Hi We are Talisa and Georgia and we're currently looking for a new place to call home. A little bit about Georgia: She is 28 years old, an extroverted introvert, enjoys life drawing, heading to gigs and theatre, yoga, going on hikes and exploring book stores. She is also a foodie and loves the occasional wine with a cheese platter on the weekend. She likes a good doco and is interested in holistic health and personal development. She has worked as a social worker/counsellor and is currently working with youth. A little bit about myself: I’m Talisa, also 28 and currently working as a physio. I like to get out on the weekends whether it’s spending time in nature going on hikes, wandering around markets and bookstores or catching up with friends over a wine. Around the house you’d most likely see me reading and drinking too much tea as well as dabbling in creative outlets like cooking/drawing. We’re looking for a home to share with like-minded people who are thoughtful with shared living spaces, are relatively quite during the week and who are friendly and open to occasionally hanging out or allowing us to have a couple of friends over on the weekend. We would love a place to feel like a sanctuary , with understanding of when we might need some down time but we are also very open to organising brunches or dinners with our flatties! We hope to hear from you! Also - we had a profile exactly like this up a few days ago, but something went wrong and we've been unable to sign into the account. So if you have messaged in the last couple of days, please message again. Thanks! :)
Hello, I am a primary school teacher from the UK. I have just got a perminant job in Auburn, therefore I am looking for a place which is around maximum 30 minutes from this location. I am a friendly and talkative person! I think I would be a great house mate!
Hi, My name is Faryal and I am moving to Sydney. I have been a working professional since the past 8 years in the banking industry and I am looking to work full time in Sydney as well. I am just a simple friendly young girl who is ambitious and fun loving as well. I like to travel, explore new places and make new friends. I like my own space but I am always open to friendly conversations. I tend to keep the place around me as tidy as possible so that's what you can expect from me. Do get in touch if you have a suitable place and would like to get to know more about me or if you think we could find a nice place together.
I am looking for a flatmate for the second bedroom in a wonderful house in Enmore/Marrickville. This place is super conveniently located, within walking distance to the Marrickville Metro, close to cafes, pubs, restaurants and within walking distance to both Newtown and St Peters stations. The house is a two bedroom terrace with beautiful old features and comes fully furnished. The second bedroom currently has a queen bed, chest of draws and lamp in it. There is also a backyard with a small garden and a garage. Electricity and internet are split between 2 and are in addition to the rent. I also have a cat named Sneaker who is 10 years old and very friendly. He is well trained and runs his own show!
I work full time in the city and looking for a share house which I can call home. My two main interests are cooking and ten-pin bowling, and I don't mind going out for a meal or a couple of drinks every now and then, however I am also respectful of personal space and the cleanliness of common areas so I don't mind doing some of the housework. I dont like feeling like a stranger in my own home so I at least want to meet one of the people I could be living with, if you're only after someone to pay the rent and have no interest whatsoever in being sociable (although I mostly keep to myself), then I am the wrong person for your place.
I'm extremely neat and organised. I am considerate of the others I live with and am very outgoing. I work as a personal trainer and go to Uni full time as Physiotherapy student. I moved here from California 4 months ago. I love anything involving fitness, like hiking, biking, etc. Always happy to try a new coffee shop or relax at a whiskey bar.
I'm easy going, great cook, great company, can join the party or fly solo...don't do drama. Looking for a home environment, a place that feels like home. I have a dog who is completely trained (doesn’t shed hair) and most days comes to work with me. I’m into meditation, walking in the park and chilling at the beach. Responsible, respectful, honest.
