I'm in my early 20s and a 2nd year student of policy studies at ANU. I work two paid jobs and have my next two volunteer positions lined up for 2018. For a long time now I've been living in a unilodge room. I decided not to apply for a new residential because I've had enough of hotel style accommodation and I'm looking for a home. I'm a student of French and Arabic. I'm very handy when things need doing. I'm not a very knowledgeable gardener but I grew up with a veggie garden and I'm a pretty good cook with fresh ingredients (thanks parents). I'm a hard worker but I love a drink and a chat when I can squeeze it in. As a nature lover, I can I try to head down to the snowys or out to the Shoalhaven area whenever I can. I'm very clean and I'm especially respectful of shared spaces. I grew up driving around Melbourne so I love Canberra 'traffic' :). I'm staying with a family in Pattaya for the next few days but ill be back in Aus mobile reception in a few days.
Hi I'm Nikki, I am a recent graduate of ANU from my masters degree. I am currently working full-time as a consultant :) I love both quiet nights and nights out. I enjoy having glasses of wine (in particular red) and eating cheese while watching movies or hanging out. I can cook well and I love cooking for other people and having dinner parties but there is also normally leftovers when I cook :) I am tidy, clean and pretty quiet but I enjoy banter and laughter. I clean up after myself and have experience living in a sharehouse with strangers. I also am a respectful person and understand when people need time to themselves.
Hey! My name is Bec, I am 25 years old and originally from Melbourne. I moved up to Canberra last year for a public service job. I have shared before in Melbourne and I'd love to find another place with a homely feel that is social and friendly, but I also appreciate some down time to myself. I am also clean and tidy. In my free time I like cooking, hiking, reading and hanging out with friends. I'll also be studying this year in addition to full time work so that will keep me busy.
I work full time for Federal Government, I've been told I'm a pretty chilled, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I am a Vegan (but I won't judge your lifestyle). I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic.
Friends call me Kichu. I'm moving to Australia from India for my PG @ ANU on Feb 1, 2018. I am a full time student and will be working part time. I like to sing, percuss and read. I am a good teacher and can talk about science, technology and Indian music for all day long. I love dogs (and cats) even though I don't have any. I play CoD and CSGo.
I have moved to Canberra for work. I will be working full time in the APS. I am generally a quite person who respects others space but I do love the odd sunday sesh or trip the pub. I also enjoy playing social sports, board games nights and settling down to a good book. I love going to watch live sport (especially rugby) and I'm hoping to get some trips up to the snow this winter.
Hi there! I'm Maddie and I'm moving from the central coast, NSW, to Canberra to study sports and exercise science at UC. I am looking for a place or to team up to find a place, to stay for at least 9 months up to a year to get myself comfortable with the area and to settle into Canberra. I'm a non-smoker, chilled, tidy and respectful of other people's things/space. I enjoy chatting and relaxing with friends but also respect personal space. My interests include sports, gaming and movie nights! I have no problems with pets of any kind. Please get in touch if interested! Cheers :)
A light and sunny townhouse in a great location. We're on quiet leafy street just a short walk to the Kingston foreshore and shops, with plenty of cafes around the area. The house is 4 bedrooms - with 2 bathrooms and a powder room attached to the laundry. We have all the usuals that you'd expect in 2018 - dishwasher, aircon, NBN, washing machine and a fiddle leaf fig, so it's nice and homey. Although, the place came with 90s blue couches, but they're actually pretty comfy. Luckily, there's plenty of on-street parking, and the building has visitors spots which are usually free. We have courtyards at both the front and the back of the house, so plenty of spots for outdoor dinners and bbqs or just afternoon lazing with a vino. Lastly, we have HEAPS of storage space. We've got a garage, 2 linen closets, as well as storage up in the attic.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
I have lived in Canberra for four years and am living in Unilodge right now. I have stayed in my 7- bedroom share apartment for three years and I passed every cleaniess inspection. Moreover, I maintain a good relationship with all my roommates, both gentlemen and ladles. In addition, I also paid all my rent on time and have a sufficient deposit to pay my future rent at least for three years
We love to keep the house clean and basic hygiene will be well taken care of. Mold is not our friend. Healthy home cooked food, anyone? And more healthy cakes/ muffins for treats? Organic herbs in pot such as mint, apple mint, parsley, chives? Organic vegetables in pot such as tomatoes, potatoes, spinach? Organic and sweet raspberries in pot? We are quite energy efficient, only used heating for a few hours at most in the evening during winter and used aircon to cool down the room when it is real hot. And the best way to cool down is a cold shower for us. Rarely has visitors or even stay over as we prefer to meet friends/ families in Melbourne. I am a trained counsellor while David is very sociable and works in Geoscience Australia. Furnishings we have to share on top of our room furnishings: Indoor: 23" TV with TV Box, Indoor Antenna, HP Envy printer, a foldable dining table, microwave, crock pot, rice cooker, kettle, vacuum cleaner etc. Optional: Outdoor: White table with 3 chairs, outdoor umbrella, umbrella stand. Garden: Shovel, garden fork, manual lawn mower, leaf blower. We do prefer house mates who are respectful to others, easy going and clean up after themselves.
