Hello, I am Isaac, a 25 year old male Recently I moved back to Tasmania from Melbourne to live while I study nursing for the next two years. Prior to moving to Tasmania I worked as a paint mixer in Melbourne. I enjoy reading, music and being outdoors. I have lived in many share houses before and am very comfortable with the lifestyle and living with other people. Kind regards, Isaac
I'm relocating to Tasmania and would love to share a flat with easy-going, fun, open-minded people. I'm sociable and quiet at the same time. The party days are mostly over but I still enjoy some wine or cocktails every now and then. I'm very respectful of other people's privacy and expect the same of them. I love a clean environment and have no problem with sharing the chores. I will love it if you have a pet :) I'm into yoga, hiking, reading, cooking. Feel free to contact me and ask any other questions.
An awesome location that is quiet, but close enough to town that you can still walk in. It has some pretty sweet views, one bathroom ( with separate loo) and a cat that’s a total lurker. There is a bus stop close by, cafes , restaurants, supermarket etc. There’s a big back yard and off street parking if you can’t tackle the driveway- she’s pretty steep!
I am a finance professional and just moved to Hobart and setting up my own business. I am looking for a neat and clean room till I am able to finalise a house as I am myself quite particular about cleanliness.
Lovely home. Relaxed atmosphere. (Short term only- From Jan.3 to Jan.16) Good for summer vacation or you're still looking for perfect long term room.I reccomend that you could stay here first to know which area you like in Hobart.) Location is great. Less than 5 minute drive to North Hobart. 10 minute drive to the city. 3-5 minute walk to bus stop. 30 minute bus commute to UTAS. Walking distance to grocery store and 5-10 minute drive to Woolworths, Coles and K-Mart. Very convenient location on a lovely street. Giblin Street Home Guidelines Respect. It is crucial that everyone at home feels respected and comfortable. This is necessary for maintaining a calm and relaxed home environment. Privacy Be considerate of each others personal space. Bedrooms are off-limits to other housemates unless invited to enter. When people are in their own room and have their door closed, avoid disturbing them for non-urgent matters. Noise Keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 9am. Quiet time during these hours ensures everyone is able to try to relax and/or get rest/sleep in a calm and peaceful environment. Each Other Respect the time and energy of others. This is very important. Be considerate of others. Though everyone at home is kind and accommodating it is important to give each other space. Be mindful to not make too many requests or demands of another, of their time and energy. Cleanliness. Maintaining a clean living environment is important to me, particularly in communal areas. Kitchen Wash your dishes once finished using. Especially items like pots or pans which others may need to use as well. If in a hurry and you don’t have time to wash up before you leave the house, just make sure your dishes aren’t left in the sink overnight. Wipe the benches/stove top/table/sink after using. Bathroom Dry any wet areas of the floor with the floor towel/s after showering. Remove any of your hair from the drain that might have accumulated there after washing hair. Toilet Check to make sure it’s clean after using, especially during period time. Leave the door open after use so that others know that no one is inside. Garbage/Recycling Full garbage bags – from any of the bins – are to be placed in the smaller green wheelie bins out in the front yard. When the recycling box out the back is full, the items are to be placed in the wheelie bin with the yellow lid also out in front yard. Pups. This is his home too and it’s important we keep the home safe for him. He’s an integral part of the home. ALWAYS ensure the front door is locked and fully closed if leaving the house so that he doesn’t get out. Don’t leave any foods or medicines in places where he might be able to get to and consume them. He’s very good at sniffing out food so keep it stored safely away.
A bit about myself I am a 35 year old guy. Starting soon I will be doing Taxi Driving and Door to Door sales. Also Next year I will be doing a Aged Care course part time at the TAFE college in Warrane. I am a quiet, tidy, although friendly person and also I can supply references.

Hello everyone! I’m looking for a new place to live. I work 6 days a week at the moment between two jobs, one in a kitchen and one at a supermarket. I’m usually busy during the days but like to chill out on sundays and catch up with friends and such.I’ve always lived in Hobart and I’m flexible with housemates. Hi, I'm moving to Hobart in late January. I am a mature professional and work within the health care sector. I'm into running, cycling (I come with 2-3 bikes), hiking, swimming. I keep myself pretty busy and active. Overall I'm quiet and like a health living lifestyle. I do like to cook. I will be studying parttime whilst working. I'm pretty easy going. I am looking for something short term, whilst I find something long term. I'm flexible to live inner city, but ideally would like to find something a bit more rural (perhaps long term).
