The house is very spacious 2 levels, with big veranda and garden. Plenty of space to entertain. It is located very close to a bus stop and only 1.3 km from train station and very privately at the end of the street. I am a very friendly professional male 38 years old and just recently bought this place. The area is very quiet and house surrounded by nature. Looking for a quiet, stress free place where I can live my life without any hassles. A place close to shopping centres, buses, train stations etc. I have my own furniture so a large sized room to suit a double bed, my computer tables, mini fridge & freezer would be ideal. If built ins cupboards are available with built in shelf space that would also be a big help. Air-con or ceiling fans would also be nice. I will be honest to say that I am on the pension at the moment due to some health issues I am dealing with, but I'm paying $150 per week including all utilities, where I am currently living in Marsden and my rent has always been paid earlier than the due time. When I am working, I work from home as a Freelance Multimedia Producer (have also worked in the Radio Industry) and I have a few projects I'm currently involved in, so finding a place with high speed internet and utilities included in the weekly rent would also be preferable. I am also a "Hard Core Gamer" (when I have the time) so finding other like minded people for LAN nights is always a plus. I also have a 4WD (which is my pride and joy) that I am currently restoring, so finding a place with a large backyard or acreage block with a large shed for storing my camping gear and my car parts would be helpful and appreciated. I am a very tidy person and I take pride in keeping the house and especially the kitchen very tidy and clean indeed! I can't stand a messy kitchen! I am also looking for a place that doesn't mind smoking in the house or in your own room (I burn incense to keep the place smelling nice). I am however, not a big drinker, so you won't ever find me drunk! I am an honest, friendly, respectful and quiet bloke who mostly keeps to himself. Even though there are five bedrooms, I am looking for only three people to occupy this area ($190 per person), so each person will have their own bathroom. There is a community laundry, kitchen and living room. It's a fairly large area so three people will have plenty of space if they so choose, with the two spare bedrooms being used as office or storage or even a private living room with TV. The other section on the ground floor of the house contains three bedrooms with one ensuite type shower and toilet. I am looking for either one or two people to rent this area ($300 for one person, $350 for two people). There is plenty of off street car parking available in a concrete area in front of the house, behind the front fence. Please note all rent prices include both electricity and water, which as everyone knows, is quite expensive these days. This house is located in the very best part of Slacks Creek in a quiet area on a large block of land going down to a flowing creek, with a park on the opposite side of the creek. You can't ask for much better than this in a big city. Those who like nature and going for walks will be well suited here. Yet in off peak periods, Brisbane CBD is only 15 minutes drive up the freeway. The Slacks Creek bus hub is less than one kilometre away. So transport options are good. The only request is that quieter type people are preferred, so that the other flatmates can equally enjoy the harmony here. Loud music or booming TV movies are fine, if you use headphones. (lol)
