Hi Amazing people, I am leaving my room for 2 months from the 18/12/17 until the 12/02/18 so over the Christmas and NYE time. It could be the perfect place if you have your family or friends coming over to see you and you need a place for them to stay. It's very cheap for what it has to offers! Or if you just arrive in Australia and you need a cheap good place to stay until you find your own. This warehouse conversion is idealy located, close to the water ( and the bridge) and close to many parcs to relax in Summer. Few nice walks around and cafés, restaurant. There is either the bus or the lightrail to go to the city. If you need to know anything drop me a message :) cheers Lou

I've recently moved back to Sydney after living and working abroad the last few years. I'm a nurse and am studying a masters degree full-time. I'm self funded but also applying for some casual nursing work to fit in around the studies. I'm pretty easy going and like living with people who are happy to share a meal and a drink from time to time, but are also respectful of each others space.
Hi, I am a freelance graphic designer from Sydney. I do event work all over Australia but am looking for a base in Sydney for 2 months that could possibly extend. I am a social person with friends in Sydney, I think it's important to get to know my flat mate and I'd love to become friends... walking on eggshells into your own home is never fun for anyone. In saying that I also respect people's own space and understand the need as I myself replenish energy on my own and am very independent. I am clean (I grew up with a German mother) and take initiative with chores, I think I am a respectful person in general and therefore flatmate. I love to cook my own food, as diet is important to me, and I will no doubt be seen stretching and dancing around the flat now and then. Ideally I would like to share with one other person in a sunny flat where we have our own bathroom each. I hope to hear from you if I sound like a good fit. T
Conveniently located town house has a furnished bedroom available with queen-sized bed. The semi-detached town-house is situated well off the street in a quiet corner of a small complex of town houses. Neighbours are fairly quiet. I have a bedroom which is furnished. It contains; a queen-sized bed, chest of draws, side draws and built-in wardrobe. Extra storage space is available also. I may be able to work something out if you have any of your own furniture also. My house is located on the south-side of Lilyfield nicely tucked between Annandale and Leichhardt. There are good road and public transport links to both the City and surrounds. Shops, cinemas, parks, eating, drinking and two universities among other things are close. It’s a two-store house with two bedrooms upstairs and shared bathroom. On the ground level is the open plan living room and kitchen with the laundry and spare toilet. There is a court yard at the front with a garden running along the front side and back. There are also some trees that provide nice shade. Other features of the house include: - Unlimited broadband with entertainment pack (Fetch TV). - Netflix. - Front-load washer and dryer. - Private clothes drying area. - Dishwasher - Gas Heater - Barbecue - small shed - Plenty of free on-street parking (no parking permit required) - Lilyfield Light-rail is close. - 470 bus to Martin Place down street. - 370 bus to Coogee via Newtown is close also. ** Main household bills included with rent. Such as Power, water and Internet. Calculated using average bills last year for two people.
Located within 3 minutes to the North Leichhardt light rail and a short stroll to cafes and restaurants on bustling Norton Street. There is also an Organic farmers market within a 5 minute walk every Saturday morning, great place to grab a coffee and pick up some fruit and veg and possibly a sneaky bacon and egg roll! House is located on the quiet side of Norton Street with on street parking available. The bedroom up for offer has a double built in wardrobe and fits a queen size bed easily along with sets of drawers. it is on the large side so will accommodate most settings. You will be sharing a large bathroom with shower and bath (once again, very large!) so you wont be fighting for space anywhere. Clean and tidy kitchen, with separate dining and lounge room with internal laundry and a study nook. The house is 2 storeys and room is not an issue!
Hello, Elexis here, middle eastern, 26 year old gender fluid/gay, transfer student. I will be finishing my Bachelor Degree at Central Queensland University (Sydney). I am looking for accommodation that is affordable, LGBT friendly, clean and close to the University. I am very fond of skincare, make-up, arts, fashion and writing. I'm not looking for a party place, just a place where I can have my own space with humble and chill people, but I do like going out for occasional drinks or clubbing when I'm in the mood. I need a cozy, clean and tidy place, preferably a shared flat with roommates in a cozy apartment. I am very down-to-earth, clean, social respectful and easy to talk to. And I love meeting new people. Regards, Elexis
Hi! I'm a professonal shoemaker and living and working in Sydney in Leichhardt since April. I am always happy, easy going, creative and respectful for other people. I am tidy and very easy to live with. I am used to living with people for long time and I had always good experience with flatmates! I LOVE cooking, traveling, hiking, exploring, gardening and meet new people. I'm looking for a place where I can feel like home, and I also can cook, especially Japanese and European food and love to cook and eat together sometime with flat mates.