I grew up in Brisbane, and relocated to Sydney in July 2017 for work, and have now decided to move to Canberra to study my Masters. At this stage I'm not sure what my working arrangements will be, but I am a lawyer, so I will be engaged in at least part time work during normal working hours in Canberra. I currently live in a four bedroom share house in Redfern, and have loved my experience here. I count my housemates among my closest friends. I'm usually always up for a chat, but completely understand the need for space. Let me know if you think I might be a good fit for your house!
Hi, I'm Kate. I'm originally from Newcastle but moved to Canberra in Feb 2017. I'll be starting my second year at the ANU studying a double degree in International Relations and Criminology. I work at an Irish pub in Civic so I work most evenings and Saturdays. When I have time between work and uni, I like to have a wine in the evenings and catch up with friends. I'm laidback, genuine and friendly and would enjoy a chat at the end of the day or the odd meal together every now and again. I respect people's privacy, the home and would be more than willing to pull my weight in cleaning. Looking forward to speaking with you - Cheers : )
Hi, I am Lee-chelle. I am starting a graduate position with the ACTPS in Feb 2018, looking to move end of January/early February. I'm friendly, considerate, easy-going and tidy. I love getting out and about, but also happy spending a quiet night in. I'm happy to pay a little extra for my own bathroom. Looking for a housemate as well as a friend :)
Melbournian-turned-Canberran working full time in government legal team and studying full time. Suffice it to say I'm not home very often, but when I am, I'm tidy, easy-going and am always keen for a bit of banter and to share meal with housemates. On top of being able to whip up some fairly yummy nibbles to share, my hobbies don't infringe on common spaces or contribute to noise pollution (reading, casual gaming, being generally boring and inoffensive). I'm also very aware of personal space, and like to have mine from time to time to unwind, and good at respecting that of my housemates. I'm also keen on teaming up on a lease, so if our price points/areas of interest/actual interests/anything else's line up, please feel free to send me a message and we can go from there!
Hey all, I'm 22 and a recent graduate moving to Canberra in 2018 for a full time job. I'm fun, respectful, and happy to hang out but also enjoy my own space. I am looking to move in somewhere for at least 12 months with people who are social, relaxed, and fun to be around. Send me a message if you have any questions :)

In my spare time I like getting out of the house and catching up with friends. I am always up for movie nights, house dinners or a few drinks on the weekend, but am also respectful of everyone's space and down time. I've lived on campus at university for three years so I’m used to chipping in and helping to keep things tidy and also love getting to know new people :). I have Just returned home from an overseas trip and am looking to move in as soon as possible!
My name is Hannah and I am moving down from Sydney for a full-time position with the APS In late January. I am a neat and tidy non-smoker, looking for shared accommodation for a minimum period of 1 year. I live a pretty active lifestyle and spend my free time out and about, hanging out with friends, and hitting the gym but will just as happily binge watch some TV from time to time. For the most part, I keep to myself however, my friends consider me a pretty good cook so I am happy to share a drink or meal some evenings to wind down if that’s your style. (As I’m a Canberra newbie, I’m keen to take any hot tips you might have!)
I am a friendly and sociable person. I enjoy meeting new people and expanding my group of friends. I am very clean and tidy. I love being outdoors and enjoy gardening. Some of my other interests include art in which I love to draw and paint as well as working on my current study/projects of graphic design. I like to read, watch movies/TV shows, listen to my records and play the occasional video games. I enjoy social nights out and comfy nights in. I am an American who has lived in Australia for 5 and half years on permanent residency.

I am moving to Canberra from Queensland to attend university. I am in my early 20’s who enjoys sports, chilling out, having a nice chat and going on a good adventure. I am a clean and tidy person who also respects people’s privacy. I am a very easy going person who gets alone with anyone.
