I’m usually at the gym or training MMA when I’m not working, so I’m out a fair bit and don’t bring parties home. I’m considerate with noise, clean up after myself, and always contribute fairly to shared tasks. I genuinely want wherever I live to feel like a comfortable home for everyone, not just a place to crash. I’m also respectful of people’s routines and boundaries — whether you’re an early riser, a night owl, or somewhere in between, I can fit in easily. To share a little about us, we are currently in Australia on our first working holiday visa for a year, hoping to extend further as we have found a real (and ever growing!) love for this corner of the world already. We have primarily made this jump to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle that Australia has to offer and enjoy spending our weekends on newly discovered hikes, visiting the coast line or out on bike trails. After living and working in Bristol for a little over five years, we both decided to take a leap, and have a huge lifestyle change in packing up and moving to the other side of the world. We both worked as professionals full time and lived in house shares at the time. My work revolved around operating and marketing within the co-working space world and Syd’s work was company wide, across telemarketing and sales. We have been lucky enough to spend our first six weeks in Sydney staying with family over in the beautiful Northern Beaches. Due to new developments in our work ventures, we have realised we need to be closer to the city to make it work. Currently we are working in the hospitality sector to ensure we have a solid flow of income to support us, but this will be changing soon as we begin to make the shift back into our prior industries! We pride ourselves on being organised and tidy individuals who really care about the space we live in. With years of experience of living with others, we are respectful of other people’s space and recognise the importance of this.
