Hi ~ I'm Freya! I've just returned home to Melbourne after a year living in Portland, USA. I'm currently in the process of trying to move to Hobart, since I've just graduated my course in graphic design and am looking for a change of scene. I was born in Hobart and have some family there, so am hoping to spend the rest of my year in Hobart and suss out whether it feels like the right place for me! I'm 25 and have lived in two share houses since leaving school. The first was a big old place in Melbourne that I shared with four others, and the second a cute home in Portland with 3 of us, so I'm accustomed to sharing communal spaces and respect others boundaries. I am a dedicated tea drinker, enjoy music and art and the outdoors, specifically hiking and cycling and like to spend quiet hours in my room drawing, as well as having laughs around the dinner table if and when everyone in the house just feels like hanging out! I really feel that it's important to have a nice place to come home to, so am very conscious of keeping my houses well loved and maintained, as well as peaceful and homey! I'm open to a spontaneous move so am hoping to find a place by May! If you feel like I might be a good fit, please shoot me a message and we can chat! Thanks, from your potential future housemate Freya :)
Hiya! Derry Doyle here - an easy-to-live-with fella from Western Australia over here in Hobart to enjoy everything that Tasmania has to offer! Currently working as a tour guide, I love a bit of cooking, a bit of gardening, intelligent conversation and a bit of dancing and fun.
Fully furnished, room with SleepMakers Queen Bed and a double door wardrobe. Unlimited 100Mbps NBN included in rent. Chilled out and green suburb super close to the city. Breath-taking views of Mount Wellington. Low crime rates and friendly neighbours.
Hi there! We are Stacey, Emma and Grant, a 23 and 27-year-old girl and guy who are clean, easy going and looking for a like-minded person to join our home. We live in a sunny four-bedroom house located off Augusta road in Lenah Valley (it’s about a 10-minute drive from the city centre). The available room is large (actually huge) and includes a walk-in robe and its own deck. The house is fully furnished (the room is not), with a veggie garden and off the street parking. Rent is $130 p/w and the bills are split amongst the housemates (unlimited NBN, electricity and water).
I am looking for somewhere to live with my adorable friendly pooch Hank, who is a 4yr Staffy x Jack Russell who I rescued from the RSPCA. I am a friendly, young at heart, very quiet, clean, respectful easy going dog/animal lover and currently working part time (admin/secretary) but moving to full time work after Easter. I also wish to undertake study in the near future. I am financially secure to cover rent etc while working part time. I have recently returned to Tassie after living in Queensland for 6 months or so while caring for my mother who was ill. Hank & I love walking in the bush and dog beach/dog parks. We also love home time too. We are social but not partiers. My main priority is to find a secure & happy place to live for Hank, as he had a bit of a rough time before coming to live with me. Happy to talk to anyone, if we sound like we would be a good fit for your place. (Please note, unfortunately there is no internet access where I am currently staying so I may not respond to a message immediately but will do so as soon as I can.)

My name is Riley (M, 23) and I have been accepted last minute into a Masters of Music (Conducting) degree at UTAS and am looking for a place to reside. While I don’t have a job in Hobart yet (I’m in Newcastle, NSW) I have plenty of savings and have parents willing to go guarantor for my rent. –I can easily provide proof of both. I will be looking at getting a part-time job in the wine industry since that is my passion after music. Being a musician I will make a bit of noise from time to time but I’ve heard it’s mostly pleasant (I play Sax and Clarinet).
