The house is old but cute, We have a large back yard with a veggie garden. It is 200 metres from the bus to the city and 900 from the tram. On a quiet leafy street, very safe. We are eco conscious. We share house work but do our own dishes and things. Pretty much if you make a mess clean it up.

I've just moved to Melbourne and looking for a place to call home, not a house to live in. I'm friendly, bubbly, energetic and enjoy having fun with friends. I'm tidy and respectful of others personal space. I love exercising and looking forward to exploring the sites and culinary delights of Melbourne on weekends, as I work full time Monday to Friday in Sales.
I am looking for a private, unfurnished room to move into ASAP: Abbotsford, Collingwood, Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Carlton North, Richmond etc. -Happy to pay up to $250 (more if the place is right). -Must have a parking space (either on street permit or off street). -would prefer own bathroom or only sharing with one other ABOUT ME: I am 23 and work for a pharmaceutical company in Abbotsford, in clinical trials. I like keeping active and am a bit of a yogi, but I also enjoy a good donut or five. Enjoy going on adventures and love trying out new cafes/restaurants. Partial to an espresso martini or two, a good cheese and wine night or a relaxed night in watching Netflix. I also enjoy lying in the sun reading books.....Looking for a house where the housemates enjoy spending time together, but of course also respectful of people's privacy and schedules. I'm neat and tidy and hope you are too. I have lived in share houses for the past five years. Message me if you'd like to know more, looking forward to hearing from you :) ALSO: I have a nice modern fridge, a 42in TV, a vacuum and iron/ironing board, that I can bring to the house if needed, but if not can store elsewhere.
My name is Kristy, I'm a designer, moving to Melbourne for a fantastic new job, arriving on June 4th. I'm a quiet, considerate and relatively tidy person, who has TWO PETS. a super affectionate 9yo Alaskan Malamute, named Kaiser and a 13yo cat called Toby. Kaiser needs a grassed secure backyard and would be fine with a medium to large size dog but no other cats. Other than that I'm pretty flexible with a shared bathroom, and suburb as long as it's close to a train that leads to Southern Cross Train Station, and a decent area. I like to take my dog out on weekends and I study part time so I tend to keep busy. I just want to live with an animal lover foremost and easy going friendly people. I have lived with a housemate who is now a great friend of mine. I'm available for property viewings from Tuesday 5th June onwards. My new job starts on June 18th so I'm hoping to find a great place before then.
1 bedroom available in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse with backyard located 2 minutes’ drive up the road from Kew junction/high St. Close to shops, cafes, gym, recreational facilities and park nearby. Public transport is within 5-10 min walk to either 109 or 48 tram stops. The room is well lit and sunny. The spacious room can fit a queen-bed and still have plenty of room for other furniture. The room includes a built-in wardrobe, with full length mirrors. If you are happy with the current furniture I can leave them for only $250. Bills are paid separately from rent, about every second month and are divided equally among house mates. Internet is unlimited and an additional cost. By the way no smokers or couples.
Hi, my name's Jack. Moved down from Queensland a couple months back looking for a place closer to the city and work. I studied my bachelor's of business management and IT and continuing on once settled here on Melbourne. I am very friendly, kind and clean who likes my own personal space, and cautious of someone else's. I love cook fresh heality food but love eating out. (Love slow cooking so if you're into that ) I am clean freaks who can't stand a messy house. I have my own car and transport but would prefer somewhere close to trains/trams. Looking for teamups/shares/rentals, depending on price & locaton. Please feel free to contact me anytime, thanks. :)
Hi there! My name is Grace and I'm currently looking for a warm and friendly home! I'm 25, currently working part time as a nurse and studying part time doing my postgraduate of emergency nursing. I love to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Keep mostly to myself, prefer to socialise with friend outside of home. I'm super clean. Respect that a house is shared and needs to be cared for.
