The brand new unit is 100 metres from Dulwich Hill Station. It's a sun-filled apartment with high end fittings (Reverse Air Con, Gas cooking etc). The spacious bedroom on offer has built-ins and a seperate bathroom. (Not en-suite) The room is available from the 15th Nov onwards. The house itself is fully furnished in exception to the room. You're also free to use the lock-up space in the garage. Please note, the garage is not included as I will need it for my car and motorcycle. This is not a party place, but more than happy to entertain friends and family occasionally. Hit me up for a coffee and we can chat up!
Hey, so I'm orginally from QLD but moved down here at the start of the year. I'm 20 and work a full time job as a bartender. I love to adventure and see new things, whenever I can. I enjoy chilling out with friends, working out, going to the beach and going out when I can. I'm easy going and enjoy meeting new people.
Personable, friendly and clean but mostly quite busy. I work in audit/professional line of service. 6 months and happy to stay longer if things work out
Hi everyone! My name is Kadir and I’m 27 years old mechanical engineer from Turkey. I will be living in Sydney and am looking for a private room for after 31st October. I 'll potentially stay long term. I’m a very social but considerate roommate and would love to live with likeminded housemates. My budget is between $200-$260 a week, bills included.
Hi there, I’m Lainie. I’m looking to live with people around the marrikville area for a few months. I’m easy to talk to and love a chat, I’m always happy to contribute to anything social happening around the house but also love my own space to read and have a cup of tea. I’m an operations manager for a tech company so work Monday - Friday pretty long hours so hardly around during daylight during the week. My weekends are usually spent with friends or recharging at home. I don’t rely on house mates to be my social outlet, but by no means am I a hermit. I’m super proud that I’ve never killed a house plant and I’m an expert at patting dogs.
I am from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and have been living in Sydney since April. I am working full time as a researcher at the University of Sydney. I am outgoing and like to cook, draw, do sports and meet new people, but also enjoy to hang out and relax at home. Looking for a new place until at least the end of March!
I’m a fun, bubbly 26 year old with a 3 year old cat named Pebbles. I'm a clean and respectful housemate who works from home part-time and part-time in Alexandria. I’m looking for a laid back house which is 420 and pet friendly. I would like a place where the housemates are keen to hang out and share the occasional dinner but also respectful of each other’s space. Also like to host a party or two throughout the year but not looking for a ‘party house’.
We are a couple, Winnie from Scotland and Brook from New Zealand. We met a few years ago in Sydney and have since lived in Scotland. We have decided to come back to Sydney to live as we both love it there. We arrive on 3rd January 2019, flights confirmed. We are looking for a double room from 3rd January. Length of stay is completely flexible for us. As it is over new year period, we are happy to accept short term lets / sublets to longer terms lets. We are both easy going people, very easy to get a long with, and very clean. We are considerate of our flatmates, and do our share in the house. We enjoy going to live music events, cooking, enjoying the city and also watching shows. We respect other people's privacy and would also enjoy chatting to our flatmates.
Hi! My name is Liam, I am a 21 year old university student studying Public Communications (advertising) at UTS. I'm currently working full-time/part-time at a small deli on the North Shore as an intermediary job until I move and find another job more suitable :). Some things I love are (I'll try my best to keep it short aha), going to live music gigs, having a good time with my mates, fashion, art, reading, running. I'm friendly, love meeting new people and having a good time. Im respectful and clean with both my room and shared rooms.
I am a law student from the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany and look forward to do a two month internship at Amnesty International in Sydney. I have an active lifestyle including sports, cooking and talking to each other. Back in Germany I spend my freetime playing Handball, chess and the piano, however I think Sydney might be a great opportunity to try out something new! Besides these activities it is important to me to have the opportunity to relax, read a book or listen to some music at home, so I absolutely respect it if flatmates need some quiet time as well. In Germany I have lived in a shareflat for two years, therefore I have some experience with this. Right now I am doing an exchange semester at Bangalore, India and enjoy the experience of Indias culture. During High School I have spent a whole year in the United States, so my English is fluent. Having gained such experience with adapting to a new environment I do not expect to have any trouble to settle in at Sydney. So I look forward to have a flatmate to talk to after work and cook or do something else together sometimes. However, everyone should have his/her own life at any time and a respectful distance should always remain.
Ahoy hoy! My name's Anthony, I'm 25 and I've just moved from Brisbane to Sydney for work. I work in retail and marketing fulltime in the city so I'm pretty happy and open to anywhere close(ish) to the CBD! I'm friendly and easy to get along with, have plenty of experience in a shared setting and like a clean place. I workout so I can eat and cook copious amounts of food and as much as I love a quiet night it (because let's face it, I'm getting old), I do love my nights out. I'm all about that fashion, dogs are my life, love me marvel movies (nerd alert) and a heap more. My ideal housemate (or housemates) would be of similar age (kinda) and have similar interests. Nothing exact though, I want to keep it interesting. I'm new to Sydney so I would love to explore what's on offer. Mainly keen on team ups, but if I sound like I'd be a good fit in your share house as well, let's talk business.
