This quaint ‘old’ Kingston apartment is beautifully lit with plenty of natural sunlight during the day and is spacious for two people. It is in an enviable location, conveniently located right outside the bus stop on Wentworth Avenue, just 2 mins walk to the Kingston shops, 5 mins walk to the restaurants and bars of the Kingston foreshore, and 10 mins to Coles Manuka and the Manuka shops! The room that is available is well-lit with plenty of natural sunlight during the day, comfortably fits a double or queen bed, and has loads of wardrobe space.
Fantastic location in the middle of old Kingston - walking distance to Kingston shops, Manuka shops, and the Lake. The room can be offered with completely furnished or completely vacant. We have a communal rooftop balcony, herb garden and tennis court.
Hi there, This is Raju, I'm a doctor at Canberra Hospital. A little bit about myself, I usually leave early for work and occasionally have late/night shifts. I prefer housemates who are clean and tidy. I enjoy outdoor activities and play tennis once a week. I often read and keen to go out for brunch/coffee when I've time. I'm a big fan of stand up comedy and watch a lot of TV shows. I would like to move in next month if possible. I'm keen to find a new home. Cheers.
I'm an interior designer based in the city. When I'm not working, I keep busy with the arts, gym, hiking and socialising outside of the home. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet, but I do enjoy a chat here and there. Plus an occasional glass of wine or a coffee 🙂
Hi I'm Leilani, I'm 28 and a full time public servant working around the Barton area. I'm looking to share a place with anywhere up to 4 people to save money on living costs. Either an established share house for cheap with others (actual house preferably with a backyard) in inner north Canberra, or share a flat near the Barton area or / getting together and renting a new place. Would like to live with people who are friendly, don't mind a chat, a drink on the weekend or a netflix binge, but also value privacy. I absolutely love pets, so no issues if you already have a cat/dog. I'm very easy going, quiet, get along with everyone and I drive to Sydney every month or so on the weekend. Happy to team up with anyone, but preferably 20s-30s age group. I do have a fair bit of furniture I can bring with me including a couch/chair, fridge etc. I'll be looking to get a place end of December/ early Jan, if you're interested please contact me. Cheers :)
I'm coming to Canberra from Melbourne, leaving an academic career for a research job at Parliament House. That job starts on 6/1/20. I'm married, with a grown up family. My wife will likely come to stay weekends several times/year. I'm quiet, but not a recluse. I’m house trained, and am looking to be part of a well organised and tidy household. I go to bed fairly early, get up early. I like getting regular exercise - Pilates, yoga, etc. (In fact, I’m a recently qualified Pilates instructor.) I ride a bike. I like to go for long walks. I don't drink much, I eat simple/clean food.
My names Michael. Im a Young professional who will be joining APS in February and hoping to move to canberra in December. Im a quiet person who will like their personal space. - Im likely to stay with the place for a minimum of 18 months (I'm not an apartment jumper). - I'd have a car and would be willing to give you a lift to places if im also headed out. - I like a good chat, but im a very quiet person (you wont be hearing loud blaring music from my room disturbing you) - Id be down to clean with you or split the cost of a cleaner (whichever is your preference) - I've held numerous leadership positions throughout my career and university (as testament to my considerate personality) and would be very respectful to ensuring that we share a good relationship. - I never leave dirty dishes around and will take the initiative to bring out trash if its full. - I always pay rent on time. Hope this helps to illustrate that I would be a good roommate. Looking forward to your reply!
Hi I'm Lana and I'm a second year science student at ANU. I am originally from Darwin and travel back there multiple times a year. I'm currently on exchange in Leeds UK and am looking for accommodation when I come back in February 2020, although I am happy to start paying rent from January in order to secure a place. I am an extremely clean and tidy person and am very respectful of shared spaces, thus living with other people who are also clean is a big must for me. I enjoy a night out every now and then and getting food but I also knuckle down when I have work to do. I also enjoy a quiet night in with, Netflix or card/board games. I am a non-smoker, very sociable and am looking to live with like-minded people. I'm also a vegetarian and enjoy cooking, if you are also a veggie of some sort this is a plus. Living with girls would be preferable but not required. I am happy to pay rent of any price up to $300 per week, a furnished house (or apartment/unit/flat) is not required but internet is. Looking for places near ANU.
Just arrived back in Canberra after a working holiday in Melbourne. I am starting an initial 3 month job in federal government in Civic and urgently need accommodation. Love coffee culture, keeping fit, trying new eats and enjoying the relaxed Canberra Summer lifestyle 😎 Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have a suitable room immediately.
