Hey i am a 28yo australian guy, born in melbourne. I have just moved back to Sydney after working for a few years in QLD. Now all i need is nice house to come home to :) I'm a security systems installater and qualified locksmith working full time, so i work most days. I am a good housemate, used to living with other people, cleaning up after myself, being a respectful and quiet roommate and not partying or drinking except for a social drink if i have someone to accompany me :D - Willing to team up with 1 or 2 people to get lease a 2 or 3 bedroom place. Let me know if you are interested. - Im not a demanding house-mate like you get sometimes, when you cant see them without them starting a conversation about nothing or anything. I know when people want some peace and i hope the same would go for some ever i am living with. But i also have a lot of personality when its needed . Enough about me...
I'm looking for a housemate to share a light and airy 2 bedroom apartment. IT has a great aspect onto a reserve, nice balcony and the back area is nature reserve. It's close to transport but tucked away enough to be quite peaceful. Medium size bedroom, preference is for short term 3-6 months rental although happy to consider someone longerterm or looking for midweek stays only. For short stay (less than 3months) cost is $300/wk 2 minutes to city bound bus stop. 3-5 mins walk to local shops 10 min walk to Epping Road 20 minutes walk to Lane Cove shopping centre & Bus interchange 5km to North Shore Hospital 7km to Macquarie Hospital
I’m a relaxed soul, practicing the art of life balance with my gorgeous furry friend Arrow the labrador. We don’t want much, really - other than a lovely warm household to share space with. He is low maintenance and comes out with me every day (training as a Therapy Dog). As a therapist, I don’t see many clients face to face anymore as it is mostly on-line mentoring (which I do from home mid afternoons) or I”m teaching up at the local college. In the evenings I’m very chilled, but I do love to chat and have an occasional wine. Mostly up and outdoors by 8am for walk / hikes & yoga sessions, I do appreciate a quiet and private retreat kind of space. Ideally you have a room that is larger than average - or maybe a studio / granny flat duplex available? Also it would be ideal to have an outdoor area for Arrow and I to sit when we are home. Do we sound relaxed and friendly enough for your home?
Hey, come and check out our flat. It's in a lovely part of Lane Cove - there are lots of trees and parks around, and not much traffic. It's a short walk to the Lane Cove shops - supermarkets, restaurants and a variety of other shops. There is a bus stop at the end of the driveway, including quick buses to and from the city. The flat itself is pretty good, too - it's already got furniture, appliances and pretty fast internet. It's airy and full of natural light, with windows on three sides of the flat. The balcony has views over trees and a big BBQ - you can sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. The bedroom available is the larger one - it has a huge closet with plenty of storage space. It has lots of natural light with a window taking up most of one wall. The view is over trees. It also has a very comfortable queen size bed, a bedside table and a bookshelf.
I'm just a nerdy guy, working full-time at a software company in Pyrmont. I love cooking, reading, and classical music. I'm always down for a good chat, and I'm more than happy to give people their space :)
Large bedroom in three bedroom federation semi in Lane Cove. Room easily fits queen bed, side tables, mirror, chair and extra tables. Has a large 'walk in robe' (see in pictures). Is currently furnished but can be unfurnished if preferred. House has air-con, gas heating and fully appointed kitchen and laundry. Internet and Netflix included in rent. Buses to Chatswood and St Leonards at door. 10-15 mins to City by public transport, with only 5-10 minutes walk to Lane Cove bus interchange, the pub, eateries and shops of Lane Cove village. Plenty of parking in side streets. Share with the 40+ professional female , a fully employed male co-tenant and a lovable Staffordshire terrier. You'll need to like dogs. House has two stories and two large decks that look out over the Lane Cove valley, with a great sense of space. We never feel crowded or on top of each other. Have included pictures of dining area and top deck. There is also a large secure under house storage area for things like bicycles and sporting gear. Non-smoker, of either gender, who is clean and tidy welcome. Person of similar age preferred. Our preference is for someone over 35, however if someone younger comes along who fits, then we'll definitely consider it. The room is available for single person only. No couples or sharing. Bond is also a Bond - it will not be considered in lieu of the last 2 weeks of rent.
Japanese lives in Sydney! After a long term Private room :)
My names Ella. I am a great cook, helpful and considerate, creative, quiet and open. I work with two amazing companies, one who produces Australian Manuka honey, and another who sends out iPhone parts to get your phone fixed at work/home. I recently was studying Floristry, and am looking into returning or starting up my own business. I do commission art on the side, and am building up a collection of cards/art to sell online. I grew up in Sydney, and have travelled a fair bit. I am looking for a place for up to 6 months or longer. I am open to pets - I’ve previously been living with 2 dogs who were my housemates, and grew up with dogs and a cat too.
