Hi! I'm a full time art student - starting degree in Natural History Illustration this year at UON.. and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. not a big party person, being 30(ish) i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. Although I don’t really know anyone up here yet, so friendly roomies willing to go on walking/driving adventures with me and my camera would be wonderful. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
My name is Sarah, I currently live on campus at the University of Newcastle. I'm looking to move off with like minded people who preferably are vegetarian, enjoy yoga/exercise in general, hanging out together and occasionally going out over the weekend. Am really interested in teaming up with a maximum of 4 people, and getting a nice place together! I look forward to hearing from you 😊
Hello! We're a working couple looking for a room in Newcastle that we can make our home. We're both super social, easy going and active. Some things we like to get up to that keep us sane include surfing, exploring, playing/listening to music, cooking, nerding out about films, and hitting up great food and bar spots. We're tidy and are looking for a place where our housemates are too after past years of student halls and share houses which were great aside from the mess! If you feel like we would get along and make good roomies then feel free to send us a message. The closer to the beach the more bonus points! Alexandra and Johan
Hey I’m Victoria, I’m from Canberra moving to Newcastle to start a job on the 9th of April - looking to move down on the 30-31 March. I am looking to team up with 2 female housemates and find our own cool place to call home. I’ll be working full time Monday to Friday so prefer to live with somone who works similar hours. I’ve got furniture to fill a whole house including a spare bed so want to bring everything with me if possible!!! Everything is brand new appliances, TV the works. A bit about me; - I love a beer after work and even more on the weekends. - I’m a keen snowboarder so hoping to switch it up for a surfboard. - I’m loud and try to be funny but you’ll spend more time laughing at my clumsiness than my jokes - I’m mad about live music.. faves are sticky fingers and jungle giants - I have a puppy named Braxton he’s a small English Staffy and the best trained dog you will ever meet because I’m a tough love kinda mum. (He will be coming with me) - I’m super clean freak so don’t mind me when I clean up after you Overall I’m pretty keen to get down and find a sick place and make some new friends soooo.... Hopefully you read this and think wow what a cool lass, let’s team up and find a rad house we can call our own ;) Open to live anywhere that’s cute, happy to pay more for the master room.

Hello, my names Melanie. I’ve just turned 20 and I’m so ready to leave the small rural town I’ve called home for my whole life. Im working perm part time in Mudgee atm (like 3-4 hrs away from Newcastle) but Im keen to move into the Newcastle area to become a student at Tafe and get a part time job. I’m supa easy to get along with, love a laugh, I’m clean and so easy going. Any and every festival are my go to for fun, I also enjoy art and singing. Alone time is a must but I’m also always up for a chat.
I’m so easy to get along with, extremely clean and tidy. I wouldn’t get in your way at all, would just stick to myself but also very happy to chat 😋 I’m working full time and studying, so I won’t be home too much, I like going to the gym and keeping up my fitness. I enjoy going to the movies and the beach.
This house is situated in the most incredible location overlooking the beautiful city of Newcastle with sweeping views of Merewether, Dixon, Bar and Stockton beach. It's less than a 5 minute drive to the beach, the junction, darby and beaumont street. The house is fully furnished except the room available for rent. There is one bathroom which we all share but a second toilet downstairs. The room is $145 rent p/w and the internet, water and power bills are split evenly. We love waking up to the sunrise over the water and the view of city lights at night. We have a fire place to keep us warm in winter and a balcony to sun bake on in summer. We have a large kitchen and communal living space we all enjoy to hang out in.
Situated in Merewether, the beach, shops, pubs and bus stops are only a short walk away. The house has three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, living room, double garage, one bathroom and a second toilet downstairs. The house is fully furnished, and the room is unfurnished (but we do have spare furniture in the garage if needed). Plenty of on street parking. Preferably looking for someone that works full time.
I'm a tidy and respectful tenant. I'm always willing to do my part. I love to relax and i also love a party. I am very easy to get along with and have a good sense of humour. I also love British TV shows. I'm from a small coastal town 4 hrs north of Sydney called Forster. I love to sing, play guitar and piano. I also love the beach and going out for meals/other stuff.
My partner and I are both 31 and 33 looking for a place for us and our high school aged daughter.(12) We are an active, clean little clan looking for a place for 12months before we buy. Both my partner and I are social workers, financially stable and easy going friendly people but also understand social cues and know when to give others space. I am a yoga teacher, and am into photography, art and healthy living. We are out and about most days at the gym, the beach, doing school events and or relaxing in quiet at home. We have a little kitten his name is Jack sparrow. 😊 We are flexible with rent and happy to chat costings. Anything else you might like to know contact us at your convenience. Tegan, Lucian and Matilda.
Hi! I'm Brazilian and PhD student in Paediatric at UoN. Now, I’m living in Newy but my housemate is moving to Sdy, so I’ll also need to move to another house. Previously, I lived in Newcastle during 1 year and a half for a semester abroad at UoN. I'm tidy, quiet, easy going, respectful and clean and don't mind an occasional wine. Love making new friends and big fan of trying new foods!
