however she's been attacked a couple of times and can get protective of herself hence quickly when playing too roughly. She plays with bigger dogs better too. She is well taken care of and I clean up after her. I'd like a big backyard, more space the better (No townhouses or units unless it's a whole property for myself to rent) My own bathroom only will consider shared bathroom if used rarely by other housemate Large house if sharing WOULD REALLY LOVE MY OWN PLACE HOUSE OR GRANNY FLAT/STUDIO/BUNGALOW!! IF ANYONE IS RENTING A PROPERTY OR ROOMS WITH MY DESCRIPTION PLS CONTACT ME.. ALSO LIKE NO OTHER PETS PREFERABLY AS DONT KNOW IF MY DOG IS UP FOR THAT YET.. Cheers 🙂
Hello! My names Lauren I’m really hoping to find my dream house and housemates! I’m wanting to be apart of a bright, happy home with warm and welcoming individuals who want to create a bit of a housemate family. Cooking together at times, the odd movie night and cups of tea chats! I of course like my own space and all the rest, but I want to be apart of a house that’s feels warm and cozy and I love coming home too - and that’s really all about who you live with! I’m interested in art, painting, music, photography. I adore nature and trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle. I love learning about different topics and world events and educating myself constantly. Dog lovers would be the ideal if not essential, as the catch with me is I come with one! But she’s the most beautiful dog, well behaved and very cuddly. She does shed some hair but I keep on top of it best I can! So somewhere I can bring my dog is essential! I also come with a keyboard and a ukulele. I have my own things but a bed in a room would be ideal. I would not want to be apart of a party house or people who drink heavily etc. no drugs.. you get the picture :) hoping to live with no more than two others if possible! (I seem to get messages from people with kids, i would not be keen to live with children at this stage, so if that’s you please count me out if you’ve read this far and want to message, thank you :))
Hello! My boyfriend and I are looking at moving out. We are both hard working, full time workers looking to start our lives together. We don’t require much at all! We have furniture and more than happy to help out around the place. Please feel free to message me!
Laid back couple. Ryan works all day and will only be home weekends and evenings. I am studying at open university online so I will be in my room most of the time doing school work. I am a qualified baker so I might bake some yummy goodies for us!
We are INTERESTING humans :) We need a place with/closer to the trees, birds and running waters where we can nurture ourselves and feed our creativity :) Gareth and I,Tania, are kind, gentle loving and caring human beings who have passion for free and self sustainable communal life style. I work for myself (holistic massage therapy, project managing and assisting meditation retreats, facilitating meditation and teaching/sharing circles), and Gareth is about to do the same (music/singing, counselling, web-based business). We do also care for for Gareth's son (Callum)1 week out of every 2.. Callum is 6 years old and has a gentle soul and is ready to explore the new life style. He loves animals :) We are mindful about wellness of the environment (humans, nature, animals) and we like to share space with same kind of TRIBE. We like to take only what we need and share the rest :) WE OFFER to work and help you develop and manage the property as a trade for full or partial rent if you are interested :) We make a GREAT TEAM with our complementary skills in area of life experience, social, cultural differences, counselling, project management, organisation, teaching, natural therapy and healing, cooking, making music, handy jobs and gardening. Given our commitment to caring for Callum, we need to find 2 places. One in the west (near Werribee) and one in the east (near Warrandyte or Warburton). Our ideal scenarios is that we would find a property owner who needs some help around the property who is happy for us to park a [self-contained] caravan/motor-home somewhere on their property one week out of every fortnight. Ideally you would also be ok with us erecting a 6m geodesic dome as a living space (we would take it with us when we move on). During the week we are with you, we would offer our time to help around the property in any way. Ultimately we are hoping to start an intentional community somewhere close to Melbourne, and we see this as a stepping stone. The plan is to live a simple, low-cost, low-impact life where we have time to enjoy friends, family and community whilst escaping the debt/employment trap. Very keen to hear from anyone who may be interested.
First things first: I won't be wanting to move into a new place until after I have recovered from my second cancer removal surgery, scheduled sometime around July 2018. I keep to myself, friendly and quiet. I clean up after myself and can cook. I work full time, been at my place of work for over 7 years. 40 years old, recently divorced. I host my own radio show on community radio, Apple 98.5 FM, located in Bacchus Marsh. Back in February 2017 I had major surgery to remove cancer from my body, with a temporary stoma put in while my rectal area repairs itself. In May 2017 I began aggressive chemo treatment, which completed in late September. On Jan 23 2018, it was discovered that cancer has unfortunately returned to my body. Radiotherapy (for a 2nd time within 2 years) began in March and will end in April. Surgery most likely around July and more chemo to most likely follow around October/November. The person(s) accepting me into their home (if that is the case) will need to be aware of my health issues and be understanding and ok with it. I am also a high functioning autistic, better known as Asperger's. Doesn't really mean anything, doesn't affect anything in any way, just best that I mention it. I'm currently living at both my father's house in the eastern suburbs, and a share house in Darley (Bacchus Marsh), however I am planning to leave the house in Darley and live at my father's fulltime, just after I have completed radiotherapy.
