Are you looking for a home that is a haven from the world? We're offering a quiet, comfortable room with a nice view in a well-appointed, spacious house sharing with 2 experienced flat sharers. We're friendly, but lead our own lives and will give you space. Our 3 bedroom townhouse is spread over 4 levels: it has a large kitchen with new appliances, sunny dining room, library, separate laundry, 2 bathrooms and a spacious and comfortable living room with art covered walls. Unlimited internet is available. There is a lovely courtyard, and a common garden area. Off-street parking is available. The 109 tram stops at the top of our driveway and we always get a seat for the 30-40 minute ride into town, or 15 minutes to Victoria Gardens.. We're also close to the 72 and the 16 trams. Glenferrie Road is a 5 minute walk and Kew Junction with 3 supermarkets is about 10 mins on foot. Our home is in a safe neighbourhood, and we're surrounded by beautiful tree lined streets. The room is available furnished or unfurnished, and can include the following furnishings depending on your needs: - comfortable double bed with a bedside table - Ikea wardrobe - desk and chair - large bookcase/shelves - reverse cycle air conditioning - glass door opening onto sunny balcony with pretty neighbourhood views - new blind - lovely plush carpet You will be sharing a bathroom with one other female flatmate who has quick showers. The water pressure is at Niagara Falls level with lots of hot water. Rent is $250 per week unfurnished (furnished is a bit higher depending on your needs). 2 months rent must be paid up front, and paid monthly in advance. Bond is not requested. Bills are up to $25 per week and cover unlimited internet, electricity and gas. This is an estimate and may change after bills are received. We haven't exceeded it yet. This room would be perfect for an LGBTIQ-friendly, university-educated person, who is working full-time. Non-smokers only. You are tidy, reliable, honest, pay your rent on time, self-sufficient, good communicator and clean up after yourself. Ideally, you are pretty casual and relaxed, and have a bit of a sense of humour as well.
Ozge- An open minded, environment friendly girl and also crazy about all animals (can’t choose either doggos or kitties). Working FT as engineer. Also loves to have a drink with homies and always keen to listen stories and share good vibes :) Basically I'm looking for a cozy place but also some good friends around to share the place I can call home. Stay length, dates, rent, bond, bills and everything else is just a detail and I'm very flexible with most of them. Please drop a message if you're interested

Hey, I'm Ruby! I'm 22 and am currently studying Media & Communications while also working in retail. I'm a vegetarian who ironically can cook you the best spaghetti meatballs of your life. I also can be found having a bev or ten on the weekend while tearing up the d-floor, but also love chill nights in with movies and pizzas and deep chats. I'm clean and tidy, super respectful of personal space and will always pay bills on time. I love to laugh and am sure to annoy you with memes every now and then. I also have a car so would prefer off-street parking, but can happily settle for on-street parking. Ideally looking for an unfurnished room in the Eastern suburbs under $160pw. I don't have any furniture to contribute to communal living spaces right now, but hope to tear up some op shops fairly soon. However, I do have a washing machine and about 45 million tupperware containers. Looking forward to finding the sharehouse of my dreams! :)
Hey, I'm Zarif, 24, an expat doing my Masters at Swinburne University of Technology. I am a laid back person who loves to talk about music, movies, tv shows, sports, photography and all things interesting. I am tidy and organized, polite in nature but love a good chat now and then. I'm independent and respect people and their privacy but always willing to socialize. In need of a good accommodation near my university if possible. Hope to hear from you :)
Hi! I'm a busy professional and student who spends six days a week either working in a dental surgery (in the office, not poking in your mouth) or studying psychology at Deakin Uni. Although I'm pretty focused on these priorities at the moment I do try and keep a balance by exercising, seeing friends for food/negronis, picnics, galleries, travel, hiking etc. other hobbies include patting dogs tied up outside supermarkets, picking ripe avocados, keeping houseplants alive and ruining white clothing in the wash. I'd love to be able to share a glass of wine and a chat of an evening and build a comfortable, communicative and respectful friendship with a future housemate! Let me know if that might be you, or if you would like to know anything more.
I’m Girish, working full-time in an IT company near city. Pretty much quiet, easygoing person and more than happy to have a friendly/casual conversation. Like to keep things neat and tidy. Not a party goer/doer but always up for a drink or couple. Respects everyone and their privacy. Expects the same from others.
Hey my name is Rene (I’m a dude though) I’m 25 and work full time as a mechanical plumber. I moved down to Melbourne earlier this year and lived by myself for a while, but to be honest it gets lonely and it’s expensive. I am looking to start saving for my own home and also find housemates who I would consider friends. I am fairly quiet but enjoy a chat when the opportunity presents itself, and I enjoy things being tidy. I don’t smoke, don’t have any pets (though I love animals so if you have any that’s awesome) and overall I think I’m pretty good to live/put up with. So if I sound like a good fit for your place let me know
I'm pretty involved with my health and fitness, gym and Jiu Jitsu, living a good active lifestyle, and hanging with friends. I've recently moved to this area so to be honest looking to meet some new people and make the most of Melbourne :)
Great cooks! Great Barista and Bartender! Love to spend time in the garden and love having a good time! Love to meet new ppl and go exploring!
I am a positive happy person who enjoys cooking, gardening and being in nature. I am clean and tidy and sociable and would love to share with more mature people. I am creative and have an online business in the fashion industry. I enjoy travelling for resourcing materials and usually spend time in Bali, NYC and Turkey at least twice a year. I am sociable and would enjoy living with someone who enjoys great food and a chat. I am respectful of other people’s space and I am very easy to live with.
*hey all a note on my silence I'm not ignoring you! I'm interested. However my phone has basically become glitchy and broken enough that it won't let me answer your messages. Getting new phone today and will contact you straight away . Cherries, cream and love, Cara. Im a hardworking Australian who is looking for a room, granny flat, bungalow or similar to make her new home. I am three months into my new job as a waitress at the Pancake Parlour and so I'm looking for somewhere within an hour of Melbourne cbd. In my spare time I write, bake cakes and make paper sculptures of animals. I am conscientious about rent and keeping a tidy and ordered home. What am I really like to live with? Calm, and with a tendency to have my head in the clouds. I don't drink, and I'm a bit of a hermit, so I don't like partying though I do like to chill. I smoke but I respect rules and will only ever do it outside. I like to treat people how I want to be treated. I love tidying so if you aren't that into cleaning yourself, I'll be a little whiz around the home. At the moment I'm only looking for a six month lease but I'm really flexible. Hoping to become your new star tenant.
