I'm a uni student who works at a betting company, I can be social and respect people's privacy. I grew up in Darwin most of my life and I like talking about sports. I'm also a bit of a movie buff and I like cooking.

Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). I'd like to try a few different suburbs for 2-ish week periods while you may be looking for your perfect flatmate so I could fill in that gap for you too. I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. If I'm pissing you off, I'm more than happy for you to tell me so as I prefer to be up-front. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super CLEAN, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. My partner lives in Katherine so I will be away every now and then to visit but would also appreciate him being able to stay occasionally too. (He is an ex chef so this could also work in your favour as he doesn't have a kitchen where he is...) :) Being ex-hospitality and a female into sports I have many LGB friends. I am also well travelled so respectful of all communities and cultures (growing up in Sydney may also have something to do with both of those). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing and watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa and chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)
Full time working professional during the week. I enjoy camping, heading to markets, eating good food, a good book/jigsaw puzzle and socialising with good people I'm clean/tidy, easy going and looking for a chilled/fun houseshare!
Moving here to study. I'm an easy going, sociable and very chill dude. I love food so I either cook or go out on a food trip. I also like playing video games, watching movies and series. Down for laughs and chill hang outs.
Hey guys! I'm looking for a new place to live! I'm in Darwin at the moment, and I've been here since the start of the year, but I am looking for a new place with new people and good vibes. I'm an actor / comedian, and I work part time entertaining children in hospital. I enjoy a beer on the weekends, and I love getting out meeting new people. Look, so if you like bad Dad jokes and puns, I'm your guy! haha! I'm clean and always pay all my bills on time, respectful of people's work commitments, privacy and property, and I am pretty easy to get along with and am happy hanging out with people I live with, or having my own space too.
Hi my name is Sabine and I am a friendly and respectfull person. Unfortunately due to a floor issue in my current appartment I have to move out when work construction will commence. I am a landlord of a property in Perth myself and I will treat the place I live in with respect. I also run a cleaning business in Perth and you will get a very clean flatmate with me. I do like a quite and relaxed place and wish to share it with a nice person. No Alcoholics and druggies, had my share of that already. I am working in the tourism Industry and it would be important to come home and be able and rest after a long day at work. I do like sport, dancing and socialising but I will do that outsite my living space. At home I like to rest and chill. If anybody is a peacefull person, who like and cares for animals, nature and healthy living I would like to hear from you. I do love dogs and would be happy to share with someo e who has a dog, also happy to do free walks...
Are you looking for flat- / house- / roommate? WANTED: A place to stay near Rapid Creek, Darwin. The place doesn't have to be fully furnished but atleast a bed in the room and basic kitchen equipment would be needed. My budget is $250 AUD / week including all bills. I'm arriving to Darwin on the 20th of June 2018 and I intend to stay from 3 to 6 months working as a bartender. I already have an employer in Darwin. Since I'm in the hospitality business I mainly work during the evenings and weekends so if you want to invite friends over to spend the evening it's okay for me. And if I'm free from work I can teach you how to make perfect mojitos and margaritas to boost your night! Personally I like to spend my spare time with outdoor activities, hanging out with friends (if I manage to make any in Darwin) and relaxing by reading books & cocktail blogs, venturing in wikipedia & staring useless memes with my computer late at night after work. With my previous flatmates we had regular "club nights" as we called them, where everybody had shifts on preparing the dinner, and we spent the evening by playing videogames, watching sports / movies & talking about various things in life. More about myself: Former director got bored of Nordic set of values and career driven life. Now I'll be seeking my ikigai while wandering through the world. 29 years old and male. Smoker but trying to quit soon since that sin is so expensive in AU and I promised myself to quit smoking before the age of 30. No pets but I'm fine if you have as long as they are not hornets / wasps. I hate those bastards and when I see one I scream like a 7 year old girl, but otherwise I'm fearless. And I don't care if you are LGBT. I think your heart and how you treat other people defines you as a human. I'm outgoing person with good social skills and am really easily approachable. I have lived with roommates through most of my life and all of those girs / guys are like sisters and brothers to me. I'm really warm-hearted and compassionate, and I like to help others with the best of my ability. I am pretty straightforward but don't like to fight nor argue. I like to say things out loud that bother me and discuss things through. My sense of humor can be a bit weird but you'll get the hang of it in a short while. Sometimes I can be sarcastic and slip out some dark humor. I think nothing in life is too serious that you couldn't get silly and joke about it a little bit in an approriate time. I appreciate honesty so I'll admit that I can be a bit lazy sometimes in my spare time especially after a hard day at work. Rather than washing my plates and cups straight away I could forget them in the sink and choose to wash them tomorrow. But if those kind of things are super important to you we can work it out. :) I'm great to hang out with and like to spend time with my friends. I'm open-minded towards new activities and like to learn new skills and maintain what I already have. I like to have fun, joke around, get silly and do impulsive things but I also like having deep meaningful conversations and giving support to others if there is something bothering their mind. Favourite: Food: Asian, Mexican, Indian, Scandinavian. Not a vegan but love also vegetarian food when made properly. I like to cook. Sports: Football, Icehockey, Basketball. Wan't to learn the rules of Australian football, rugby and cricket! Hobbies: Snowboarding, scuba diving, occasionally gym and jogging. Would like to learn more surfing & joga (tried once) and salsa / other badass dancing. Passion: Food, cocktails, beer, good wines, hospitality (all less or more industry related). Dream: Sail around the world with friends and family. If you have a place to stay and see me as your possible flatmate, please give me a message. I can also provide reference and personal contact information of my previous flatmates.