I'm a newly graduated optometrist from New Zealand starting my first year of work in the Newcastle area. Looking to team up or join an existing sharehouse with other young workers or students. Prefer a place where everyone is good friends and likes to get together for a few drinks on occasion. If you think I would fit into your place, flick me a message!
Hey, I am a working professional which I travel away for work every now and then. I love a good chat but also love my alone time. I love music but there's a time and a place for it being loud. I love the outdoors particularly the beach, travel and doing nothing. I have a queen size bed, lounge, coffee table and a desk so am looking for a large room to rent to be able to set up my projector to play playstation 😊 (fast internet is a must have) I would like to be able to invite friends and family over on occasions but not on a regulalry occurance. Anyways if you think you have a large space for me and my things please send me a message.
Hi there! My names Lauren, I’m 28 turning 29 in March and am looking for a room to rent. My engagement recently ended and we are still living together but it’s time I moved on and away from him. I work full time as a manager in retail. I do own a dog his name is benji, he’s a staffy X and is two years old. He doesn’t bark, doesn’t chew or destroy anything,he’s not aggressive to anyone he does get a little over excited when meeting new people but he won’t hurt anyone. I do also have a pet rat named dozer but he is reaching the end of his life and won’t be here much longer. I do smoke but only every outside, all in all I’m a nice, genuine person, can be a bit shy at first, and I’m very much a “homebody”
I'm 21 and a Scorpio, I'm fun at parties and am happy to play the designated driver if needed. I have just moved to the Newcastle area and am looking for a decent group of people to live with. I may be quiet at first but don't take that as a sign of rudeness, I'll warm up to you. My only rule is: if you respect my privacy, I'll respect yours.
Hey I’m Emma I’m 24 and I’m studying at the university of newcastle full time. I’m a youth worker so I’m not home very often as I work a lot. I’m clean and tidy and very easy to get along with but understand everyone needs their own space also! I also have a gorgeous dog who is very well behaved ☺️ I love being outdoors and playing sport. If you have a space in your home feel free to contact me!
Hi, I have two jobs - working full time through the week, and on Friday and Saturday nights. I am clean, tidy, friendly, down to Earth, enjoy socialising but also like my own space. I enjoy reading, watching movies, yoga, I go to bootcamp, and like to have a social drink. Pretty laid back. Not noisy but not a hermit either!
Hey I’m Loz 😋 I’m 21 and work full time in retail. I currently live in a share house in Belmont but am looking for somewhere a little closer to the beaches and town. I also don’t drive, so living close to bus routes is an essential for me. I'm super easy to get along with! I'm very social, love going out and about with friends for lunches or some drinks on the weekend, but I also love my down time too - binge watching tv shows or listening to music. Please feel free to message me if you want to know anything else 😀
I've been living in Newcastle for the past couple of months, my lease is up and now I'm looking for somewhere new to live! I'm looking for a place with a good location and some fun/sociable house-mates. Outside of work I try and stay active, (gym, skiing, bike riding). Otherwise, I don't mind the occasional beer/wine, I'm easy going, tidy and I'm an okay cook. If you think we'd be a good fit send me a message
I'm currently living on-campus at the university and am looking at moving off to somewhere quieter and more my own space. I'm currently in my second year of secondary teaching and i am also working casually averaging 4-5 shifts per week. My boyfriend Alex lives back home in Dubbo and is planning on moving to Newcastle to further his studies once he finds a job, so it would be just us 2! We are both super tidy people, love quiet nights in and always helping around the house. We both enjoy active lifestyles going to the gym & footy for Alex. We are looking for a peaceful home whether it be renting a room or whole property. Message me if you have any questions. Cheers!
I’m a grown up female woman. I will more than happily clean, I cook and I like to keep a safe, harmonious and quiet during the week environment to co- exsist in. I work weekends but I totally understand everyone has to have fun! I have excellent spelling, as I am an English and writing Major at uni and I ride a bike so I don’t need a parking space. I work in town so ideally would like somewhere close to that if I can.
I am a young male, who has left left home in Nowra to to start a new life in Newcastle. i enjoy cooking( i am happy to cook for people, as long as they are happy to eat) and I don't mind doing house work if needed. I pretty layed back and like to keep to myself, but I don't mind chatting at times. I work casually at a fast food place, while looking for other work. I am looking for somewhere to stay for awhile (1 year +)
Easy to get along with. neat and tidy. Pretty quiet during the week but enjoy to be social on the weekends. Live a very active lifestyle and love going on little adventures
I'm just looking for a nice apartment or townhouse close into Newcastle. i work 4-6 days so I'm barely ever home. I usually spend anytime I have just going to the gym, beach, pretty relaxed outside of work. looking for a year preferably.