Hey! I'm from Perth and moved to Melbourne to study earlier this year :) Am mature and respectful and while I am an introvert looking for a social household with people of similar age that enjoy eating/hanging together at the end of the day and that love a bit of banter etc, especially since I am new to the state! Love pets and had to leave mine in Perth so anywhere with animals is a plus! Don't mind smokers and am a pretty chilled and relaxed person who loves tea, comedies and memes (who doesn't) ps. ideally looking for open minded people with similar values (i.e not trump type ideologies) xx
Hi I'm Zaya, a laid back full-time worker from Perth, who loves cooking, quiet nights in watching movies, going to live music gigs, writing, and reading. I'm a pretty easy going and very clean person who respects other's privacy. Ideal renting place would have a furnished bedroom and (if I'm super lucky) an ensuite. But I'm not too fussed. Only must is easy access to public transport, as I don't drive. My current lease will be ending mid-July, so I'm looking for a place that will be available from end of June or start of July. Thanks :)
Hi! My name is Emma. I'm 26 years old and I'm a High School English Teacher looking for a team up. I've got permanent employment, basically an entire houses' worth of furniture, so all you'd need to bring is things for your own room (and maybe a dining table - thats the one thing I don't have) A little bit more about me: I am an introvert, though I am working on pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. I'm a massive nerd, and I have the following consoles which I am happy to share: SNES, WiiU, Switch, Xbox 360. Plus I am looking to get a Wii to play my extensive collection of Gamecube games and a PS4 to play the games I have of those too. I have a lot of books, and enjoy reading. My other hobbies include board games, table top games (DnD and the like), Movies and TV. I also have a pet cat, who's name is Snooker. She's a 4 year old Domestic Short Hair, all black with a little white splash. She loves napping, eating, and being petted then smacking your arm away for little to no reason. She's quite a social, vocal cat. You can pick her up, but she won't always like that, and you'll be covered in black fur if you do. I would be commuting to Macleod every day, leaving nice and early in the morning (7am) and not returning until the evening (past 5:30pm) so I will need somewhere to park my car. I won't be ready to move until school holidays which is starting from the 30th of June, so we would have lots of time to get to know each other. My ideal housemate is someone who is nice, clean, with stable employment too. I wouldn't mind someone I click with as friends and can hang out with occasionally, though would also be ok with doing their own things at times. I don't mind about gender, provided you're a decent, kind person. LGTBTI+ very welcome to message too! I enjoy cooking, mostly breakfast foods. I do like meal planning my week, but I wouldn't mind someone who would like to share meals from time to time. I'm also partial to the occasional drink, though I wouldn't like living with someone who wants to have people constantly over and for parties. That's just not me. I'm more of a low-key hangout person, and I'd like someone who's similar in that respect. People who enjoy bad puns would be more than welcome. If you don't enjoy bad puns and lame jokes... I might not be the house mate for you.
Hi! My names Lucy, a 20 year old criminology student at Latrobe! I grew up in regional NSW, and made the big move to the city a year ago. Have been living on residence but decided it’s time to move into my own space as I have outgrown res. I love watching the footy, occasional night out dancing and Netflix. I like keeping to myself, but also love hanging out with my roommates. I love meeting new people and being social! Very bubbly personality. I’m clean and respectful of other people’s space, this is definitely not my first share house, so I know the drill. Shout out if you’d like to live with me.
I've been wanting to move around the Melbourne area for quite some time now but just haven't found the right place or the right person/people to live with. I see myself as someone who is always happy, loves to have heaps of fun, although I do love my down time. I'll hopefully find a new job once I find the right place, and there is a possibility that I'll go back to studying. I'm easy to get along with and am always up to going out ... even though I'm told I need to save my money! I like to have a clean area, so preferably looking for others that can clean up after themselves and not make the place messy. I hope that not only will I find the right roommate but it would be nice to make a new friend too!

Hi There, I am Panda, the place I want to share has a good location and it is very quiet. Local supermarket is just a few minutes away and Woolworths is 2 blocks away. Public transport in right under your nose. Please notice that big room is for short term stay and small room is for long term stay.
Fabulous location in Kew and cafes nearby. Apartment is spacious, with 2 bedrooms ( One is occupied) an ensuite and fully furnished with washing machine, dishwasher and a fridge! I am currently moving back in with my dad, and so i'm looking for someone to take over my room. The rent is super reasonable given the location and surrounded by lots of vibing suburbs like Richmond. Room is available now, pm if interested.
IDEAL DATES: MOVE IN: MID JUNE, 1ST JULY, MID JULY (flexible) IDEAL LEASE UNTIL: Mid September 25 y/o from the UK making the most of a year in Australia! Not a typical partying backpacker, I have a stable job in a boarding school in Hawthorn and have settled into life here in Melbourne after arriving in Jan. I'm friendly, sociable and chilled out and will always pay rent on time and have years of house sharing experience :) My current lease is ending mid June so I plan to move around then but I can also be flexible until the middle of July. I stay at work overnight 2-3 times a week so I'm there a lot Monday-Thursday. I have Friday-Sunday off but work occasional weekends. As I spend a lot of time living at work, I’m looking to pay not much more than 200-250 a week including bills, if possible. I only need a 2-3 month sublet so I don’t want to join a lease if possible. I might be a good candidate for someone: who's going travelling for 2-4 months and wants to sublet their room/who has a spare room and wants a bit of extra income/a working holiday house. In mid September I'll be leaving Melbourne to travel more of this beautiful country! I am looking forward to getting to know friendly flatmates who are up for doing things together occasionally :) I love travelling and seeing new places in Australia so some weekends I'll be away- please join me if you're also up for exploring! I'm also a bit of a history nerd at times, into planning future travels and enjoy horse riding when I can. I'm often out in the city on a Friday night but I'm not noisy at night and don't come home particularly late. At the weekends I like brunching with friends, having some down time after a crazy week and attempting to exercise more! I have my own furniture if the room is unfurnished and also a bicycle which I would need to store outside somewhere. I won't need to use the kitchen in the week that much as I mainly eat at work (yay for less bills!) and wont need the bathroom in the mornings as I start work in the afternoon. If you have pets, I'd be happy to help look after them. Don't mind living with males or females. Low maintenance and chilled. Will clean and keep the place tidy. :) I've lived in house shares over the past 7 years. Ideally, I'd like to live with at least 2 others who I can chat with as well as just living together. Send me a message if you're looking for a new short-term housemate!
