My name is Alyce and I am 23 years old. I'm moving to Adelaide from Sydney to start a PhD in agroecology. A bit about me: My motto in life is stay groovy, stay hydrated - it's done me well so far. I love plants. I love to boogie. I love hummus. I love board games. I love to skateboard. I won't leave dirty dishes in the sink and I won't hog the bathroom. I will go on bush walks though, and to the beach. I will also have a chat with you in the kitchen while I make us a cup of tea.
Two Irish friends that have moved to Australia recently and are in full time long term employment working 5/6 days a week in construction. We've known each other for years are both easy going, clean and respectful. Currently staying in a hostel but since we've started working it isn't ideal and would love our own/shared place to call home whilst we are in Adelaide. Looking for a place outside the CBD but with easy access to the city via bus/bike/car or walking distance would be great but not necessary. As we are new to the area I've just listed the locations near my workplace but we would be open to living elsewhere also.
Hey I'm a 21 year old uni student working at 1st Choice Liquor (can provide some household drinks) that is a bit of a nerd. My lease is coming to an end in early January and would like to move closer to work and uni. In my spare time I like to play games, watch netflix or catch up with friends. Would ideally like to rent with someone around my own age. If you have a place that I would be a good fit for or would like to look for a place to rent with me then send me a message.
We're a couple that has been doing the long distance thing for a year. We both have lived in Europe for many years, we actually met whilst living in Sweden! We're clean, quiet, love to cook and enjoy the outdoors. In 2019, we finally get to live with one another again. I'll be studying psychology full time and Leo will be working in computer science. We both have great rental histories and we are searching for a calm place with housemates who are mutually respectful so we can settle into a new city - hopefully make some good friends too. :)
I am 27 yrs old Phd Student and I work full-time. I am interested in movies, fitness and watching sports and cooking. I'm an easy going and (I think) easy person to live with. Equally happy to hang out or do my own thing. I work full time as a lawyer, based on Peel Street. I'm fairly active, play basketball, love hiking and going for runs. Also enjoy reading and playing guitar (in a non-annoying kind of way). Have plenty of experience living in share houses.
Hey! I'm 22, and looking for a room to rent. I'm a full time student and also work at a homewares store. I'm a very social person and love hanging out and meeting new people, but I also respect that everyone needs space sometimes! I love animals and Harry Potter, and my hobbies include bouldering with my mates and playing footy.
I'm a full time volunteer at my local Salvation Army, quiet, respectful, friendly and always willing to help. I'd preferrably like somewhere furnished, and on my own, like a granny flat, 1brm unit or studio. I am looking for long term and the move in date can be negotiated as well as lease length. I'm very easy going! Apart from volunteering I love to sew, do arts and crafts, and love music. Feel free to contact me if you'd like any more information about myself! Have a wonderful day!
Our home is in a quiet street in Fullarton with friendly neighbours, close to the city and Adelaide University's Waite College. There is a bike lane close by and it's only a 30 min walk to the CBD fringe. The 171 bus stop (3 min) to the city as well as two large supermarkets which are both in close walking distance. There are also cafe's and bakeries around the corner. Our's is a Classic Deco Adelaide stone home, it is air-conditioned, clean, and has high ceilings, polished floorboards, ornate features and big rooms. It's recently been redecorated and has a big established kitchen for everyone to use. We like to cook together if time permits. The kitchen has most appliances, including dishwasher, stovetop and coffee maker. There is a comfortable living area, entrance room, and a large bathroom with a separate laundry and w/c. Big, green front and rear gardens, BBQ. The room, is the large master, fully furnished with a double bed, a built in wardrobe, a huge desk, drawers, chairs etc. You will have three housemates, a female mid 20's, male early 20's students ,and myself: a friendly, older Australian male. We have a spare bicycle to help you get about. We are looking for a friendly, honest housemates who are non-smokers, no pets, willing to engage and share. We can provide references! Looking forward to hearing from you
Current full-time university student, working part time in the city. I am pretty laid back and enjoy relaxing at home or going out for good food. I am studying a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics and will graduate mid year 2022. So I would prefer to have a long term lease where i can finish my studies and decide where to go and what to do from there. I have lived away from home for about 8 months, on my own, before i started my studies, that said this is my first time that i will be sharing accommodation with anyone outside family. I work in hospitality, at a 5 star hotel, mostly in the evenings on the weekend, home by latest 00:00. I do get the occasional week where I'll be on mornings where I'll be up early, about 05:30ish but i am very considerate of this an can try my best to be a ninja when I leave or arrive home. I've always been a very tidy person and grew up in a household were you earn your keep by contributing to house work, so I am no stranger to chores in and around the house. Prefer organisation to chaos, so I am more than happy to work to any cooking and/or cleaning roster/schedule. I personally don't have any pets, but i have grown up with a family dog and fish tank, that said I do love both dogs and cats, and am more than happy to live with any sort of pets and help look after them. I have my own car and thoroughly maintain it, so either parking on the property or off street parking would be greatly advantageous and preferred. I have traveled/immigrated a bit through my teens, thanks to my fathers career, and am no stranger to meeting new people. I was born in South Africa, lived in New Zealand and finally settled here in Australia with my mother and brother. I speak fluent English, although i still do have a slight South African accent remaining, but that shouldn't hinder communication in anyway. I usually get along very well with everyone i meet and am quite friendly and polite, in general I am a quiet person and highly respect and appreciate my own as well as others privacy and space. However, i am more than happy to sit around a dinner table or lounge room engaging in good conversation, watching TV or eating food. I spend most of my time studying, playing video games, watching Netflix or Youtube and working out at a gym or playing sport when in season. Not sure what else i can say about myself besides that i look forward to meeting and getting to know my new house mates and hopefully lifetime friends :)
Hi. I am a student, will be studying at Flinders University as of next year. I am friendly, easy going, quiet, considerate and tidy. I was born in the Philippines. I came to Australia in 1983 with my family (mum and three brothers). Occasionally I go out with friends for coffees, movies, concerts and eating out but I stay at home most of the time. (Prefer unfurnished room)
I am a tidy and clean person who respects other’s privacy. I am pretty flexible and easy going. I do not bring any company home and will not be of a nuisance in any way. If you have pets, I’ll love them. I love any form of outdoor activities. I am good at cleaning up as well(:
Townhouse located 2 minutes to bus stop 3 and only 2.8 kilometers to the city Center (Victoria Square). Minutes to Hutt Street and South Parklands and a very safe suburb. Reverse Cycle air conditioning and entertainment area with BBQ at the rear. Two double bedrooms both with walk in ward robes. Use of all amenities
This lovely home built in 1900, has modern touches of ducted air conditioning in bedrooms & lounge. Shared single bathroom wth claw foot bath & shower with gas hot water. Located just off Unley Rd, it’s close to buses into the city or cheap taxi/Uber. It also has fruit trees to enjoy lovey fresh fruit. Internet currently not connected, but the NBN has just been introduced to the street and compatible with the house.