"The Hunky-Dory Residence" is open 24/7 365 days a year! ;) And why not staying longer than just a couple days? Our apartment is located right above the Fannie Bay Shops, so your way to the Supermarket would be just a 2 mins walk, the pizzeria is right underneath and the next bus station and ATM are just 1 min away. But the best thing ever: the ocean is close to touch and perfect for viewing the sunset or fishing. So much to do for free within walking distance like tennis, walking track around the beautiful East Point Area, a public swimming pool (newly upgraded), horse racing track at Fannie Bay Club and a lot more. The backside of our apartment includes 4 lovely bedrooms (each around 15squaremetres), 2 shared bathrooms (the toilets are separated), a big shared commercial kitchen and another cosy kitchen on the other side of the house (fridges and facilities are supplied), a 360-terrace (smoking area) with a BBQ-grill, some push bikes for a sunset ride at East Point and a wonderful oceanview. The bedrooms are air-conditioned (plus fan) and furnished if you want and we prefer someone who could stay for a short/longterm term, means from 2 weeks to a max of 12+ months, but we can talk about it. ;)
Hello! We have a room to rent in our lovely, light-filled tropical home in Fannie Bay. We live close to East Point, about 100 metres from the ocean and surrounded by nature. It's in a lovely neighbourhood – close enough to the city to cycle in or a few minutes by car, and just a street or so away from public transport. We're about a 10 minute walk from the Fannie Bay shops and most of everything else you'll need is within easy reach. The room is small and unfurnished but easily fits a queen sized bed, a few other pieces of furniture and has built-in wardrobes. The house has several large communal areas and a big backyard with a pool. We also have a spare room for guests, and a cleaner who comes by once a fortnight.
Tropical partially elevated shared house in quiet and trendy Fannie bay. Recently renovated with a casual family feel. Cool outdoor area with pool and awesome grassed yard. Chickens will lay your breakfast every morning and pet our friendly duck Macka. We also have a cute Kelpy pup. Well located to busses, 5 min walk to Fannie bay shops, Coolspot, Trailer Boat Club and East PointCliffs. Only 5 min drive to the city !! Fully furnished house, with a shared room in house for casual family or friend visits.
Hey there! I am a 27 years old engineer, easygoing and friendly who enjoys being around people. I think people give the real meaning to places so I´m open to meet you and have some good bbq´s or whatever you want to share. I am willing to stay here for a few months so I´d love to live in a nice house that we could call "home". Anyway, I am very chilled and love books, sunsets and music. Would be great to share some good stories and food, if u are interested so give me a shout. Cheers!!
I am a Physio, so you will never have to put up with an injury again. My little whippet,Harvey, and I are looking for a place to call home. I work FIFO, two weeks on, two weeks off, so hopefully we won’t get sick of each other
Hey guys, We're a couple (o' legends) from Melbourne and have driven up to Darwin for work, better weather and a bit of adventure. We'll be living in Darwin for at least 6 months, potentially more, and we're looking for a fun-loving group of people to live with. We're pretty easy going, enjoy a beer and getting outdoors. We've sadly left 2 Staffy's at home, so we'd love a house with dogleys! I'm a paramedic, I love camping, picnics, coffee dates and ice cream. (I'm reading this and hear how ridiculous it sounds). Joel is a psych nurse, he's scared of spiders, snakes, sharks and everything else Australian and will probably kick my arse when he reads this, haha. He loves his AFL and follows Hawthorn. He's a die-hard beer fan, digs vinyl, skating and animals (except for the scary Australian ones). We understand the share-house etiquette, we're not wankers, we are self sufficient, will respect your space and always light a match. Give us a call
