I am a mining engineer and I moved from Brisbane to Perth about a year ago for a FIFO job. My roster is week on week off. When I am around, I enjoy being a part of a household, and being friends with my housemates. That said, I know everyone has their own lives so I'm good at giving space if that's what you're after! I like playing sports such as Gaelic football and tennis, and going rockclimbing. I also like having lazy nights at home, cooking with a glass of red and watching movies or TV shows and reading (especially fantasy or historical fiction). While I am definitely not a party animal, I do like to have friends over for a games night or dinner, or have our own 'family' dinners! I am also very keen to see more of what Perth and the surrounding areas have to offer, especially going camping and four wheel driving. It would be ideal if my new housemates would be interested in joining me for some of this! Ideally, I would love to live somewhere with a spare room or with housemates who don't mind the occasional visitor on the couch, in case my interstate friends or family manage to find their way to this side of the country. I would love to live somewhere with animals, although I don't have a pet of my own. Non-smoker and clean and courteous housemate!
$155 includes bills (everything) - 30 meters to bus stops - 40 meters to the bottle shop - 10 minutes walk to eighth ave cafes / train station - air-conditioning in the lounge, gas heater in the second lounge. - small paved space out the back. - the room is 3.7m x 3.9m, high ceilings.
Why I am the flatmate you are looking for? I am Melissa, 22 and normally studying International Business in the Netherlands. After falling in love with the city, during my last visit, I really wanted to come back to Australia and luckily found a great internship starting in August. This is why I am looking for a place to stay now. I would say I am a really open-minded, friendly and sociable person and tidiness is important to me. I also love to meet new people and make new friends and it would be great to like cook together or just to hang out every now and then. When I am not working or studying, I love to go to the gym, listen to music and just spend a lot of time with my friends and family.

LOOKING FOR: ***MODERN PROPERTY*** ***IN/AROUND PERTH OR NEAR PUBLIC TRANSPORT*** ***AVAILABLE TO MOVE 26th AUGUST*** Hey, We are a couple from England looking for a clean and modern place to share with easy going, fun people. I am currently working part time and studying in the city. Luke is currently working full time and works all over so ideally looking for somewhere near to public transport. We are clean and tidy, sociable and enjoy a few beers at the week end and sometimes in the week. Although we are sociable we are very respectable of others privacy. We would like to live with like minded people who would enjoy a few beers or dinner with us from time to time and share some good banter. We would prefer our own bathroom however we don't mind sharing as long as the other housemates are clean. We are not looking for a party house but equally not looking for an unsociable house so something in between would be perfect. We would also like to feel comfortable to bring friends over for dinner from time to time. We would prefer to have air con especially in the main living area and a lock on the bedroom door (in larger occupied houses). Thank you :-)
Hello! I'm an 36 y/o Irish-Australian guy who has been living in Perth for 7 years now and very happy to call it my home. That being said, I'm yet to settle down and find my own place, and my current apartment is being renovated by the owner for her to move back into it. Hence, considering a flatmate! Is it you? To pay the bills, I solve problems for businesses (consulting / contracting / project work) and try to leave them in a better state than which I found them. Not always easy! Most recently, I was involved in setting up a new political party in WA, designed to put people back into decision making in Parliament - check out voteflux.org (I never stop spruiking the projects I'm passionate about). :) What makes me a good person to live with? I'm respectful, tidy, responsible and all those other attributes which would be considered standard. I can cook, play music, fix things and talk for hours about the nature of life and the universe. I know when to be quiet and to give people space. I'm comfortable with silence. I myself am an introvert by nature (in that I replenish my energy by spending time alone), but I am very social and love spending time with my friends. I'm not easily placed into a box... Just some random info about me: I've worked all over the world (Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia) building