Hi lovely people! Come and join Jack, Jupiter (the cutest toy poodle you'll ever meet) and I (Jae) in our cute Marrickville abode. We've just signed the lease for a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom (2 toilet?) house right next to the factory theatre. This is an AMAZING location, close to public transport, king street and Addison road markets. There is a massive backyard and so much potential for this newly formed sharehouse. The place is getting renovated as we speak and we will be doing house viewings this saturday night. Please note that the pictures are of the house pre-renovation and we will be putting up some new photos once we get the keys. If you're interested send us a PM with a little bit about yourself and what you'd like to get out a sharehouse :) The nitty gritty: Rent is $260 (minus bills) and we will need 4 weeks bond. The room is unfurnished. Sorry, no couples :(
Large bedroom with built-in wardrobe available in my apartment right on Marrickville golf course, about a 7min walk from Dulwich Hill train station and light rail, tucked in a quiet leafy street. It's about a 15min walk to Marrickville station and all the great food that Marrickville has to offer (i.e. also within delivery radius). From the living/dining room and balcony there is a lovely green view of the golf course and the Cooks River. We're also right next to the Cooks River Cycleway so you can cycle to Brighton-Le-Sands beach if you're into biking. Current photos aren't my furniture - I'm moving in from May 21 and will update photos once in and settled. Move-in date can be flexible - I'll have access from late May but it might take a couple of weeks to set up internet. There is a car space available and plenty of street parking as well. Not sure what else to add - any questions please feel free to ask! Single $350 plus bills Couple $400 plus bills I would also consider renting out the smaller bedroom instead (and living in the master bedroom myself), for cheaper rent. The smaller bedroom also has built-ins. Message if you'd like more details :)
Bedroom with built-in wardrobe available right on Marrickville golf course, about a 7min walk from Dulwich Hill train station and light rail, tucked in a quiet leafy street. It's about a 15min walk to Marrickville station and great restaurants in that area. Next to the Cooks River Cycleway so you can cycle to Brighton-Le-Sands beach if you're into biking. This is an alternative listing to the larger master bedroom - I am flexible as to which I take so I thought I'd list both and see how it goes. Hi! My name is Siegfried, I am a French medicine student and I'm coming to Sydney this Summer (whoops, Winter!) for 8 weeks for an exchange internship position in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. What about me... I'm a black-curly-haired guy, with a bit of beard as well. I like... pretty much a lot of things! In short, though, it turns out that I'm studying medicine, so right now I am living in a passionate relationship with coffee, books and diseases. Quite alot to talk about! I'm kidding of course, I'm am not living in such a complete locked-up room. I am also French! So I love food, of course, but also music, meeting new people and sharing jokes around a beer or two (or three...)! I'm not a complete newbie in Aussie, though. Last time I was in this beautiful country I hiked alone for a month in Tassie! Quite a lot of memories to share, and quite inspiring for future trips! There are a lot more to say about me, but I think it will be easier when we'll meet for real :) See you soon then! Sieg
Heyy. I just moved to sydney and looking for a room in the inner west. Professional doing shift work in the city. Relaxed, social, clean, gym, freediving, hiking, sleeping, Im from way down the coast, a few beers.... I do have a car so at least street parking is needed.
Super-chilled girl in her mid-30's looking for a place to call home. I work part-time with kids with disabilities and manage properties in Sydney via short-term leasing; thus I work full-time. I am easygoing, relatable, flexible, respectful, clean and tidy. I enjoy conversation, though very much value me-time. I am often taking pup (9 years old) for a run, creating patterns, studying graphic design and interior design part time as I build up a business around renovating and short-term leasing. I look forward to meeting and creating a home with you.
Hey Guys, Originally from New York City living in Sydney for 4 months now, very social outgoing person with a pretty good circle of friends in Sydney whom I've known from back in the states. Currently living in Dulwich Hill and looking to stay in the inner west preferably. I am on my first working holiday visa and have guaranteed employment for the duration of my visa(s) so paying my rent on time won't ever be an issue. I work in hospitality more specifically hotels so my schedule rotates weekly meaning I get off early one week and late the next. I am a pretty good cook if that gets me any extra brownie points. Looking for some cool flatmates who are also CLEAN, preferably a modern home, and private room with enough space to keep to myself when i want and of course common space where we can all get to know each other while enjoying a beer and or a movie/game. Looking forward to meet you guys! - Daniel
Hey there! My names Sarah, I’m a 20 year old media student/ part time receptionist. I’ve been living on my own for quite some time now so you’re guaranteed a clean and mature person to live with. I’m very easy going and laid back. Currently I am residing in Melbourne (although I was originally from Sydney) but due to a breakup I need to relocate as soon as possible. The latest move in date would have to be June 10th. For fun my hobbies include devouring worrying amounts of wine and cheese, cooking, looking at pictures of dogs in party hates and photoshopping pictures of Steve Buscemis face onto Disney characters. I dislike: avocados, slugs and snails and running.
I'm down to earth and feel im a genuinely friendly person with an eye for making sure situations are fair and comfortable. I try to stay humble and feel im socially and self aware. Im good at gauging someone else's need for space and have upmost respect for privacy however am still very happy for any sociable interaction and a laugh. If your clean/tidy I will make sure we don't get into any awkward "your not pulling your weight convos", and have will strive to have initiative about cleanliness /house maintenance. I work full time and am looking to study on top so am looking for like-minded people who want a quieter more laid back household. Looking to start my own lease, or teamup with someone who wants to start their own in the areas listed or surrounding. Litterally only want to live with 1 other person....2 max. So if you want to connect we can meet and create a plan of attack in terms of housing inspections ect. Otherwise if your already in a place and think id fit, let us know too, id love to hear from you :)
Hey there! I’m a 28 year old guy looking for a friendly sharehouse to call home ☺️ I work in tech / music, I’m easygoing, respectful and tidy. Always open to the odd family dinner or drinks, but also enjoy leading an independent life. Looking forward to meeting you! Matt