My townhouse is located in a quiet street on the Annandale side of Lilyfield. It is close to many amenities. It's walk away to Annandale & Rozelle shops, the Tramsheds, Orange Grove Markets and Norton Street. Lilyfield light rail station is an 8 min walk away and regular buses go into the city from a few blocks up the road. The townhouse is also close to an IGA & bottle shop. Your room has a nice leafy outlook with view of Centerpoint Tower and opens onto a balcony. The room comes furnished with a queen bed single, arm chair and built in wardrobe. The split level style of townhouse provides ample space & privacy for flat sharing. There is a share bathroom with an 2nd toilet off the kitchen. The outdoor courtyard has a BBQ and table. Stan and Netflix are included. Wifi, gas and electricity are not included and bills are split equally.
Med-Large room in an easy-going environment. A clean house in a quiet area. The place features a comfortable kitchen, bathroom (bath and shower), separate laundry, a large lounge room with adjoining open plan dining on one side. There is also a large balcony over looking the Bay Run and Iron Cove Bay. The room is unfurnished, a blank canvas for you to work with. The apartment is located 5 mins walk from bus stops and the Light Rail station. I am right next to the Bay Run and 3 mins from Leichhardt Pool/Gym. Great views, especially at sunset. Plenty of natural light.
I'm easy going, pay bills on time and enjoy getting to know people. My background is in visual arts but I work in Digital Marketing. On the weekends I'm out seeing friends and family, watching a movie, going to the markets. I like a good chat and happy giving people space. I'm house proud and have no problem keeping a place tidy, and I enjoy cooking. My wife and I separated a year ago so I'm looking to a place where I can be closer to our three awesome kids.
For my internship I am moving to Australia for six months, seeing what Australia has to offer. I am super easy-going and friendly, I love to meet new people and I am respectful to others and their privacy. I enjoy catching up with friends and family and I like socializing but I am also focused on my career goals. Beside that I like to explore new places in my spare time and have a drink sometimes. I am looking for a private room (or single room in a share house) for six months, from August 16th until approximately February 12th. It’s a massive bonus if my future flatmate has a lot of time to talk and travel with me! (:
This gorgeous newly renovated 2 bedroom home is situated in a quiet street minutes from Orange Grove Markets, Callan Park, Lilyfield Rd and Balmain Rd buses and Lilyfield light rail station and Westconnect. It has a modern gas kitchen, dishwasher. The open plan living and dining area with gas heater is fully furnished including stereo and TV. The bathroom has a separate shower and spa bath. The internal laundry has a washing machine and room for a dryer if you have one. The front of the house has a patio which overlooks the garden and street. The back courtyard may be accessed by 3 double bifold doors to take advantage of the sunny courtyard. Plus there is an automatic awning for those hot afternoons. Bills and internet to be shared equally.
Looking to move any time around mid October 2017. Looking for a house share situation not an apartment thanks. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
Hi, my name is Toni, I'm 34, I work full time at a branding agency and study part time (finish at the end of August). This keeps me busy during week. On the weekends when I'm not studying at uni, I either spend time catching up with friends or family. I enjoy spending time with friends whether its walking around the Bayrun or going out and dancing, exercise (just starting running at the beginning of the year and really loving it!) reading (anything but textbooks), going to Art Galleries and Museums, making things (why buy it when you can make it), cooking, gardening (succulents), as well as the occasional binge watch of a TV series. I'm looking to move into a house that is tidy, relaxed and sociable with the occasionally shared meal or drink but also appreciate and respect time for personal space.
Finishing up my last bit of uni in the next 6 months. I'm big on cleanliness (not neurotic) and I'm pretty quiet. Have been at the whole share house deal for about four years now, so if you're not kicking on after 3 on weeknights then we'll get on swell.
Hey! My name is John, and I'm looking for awesome people to live with in Sydney! A bit about me, I'm originally from outback Queensland, moved to Sydney at the start of 2016 for Work. I'm a pretty relaxed sort of guy, love getting out and about on the weekends to check out events or new things with mates. I love sport, photography, and travelling. I like to think I'm pretty easy to live with, clean up after myself and do my best to keep the communal areas clean. I love hanging out with my housemates if we are all home at the same time, but understand that sometimes, everyone just needs there own space. If you want to know anything else about me, shoot me a message! Talk soon. John
I'm an outgoing person that likes to go on adventures but also enjoy my alone time. I'm into movies, working out, theatre, the beach and going out on weekends. Im a very clean and private person. I study at UWS, work on Home and Away as an extra and a casual worker at a cafe so I will be reliable with paying rent on time. I prefer to live with girls and it would be a bonus if you had pets !
Im Dan. 24 year old physiotherapist working in Balmain. Looking for something closer to work because I'm sick of commuting. I like to keep fit, cook, read and enjoy the occasional netflix binge. Hoping to find somewhere thats a home rather than a house where everyone is friendly and we can wind down after a day at work together with a drink from time to time. Enjoy the occasional meal together but also can respect each other's privacy. Not looking for a party house. Cheers!
