Starting in October, I will stay in Perth for a 5+ month paid fulltime internship in Welshpool in the industrial sector. I would describe myself as a proficient English speaker, but not free from minor faults and thus, willing to improve my English skills while being your flatmate. So far, I have lived in shared flats for the last 3 years both with males and females. As I have always enjoyed this type of living arrangement, I would like to spend my time in Perth and feel home in a shared flat, too. Thus, you can expect an experienced and respectful flatmate. The house is located in cloverdale close to the airport so great for fifo workers, curtin uni for students, 15 minutes to the city and belmont forum just down the road. Its an older style house with a swimming pool so great for summer and fully furnished. The room is located at the back of the house so its away from everything. Bathroom is shared. A very convenient location to stay in. Close to plenty of amenities. There is a bus stop outside on the main road and it's barely a minute walk to the bus stop from the house. ABOUT ROOM Rent for the room itself is $123/week and this does not include the bills. Bill for the internet is $17.50/month if you would like to be included (NBN with unlimited data). Other bills such as water, gas and electricity are shared equally within the house. The bills for those utilities usually come every 3 months and will thus be split evenly then. Room is fairly sized with a bed and a study desk already included. There is a fairly sized built in robe as well. ABOUT HOUSE The house is located within a complex of other units, closer to the end of the lot. It is a safe area and there has been no reports of any break ins or accidents or vandals so far. The house is very neat and clean. Future housemates are expected to keep it in the same condition. There are certain house rules and cleaning schedule that will be followed by every housemate to ensure that the house remains neat and clean. Furniture to the house and rooms have been provided by the house owner and it would be the best if they are left in the condition that they come in. There is an alfresco at the back of the house where we usually hang our laundry and there is a bit of a backyard space if you like to do your own gardening. If you require parking, there are off-street parking available at the entrance of the complex. This is completely safe as many other residents have parked there before. We expect you to participate in the house group chat so that we can communicate any problems efficiently. RENTAL FOR THE ROOM AND BILLS MUST BE PAID ON TIME.