Hey my names Bobby and I’m originally from the UK but have been in Sydney for the last 4 years. I work full time as a nurse and I’m studying for a masters degree. I believe I’m considerate of others, social and like a clean home. In my spare time I like pretending to go to the gym, exploring Sydney and drinking too much coffee.
I am French living in Sydney for 5 years and convinced inner west lover. House wanted: Love a bit of outdoor space (need green colour!) and like a cosy, tidy but open minded environment. Cleanliness is important to me as well as fair split in household chores and but am quite happy with a few drinks here and there when opportunity comes up. About me: I work full time in the city as a market research consultant and am out quite a bit. I ride my bike absolutely everywhere, do boxing and rock climbing and like to socialise. Not much of TV watcher I'd rather loose myself in a good book.
I have lived on my own for the past 3 years. I am neat and tidy and I can say that I enjoy cleaning so don't worry about having a mess. I enjoy some company with friends but I can also keep to myself. If you want to know me, I love to talk and laugh and I would love to talk about anything. Learning more about other people makes me smile
I am moving back to Sydney after living in Canada for the past two years and Brendan is coming to brave the spiders from Canada on a Working Visa. We are both very friendly, fun, clean people who love a glass of wine. We love cooking and sharing our food with friends and bonus Brendan is 6'5 so he can reach all the top cupboards. I work in Media an have been working for a Radio station in Vancouver for the past two years so will be looking for something similar when I get back to Sydney and Brendan is in marketing and will be looking fo the same when he arrives. Looking for a fun, friendly environment to call home.
Looking to either find a good unfurnished room in a great share house or find cool, like-minded people to start a new share house with. Budget between $280 to $330. Originally from the UK, I'm moving to Sydney after five brilliant years in Brisbane. I am easy-going, creative, love my music and really looking forward to getting involved in what Sydney has to offer once I start my new job at USyd in Autism and Mental Health research. I like to live with people who all put together to make a happy household and share in the cleaning, the occasional meal or drinks together as well as sitting down to watch a good TV show or movie at the end of a long day every so often. Looking to live with people who eventually become friends. I have lived with housemates' cats and dogs over the years and love it.
Hi there, I'm Taylor and I'm a singer/songwriter and child-care worker, currently living in Marrickville. I'm a HUGE animal lover, and the only reason I'm looking to move from my amazing current house, where I rent, is because I am looking for a dog-friendly place to live. My rescue dog passed away 2 months ago and, although I'm still grieving, adopting another rescue doggy is definitely on the cards, so I'm looking to find a home where this option could be possible. My current house is filled with memories of my old dog, so it's getting more and more difficult to live here. Anyhoo, I'm friendly, efficient with rent/bills, very tidy and clean (I'm not a stickler, but I will definitely do my part, trust me!). I'm always happy to chat or happy to keep to myself, I listen to music, watch Youtube videos, I enjoy films, am laughing often and can poke fun at my daggy self (but I'm not down with poking fun at others). Happy to chat and discuss options if need be :) Thank you for reading and have an amazing day!
My name is Paolo and I am travelling to Australia together with my girlfriend Patience. I am 27 years old and I m from Italy. I am coming to Australia looking for a Job while my girlfriend is coming to study. I am very easygoing and flexible to share appartments, I have been living with other people since 2009! I am outgoing, sociable but respectful of other people space!
I am looking to rent private room in shared apartment/house with flatmate who already has lease of the apartment/house at Kogarah/Rockdale/Canterbury/Inner West area near by public transport. I am also open to other areas of Sydney. I am mature, employed, clean, respectful and considerate of others,an honest person who you can trust and feel safe while sharing the place.
Hi there, I’m Paul a easy going fun loving type of guy. 37 years of age working as a graphic designer and also do various other creative art work too. I have a passion for nature and the outdoors which turns myself into a bit of a green thumb when it come to gardening. I enjoy nothing more than picking my own produce to use with cooking. On the weekends I like to socialise with friends getting out and having a bit of sporadic fun.
looking for something long term and somewhere to call home. Im easy going and like socialising but also enjoy my own space and respect others. I currently work as a full time motor mechanic in Marrickville. all in all just looking for a good house with good people to live with.
