'm an artist having completed my Bachelors at the National Art School (NAS). I am independent, like working on my own design/ fashion-business. I was born and raised in Newtown and love the area. I work at Parliament on King training refugees. I have my beautiful pet love bird "EGG' who keeps me company. We are a team. I need a place with light and quiet.
Stylish and modern, recently renovated, 3 bedroom house in the heart of Marrickville. Beautifully lit with natural light during the day and furnishings and renovations that have been exceptionally executed Marrickville is a great, relaxed suburb to live in with a cozy "village" feel about it. The home is minutes walk away from a variety of restaurants and cafes. The home is freshly painted throughout, with Foxtel in the main living room, outdoor area/court yard, new kitchen and bathroom, dining area, laundry, and sunroom. The house is three minutes walk to Marrickville Station or ten minutes walk to Sydenham station. it is a short train trip to the CBD, Kings Cross, Bondi Junction, Maroubra - basically you can get anywhere you need to in relatively short order. Buses also operate Illawarra Rd and Marrickville Rd for easy access to the city
Our house is a stones throw from several great cafes and we live five houses down from the pub. Marrickville markets operate every Sunday across the road and there is a bus stop into the city a five min walk away, although the train station takes longer.
My partner and i are both full time uni students and work more than 25+ hrs a week. I study a bachelor of Laws and a bachelor of Arts and Oliver studies photography. I work as a barista most days of the week , including weekends. Oli works as a bartender most nights. I enjoy painting, cooking & music. Oli enjoys photography, skateboarding and visiting friends. So we are usually out of the house, doing things & being busy. We are both well organised and tidy people ! We are super friendly, understanding and easy to be around. We understand that everyone needs their personal space, so we will respect your privacy😀
Hey i'm Chris! I am moving to Sydney from Canberra in July to start a full-time job in finance. I've lived in a number of sharehouses over the years so I'm looking for my next home with some great housemates. I haven't lived in Sydney before so I'll be a bit fresh to the city living thing but I have lived overseas for a while so I'm looking forward to the move! I'm hoping to find a place around the inner-west, close to public transport (preferably the train). I have a number of houseplants, some craft beer equipment, coffee machine and enjoy a good glass of red. I'm also pretty handy around the house! I like to hang out and chat, watch tv, cook, but I also do enjoy some peace and quiet now and then.
