Looking for 2 rooms and secure parking for my ute and tools. I'm a self-employed carpenter. I live very clean and tidy. I keep fit, healthy and love to surf when I get the time. I'm divorced and have my 2 kids (8 and 12) stay over every second weekend. I've lived the last 2.5 years in a 3-bedroom townhouse in Wahroonga and can continue to stay there, however I would like to live closer to the city or beaches. I come with some furniture so a house would be better.
Full time employee in Luxury fashion. PC gamer. Prefer to do own meals then eat takeout. Always up for a chat but perfectly happy left to own devices. Weekends should see me skateboarding or seeing family so shouldn't be in anyone's way. OCD for cleanliness. Enjoy sharing our big, beautiful house for the cost of any other share accommodation - just minutes to Gordon shops and station and frequent buses to Macquarie University. Ours is an airy, bright and peaceful home in the middle of two sprawling gardens with remnant trees enjoyed by local birdlife. For short stays of less than 9 months the rate is a total of $300 weekly, which includes all bills and internet.

I will start my PhD at Macquarie university from February/March. So I will arrive in Sydney around end of February or the beginning of March, 2019. I would like to have my own room and own bathroom. I can share other parts of the house e.g. kitchen , living room etc with my house/flat mates. However, I would like privacy for my studies and hobbies. I will need a living place which is near to the Macquarie University. I am also okay with places which are near to the public transport facilities. About me : I am a friendly person but keep to myself most of the times. I like and prefer privacy. But I also like to enjoy a party every now and then. I am very particular about cleanliness and prefer a room which is easy to clean even in busy days of the week. I like trekking, hiking and traveling. I love eating good and healthy food. I am learning to cook, so I do a lot of cooking experiments when I am at home. Some of them are successful. :) I am also fond of gardens. I would like a place where I can grow a small garden. Do you already have a garden? This will definitely be an added bonus to the search for my room. Apart from all these, I love reading. *About the house* A freshly renovated furnished 2 bedrooms house. You will be living on the ground floor and we the house owners will be living on the top level. There is no internal access between the two levels and they are completely separate. The ground level has two bedrooms with built-ins, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Both rooms will be available from early March. You can either rent the whole place all bills inclusive for $595 a week (Discount rate can be provided for stays 6 months + stays) or individual rooms. The smaller room is $250 a week and the larger bedroom is $345 a week. Both rooms are available ATM so our preference is to rent out to a couple that is interested in the whole property. Please note: The special price of $595 which is just dropped by $100 is only for long term stays (6+ month) and two people. Any extra person would be an additional cost of $50 pp and short term stays may be an extra $50 a week also.
