I'm a 26 year old lawyer moving to Darwin to take up a 2 year position at Legal Aid :) I am originally from Sydney but have lived in Melbourne for the past 9 months, before that I volunteered in Darwin for 3 months, so I already know and am in love with the place. I am relaxed, easygoing, love cooking (especially baking), reading, hiking and fitness generally. I've rented with others for the past seven years. I've just bought a 4wd and am keen to go camping and bushwalking. I love to hang out with my housemates but also appreciate the need to have our own space! Looking for something long term but will also consider short term while I set myself up initially. I am driving up from Sydney and plan to arrive around 5 January 2017. I am available to chat/be interviewed over Skype!

I am looking for a room with a flexible stay, but I am aiming to stay for at least a min. of 2-3 months and potentially longer. Willing to pay up to $215 for a furnished room, preferred with bills included but am flexible. I'm a clean, quiet and respectful person but I do enjoy to socialize so I should be easy to get along with. Looking forward to hearing from you!

There's also a new washing machine, dryer, fridge, and stove. The room available for rent is a comfortable and fully furnished upstairs bedroom and includes a large screen internet TV, unlimited wifi, aircon, large built in wardrobes, a queen size bed and small private balcony. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful . Ideal for quiet-living person who values health and well-being. Non-smokers and light drinkers only and vegetarians or almost vegetarians preferred.
Short term only - Large room in tropical evevated share house, very spacious, a/c, with own bathroom (downstairs area). Outdoor area with large pool, walking distance to parap markets and east point. Rent negotiable.
My sister and I rented this beautiful unit for many reasons but mainly because we felt it to be a safe and quiet area, with facilities and water views all within walking distance. All rooms have new aircons and the unit is now furnished. We have nbn and someone to take care of the spa on a regular basis. Once you move in we will also arrange for a cleaner so there's no arguments over mess :)
Hi, I'm moving to Darwin at the beginning of next year for a new job with the Northern Territory government. I'm originally from Orange, NSW and studied in Canberra. I'm active and I like to keep myself busy. I have quite a bubbly personality and I'm a social person but I also like down time. I'd ideally like to find one house mate similar age and interests to share a 2 bedroom apartment with me. I'm very clean and tidy and I have almost enough furniture to furnish the entire apartment. I'm very friendly :-) weekend adventures and chats over tea or wine sound perfect to me :-) See you in Darwin!
I'm a bubbly, fun person and a full-time teacher. I'll be moving to Darwin on the 16th of December. I have spent the last 3 years teaching on Bathurst Island (60km north of Darwin). I've recently accepted a permanent job at a school in Palmerston. I have a gorgeous 2 year old mix-breed dog called Nala. She's an outside dog and loves everyone she meets. Well trained and brings a smile to everyone's face. She's fine inside but is generally an outdoor dog. I've lived in shared housing since moving to Bathurst Island and am clean, tidy and can adequately take care of myself :D I'm a big camper so love getting out exploring on the weekends but also enjoy a relaxed weekend and a few trips into town every so often. Just looking for a place (preferably with a yard) to move into. Not fussed with numbers or genders but would prefer to live with people between 20 and 35 :)
I've been living in a remote community in the NT for 2 years now and will be moving to Darwin in 2017 to begin my University degree. I'm originally from rural Victoria. I'm fun and outgoing, very friendly and have a very relaxed personality, making me easy to get along with. I am a very social person and love to keep myself busy on weekends, while also having my downtime. I enjoy being in the outdoors and am looking really forward to moving into Darwin in 2017.
Dear future house mates, My name is Candace :) I am 26 and is a full time teacher who is looking for a place to live with my dog, Bailey. I also love being active and doing activities :) If I seem like the right fit for your house/townhouse please do not hesitate to contact me !

Im looking at staying 4 months or longer depending on lease etc - I work full time and don't mind a couple of quiet drinks on the balcony at the end of the week. I also go out every now and then but in saying that I'm also respective and quiet, I'm also a clean and tidy person and I don't mind cooking every now and then. I don't watch t.v as much as I prefer music so I wont be in the way as much either.. If you are looking for some one that fits my description to move in, please get in touch. Cheers, Rob

Hey everyone! I am from Melbourne and planning on making the move to Darwin to start a full time new grad job in Parap around Jan 7th. It would be great to link up with one or a few people who are looking for somewhere to live that is centrally located, preferably with a balcony and pool. About myself: I am pretty laid back and love to get out and about. I have backpacked several years, enjoy guitar, exploring nature - and sharing banter over a good tea or cold beer. Although I will be working hard, I'd love to find a comfortable home with some mates that are also keen to find what Darwin has to offer! Shoot me a message, or give me a call if there's anything you'd like to know. Jordie

