Another novocastrian returning after spending a few years in Sydney. Good at cleaning up after myself, always pay my rent on time, fairly quiet and easy going but always happy to have a chat over a beer or cuppa - gin and tonic is my weapon of choice. Not adverse to communal activities but don't mind flying solo. Bit of a nerd so you will most often find me gaming or reading in my spare time. I also have a small dog (jack russell - 12yo) Max who is also pretty chilled, rarely barks, is fully house trained and loves a snack, cuddle or wrestle. Financially, I am currently only doing irregular work for a friend until I can find something more suitable up here and get established but I receive benefits to assist and am eligible for rent assistance in the meantime. I usually work in retail alcohol both digital and brick & mortar stores or pouring beers. If you think I sound like a suitable candidate for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm also more than happy to provide references. Happy hunting!
Hi, Sam and Kirsten here! We're 26 and 25 and are relocating from Brisbane to Newcastle as I (Sam) begin uni here this year. We like to think we're fun/funny and good company to have around but are also more than happy to keep to ourselves. We also have a little dog named Dotty looking to come with us. She is a 4yr old Maltese Poodle who doesn't shed fur, doesn't bark and could challenge a koala to a sleeping contest to give you an idea of how lazy she is. We're very tidy and certainly enjoy our food (So does Dotty)! Kirsten is also a qualified dietitian but don't worry, we still love our pizza, chocolate and other tasty snacks! Hopefully we sound interesting enough to persuade you to let us live with you! :)

Hi, am looking for one more to share a great cottage in Mayfield Newcastle. You will be sharing with Dan a cool physio. You can walk to everything Coles Kmart and Woolies and 20 mins pushbike ride to the beach or uni or tafe. Beautiful bathroom with bath, and not a party house. Perfect for mature student or professional. Short term up to 6 weeks $250 per week after that as stated. NBN connected and about $30mth unlimited , organised with tenants. Onsite parking possible with small car and housemates. Thanks Brad
In my final year of studying at uni so I am fairly study-orientated but I definitely enjoy keeping up my social life. This includes going to music festivals, as well as seeing local acts around Newcastle.
Mayfield is becoming a very popular area. Very centrally located, supermarkets at hand. Only 6 kms from Newcastle CBD. You will share with another housemate and with me (occasionally). Bedroom 2 (front): Large bedroom with built-in robe. Front balcony access. Bedroom 3 (Back): Good size bedroom with built-in robe. Main Bathroom: Shower, toilet, basin, and spa bath in good working condition (not often used). Landing: Good space for reading, study nook or kid's area, plus skylight for natural light. Ducted Air Conditioning only 2 years old, can be split between upstairs and all levels via a switch at the top of the stairs. Good powerful Samsung Inverter which means it doesn't add too much to electricity bills. Well insulated due to double brick & insulated ceiling. Good thermal properties and the use of blinds to adjust incoming light or heat in Winter and Summer, with townhouse having NNE facing aspect. Elevated location out of flood zone, plus get SE and NE breezes.
Light and airy apartment with fresh paint, new carpet and new kitchen. Close to transport and shops, there is also a great cafe right a cross the road. Easy to get to Newcastle Uni, one stop on the train. The room is smallish however the apartment has a separate lounge room and eat in kitchen. Bills are included (internet, electricity, gas, water for $20p/m).
Hey guys I am looking for a new place to live from basically anytime soon, but do not need to rush out urgently. Bit about me... from Germany but moved around quite a bit, since half a year living in Newy. I am doing my PhD at the UoN, so am called a student but not really feeling like one - apart from being poor ;) thereofe i would prefer not living in a student accom as i basically work fulltime. Non-smoker, easy going, pretty tidy, love to head to the gym or lie around and and tan. Would love to live with not too many people who are easy going and up for a chat or drink sometimes. Love to be around people but also need me-time and just chill in my room with netflix. Hit me up if you feel like we could get along and you got a room to rent :)
We are full time students from Sydney who have completed a degree and now doing further studies at the University of Newcastle. Therefore, we are looking to rent a property, preferably long term, that is nice and quiet. We are respectful of people, clean, mature, responsible and organised. We would love to share a home with someone who is friendly and easy going like ourselves.
I’m a laid back kind of girl that loves camping and off-roading. I drive to Sydney every weekend to visit my family otherwise I’m working part time mostly day shifts, I am trustworthy, loyal and I’m always here if you need help I also have a 2yo male staffy that might potential join me in Newcastle if that doesn’t bother anyone, my parents can look after him if I am unable to
The Room:🤓 Furnished with Double Bed and Bed side draws It’s in the front part of the house which stays cool in Summer, has brand new built in wardrobe & ceiling fan, includes a french cafe artwork in wall cove but happy if you want to pass on that In Heatwaves we do have a portable aircon unit you can borrow but we have priced the rent to have expenses included. This can be adjusted by agreement :-) Property 10 min walk to woollies, bus stop 2 min walk. Waratah train station a 15 min walk.Tighes Hill Tafe close by as well. Nice Street.Friendly Neighbors Toilet separate to bathroom Air conditioned Loungeroom Carport Backyard with lovely garden Mayfield East to us: : In our recent property hunt to find a new place,I have to admit I snub mayfield at first but have found a lovely melting pot suburb,it takes 10 mins to get to Hamilton, has nice shops & cafes. Bus Route:47,11,130 Most bus routes go to Newcastle and via the University Our closest station in Waratah Mayfield pool not far away
Primarily looking to team up, I currently have my own house on the central coast but it's boring down here so looking for somewhere with a decent pub nearby! I would be able to fully furnish a house, I'm easy going, work fulltime Mon-Fri, I have a 10yo Siberian Husky, he's really good natured, happy for him to make friends with your dog or would look at getting a rescue to keep him company as he currently is in a pack of 3
Definitely not looking for a party house! Hi! Post-grad student (primary teaching) here. Mid-to-late thirties, single and not exactly ready to mingle. I consider myself quiet and respectful. My interests are pretty nerdy, which include comedy, podcasts, comics, and the odd computer game. I’m reliable with bills & rent. Hope to meet you soon!
We're very respectful and friendly. Enjoy a chat, going to the beach. One of us is a student the other working. I'm from Sydney and Theresa is from Germany. We clean up after ourselves, we'll have the occasional social drink, but don't tend to go out partying or drinking.
I'm a bartender, so I have decent banter, and a thick skin. Can cook a solid meal, but also know how to clean up after myself. I like the gym, my motorbike, netflix, wine and cheese. Situations like these I can be shy at first, but well, you will know when I'm out of my shell! P.S my profile picture I am blonde, although I have recently (this week) changed to a brunette!
My name is Erin and I am friendly, love to have a few drinks here and there, love staying in for Netflix and cooking dinner for household. Although I am young I have lived out of home since age 16 and have plenty of rental history and experience living in share houses. Looking for friendly and laid back people to share a home with! Looking to move at the start of April when my lease is up.
I’m very relaxed and a little bit quiet and shy. I’d like to live with people who are fun and easygoing. I’m quite creative and play guitar, do photography, draw, and I have a couple of very cuddly pet rats. Last year I was doing the diploma of photography and digital imaging at tafe, and this year I’m looking at getting an apprenticeship in tattooing.