mobile phone networks Love animals and I'm convinced I have a telepathic connection with dogs - woof woof!!! Spent 6 months in India learning yoga and doing research on yoga therapy I believe the burrito to be one of the crowning achievements of human civilisation I don't take myself too seriously, (about a 6/10 on the taking-oneself-seriously scale) My vices include: Books - I can't walk into a bookshop with buying something. My library contains more books than I will ever likely have time to read in my lifetime, but in my opinion, the value of a library is in the books you're yet to read - not necessarily the ones you've read. Shiraz - Not an alcoholic :p but I do enjoy my shirazes (what's the plural of shiraz? Shirazi? Shirazamattazes?). Nothing quite like a conversation over a glass of Shiraz. If you like Merlot, I won't hold that against you! - actually I might! :p Ideally, I'd like to live with one other person in a house / apartment which is big enough for us both to have a bit of space. I work from home on occasion, so a place with ample room for a desk would be a bonus. Aiming to live within 20 mins of the CBD, so if you're in that catchment area and would like to have a conversation to assess our compatibility, let me know. All the best! Daithi P.S. This website doesn't format text properly... I'm not a rambling typer! :p
Large renovated character home. I've lived here for the last 4 years but with 3 other roommates, comfortably (who sadly recently moved to South America) so there are 2 spare bedrooms but I'm currently only looking to fill 1...I would be open to the idea of 3ppl in the house again but I dove love having the extra space....or potentially turning it into a massive study/library & the actual study into an art room :) hehe clearly open to options. Big bedrooms + huge wardrobe. Modern kitchen & bathroom + large Dining room, Living room & Study. Evaporative air-conditioning throughout the house, & your own reverse cycle air-conditioning unit in bedroom. Jarrah floor boards & high ceilings. Big outdoor entertaining area with table tennis table & BBQ. Garden is easy / no maintenance required by us as its taken care of by owners, but there's also a new vegie patch :) Owners are super laid back, young couple who live a few suburbs over so are always more than willing to attend to any maintenance or requests we've put forward. 2mins drive to Beaufort St / Mount Lawley. 5mins walk to the train station (1 zone to Perth CBD)
*To move in late September* Wanted: a home vs a room, friends vs strangers to live with - or alternatively, a house with enough privacy/space to be almost my own. Preferably near the river, or somewhere with a view of the sunrise/sunset, with a decent sized kitchen. I work/gym/cook/hike/party every now and then and try to see the beauty in the world 🙃 I'm not actually a hippy haha, anyway if you're renting a place that fits this description or you don't but are looking for something similar send me a message🙂

Hey, mates! I am easy-going, quiet and tidy person in my middle 30s. I am studying as a full-time student. I neither smoke nor have pets - it's just I and my suitcase. I like discussing numerous topics with friends. Despite that I spend a lot of time for studying. I respect private life of other people and never disturb them.
Great location! Owner occupied home so no rental inspections or contracts. One street back to the river and views of crown towers from your bedroom and balcony. Mins to CBD, Mt Lawley cafe strip, River, Gyms, Claisebrook cove etc. Viewing is a must. We live right near the river in Maylands on Kirkham Hill Tce near the yacht club. We are a male/female couple who are professionals in the aviation industry. We own a 3 bdrm town house with 1 bathroom upstairs and 1 bathroom/laundry downstairs. We have a courtyard for entertaining out the back. The bedroom for rent is extremely large with a balcony, triple robe and aircon / heating. We have 2 dogs one called Baxter and the other Ruby who are very friendly and non shedding / hypo-allergenic. We are looking for someone who LOVES dogs. Baxter & Ruby are extremely affectionate and when we are not home and our housemate is, we want them to be included. Baxter is a little anxious (he is a rescue) and if you ignore him he gets stressed, he craves attention- even if it is just sitting on the couch with you whilst you are watching TV. We take a few holidays a year and ask our housemate can look after them in those times- (of course rent will be reduced for this time). Rent is $170pw incl wifi & Foxtel, not incl bills. As we have solar panels our bills are pretty minimal anyway. Please let us know if you would like to come over and meet us and our dogs!
