Hey everyone, I’m Anita looking for a place to call home for the next 6 months. Currently working on launching a sustainable clothing label ideally I’d be looking for accommodation where I could also work from home 3/4 day a week. I also have a second job down on the peninsula and stay down there while I work, 3 days a week. I love pretty much any form of creativity including art, music, culture, gardening, cooking and the occasional glass of wine. I believe home should be a sanctuary, and prefer to live in a quiet, clean and plant filled space! I love animals, I’m vegan, a non-smoker and would love to share a home with someone who holds similar values :)
Standard sized fully furnished room (can be unfurnished if required) available NOW in a two bedroom home in Giblin Street, Lenah Valley. Home is fully furnished with all essentials, there is also a small fully fenced yard which will eventually house a dog. Short walk to Lenah Valley shopping precinct and bus stop. Rent includes water, moderate use of household consumables (TP, washing powder, etc.), and high speed internet. Power bills will be split equally. You will need to sign a lease till the 31.10.18 (with a possiblity to extend), and provide bond (4 weeks rent). Pets considered (unfortunately no cats or large dogs), couples considered but rent will be adjusted accordingly. I like to meet potential candidates in person before showing them the house, so If you are interested please send me a message with a bit about yourself and we'll organise something from there.
I currently have a large, bright bedroom available for rent in a (mostly) furnished 4 bedroom house, located in a quiet street on top of the hill with great mountain views and wallabies coming through every evening. The Bedroom has a built-in wardrobe and can come with a queen bed if required (shown in some of the pictures). The house has a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, open plan lounge room with afternoon sun, a huge deck and a bright clean bathroom with bath & shower. I also have a fenced backyard with fruit trees and a veggie patch (currently fallow), and the house is located within walking distance of the Lenah Valley cafes and shops and main bus stops. There is off-street parking for a small to medium car. Unlimited wifi is included - all other bills would be split evenly. There is also a semi self-contained downstairs living area which is not pictured, but would be available if desired. NB - Since I've just relocated from interstate some household furniture still needs to be acquired and it's a bit sparse and minimalist given the size of the house. I would be more than happy to consider a flatmate who has their own lounge suite and entertainment system.
Outgoing, sensible, average cook but always keen to try. Work will keep my busy so not looking for a party house. Have a 75" tv and a household of furniture and netflix. Either looking for a room with like minded people or to start a new place together with a person or couple. Females preferred sorry boys however I find them much cleaner and more respectful. Looking to move in around the 18th of April. Thanks Nick

We also like keeping a very clean, organised and well-run home. Veronica is an Australian returning home after 10 years living and studying in the US to start an research position at CSIRO studying the Southern Ocean. Outside of work Veronica likes cooking and baking, sewing, yoga, and growing veggies. Daniel is a software engineer from the US who has worked at various space startups and will be doing software consulting and writing open source software in Hobart. Hi, my name is Helen. I work as a nurse in a private practice in town. I moved here from Sydney 12mths ago and have had the great fortune of living in Battery Point for this time. I'm not able to move until end of June, this is when the lease is up. When I'm able to move, living somewhere still centrally located would be great.. I work Monday-Friday, so there wouldn't be an issue with me doing shift work and sleeping patterns conflicting with others. I am very tidy and keep shared spaces clean. I am considerate of others and, I feel, very easy to live with. I'm happy to be sociable with fellow housemates, but can also give others their space where needed. I'm not looking for a party house and I certainly wouldn't treat it as such. I have a bed and couch, but can store these if not needed. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
We are looking for a place to stay for my partners last few months in Australia,I lived in Sydney but now am going to join him on his travels. His visa expires the 1st of September, so we can only stay for 4 months. After that, we're going to the Netherlands. We are very easy going and open-minded. And as we just left Sydney together, we’re now looking for a job in Brisbane as well.
Hi! My name is Dipon and I am moving to Hobart to pursue my PhD studies in Microbiology from the University of Tasmania. As a person I am lively, friendly, likes company but respect privacy. My favorite past time activities are watching and playing football, outdoor activities, reading books and having a nice conversation.
Due to my current rental ending I am in search of another. I'm a pretty laid back person, a majority of my spare time is either spent studying or gaming. I am usually out most weekends and am a full time student. I enjoy baking when I can and am not messy at all. I would prefer something within walking distance to North Hobart, if that was the case my rent pw could be $160-170. If not then my rent pw would need to be $150. I enjoy my own space and would prefer people who do as well.
Like to stay busy, respectful, quiet, easy going and tidy. I have no pets and work Casually but have good/stable hours. Will always pay on time, no exceptions. Spend some time alone but always up for a chat, movie or the odd couple drinks. :)

Struggling to discover accommodation that feels like a home? Tired of being the only person who's willing to clean up after themselves? After house mates who will actually be your mate? Then look no further. Our home is clean, tidy and inflicts you with them good feels right from the get go. We're located a close 5 minute walk from Moonah's Main Road which will supply you with Supermarkets, Pharmacy's, Banks, Take-away Shops; you name it they've got it. You'll also find bus stops which will delivery you right into the city so if you're thinking "It looks nice but I don't drive and it's so far away eeeeek" then that is no excuse! Our home is stocked with all the necessary white goods (heat pump too) and soon to be furnished too. We moved in on the 4th of April with minimal furniture, however filling our home with scrumpscious furniture is high within our priorities list. There's a carport out the back with a spacious deck area that's just screaming to be filled by extraordinary & quirky vegetation, we encourage the spawning of pot plants so by all means don't hold back! In terms of the property itself we're really happy with the condition it's in: the kitchen + bathroom has recently been renovated, the walls + ceilings are all white creating a light and bright atmosphere and the house is big enough to have that balance of alone time and social. The room we're offering is 4.0x3.0m, big enough to share with your partner in crime. A portable wardrobe is situated in the room providing some storage for personal items, a largish cupboard in the hallway will provide extra storage if necessary. Our home is $420 a week, meaning with 2 extra homo-sapiens accommodated we'll all be splitting the rent for $105 each a week (3 people in total = $140.00). I've recently arranged a internet plan which is unlimited and only $60 a month yipppppeee!