I am a writer and teacher, currently doing a PhD in creative writing and history. I have shared my own home in Alice Springs for many years. I am easy going, thoughtful, a good cook, love to garden and grow vegies, peaceful, progressive minded, into nature. I also like a bit of fun. I have a 25 year old daughter who lives independently. I go out to work, on call, up to 5 days a week. Other days I stay home and do my research and writing. I am busy and self contained as well as friendly and personable. I like a clean and organised living space without being over the top about that. My ideal home would be a self-contained or semi-self contained unit where I get to have my own space but am connected to others as well. I would also consider other options. Thanks.
Hi, my name is Dave, I am looking to start a sharehouse in Lilydale/Ringwood area. I am applying atm for houses with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that cost max $480/week. I am hoping to to find two more housemates and have a 3 people max house. I am originally from Italy but am a resident in Australia and have been here for the last 4.5 years. I am working full time but in my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, practicing sports and staying fit, reading, movies and hanging out. I have been living in sharehouses for several years and enjoy a fairly quiet home with friends that come over every now and then, but after a long day at work sometimes I like just to hangout If I sound like someone you would like to live with or want to know more feel free to ask thanks Dave
Hi there everyone! I'm a 25 year old single mum to 3 year old Luca (boy) we are seeking living arrangements either with people in similar circumstances or on our own. We are both happy, friendly people who love to chat. We also like some privacy and peace and quiet - as most do! (The listing states Luca's age as 33 due to 16 years being the minimum input 😛)
I am clean and sonewhat tidy, but not over the top. I am responsible and honest. I like to live my life, my way so I have no issue with how you live yours - unless it impacts on me. I am friendly but not needy. I like my own time and my own area but am happy to sit down for dinner, chat and go our own ways. I have 2 children (9yo girl & 7yo boy), who temporarily reside with their father throughout the week, due to recent personal circumstances. They will be staying with me 1 or 2 nights on weekends for now, but will be returning to live with me again in the not to distant future. I am more than happy to discuss this in detail further to any possible housemates when we meet. I also have a fur baby named Louis. He is a white maltese shih-tsu, who is very much house trained and very much a lap dog. He loves people and cuddles and is great with other dogs of any age. He is really easy going and he usually comes with me everywhere as he loves the car. I am looking to share a home with someone who has similar views on sharing a house. I would prefer to have only one or two housemates max. A room that is large enough (or a separate living area) to accomodate my children when they are with me.
I am an easy going 28yr old female named Madeline, everyone calls me Maddie. I work fulltime as a Medical Administrator working most evenings. I am also looking to start my degree in Nursing. I have a beautiful American Staffy that just turned 1 her name is Nala. She is a very easy going laid back dog. Who loves outdoor adventures and meeting new people and dogs along the way. She also enjoys cuddles on the couch. Im not much of a party person anymore but i still enjoy a quite drink with great company.
My name is Liz and I am a 31 year old female. I am a Full time Nurse, looking for a rental ASAP with Max of three people (including myself). I have experience in shared renting, love being social with my housemates, respectful of their person space, neat and tidy and always pays bills on time. Thanks Liz
Hey there, it's Ella here! I'm Looking for a house with a bungalow or a granny flat or some place that's a little more self contained. I'm a professional working full time at Tullamarine, I sometimes do early morning shifts, so that's why I'm looking for something that's a bit separate, so I can have some privacy and space from noise. I would prefer somewhere close-ish to the Ringroad so i can get to work easily. My ideal home would have a nice relaxed vibe, and be near parkland or have a backyard and garden. If you're looking at applying for new properties I'm also open to applying with you and going on a lease. I'm very down to earth, nice, polite and quiet. I'm respectful and do my best to keep my housemates happy and create a welcoming home. I have a greyhound, so I'm looking for a place where the other housemates wont have any other small fluffy pets. If you have another big dog they might get along okay. He's very nice and affectionate towards people, most people fall in love with him. About me: I like to do pottery and art, read, watch a lot of movies, and sometimes bake. At the moment i do rotating morning and afternoon shift, later on I'll be doing 24/7 roster work so I need a place that is nice and quiet.
I am self employed, easy to communicate with, flexible in a variety of households. I enjoy the outdoors, being creative, camping, reading, and working with my crew on various projects.
