I also work part-time as an undergrad engineer in the city (continuing into a full-time graduate role in October). Shawn is local and works full-time as a diesel mechanic on the south side. We’re looking for an unfurnished place with our own bathroom. Ideally with room to park off street (not a deal breaker though). Because of work locations, being close to a train line into the city is important. We’re pretty hard working Monday to Friday. In our spare time we mostly just like to chill out, cook, garden, go to the local markets, eat good food and road trip/4WD around. We’re not party-goers but enjoy catching up with mates and wines, beer and cheese nights. I'm a shift worker trying to get into Uni, starting (hopefully) my pathway program this July. I work 32 hours a week but for the last 3 months ive been doing 40+, 2pm to 10pm so if you a person that stays up late till 2-3am we'll match just fine with our sleeping patterns. i clean up after i cook and areas i use, don't expect me to clean an area which i don't share or use with others(I'm not your cleaner) but happy to give a house a clean down once a month or two, vacuum the floors once a week or when they get dirty, not looking for clean freaks( i lived with a bogan couple were his gf was one and a bitch/racist) and not looking for unhygienic people( lived with another couple soo bad you found something like 37 maggots on the floor 2 times a week at worse) I 'm either at work, out or watching/playing games in my room. a movie person so if you into going out , eating and watching I'm down for it. i only have stuff to furnish my room, don't mind teaming up and renting out a house but prefer a NEW HOUSE can help to buy stuff for the house(TV, couch, fridge, table, cooking ware) through time. good internet and it being reliable is a must. We are very close to public transport (2 minute walk) as well as shops (5 minute walk). The area is also a nice and quiet area. Internet is also included. The house has a fridge, washing machine, couch and TV in the shared loungeroom however the bedroom itself is unfurnished.