Fully furnished single bedroom in a very spacious, clean and comfortable townhouse. The location is excellent being walking distance to Unley shopping centre and many Unley Road cafes and restaurants. It is very close to the city (walking distance) and to city buses. Parkside is a great suburb with so many great restaurants, cafes, pubs, shopping, parks etc. Rent is based on single occupancy, and does not include bills. Short term and nightly stays are accepted. There are two other bedrooms so you will share with 2 other persons. Share bathroom with one other tenant. The house is fully furnished and fully equipped with washing machine, drier, fridges and kitchen appliances. Crockery/cutlery and cookware are also provided. Ducted air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living area provides year round comfort. There is also a gym area with new spin bike, weights bench, and barbell. Rent does not include a cleaner, so tenants need to keep their living space clean, and contribute to keeping the shared spaces clean on a weekly basis. Housemates are on 9-5 hours. Looking for someone quiet on weeknights after 11pm. We are up early weekday mornings. House is low chemical - no toxic cleaning products, sprays or perfumes allowed.
Hey, I'm Lauren & I'm 22 and moving with my 4 year old dog Narla due to my lease ending in December. I work full time in the car industry & am not home a whole lot. However I love to just hang out at home, cook & enjoy a vino when I get the chance. I'm wanting to live somewhere nice where I can have my own space but also enjoy living with other people. I am interested in teaming up with someone to find a property to rent where we can both get the sort of place we need. I'm also interested in renting a studio/flat & living alone if the price is right. Thanks! :)
I work part-time at Intercontinental Hotel, long hours mean I'm hardly home. I enjoy a wine to relax and am a friendly and clean housemate. Would love to find someone who wants to share a place with me as my lease runs out in the start of January.
My name is John, I'm a 29-year-old Scottish healthcare professional who has recently moved to Adelaide for work. I'm a coffee lover, vego foodie and enjoy good conversation. I'm into nature and the simple life. I've lived over 20 different people excluding family so I know the ropes of share houses. I have a contract until February 2020 so something longer term would suit but can also be flexible.
Hi ! I am a full-time working physiotherapist and a very happy-go-lucky person. I will help in household chores and keep it clean [very! I am a cleanliness freak!]. Also, I am almost always up for some socialising and equally mindful if you need your space. Looking forward to meeting you guys!
1 bedroom available in a spacious sharehouse with big rooms and two bathrooms. A good sized backyard which Oscar is amazing at keeping beautiful with the odd bit of produce coming from the veggie patch. Super close to the city and so reasonably priced!
I'm a big fan of travel, experiences, fitness, and socialising when I have the chance. I work a lot during the week, so I don't get much downtime, but a beer here and there goes down well. I'm fairly relaxed about most things and enjoy a good chat, but also like my downtime. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I have great references, and plenty of share house experience. I am pretty easy going, like to socialise but enjoy my own space as well. Hobbies include learning foreign languages and reading. Clean, tidy and respectful of the house I'm living in. Main requirement is a stable internet connection as I sometimes work from home as a software engineer. Outdoor hobbies include bike riding and fire dancing. Definitely not one to stay inside watching TV all day - I'm usually off trying to learn some obscure skill or 'nother.
I am a Registered Nurse - shift worker. I am down to earth and very easy to get along with. I love adventure, travel and being outdoors, usually find me at the beach or wakeboarding on the river during summer. I love catching up with friends, attending events and being social, going out for good food and a cocktail or two. I do like being social in a sharehouse as well as doing my own thing sometimes.
I’m clean, reliable with money, respectful and kind! I love a group meal and a chat. But I respect people’s space also! I work in hospo and study social work. I love music and art. I’m from Melbourne but moving to Adelaide!
Hey, I'm 25 and am looking to move around late Dec beginning of Jan. I have a small dog who is very low maintenance and well behaved. Loves a good cuddle and will warm to anyone. I work full time (8.30-5) for an insurance company. Love socialising but also love some down time :) Preferably would like a place in the eastern suburbs, but I am willing to move else where.
