Hey! I'm Georgie, 24 years old and a full time student at ACU. I work casually in retail while studying, and am originally from Sydney. I'm a neat person who actually likes tidying up, very easy going, bubbly and friendly. I love both going out and socialising and a quiet night in to myself sometimes. I'm looking for somewhere with a room to myself, furnished or unfurnished, with friendly people, I don't have any pets of my own but I don't mind them at all! I have listed a 6 month lease option as I have no idea where I'll be after university, but as most of my friends are here, I'm pretty flexible in that area. Same with location as well!
Hi, my name is Joe. I'm a first year post grad medical student at ANU. I moved into Canberra at the start of the year and due to a change in circumstance I'm looking for long term accomodation. I'm keen to move in with my friend Tom. He is a public servant working for the department of Finance. We are both mid 20's, easy going guys who really just enjoy relaxing at home, unwinding over a beer. We're both keen Soccer players, and often spend our Saturday nights watching the premier league. I'm a keen cook and love cooking for housemates, so definitely keen for family Dinners. Anyway, we're both looking to move in sometime next week if that's ok. Please let me know if you want to know any more about me or Tom.
I work full time for the government and I'm also finishing up my PhD (somehow). I'm a keen cook and love making fresh pasta. I like going to the driving range to relax, and I'm trying to learn how to boulder. Easy going and neat, I have a lot of experience in share-houses. Always happy for a chat, shared dinner or watching a movie, but also happy to do my own thing. Looking for a relaxed and friendly home with neat housemates. Pets are always a plus!
I moved to Canberra a little over 3 years ago for work where I got a job as a public servent who works full time (mon-fri). I like to keep to myself but also enjoy hanging out with people with a drink or two. I also enjoy cooking, baking especially. When im home I will either be sewing, drawing or listening to music. Thanks for reading.
Pretty easygoing, tidy, and respectful of others' space. I'm moving to Canberra for work and will start mid-April. (Currently in Syd, so can come down to Canb on a weekend before mid-Apr, to meet you and see the place, before any decisions). Would like to explore the area, get outdoors, do some good walks and skiing. I'm looking for a place to stay for a minimum of 1 month, but ideally longer.
Public servant returning to Canberra in early/mid May after a few years abroad. Looking for a place in the inner-south, preferably two bedroom setup. Have some furniture. Very easy going, have lived in 3+ person flateshares in Canberra and Melbourne previously. I’m outgoing, tidy, and respectful of space and the need for privacy.
Hello, I'm Japanse female & 25 years old. I'm working at hotel as kitchen hand. I like cooking, exciting and watching movies. I'm staying at backpacker, so I'd like to find a share house as soon as possible.
I'm a 28 year from Cronulla, Sydney. I have been working as a solicitor for the past 4 years. When I'm not working I like be fit and active - running, ocean swimming and bush walking. I have been playing soccer since I was 6 and have followed Manchester United since they beat Bayern Munich in 1999 Champions League final. I like going to gigs and play the guitar (badly). I also like having a drink and some banter, watching movies and TV. I'm pretty much into all the standard stuff that people enjoy doing :)
I’m a very considerate, good-humoured public servant. Into music, film and the arts, but no party animal by any stretch, so also appreciate quiet. Do most of my socialising out and about and fairly low key. Work with intense content during the day, so somewhere with anyone who is also fun but respectful of a quiet living environment is great. Happy to consider sharing with anyone who fits that description!
Hi my name is Thibaut I'm a French traveller of 22 years old I come in Canberra for the work I would like to stay 2 month here. I'm open minded, I like to meet people but I'm also discreet and not invading. If my profil interest you send me a message :) Bye
I’m a post-grad Law Student who is currently travelling and returning back to Canberra late March. I’ll be working full time in the city, so would prefer one of the inner suburbs and am flexible with rent price. Low-maintenance, I love the outdoors, bouldering and travel to the coast pretty often so am not always around. Enjoy a drink and catch-up but completely respectful of space too. I do have furniture that is currently in storage but if the room is already furnished I’m fine with that too. Will be travelling to Germany in July this year for 6 weeks but am able to pay rent through this time. Have a car (which is not currently in Canberra), but also a commuter bike so also flexible on needing a parking space/on-street parking. :)
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Cheers,
We are two young professionals looking for 1-2 others to team up to sign up for a 3/4 bedroom house. We are both fairly clean/tidy, and are looking for someone who is friendly and up for having some good convos, and watching the odd movie or splitting a bottle of wine. If you're interested, send us a message and tell us a little about yourself. About Zac: I'm 23 year old public servant who enjoys reading, boardgames, netflix marathons and the occasional hike. I'm always up for having a good chat over a glass of wine. About John - I'm a young professional in my mid-20s moving to Canberra from Sydney to start as a graduate in the private sector. Outside of work I love to travel to try new foods, exercise and play video games. Hi! I am looking for a share house in central Canberra. I am hoping to meet new people who will be up for a chat and will watch corny tv shows and movies with me. I like keeping things nice and tidy and I will respect your personal space.
Hi there! I'm looking for a place with likeminded young professionals who also love to share a good meal and a wine (coffee lovers would be a bonus). I'm currently looking for full-time work as I've recently returned from living overseas. I have a very cute small/medium dog who will coming to Australia in 6 months, so it would be great if i could find a place where he would be welcome (worst case scenario he can stay with my family on the farm just outside Canberra). Very respectful of people's privacy and space, clean and organised and super friendly!
Hi I’m Georgia (GG), I work as a Communications Officer in the public service. I keep myself busy with sport/training, eating good food, and reading. I’m from Canberra so I make a great GPS or TripAdvisor.
I'm working as a doctor at Canberra Hospital. Looking for a peaceful and relatively modern place. Would be nice to have my own bathroom and prefer housemate(s) who are clean and tidy. When I have time after work and studies I enjoy outdoor activities and used to play tennis... Big fan of stand up comedy. Looking to move in during Easter +/- One week
G’day! I’m James and I am 22 originally from Sydney. I am moving to Canberra to start my new job as an airline pilot. I am relaxed and easy to get along with, as well as being neat and tidy. My hobbies include weightlifting, soccer (Love watching the Premier league), swimming, hiking, music/festivals, exploring cool bars and cafes, and attempting to cook. I also like cars, hence the preference for a garage spot - but I am pretty flexible with that. I am always keen to go out, drink and have a laugh, but will sometimes need to keep to myself to study for work. I will also be away from home for around a 8-10 days a month overnighting in other cities, which works well if you want some alone time.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.
Hello! I am Bri. Full time public servant at the Dept of the environment. Im pretty low key, I like hiking and yoga and reading and playing games (video and board games). Would like housemates I can hang with but who won't care if I disappear into my room for introvert time.
Still looking! Hi! I'm a friendly, 35+, and am looking for a new home. I will be starting a new job with the APS after 11 years overseas (7 years with the UN) and like to cook, read, binge netflix and see my home as a place of chill and 'good vibes' and tend to use this time to recharge rather than to party. I like to be friendly with my housemates so enjoy sharing a meal and a wine and chat but respect privacy and independence. I've a good sense of humour, am fairly relaxed about most things and respect diversity. I try to eat healthily most of the time and may want try out various new taste sensations in the kitchen (I clean up after myself!) which you may or may not want to get in on. Looking for a relaxed, tidy household with larger room pref with ensuite. Parking space a bonus!