28 y/o full-time professional moving up from Melbourne for the foreseeable future. New to Darwin, although I have visited for work before so kind of know the area and know a few people here and there. Looking for a new place to share with some cool people, or a room in a house already full of them. Housemates are good, but if you're looking for someone friend-worthy as well, then we should talk. Ideally I am looking for 1-2 housemates. I like people... but not too many. What you can expect from me is mostly Netflix and Chill after work Mon-Fri, but assuming I make some friends and being Darwin, its safe to say I might head out for dinner or a drink on the weekend. I am not a party animal, I just like a normal level of social interaction. I have been living in a share house for the last few years, so I know the drill. I am tidy and I want to live with people who are the same. I can cook, so if you want to have a few meals together then I hope you can too. If you don't do the sharing thing then I am all for that too. I have been living in some pretty cool places so I have some reasonable chat to bring to the table pending you understand my sarcasm. I'll be coming up with a few things but don't have any big furniture yet, so if you're already set up that works for me. I am keen to split the cost for some furniture if you are in the same boat as me as well. Things I am looking for in my life besides a place to put the bed are a gym, a view, a good coffee, wine and some good food, not necessarily in that order. You can expect me to be doing most of those things on a regular basis. Ideal locations I have listed, but if you think your spot is closer to the things I have described above, then have a go at twisting my arm. Ideally I'd like somewhere with parking but if you know I can get parking on the street without losing my mind every day then let me know about that too. Own bathroom would be the cherry on top, but I will be working varying hours mon-fri so shouldn't get in your way either way.
I'm moving back to Darwin from Townsville mid January and looking for somewhere to live. Would prefer somewhere City/Casuarina area. I'll be finishing my last year of Education at uni and I will be working part time. I'm friendly, like a social drink on the weekend, enjoy cooking and the outdoors. No living with couples sorry. Don't mind sharing with guy or girls! :)
Great modern, bright apartment with AC in all bedrooms and living room. Balcony with fantastic views, secure off street parking, close to town. House is fully furnished, bedroom has large wardrobe and some shelving.
Hi we have a room available in a modern 3 bedroom apartment in woolner. It has a massive balcony and access to a good swimming pool. Less than 10 minutes into the city.you would be sharing a bathroom with one male housemate.
Hello future housemate! We live in a beautiful house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Woolner. The available bedroom is a very generous sized room. Tiled with built in robe, air-con and fan. The room is down the end of the hall with nice privacy from the rest of the house. You'll be sharing the bathroom with one other. The rest of the house is spacious, light and relaxed. Large kitchen and lounge area. The house is fully furnished and your room is up for negotiation with furniture. Wifi, Netflix and Power included, providing its a not massive bill! We have a dog and a kitten, both annoyingly friendly, so you must love animals.
Unfurnished room enough to fit a queen or king size bed with lots of space to spare, with built in robes and A/C and Fan. You will be sharing with 2 tradies. I would like to find someone around their twenties or thirties who works full time and is neat and tidy. It's just a minute walk away to bus stop and bus time would be around 10 minutes to Interchange, 5 min drive to city. House is not fully furnished yet, but working on it. Single - $180 aud includes netflix and internet The house is in a nice safe and quiet area. Off/on street parking available. Come have a look!

A community room is also available for parties etc. Barbecue is provided by the apartment owners... contact me on 0421072195
Looking for someone to join me in Bayview. Just moved into a breezy 3br flat on the top floor of an apartment block with secure parking, a couple of pools and a bay view. If you're looking to have a bit of space and keep a bathroom to yourself, the second bedroom is $250. If we want to save a few dollars and lease the third room, we can split more or less evenly and do $170 and $160 respectively (because the third room is a touch smaller). I'm happy either way, so if there are two of you looking we can definitely have a chat about it. The second bedroom has a private bathroom and its own balcony. All rooms have ceiling fans and aircon, although I haven't had to use the aircon in the living space much because of the breeze. I've brought everything except your bedroom/s, so if you're just getting up on your feet or don't have much of your own stuff, come and have a look. That said if you've got nicer lounges etc, I'm happy to work with that. I've just started a six month lease (but will look to stay longer if everything is working out), so looking for someone to jump on it with me. If this sounds like it suits please get in touch. I work reasonably flexible hours in the city, so if you want to catch up for a coffee or beer let me know.
