Single, I have been living on the coast now for nearly 2 years in a flat share which I have loved in Cotton Tree As of recent, my flatmate has sadly decided to sell her flat and downgrade to somewhere more financially viable for her.(More than happy to provide a detailed reference) Looking for somewhere to call home. Preferably near where I work (Kon Tiki building - Maroochydore) I am in full time employment with the same company for 3 1/2 years now (Same company relocated me to Australia from the UK) I am very laid back, clean, and easy going. Love a chat, however I do like downtime to switch off and relax. In my space time here I am usually down the gym, running, mountain biking or sharing a beer with some friends. Would be great to hear from people even if it is just for a quick chat. Putting feelers out there as she will be selling the flat soon! Move in date relatively flexible as can stay at a friend’s short term whilst on the hunt. Little bit daunting as I have been extremely comfortable here, just looking for somewhere chill. We’ve been renting and living together now for the better part of 18months… we met when I advertised on flatmates and we found out that we wanted to be than just flatmates - Lucky us! We have a shy, quiet female tortoiseshell cat. Her name is Ezzie. Fully trained. Microchipped and vaccinated. INDOOR ONLY. She is respectful. She does take a bit of time to get settled in a new place but once she gets her bearings again she loves her cat tree gym and doesn’t claw up furniture or curtains and doesn’t knock anything off benches or tables… so your furniture is safe!! I can pay a pet bond too if that eases any doubts. Her favourite toy is an empty toilet roll lol and her squishy/crackly mice. We are into fitness! We enjoy peace and quiet. Long walks and long drives too. We’re social but we are happy blissful introverts and like to stay at home with our own hobbies. We’re respectful of each other and others in their space - we treat a place as if it were our own. We love to laugh so it’s not weird to hear us laughing away. We love to cook as well and we don’t smoke and hardly drink. Simon works casually in private property maintenance and I am currently shortlisted to return to full time work after having spent several months off to be with my mum when she passed away in July of this year (2025). I also have a sweet and well behaved mini polar bear that loves other humans, however is a bit more selective with the other dogs that she likes, so I would need somewhere that is pet friendly but also no other animals in the home.
