Hi there! Jess and I have just signed the lease for our new home in Kensington! It’s a 3 bedroom house so we are looking for a friend to join us. In (honestly) my favourite tree lined street in Kensington, super close to Kensington train station, free on street parking and just around the corner from Macaulay road shops! The home has loads of character, super high ceilings and a backyard that I’m sure will get plenty of use for many a bev. The room on offer is the 3rd room, smaller than the other 2 which is reflected in the much lower price. It fits a queen size bed and bedside tables and has space for a free standing cupboard/clothes rack. Will probably suit someone without loads and loads of stuff as it definitely is the smaller room! A nice big window for plenty of light though. Jess and I have all the furnishings needed for the house but if you’re able to bring a kitchen table, outdoor table or BBQ.. major brownie points!! You’ll just need to bring your rooms furniture and you’re good to go. We’ll obviously do some rearranging too if you have furniture you want in the place! We take over the lease on March 1st, so have some time to find the right person to fit into our new home. The photos posted are from the real estate.... I think our furniture is much nicer so the place will look much more snazzy!. Let us know if you think this will suit you and we’ll organise a catch up. Annie & Jess
Hi there, I have a spacious queen size room in an executive townhouse in Kensington very close (5min) to the train station. Sharing with two other girls who are lovely, clean and quiet housemates, so we would prefer another female. The bedroom is available with a built in robe, queen bed, mattress, tallboy and side tables if needed. It also has a ceiling fan, ducted heating and loads of natural sunlight. The house is located in a leafy, quiet street walking distance to cafes, Kensington Recreation Centre, Maribyrnong River, showgrounds. The house itself is sunny and bright, is stylishly furnished and is in a very safe area. I am looking for a housemate who is very clean and quiet, pays bills and rent on time, and would treat my house like their home. My ideal housemate is someone who is friendly and sociable but more likely to go out with friends rather than entertain at home. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to check out the place! Sorry no pets, smokers or couples. :) The house is amazing and has... 2 Courtyards - one covered alfresco separate lounge evaporative cooling ducted heating extra storage space if needed large laundry with washing machine dishwasher powderoom downstairs garage spacious queen size room built in wardrobe ceiling fans in each bedroom
We're looking for somebody to move into the third bedroom of our lovely Kensington home that is available now! The place: 3 bed, 2 bath and 1 car, double storey townhouse just off the main strip with train station and bus a 3 min walk, plus lots of cool cafes and bar/restaurants. House is kept well presented and is fully furnished in communal areas. The room: The room avaliable is the smallest of the three and is unfortunately lacking a window, however, it does have a huge skylight and ceiling fan so you get good light and airflow. Room is unfurnished but previous housemate had fit in a queen bed + frame, bedside table, desk, chest of drawers and a shelving unit so there's plenty of space! Also has a generously sized built in wardrobe. As a bonus, due to the room being the smallest, you also get the private car park pictured. Rent is $796/month excluding bills and bond is one months rent.

I'm Hayley and I grew up in hawthorn and went to school at mlc. I've been in the north the last 5 years and am now in the west. I'm looking for a place inner west. I have worked for 11 years full time as a production assistant for a book and film production company but decided to follow my true passion, fashion. I have been doing modelling on and off for the past two years as well as studying it online. I'm also actively looking for work and receive centrelink. I am clean and tidy, reliable, respectful, friendly, easy going and trust worthy.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Hi! I'm Renee and my partner moving with me is Dan. We're looking for a place where we can be comfortable, make some new friends in our house mates and find a new home. We'd love somewhere that has a fun, relaxed atmosphere while still being clean, tidy and functional. We look forward to being able to spend quality time with our new housemates, sharing meals together, bingeing our favourite TV shows, or having a quiet night in playing board games and having a drink or two. We (especially me) love animals and would love it if you did too, a friendly dog or cat around the house would be no problem at all. A bit about us... We're moving down from Sydney as I am soon to start a Master of Genetic Counselling at Melbourne Uni! So I will be studying full time and working part time. Dan is a psychologist, currently working with young people, and will be working full time. As I am moving down for the start of uni I will be arriving from the end of January to mid February (date flexible). Dan will be finishing a few things up here in Sydney and hopefully moving down in March/April. We're both active people who love spending time outside (particularly hiking or bushwalking). I love to read, do fun crafty things like knitting (somehow my projects rarely get finished) and I love cooking/baking (my jams and chutnies are in high demand), I'm also mildly obsessed with dogs. Dan enjoys keeping fit and active (running, boxing classes and hopes to take up bike riding), and then likes to come home to relax watching Netflix or having a good chat. We're both quite left leaning and I'm veg (I guess technically pescatarian as I occasionally eat seafood) and Dan is happy to eat veg a lot of the time although he hasn't quite converted yet. We're also both definitely LQBTIQA+ friendly! If we sound like a good fit for your household please feel free to contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
I am a 21 year old student from the U.K and I'm gonna be in temporary accommodation from the 14th of Feb, but would like something longer term (4-6 months) to stay whilst I'm studying. A little about me, I enjoy exercise and like to go climbing/bouldering frequently. I enjoy relaxed evenings in, house meals and movie nights. I'm also up for trips into the city to go and see places/explore. Whilst in Melbourne I'm ideally gonna be working part-time and studying full time, so having a space to wind-down and chill is a priority. I am respectful of other peoples space, I am clean, tidy and an easy-going guy. Please drop me a message if you have a place, or looking for a team-up.
I'm a 22 year old from NZ currently living in Carlton for the past 2 years, and recently graduated with a construction management degree from UniMelb. I'm pretty chilled out, keen to meet new people, and willing to help out in the flat where necessary. Currently working part-time in retail, but on the look out for full-time work in the Melbourne construction industry. Big fan of many sports, and always keen to go on road trips every now and then. Ideally I'd like a place near amenities (ie: markets/public transport/gym/parks), but if the place and rent is good then we can work out something. If this sounds good to you, feel free to contact me. Cheers, Avi
I am a film-maker who is going to do a Masters in Media at RMIT.
Work full-time weekdays including some Saturdays. I am easy going, friendly and respect privacy. I usually keep it to myself but also enjoy socialising. Prefer to stay Mon-Fri and weekends I usually stay at mate's or back home.
Hello there! I am Chaira, 23 years old and I'm currently living and doing my masters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In November I will start my fulltime research internship at Orygen (located at Parkville) for 8 months. Therefore I'm looking for a nice and chill place to live per October with some nice roommates. Preferably the place shouldn't be too far away from the Orygen institute. About me: I'm an easy- going, very social, cozy and friendly roommate. I love meeting new people and making new memories! Further, I really like to cook, I love having coffees and drinks and I like to go out from time to time.
I'm moving to Melbourne from a small coastal town on the south coast of NSW called Batemans Bay🏄 I'm very easy going and friendly, I love a good chat but also value mine, and others, alone time🙂 I'm self employed at the moment but would also like to pick up some part-time work to supplement my income. After a busy day I like to wind down by putting on a record🎶 pouring myself a glass of scotch🍻 and playing chess. In my spare time I like to shoot photos📸 and work on my business💸