I am a 26 year old health professional. Relocating mid-late February 2019 Clean & easy going. Enjoy the occasional social gathering but mostly keep to myself. Keen outdoor adventurer (mostly hiking) and just starting to get into bouldering.
I am beginning my PhD with the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture in New Town in early December. Prior to this I worked as a Scientist in Agricultural Research and Development for one of the poppy companies. I have my own house in Launceston with my partner of 33 years, 3 cats and 6 chooks. I will be returning to Launceston most weekends. I am looking for a room in a share house for the 4-5 days that I am in Hobart studying. I am an easy going, tidy, accepting gay man who is not afraid of a bit of housework. I like to garden, chill in front of the TV, hit the beach and keep fit at the gym. Also looking forward to the opportunity to see a few bands that do not come up this way. I listen to Triple J and love the current crop of awesome Aussie bands.
We are both pretty relaxed and love the outdoors and the environment. We have lived in a few share houses in our time, so we know to be respectful, considerate and tidy. Our dog Otis (Kelpie) is 3 years old and is both indoor and outdoor trained. He has a gentle nature and is great with all people and other animals too. We both love all sorts of music, especially while relaxing with a cuppa listening to vinyl. Our weekends usually consist of bushwalks, looking for native flowers, attempting to boulder/rock climb, hanging out with family and friends, occasional movie marathons, yoga and crafternoons. I am currently on holidays for Uni. I started my first year of marine biology this year but have transferred to a degree at UTAS. Caitlyn works Full Time as a Park Ranger. We usually spend our afternoons taking Otis to the Dog park or dog beach and then having dinner and relaxing (usually board games, crafternoon or watching a series like Terrace House or Westworld). We are open to finding a place with some new people and making a home for us all or renting a room in a share house. Please feel free to send a message our way. Cait, Sax and Otis.
Hey there, I'm a pretty easy going person who loves the outdoors. I'm moving from Brisbane to Hobart for work so just looking for somewhere social and respectful to live. Original estate house built in 1913 (I believe), old home but cozy! Large bedrooms and close to New Town shops. Rent would be $400 a fortnight including power, water, internet and major meals - if you want snacks they are at your own expense however I love to cook so you will never go hungry! 2 weeks rent ($400) will need to be paid and you will need to be approved by our Real Estate agent, prior to moving in.
I’m a registered nurse who works night shifts at the RHH. I’m very active and enjoy exercising and keeping fit! I also like heading out to live music in Hobart. Am looking for a quiet household close to Hobart city. I’m from Launceston and have lived in Hobart for 5 years. I am very tidy, clean, friendly and social ☺️
Hi I am in the process of moving from Western Australia to Hobart to work in the Parks and Wildlife Service after many years working in WA Parks and Wildlife. I will be working full time and at the moment I am looking for somewhere to stay for between 1 to 2 months until my belongings arrive and i find a suitable place to stay in the long term. In the long term I am looking for somewhere that is pet friendly for me to bring over my one year old Kelpie x ridgeback (kelpie size) and preferably somewhere with a shed/workshop i can use. It would be great to find the perfect place to start with but initially I will be happy with somewhere to stay. When my belongings arrive I will have my own bed and some furniture and most importantly my coffee machine!!

Heyyy, I'm Luciana and I'm 23 years old. I'm currently working full-time in Melbourne and will be relocating to Tassie (Hobart) very soon for study purpose. I'm looking for a private room in a share house (for myself only) from prox. end of Jan/early of Feb onwards. Most of the time I will be out and about, but I will still up for wine-night and enjoy social/dinner time or movie night with housemates. However, I will be quiet in room majority of the time to relax/retreat or do my own work. I'd describe myself as an outgoing, responsible, nonsmoking and tidy person. I have experiences with living in a shared house and respect my housemates' privacy or house's rules. So it'd be ideal if I could find a lovely housemate-to-be have the same thought :) Cheers, Luci
