Hey, I'm a Laboratory Technician working in a physical testing laboratory in Mayfield. I'm a pretty chill and relaxed person, working 5 to 6 days a week. I just like to enjoy my hobbies which is writing and strategy games. I don't really watch TV much or host parties, so I'm a fairly quiet guy. I own a rescued Greyhound named Sally who is a very shy, timid and quiet gal. I'm just looking for a chill, relaxed environment to live in and some good mates for housemates.
29 year old looking for a cozy clean home to hide in. I work part time at a chocolate shop, but pretty much to a full time schedule. I love all pets but have none of my own. I enjoy cleaning, especially when I'm feeling down or anxious, so I will always clean up after myself - but I'm not a fastidious person. I am HOPELESS at cooking, so I try not to subject anyone else to it. I am quiet in nature, I don't go out much and tend to just stay in and game, but I am talkative and like to just exist around other people. I am something of a night owl and I have an amazing ability to sleep though all kinds of noise. I don't have a car or license so I MUST have easy access to public transport. I have the gay.
The bedroom pictures above are of the available room This property is walking distance to Woolworths, Aldi, pubs, gyms, doctors, pharmacies, bus station, train station Super-friendly roommates Large high-ceiling rooms (room available measures 3.3 x 4.3 m) Excellent internet (included in rent) Refurbished kitchen Two bathrooms Two toilets Two air conditioners Two large sheds Generous on-street parking and Aldi carpark across the road (You'll never have to search for a park)
Ensuite room available for rent in a 3 bedroom place in Mayfield. Looking for someone who would fit in well with two busy females and a very well behaved staffy. Ideally the person will be late 20s-30s, clean and working or studying fulltime. The room is a good size with a small ensuite, built in robe, ceiling fan and wooden floorboards. Best suited to a male (or female that doesn't need a lot of bathroom-bench space!) We operate on a weekly cleaning roster, so you must be willing to do your share of kitchen/floors/bins etc once every three weeks. We also have a small backyard that requires periodical gardening, but nothing a 6 pack of ciders and group effort on a sunny day can't manage! Our place is walking distance to great coffee, the shops and a decent pub with a cheap snitty night. Only 7 min drive to town via Industrial Drive and another 7 mins in the other direction to Newcastle Uni. Love to hear form you. Did I mention you must love dogos!!
UPDATE: Opportunity for a group of people to take over lease at this lovely property. Both Tegan and myself are looking to vacate our awesome house as we have plans to travel, there is still 6 months on the lease, with the option of re-signing. If possible we would like to transfer it over to people who love this property as much as we do! A good opportunity for people that are looking to start a share house with friends or people from flatmates.com.au. The house can be partially furnished with a large L shaped couch, wardrobes, a large fridge and a clothes washing machine. Applicants are welcome to come and check out the property and negotiate on any other items they might like us to leave for them. The property has a lots of character with the perfect blend of old fashion charm, whilst still being new, clean and in great condition in all the right places. There are 2 large bedrooms, both carpeted, with massive built in wardrobes, as well as 2 smaller bedrooms, one of which is carpeted. We have tended to use the 2 bedrooms as one with housemates using one as a study/studio space and the other for sleeping, relaxing, etc. The living room is a large open plan area that links up with a huge modern kitchen equipped with gas cookers, a dishwasher and modern gas oven. There is plenty of bench space and seemingly endless cupboards and storage room. Much like the rest of the house there is always lovely lighting throughout the space at all times of the day. The kitchen and living area have polished floor boards and newly painted white walls. The inside bathroom has a toilet and a large spa bath. There is a front, side and back garden/yard with lots of plants, a frangipani tree and corrugated iron veggie patch. We also have large compost bins if people are interested in keeping them we when we leave. The back yard links with up with a large sheltered patio/deck which is awesome to hang out and have drinks on, especially in summer. Also on the deck is the secondary toilet and laundry. Finally, there is a massive modern shed with newly painted floors; electric roller doors; secure locking; loads of cupboards and a work bench. The shed is nice enough to live in if you wanted to! Parking is on-street and all day with no permits required. You could also park cars in the shed, but nothing bigger than a 4WD. Rent is $440 a week for the whole house, so depending on how many people you had in here the price per person would vary. If this place sounds like something you might be interested in we would love to hear from and can facilitate any transfer process. We are flexible to have people move when it suits them, some rooms are available right away and others can be made available upon request. We loved living here and think that you will too!
Hola, I'm Brielle I'm moving to Newcastle for work and am currently looking for a place to call home, an existing room to rent or teaming up with someone. I've been living out of home and on my own for the past 3 years, I have my own furniture and internet. I'm a friendly working professional in my 20's (wise beyond my years) my working background is in child protection. I'm super respectful of people's privacy as I love my own alone time but am also quite the social butterfly so I would love a roomie who's up for the occasional drink, cheese platter and carry on. In my spare time I love spending it in the surf, going for ocean swims, yoga and meditations, having a drink, catching up with fam and friends, watering my plants.. napping... I'm super tidy and respectful and I love being able to come home to HAPPY, clean and calm environment.