My name is Shane and I work full-time in the marketing team of a video game publisher in Ultimo - dream job! ;) I love playing games, watching movies, chilling out and listening to music, going on hikes and hitting the beach. I enjoy keeping to myself but am always up to hang out or share a drink/meal. I like to keep my living spaces clean and am happy to get my hands dirty to maintain a place. I love meeting new people and going on adventures on the weekend :)
My name is Sabrina and I work full time as a retail manager. I am an easy going and sociable 29 year old. I enjoy having a chat, but also respect people's privacy. I love my fitness and health, and really enjoy cooking most days. I live a simple and relaxed lifestyle, try to get out into nature as much as I can with my pup! I also come with a fur baby called Toby, who is a beautiful cockerspaniel x cav. He gets along with most dogs, and is super quiet. Ideally I would like him to be allowed inside the house when I am home, as he loves human contact, but can be flexible to stay outside when I am out for the day. Dog lovers most appreciated!!
Hi! I'm a data scientist working weekdays 9-6 with lots on in the evenings: choir, rock climbing, swing dancing... I don't mind going out for a party or live music, but I like to chill at home with a book or Netflix. My superpower is seeking out good coffee, and I'm pretty clean & tidy, non-smoker, happy to live with pets, vegetarian, and travel a lot!
I'm a 25 year old PR professional looking to move closer to work. When at home, Im normally listening to music, binge watching YouTube and shows, and gaming. I'm super tidy and will mostly keep to myself, but would love to have dinner and drinks together. I'm also vegan and would love to cook plant-based meals for flatmates! When not at home, I love going to markets, eating out and generally spending time outside/in nature! Since gaming is a huge hobby, I'm looking for a place with a strong internet connection (damn Sydney), as I also livestream on Twitch from time to time. Anywhere with access to NBN is a huge bonus and I'm more than happy to chip in for the majority of the internet bill!
I am a USYD psychology student from regional Sydney looking for a place to call home closer to uni. I'm friendly, tidy, and accepting of everyone I love books and animals and spending time outdoors. Although I don't have any pets of my own, if my flatmates have pets I'd be very pleased.
Hi, I'm a first year uni student looking for a room close to the University of Sydney (Camperdown campus) to rent, I don't drive, looking for a place with a 30 minute or less one way travel on public transport. I love animals and would prefer a place that’s pet friendly so I could get a rescue dog, or better yet a place that already has pets. Contact me anytime and I'll try to get back to you ASAP, thanks.
Very laid back, considerate and generally pretty quiet guy. Those are all ideal tenant/roommate things right? During the work week I will like to lay low BUT I will try not to be a hermit MON-THURS if yours is a social house. Some wine and conversation will never go astray. Definitely up for fun on the weekends, going out, movie-nights, drinks etc but like I said I tend to like my space too..
I am clean, friendly and generally keep to myself although I don’t mind good conversation and having a laugh. I am mindful of privacy and always considerate of those I live with. I’m pretty cruisy and not uptight so I don’t mind living with social people as long as common curtesy goes both ways. Sometimes I work weird and long hours as I’ am self employed so I can work from home, a cafe or at my clients office. Next year I will be looking to take on studies so I need to down size. Currently I live and work in the city plus I can travel a bit so I would need to be close to a train station. Yes I am a smoker but I’m also very conscious about smell and cleanliness so that wouldn’t be a problem I just need a balcony. I do go out and enjoy a party but don’t worry I won’t bring that home with me, my partner and sister do visit me from time to time and will spend a night but I am very respectful of others space and mindful of noise. If you have any questions please feel free to message me :)
PRIVATE ROOM ONLY I'm a 23 year old female, super friendly and chill! Would love to live close to the city for work (Acting). Born and raised in Australia :) Would be awesome to live with fellow creative people but not a requirement! Pets are a huge PLUS, I would be so excited. Must be at least one other female living in the house, an all female house would be my preference but I don't mind at all if boyfriends are there!! I'm happy to live with people who want to keep to themselves but also happy to live with party animals too, I honestly don't mind, I'm pretty adaptable and will fit in either way. Happy to move in ASAP but can wait for a while if required. Would need to be okay with my boyfriend coming over because I LOVE HIM :D He won't be living there though! Also I am LGBT+ friendly.
We're considerate of other peoples needs, we don't throw massive parties or have a heap of guests over as we are naturally introverted. But we do enjoy the occasional drink and we love to hang out with fellow housemates. We do hold good livelihood standards but we are not too fussed about it. We respect other peoples privacy and boundaries, we're quite placid by nature and not confrontational as we are diplomatic about resolving issues that may surface. We're very receptive of persons from various cultures, alternative lifestyles and we embrace diversity. Our hobbies include cooking where we like to perform house cooks based on a national theme. We are great with pets too!
We are two young students currently studying, working and living in Sydney. We are both neat and tidy and respectful of others space. Usually busy with work and uni but love to socialise, catch a movie or head to the beach in our free time.
We are a couple, who always do our best to make other laughing, and keeping a good atmosphere. We achieve this by playing quitar, making jokes, listening to you :) I love a clean house, so I love to clean. We work full- time and Peter goes to school and works. We don´t smoke and we do not accept smoking in the house (outside it is fine). We will stay here at least till September 2019 so we search for a perfect rent (for a long term the best).
