Hi There, I'm an Interior Designer working full-time in Canberra. I am passionate about my work & end up putting in long hours from time to time. I exercise regularly & enjoy swimming & walking. I like my down time but enjoy socialising as well. I like a clean house & am always respectful of who I am living with. As a designer, you can be assured that our house will look amazing!
Hey :) I'm 29 years' old and work full time. I'm friendly and clean, and am looking for a place with similar flatmates. I study uni part time via correspondence which takes up some of my evenings, apart from that I like to cook, watch tv, exercise and go out for good food and wine.
Hi, I am 37 years old, Training & Development Specialist. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates. Prefer a furnished room with own bathroom in a furnished house/flat and access to gas stove, washing machine, fridge and wifi internet.
Hi! Looking for a short term roomie... The apartment sits on the top floor in a secure building, it has a balcony and large combined living area. No parking (but there are ways around that). Pretty convenient to it all. Everything is either new or less than 6 months old so just furnish your room as you like. Bedroom has wooden blinds and mirror built in wardrobe. As long as you don't have a massive bed frame, should be big enough for a queen bed (the air mattress in the photo is a queen) and small bedside.
We are a young couple working full time as well as studying full time online. We are easy going and enjoy watching a game of rugby, having a drink with friends, or going out for a nice bite to eat. We both work very hard and are clean and tidy. We look forward to moving in with someone who shares the same interests.
I'm from Melbourne and relocating for work as a project manager. I'm easy to live with. I don't smoke. I don't have any pets. I'm clean/tidy and will pull my weight with the chores. My cooking abilities range from pasta to waffles to more of the previous 😬 Im pretty laid back and looking for someone or multiple to chill out and have a laugh with. Male(s) or female(s), I'm not fussed.
Hi, my name is Stephen and I'm moving up to Canberra from Melbourne for work. I'm starting a 6 month contract role in financial services and looking for a place I can call home whilst in Canberra. I'm easy going, organised and friendly. Some of my favourite hobbies include squash, bike riding and vinyl collecting.
Hey there We're Ellie and Lachlan :) Young couple looking for a room either in a sharehouse or by ourselves. We're both friendly, good fun and responsible upstanding full time public servants. Ellie loves her netflix and cacao nibs while Lachlan loves cycling and dominos $5 pizzas. Collectively we don't have much furniture so furnished or unfurnished is OK. Get in touch if you like the sound of us! Ellie & Lachlan
Hi, I am mexican and just came to Sydney for studies and to work. I would love to live in a private room or double share. I am a very tidy person, and I am used to maintain the house clean. I don't party a lot but love to have fun and don't mind the noise. Basically I am looking to live with fun welcoming people and to have a good roommate bond!
Hi there, My name is Rashmi and I'm a 26 year old public servant working in the Parliamentary triangle. I'm looking to move into an existing share house, or to start a new lease with another awesome individual. I've been living in Canberra for 2 years, but am originally from Melbourne. I've been share housing for quite some time and consider myself really clean and tidy, respectful and very easy going. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie and absolutely love making food for my housemates and hosting dinner parties. I'm also pretty active and do enjoy checking out the beautiful scenery around Canberra. Coming from Melbourne, I'm often away on the weekend, so you would probably have the apartment to yourself a lot. Unfortunately I don't have any furniture besides that in my bedroom, so I would be looking to start a new lease with someone who has quite a few things, but would happily also purchase furniture if I can find the right fit in housemate. I'm looking for someone with a similar mindset, is fun, likes to have a glass of wine here and there and wouldn't mind having some Netflix binge sessions ;) My lease is up on the 12th of May, so am pretty keeeeeen to get the ball rolling. Please contact me and we can catch up for a coffee or glass of wine. Cheers :)
Im a happy easy to get along person. Responsible with paying rent on time and ive NEVER lost my bond in any way in 16 yrs of living from home. Considerate with others and their space but om quite sociable when needed. Im about to start my own Cleaning business so i am a clean tidy individual and i expect the same from others. I'll always pull my weight with house duties but im not a maid lol. I enjoy my own time and am quite comfortable around all personality types. I am a qualified PT so im fit and healthy and im not a slob. I get along with all walks of life. I love to cook and i love my sports. My cat Shadow is well house trained and adapts quickly with new people and her enviroment. I work from 6am to 12pm mon to fri and do casual shift work at the Raiders Gungahlin which so my work times there range from 4pm to 9pm which equals 38hrs per wk usually. I understand the need for quiet when living with others. If i sound like the right person you'd like to live with then feel free to message me. Thank you and i look forward to our first meet.
I am from the Gold Coast and work in Brisbane for a government department. I am transferring to a permanent position in Belconnen, Canberra (within the same department). I am friendly, considerate and respectful. I have lived in share houses before and I know how to clean up after myself and I'm considerate of others. I like to keep active during the week and enjoy down time on the weekend. Whether that be an after work drink on a Friday or eating out, catching up with friends or going to the beach on the weekend. I look forward to hearing from you 😊
I am a 37 year old professional. I am neat, tidy and peaceful. I am used to living with housemates and being flexible and accommodating. I am happy to provide references of past landlords.
My name is Tomas, I'm 25yo and I'm originally from Portugal. Moved to Sydney almost 4 years ago and I've been in Canberra for the past few months. I work as a night manager in a hotel in the city, so my hours are ridiculously weird, but I'm usually always up for dinner or a late lunch! I don't smoke or party a lot, mostly sleep to be honest. I come with Netflix that I'm happy to share. I'm very flexible for the move in dates. Let me know if you have a cool place for me! Thanks, Tomas
Single professional thinking of moving house when my current flat mate finds a place she'd like to buy. Easy going, enjoy a few drinks and a laugh, but keep it fairly low key on work nights. Also spend a bit of time away with work. Looking to move in with a like minded person. 6 month lease was just a number, would be happy to move in for a few months to see if it works first, and plan to be in Canberra for the next year or two.
Fun, active, lover of (red) wine, good food and yoga. I am a full time lawyer getting a 6 month rotation with my firm in the Canberra office. Would love to find a nice space and good people to live with as my home away from home. In my spare time you'll find me in a boxing or yoga studio, hiking or spending time with my friends. I am very social, but self-sufficient!
We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
Great company, not the cleanest freak you'll meet but I like to keep things tidy.. don't go out much anymore so you won't be having me waking you up 3 am in the morning drunk.. trying to join the army and just need a place to stay where it's easy to get around for work.
I am posting on behalf of a friend, so my profile is Narelle Smith, but my friend is Anthony (and the photo is of him). He's a great guy, looking for somewhere that he can have his own time as well as some company and meet new people. He doesn't mind a bevy or two and is great company. He's a decent, trustworthy, honest man with a heart of gold just looking for somewhere to call home for 6 months!! He's from Adelaide, works for DHS, and is a great person to be around.
Hi there! My name is Andrew and have just recently relocated back to Canberra from Melbourne. I am currently looking for a new place to call home with easy going and like-minded people. I'm 25 years old and work full time in marketing for Abode Hotels. I am a share house veteran, so rest-assured I know what It's like. I am tidy, organised, social but also respectful of other people. Due to my busy schedule, my week is fairly quiet. However I try and make the most of my weekends by eating out, seeing friends and just getting out and about. If you'd like to live with me then I'd love to hear from you! :)
