The house has a small paved, cute courtyard - great for entertaining. I have a barbecue you are welcome to use and a Webber too. There's a pot-bellied chiminea for a wood fire in the colder months as well. There’s an outdoor fridge, for drinks to go in when entertaining, and a chest freezer for overflow storage. Each section of the house can be closed off, handy if you want some separation from the dining room or lounge room activities. There is ducted, evaporative air conditioning throughout the house, and a gas heater in the lounge room for winter. I don't have a dryer for the laundry, but the washing machine I have is new and available for use by everyone. The outdoor line gets plenty of the breeze and sunshine to dry your clothes quickly. Bills have proven to be pretty cheap as I’m not home a lot to use the utilities. There are several nearby bus stops with routes directly (or via Morley) to the city or to the Beaufort Street Mt Lawley restaurant/bar/cafÃ© strip. The Galleria Shopping Centre is only a 15-minute walk away and there is a small IGA even closer for emergency items. Me? Iâ€™m a mellow, laid-back guy who is quietly spoken by nature but still very sociable. Iâ€™m a professional who does the regular Monday-Friday 9-5 thing. I enjoy making the most of the bar/restaurant scene with friends but when Iâ€™m home I enjoy cooking and I also love my wine â€“ although I rarely drink when Iâ€™m at home â€“ so I look forward to being able to share a glass of wine with a housemate at the end of the day to unwind from work.
