UPDATE - we've found a flat. Thank you all for your messages!! Hi there, We are Ana and Arek, a well-travelled couple of professionals, who (after a good few years on the road and living in Japan, Norway, Australia, Scotland, Czech Republic and Germany) is now in Adelaide for a good while due to Arek's work in the film industry. We're looking for a room or a studio in CBD or North Adelaide, so Arek has a short commute to his work in post-production studio and with WiFi, so Ana can do some of her writing work from home. We're seasoned travellers with a great respect to others and we treat every place we live in with care. Enjoying good coffee, hiking, cooking, and swapping travel stories. Also, we are non-smokers and we don't have animals, so it's just the two of us. Looking for 6 months stay (or shorter) from mid September (ideally). Happy to share our references from AirBnB with those of you interested in flatsharing with us. Best, Ana and Arek
Hi there, I'm Evan. I enjoy being active outdoors - hiking, biking and climbing, and have a couple of hobbies to keep me busy through the week. My 9-5 is working as an engineer in the city. I enjoy new experiences and always chase them. As a housemate I am tidy, clean, respectful, fair, reasonable and considerate. I am also down for banter and fun. I am looking for someone who displays these same qualities. As for location, I would generally consider Kent Town, the CBD and Unley as my ideal. My move out date is not fixed, so I'm flexible for that. Hit me up if your keen to get a household started!
Hey there potential housemate :D I'm Ameen, the guy on the left. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile! Grab a coffee, because this will be a fun ride :p I've recently moved back from Melbourne to start a new engineering role in Adelaide after working in project management in Melbourne, and yes I'm originally from Adelaide! I've been house sharing for the last 4 years so I'm well aware of how things work around sharing the common areas and keeping to myself when needed. I like a clean house and I expect that all housemates split the workload equally. I love a good chat with people as I generally find that every person has a story to tell, but I also like to keep to myself. I enjoy dancing (hip hop, salsa, bachata and so on ), exercising, hiking, basketball, cooking, reading, meditating/mindfulness and personal development. I'm generally an outdoorsy person and I'll be working around 9 hrs a day from Mon--Fri so you won't get to see much until the weekend :D If I'm not working in retail ! I'm looking for a homie place where the housemates are open to each other ( the photo can tell you what kind of house dynamic we have here) and definitely not a party house as it doesn't suit my lifestyle. I prefer sitting down over a glass of wine and get to know you more. During my free time I'll probably be offering you some free salsa lessons or teaching you some cool moves to pull on the dance floor! Please reach out if you have any questions. Cheers, Ameen :)
Hi! I'm a 23yr old Male currently living in Adelaide city as VFX artist. I am looking for an apartment/flatmates/unit that suit my needs located close to the city or with easy transport to the inner city. I will be working Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm, I'm easy going and neat and am just looking for somewhere to live while I focus on my career.
Hi hello ideally looking to move into a chill, tidy, vibey, close-knit sharehouse. Currently working 9-5 at an engineering consultancy. I like house plants, outdoor activities, sports, op shopping and playing the guitar. I own a coffee machine (like a proper one). I don't own a car. I'm vego and like sharing meals with other people. I like keeping things aesthetic and clean and do not get rowdy at all.
I'm a 32 year old HR Manager who just moved to Adelaide in September. I have temporary accommodation until 10 October so will need to find a place prior to then. Looking for some social people to live with. Either happy to move into a pre-existing housewares, find a place with some others, or start my own :) If you have a place or are keen to team up to find a place let me know. I want at least a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, townhouse or apartment in a nice suburb, close to shops and preferably a bar or two.. (Adelaide, Bowden, Brompton, Norwood, Kent Town, Semaphoreand open to others). Reach out if you'd like to chat further. Cheers, Patrick
I am a young software dev from Canberra moving to Adelaide for an exciting job opportunity. I would like to meet some easy-going flatmates that can also help me get adjusted to living in a new city. I generally keep to myself but that doesn't mean I don't love going out or having a bit of banter. My interests include gym, hip-hop, video games and martial arts.
Full-time Master's Degree student. I am from Mexico and I am an easy going guy. I enjoy sharing time with others but at the same time I am really respectful to their space, likes and thoughts.
Hi! I'm Josh, a full time Bachelor of Nutrition and Food Sciences at UNISA (first year). I'm still employed with Defence and do reserve work throughout Adelaide, which is enough to support me comfortably in addition to Aus study (and have a tonne of savings). I'm a approachable, self aware, reasonable, transparent, adventurous and all round a friendly person. I'm also very clean/tidy (not a throw away statement, will give numbers of people to vouch for this if required), respect the space and ideals of others and will just do something that needs doing, rather than simply walk past it because "it's someone else's turn to do". I'm into hiking, cooking, music, photography, bouldering, chatty people, travel, coffee, gin and creativity. Ideally looking for people who want to actually be friends, rather than just housemates who only do their own thing. Either the room I'm allocated or somewhere else in the house needs to have space for a small study desk. Happy to househunt with people or move into a pre-existing arrangement (if there is transparency with the current house dynamics). If you'd like to catch up over a drink or coffee and have a chat, please hit me up! :) Josh
Young (28) professional moving from Canberra to Adelaide for work as a post production VFX artist! I will be moving between as early as the 23rd of September, and no later than the 7th of October. I will need a place to stay for at least 6 months, possibly longer. The closer to the city centre, the better. Why should you choose me as your new house mate? Have a handy list! I'm super laid back and relaxed, so you know I won't bring undue stress or tension to your home. I also have a full time job, so you know that I'm not a total bum either. I'm house broken. I clean up after myself, and sometimes others too. I have plenty of share house experience, so all these points have been put to the test. I am LGBTQI+ friendly. Professional quality hugs. I don't have a social network in Adelaide, so a fun house with inviting people would be preferable. I love all animals, and am very ok with pets being in the house too. HMU if my jib is cut the way you like it, or if you know of a band that could use a trumpet player.
Friendly, respectful, professional looking for a room close to the city/Norwood. I have a house down at Moana, but am looking to avoid the commute and rent an affordable room near work for Monday-Thursday every week! I'm a great housemate, clean, quiet and fun :)
