Huge, spacious room in a big Mascot home a few minutes' walk from Botany Road. Plenty of natural light and space, big backyard with space for your car and a great vegetable garden. The room has a built in wardrobe and mirror. Whole house is furnished other than your room. The house is always clean and tidy, we are friendly and very relaxed. Stocked kitchen, air conditioning, BBQ, homely feel, we are working and at uni!
Just graduated from ANU; I'll be working full-time in Mascot. I represented Australia for Taekwondo last year and I've been living in share houses since 2014. I'm looking for good value housemates who can get around sport, evening beers and the occasional road trip.
We're a couple of girls looking for a double room, we are students and part time workers. Non smokers, social drinkers. Quiet, tidy, respectful, and easy to get along with. We believe successful share housing is in part a result of mutual respect, trust, understanding and being considerate of others. We also think honest and open communication is important to have between flatmates.
I am vibrant and have a joyful personality. I work in Human Resources as a HR Manager for a government agency (just starting and leaving the construction industry) and really enjoy what I do for work. In my free time I enjoy cooking/baking, Latin dancing (teaching internationally and performing), spending time with friends, traveling the globe and trying new fun things like archery and trapeze (to name a few). I'm very sociable, but after long days in the office I can be a bit of a "grandma" and pretty much eat, shower and go straight to bed. *yawn* I don't mind chatting over a wine or two and can also appreciate when people need their space. I'm fairly clean - and my only vice would be that it may take me a day or two to put away my washing basket (which would be beside my bed in my room). I'm not one to leave dishes in the sink and I avidly clean the the house and bathroom on a weekly/fortnightly basis.
Hi, I am looking for somewhere to live with my small, well-behaved dog, Nara. I am about to graduate with my masters in Human Resource management and I am currently in the process of relocating with my current role from Brisbane to Sydney. I am not looking for a party house however I do like to be sociable and have BBQs, dinners and the occasional drink. I am clean and respectful and would like an easy going, clean and relaxed household.
I like to think of myself as respectful, helpful, friendly & easy going.
Beautiful home located close to parks, shops, bus stops to city, universities, hospitals and beaches. We are a happy and outgoing family who are very easy to get along with. The room is very tidy and furnished with a queen bed, desk and plenty of storage. Our house is very clean and tidy so we prefer a person to be the same way. You will have lots of privacy in this place as well as plenty of places to hangout or work out with other people if you like.
Hi.. I am looking for a single Private room with own/shared bathroom. About me: A friendly, sociable guy working full time in IT. I like to keep my surroundings tidy. Not much of a party person, so it will be quiet most of the time, but love to sit for evening chats... :) If you think, I might fit in your flat, please feel free to text/buzz. Thanks!! Ankur
Living close to the city, the train station is less than a 10 minute walk away. The larger room will be up for grabs and has a built in wardrobe as well.It is fairly spacious and can fit a queen size bed or King. The kitchen and bathroom have recently been refurbed a couple years back which gives a bit more of a modern feel to it. There is also a laundry room located on the side of the kitchen for washing clothes and a clothes line on the balcony. All furniture etc sofa, dinner table as well as appliances fridge, microwave, tv, iron are all available in the unit already so ideally all you would need is your own bed. I have a BBQ and internet as well, One thing to note is that I do not own the unit, the rates of rent may go up when up for renewal. I will give as much notice as possible if that is the case. We can work out the rules together.
Hey I'm Anna, illustrator and 3D artist from Germany, about to move to Sydney. Since I'm looking to get a full time position in Sydney, I probably won't be home a lot. I've lived in shared apartments for nearly 6 years and always liked hanging out together with a glass of wine, going out or just having a conversation but if you need your own time I will stay out of your way, sometimes I need time to myself as well. I'm looking forward to see what it's like to live in Sydney for a longer period of time and I am quite open to the place's area. A private room would be great, everything else shared is perfect though. I'm tidy, outgoing and I naturally am a very happy person. In my free time I like to draw a lot, work out, cook, enjoy Australia's nature and travel. To meet lots of new people is something I am so excited about, so if you feel like you'd enjoy living with me or if you have any questions please let me know, I'd be very pleased to hear from you!
GIllian and I are both clean and very tidy people, who will always clean up after our own mess after using anything. We are both super easy going and carefree who would love a chat but we also respect other people's privacy. We love all animals and have no allergies, therefore any place with pets will be no problem for us. We both work full time in Finance in the city and will not be home much during the week. On the weekends, we usually love a nice brunch and coffee with friends. We are not party people, but we're still definitely fun!
Very easy going roomie for the summer! 24, Working in Darlinghurst doing medical research. Originally from the country. I like board games, netball, and watching netflix. Will pitch in to keep the place clean, won't have parties or blast music at weird hours :) Would like to have friends over occasionally. Happy to have a chat over dinner, watch bad TV and hang with my housemates- or if i need space will just chill out in my room. Looking for a spot in early Nov- would prefer a place close to public transport & a semi or fully furnished room as I am trying to own less stuff before I move to the UK in mid-Feb. Would prefer to buy/cook my own food. Best qualities in a roomate would be friendly, neat and relaxed. Would love no drama/nonsense roomates- prefer to be honest and upfront about any pet peeves, or let me know if there are any issues.
I'm 28 from Scotland. I love to travel and have been for the passed few years but fell in love with Sydney and decided to stay. I am just about to start studying here in December. I am a bartender at a very nice venue (so can hook you up with discounts) however I work great hours 10am-6pm usually. I'm tidy, respectful and easy going. Looking for a place with awesome people to call home for the next few years :)
Professional working in the aviation industry - I have great tales to tell Aerospace Engineer - I can fix your spaceship Mature - Please consider everything to the right of the hyphen as my lighter side Multilingual - Hopefully can converse with you in alien sounding languages VERY neat and clean - I am not even going to joke about this Starting to get healthy - So anyone who can tell me to run more is considered a well wisher Sensible & thoughtful - You can always ask me for advise Hate credit - Will never default on payments or pay them late
You will have the master bedroom with ensuite (your own shower/toilet) and two massive mirrored wardrobes to yourself. There is a comfy queen size bed, study table, chair and bedside table in the room. (Move in straight away!) Bills not included and is shared every 3 months (Electricity and Gas). Internet connection is included. 5-10 mins to Woolworths (nice and new), Asian Grocery 5-10 mins walk to Mascot Station (10 mins to Central). Closest mega shopping mall - Eastgardens Westfield (Free parking) Looking for a like-minded and quiet female who is house-trained, honest, positive and considerate towards others. Preference for someone who can observe basic common sense home policy and an understanding of the Asian culture. ie Shoes removed upon entering the apartment. Tidying up after yourself contributes to a pleasant and happy household. ie using bedroom furniture, fittings and shared appliances gently and keeping them in excellent condition and the living areas clean after use. Also, communication is key. If you for whatever reason are not comfortable with communicating (for eg. asking how to use the washing machine during your first time or when unsure, then you are probably not the ideal flatmate.) This is not a party house so no stayovers (room is for yourself to live in only). This is for the security and comfort of everyone involved. If you're looking for a home to come back and relax in, this is the place for you.
I am not looking for a party house. I am mature, and easy going. I am very friendly and like to socialise but also I do like my space. When I'm home, I like to relax and depending on my work schedule, I like to keep fit and healthy. I am clean, neat and tidy and I always clean up after myself :) I work as an International Flight Attendant, so I would hardly be home. I can take a room furnished or unfinished.
I have a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) Greek background University Psychology Tutor Health and fitness freak Very clean and organised person Love to chill out, have a good laugh and some fun! Easy going and adventurous!
