we are 2 brazilians students currently living in brisbane, we're moving to canberra only for work. our job should run for about 2 months. the workplace is located in phillip suburb. we're quite, organized, friendly and easy going.
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to begin an APS grad program in Barton. I finished uni in 2016, studying economics and writing. As a housemate, I like to socialise with wine, netflix, cooking and baking - i do a pretty fantastic vego lasagna! I would be working full time, and probably out exploring on my bike or in the national parks most weekends, so i won't be in your hair too much (but if you're also into these things, that would be awesome too). I currently volunteer as a animal handler and creative writer at RSPCA QLD, so I adore animals and will hopefully continue to volunteer somewhere in the ACT. I don't smoke or have any pets. I have a partner who is remaining in QLD until February, so he would come to stay occasionally. I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. I have a car so parking would be a plus, but not necessary. Let's chat!
There are not one but two rooms available in this pad! This townhouse is amazingly located – within walking distance of the old Kingston shops, the lake, Brodburger and the old bus depot markets (in fact you can pretty much see all those things from the driveway). It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living area, and a pretty large modern kitchen. It also has a great courtyard – perfect for brunch in the sunshine, or dinner parties in summer. The house has central heating, air-con in the living rooms, and ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms. Once my housemates move out house will be partly furnished but will also have room for a few more things! Both bedrooms are unfurnished and will share a large bathroom (complete with a spa (!)). They both comfortably fit queen beds and have built-in cupboards, plus more storage in the hall. There is also storage space in the garage. The place has secure parking. One room is $240 and the other $225. I'll be paying $285.
Excellent proximity to the Foreshore- the Dock is a hop, skip and a (drunken) jump away, as well as Old Kingston for your Egg and Bacon Roll needs on a hungover Sunday morning. The apartment is a fully furnished private rental. You don't need to bring a thing! New dual heating air conditioner installed this year to keep the apartment in ideal thermal conditions. Beautiful views over a private courtyard with BBQ available for the complex. The couch in the lounge room is the perfect spot for an afternoon nap in the sun looking out to the trees blooming. Spacious major bedroom with two (!!) mirrored floor to ceiling cupboards for your wares, and en suite. Ideally looking for someone to take over the lease from 14 October.
I'm a 25 year old professional working full time in the public service. I have a passion for health and fitness and train generally 5 times a week after work usually around 6pm to 8pm. I work normal hours and respect personal space and noise limits. I have been taught from a young age how to be clean and tidy from a Mother who was a domestic house cleaner lol. That being said, I am also very social and friendly, have no issues going for a beer with flatmates, cooking dinners for the house, kicking back and having a games night of monopoly (although that could cause a slight in the household :P). My hobbies are: Anything sports related, regular gym, PC gaming, tattoos (I'm quite heavily tattooed so if that intimidates you I might not be a great candidate to share with), fishing, camping, music and good movies :)
Young professional moving to Canberra to work on the Light Rail. Looking for house mates that want a clean, quiet place during the week. Looking for friendly people who dont mind a beer and a chat but also respect each others privacy. Will be down the snow most weekends when possible

I'm very clean and tidy, easy to get along with and respectful for others. I have a busy lifestyle. I work in the public service and also have a casual job on the weekend. So i'm not always home. Very active person..cant stay home all day doing nothing. It drives me crazy. I go to the gym almost every day and cook good food. I'm a bit of a kitchen hog when i'm doing my meal prep. I love to socialise and hang out with friends but also enjoy my alone time :) Looking for a housemate/s who is clean and tidy, easy going, non smoker. I prefer to live in a new or newish property. My current housemate is moving out end of this year and i'm looking to live closer to work (I work in Barton). I can move in any time basically. If anyone is looking to start a new share house, i'd be happy to do that as well! So pls message me :) Thanks Jess
Canberran born and bred. Have been living overseas for the past 2.5 years and just returned. Full time nurse and part time yoga teacher. I'll give you free health advice and stretches. On weekends I'm usually away or hurtling around Canberra.
I am clean and tidy. I am originally from Sydney, so will probably be making an often weekend trip to Sydney, so my flatmate can have the house to themselves. My Mum has taught me all the tricks of the trade in the kitchen, so I have a novel worth of Indian, Italian and Greek home recipes. I am moving to Canberra as a graduate in Feb 2018.
Moving from Sydney to Canberra to start a graduate program in January 2018. Looking for people to share accommodation with, preferably near to Kingston. I am a very easy-going and organised person. I love to have a laugh. I enjoy sport/gym, cafes, and a bit of nextflix. I am neat and tidy, and respectful of others peoples' space. I also enjoy a bit of banter and company. I will be new to Canberra, so it would be nice to find a housemate who has similar interests to me.
Fun, easy going guy who likes to cook, bqq, craft beer and red wine. I enjoy games, gaming, cycling and swimming.. ok.. not so much swimming, but being close to a pool would be great! I've travelling to Australia from Scotland to geek out working at Microsoft so looking for some short term accommodation while working in Canberra.
I moved from Perth to Canberra late last year, so my lease is up in early November (willing to double up on rent for a couple of weeks to secure the right place). I am a 22 year old accountant - not with the APS - how different! My interests include cooking and trying to get to Fitness First classes on time and generally spending time in the outdoors. I am friendly and approachable around the house but am also able to provide my housemates with space (we all need it!) at times. I like hanging out with my friends on weekends but usually don't take the party home. As for the house, I'd like my own bathroom (doesn't have to be an ensuite!) and undercover car spot, happy to talk about furniture because I have none at the moment. I'm generally clean and tidy and don't like much clutter around the house - having lived in a couple of share houses I understand the importance of being considerate in communal areas such as cleaning up in a timely manner. Ideally I'd only be sharing with one other person, no couples or pets sorry - just personal preference and allergies. Please let me know if you think I'd be a fit for your house!
Young professional living, studying and working full time in Canberra looking for a place to stay for 6+ months. Likes: brunch, Netflix, sleeping in, wine, bad horror movies, wine, burritos (team guzman and Gomez), pad thai. Dislikes: Magpies.
My flatmate is leaving over seas for 6 months for work and is renting his large master bedroom while he is gone. It's a large spacious apartment fully furnished with your own bathroom. The room is also fully furnished with queen bed, built in wardrobes, desk etc. All bills, Netflix and internet are included and there is a gym, pool and tennis courts.
I'm super clean, quiet, friendly and considerate of others. I'm moving down from sunny Brisbane in Queensland to set up life in Canberra. I will be working 2 part-time jobs and studying nutrition and sports science at the University of Canberra. My favourite things in accommodation is air and light and in my flatmates I REALLY appreciate cleanliness and kindness. I'm pretty outdoorsy and live and eat relatively healthy.
The accommodation is a renovated two bedroom, two bathroom apartment and is fully furnished, including a queens size bed in the room for rent. It's in a great location to Kingston shops and the bustling Foreshore. Public transport is a short walk away. The apartment complex has a pool, well appointed gym and tennis court. I have lived here for three years now and have absolutely loved it. Such a great location and the other residents are quiet and keep to themselves.
Easy going, respect others, clean and tidy. Study and work full time. Cooking, chats, socializing, languages, other cultures, quite time (me time your time) Flexible on rent and areas. Ideally looking to team up with another one person, I have furniture and can be used in the house. Flick me a message if you have any questions
