$300/week•36 year old man
Hi everyone! I'm a 36 year old British/Aussie guy in search of a rental in the inner suburbs of Melbourne! I've been a housemate since I was 18 and I know how to respect the people I live with, establishing boundaries and creating a harmonious household. I'm super clean and an ally to the LGBT+ community and super super pet friendly. Health and fitness is very important to me. I'm academic, I taught myself Spanish and Portuguese and would love to practice with someone! I like hiking, gardening, general DIY stuff, practicing mindfulness, talking with people and establishing community. I did work as an electrician full time, Monday to Friday. However, I've recently had a motorcycle accident (16/04/25) resulting in about 14 wrist fractures. So right now I'm not working. 100% financially stable but right now my focus is recovery and unfortunately I have no family here! I can explain more through flatmates or in person. References can given explaining how easy going and reliable I am to live with! (Even with a broken hand) ☺️ I would prefer to live with 30+ non communal please but this is flexible! If you want to know a little more about me, please go ahead and send me a message!

$350/week•29 year old woman
I'm Julia and I'm currently looking for a cozy home. I'm originally from Germany but have been living abroad broad for quite a while now. I was in London for five years and now in Melbourne for the past two years. I'm pretty easy-going and have lived in shared houses before. Therefore, I do appreciate a respectful living situation where everyone can enjoy their downtime, but equally I'm open to the occasional flat dinners with a glass of wine movie nights :) In my spare time I'm quite active and always on the move - I love exploring new places, hiking, camping, swimming, watching sports (especially American football, spending way too much time on my fantasy league) and trying new meals with my friends. I just started a new role within HR over in Port Melbourne and I’ll be working hybrid with a couple of days in the office per week. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

(open to shorter/longer term stay, either from mid-dec or early jan) Hey future flatemate! I’m in my late 20s, working FT in the public service. I’m easygoing, don’t smoke, and like to keep my space clean. Always happy for a chat over a drink/coffee, but also respect downtime. I currently have a short-term stay until mid-December and am looking for a place after that. Since I’ll be overseas around Christmas, I’m open to moving in either mid-December or mid-January 2026. Ideally, somewhere within about a 2-30 minute drive of Moonee Ponds (that’s where my office will be). I’ll have a car so parking is a must. Furnished option is highly preferred, and if there’s a private bathroom that’s a bonus (but not a dealbreaker). Keen to find a good place with some chill housemates 🙂

$250/week•29 year old woman
Hi! I’m a 29-year-old Deaf woman from Japan, and I spent many years living in Toronto. I work as a pastry chef and am looking for a furnished room from late October to early November. I’d prefer to start with a short-term stay, with the possibility of extending if it’s a good fit for both sides (my plans may change early next year). I’m tidy, quiet, respectful, and a non-smoker.I enjoy baking, café hopping, beach walks, and learning about different cultures. I am Deaf and usually communicate by typing on my phone or writing on paper, and I’m currently learning Auslan. My preferred areas are Brunswick, Northcote, Thornbury, Coburg, and Preston (near Bell or Preston Station). I mainly prefer the northern suburbs, but I’m also open to Carlton or Parkville if the place has good access to both tram and train lines. Ideally, within 5-10 mins walk from the station or easy tram access to the city. My budget is around $250 per week, with all bills included. I’d love to live in a clean, calm home with respectful and easy-going housemates.