UoN students wanted for rooms in mixed sharehouse. $150 per week for a small room, $165 for a large room, and $170 for a large room with full wall built in robe and individual reverse cycle A/C. It includes all the following bills; Gas, Water, Electricity, Lawn and garden care, Cleaner, and Unlimited HIGH SPEED NBN (100MBPS), fibre to the house. The room has a large built in wardrobe, ceiling fan, bed and desk. The house is pretty Eco friendly and has rainwater tanks that connect to the washing machine and toilets, a 10Kw solar system, insulation and reverse cycle A/C. A Tesla Powerwall is planned when they release the next model. The house itself is fully furnished. We try and keep an even mix of male and female students as we find it works best for everyone. Currently we have one female and two males, so we are looking for two females and a male. The house itself is a six bedroom, three bathroom federation style house that is fully restored in Federation period style. It's handy to shops, public transport, pool, pubs, cycleways and being close to both the city and uni campuses it's a great place to live. Four weeks bond is payable prior to moving in as well as 100 points of ID and your UoN student number. We rarely have any problems filling the rooms and give the tenants ownership of the place which usually includes the students themselves interviewing all the potential housemates to see who would be the best fit in the case of a vacancy at the end of the year. Strictly no smokers. No pets. No drugs. CLEANLINESS!!! A cleaner will come once a week to clean all the common areas. This does not mean you can live like a grub throughout the week. If you would like the cleaner to clean your room you will have to negotiate this directly with her. The house is located within a short walking distance to a shopping centre and only 200 metres to bus stops that provide transport to both the university and the city every 15 minutes. There is a cycleway at the end of the street that follows the waterfront into the heart of the city. Travel to and from either the City (4km) or Callaghan campus (3. 8km) by bicycle in around 15 minutes. The house is set in a quiet street with great neighbours, and the property offers fully-landscaped gardens and large living areas. The lease for the rooms are until 20 Jan 2019 with an option to extend additional years without any changes to the rental agreement price. The house has been fully painted and had new appliances added since the photos shown. University of Newcastle students and CSIRO ONLY. No TAFE, or distance learning students. International students welcome to apply once in country. If you are not in country and physically able to come to the property, do not apply. The house is a council compliant share house and is not register as a boarding house.

Hey I am a happy chatty person looking for 2 or 3 room mates to rent a house with. I want to get a puppy so they have to be okay with dogs and if they have one of their own thats great. I am an 18 year old assistant nurse. I am happy to do activities with my roommates or to leave them alone.
I'm working as an engineer in Newcastle from Monday to Friday but on weekends I'm generally horse riding, dancing, running or hanging out with friends. I'd like to live with other young working people who are fairly happy go lucky and keep a tidy house. I'm keen for coffee dates at the local café and wine and cheese nights, docos and cards when we feel like it.
Hello! I’m british, Laid back, and like living in tidy places!! I love being outdoors, heading to the gym, a bit of yoga and baking. Currently in Tasmania, but coming back in August. I’d love a sociable house. I already have plenty of friends in Newy and know my way around, as I have been living in Hamilton for nearly a year, always keen to meet new people and try new things!
An Architect by day, Illustrator by night - I draw lines and design spaces for a living. After having worked with a design studio in Malaysia for the past 4 years I decided to go back to school for a Masters program in Architecture. Currently hoping to start school at UoN from July. I keep to myself most of the time, yet always open to friendly chats and hangouts now and then. I tend to keep the space around me to extremely tidy and almost minimalist all the time, so thats exactly what you can expect from me. Love to explore new places, reading over coffee and laughing over silly conversations. Do get in touch if you have a suitable place and would like to get to know more about me or if you think we could find a nice place together.
We are a couple with 2 angel dogs, one is a 10 year old shihtzu named Donald and the other is a mixed breed named Colin. We are tidy, respectful, love a good movie, and cooking. We both work regular and steady hours and just want someone we can trust with our fur babies. We have a brand new washing machine, fridge and chest freezer to bring to the ranks.
I am a 28 year old female who loves netball, dogs, going for walks, cooking, drinking wine and relaxing. I am a homebody but love to socialise too and would like to be friends with my housemates. I am laid back and very clean. I am moving back to Newcastle after living in Melbourne for a short period so are looking for somewhere i can call home.
Hi! I'm a 29 year old phd student from Romania. I' ve been in Australia for a little less than two years. I'm warm and social (except in the morning before i have my coffee). I love having chats on any topic (philosophy, trump, the best dishwasher soap... you name it), being goofy, occasional dinner parties, going to the beach, dancing salsa, traveling and of course banter. We can't be friends unless we can call each other c*** and a**hole. I'm a huge movie buff and a pretentious jazz listener. On top of my research scholarship, I work as an academic staff member at UoN and a few other small part time jobs. I'm looking for a nice place relatively close to the university of newcastle, callaghan campus, to share with a few fun, social, clean people. Hope to meet you soon! Thanks Cheers Andrei
