Welcome to my profile Looking to catch a break with finding someone decent, I have had honestly the worst luck with people on here so please only serious people. Either someone to join me in the complex I am currently living but move to a higher level which is in Southport mid July. Or... Teaming up to find a place, I am open to live anywhere from Miami to Labrador Sorry but I’m fussy and only interested in modern apartments or townhouses. 😅 ALLERGIES - Cats. If you have a cat, it won’t work unfortunately. ABOUT ME - I’m a positive and drama free person, keep a clean and uncluttered house. I either working, out shopping, having dinner with a friend or just relaxing at home. Very rarely have people over but want a roommate that’s not fussed if people come to visit. Love to cook, I make an amazing mushroom risotto or even a chicken, mushroom, potato and leek pie 🥧 I am super considerate of others I live with. I will often go out of my way to make sure I don’t inconvenience my flatmates. I work as a babysitter, and also do promotions work. LENGTH OF LEASE - I am only interested in 12 months leases or longer. Nothing less. ROOM - I am only interested in having my own bathroom not shared and an unfurnished room as I have my own furniture. FURNITURE - I have a washing machine which I could either keep or sell. Happy to buy things like fridge, lounge ect if you help with moving costs or something. Can further discuss that. HOUSE HOLD ITEMS - I have everything we would need. Happy to supply quality household items if they are taken care of. ABOUT YOU - Would be nice to find a roommate that likes to have a chat sometimes and a couple drinks together. Pretty please don’t message me if you are the type of person that doesn’t check dishes are clean before putting them away, leave dishes to “soak” while you go on a 2 week holiday or someone who doesn’t wipe the kitchen bench or stove after they use it. Those people can stay far away from me! 😂😂 Anyways thanks for reading and hopefully talk soon
Resort style living in Mermaid Beach on the highway just a 5 minute walk from the beach. It is a two bedroom unit in Diamond Sands Resort, your bedroom has access to the balcony and you would have the main bathroom as yours. Fully furnished - $210 a week plus bills (electricity and gas/hot water) Internet not included but you can arrange if needed. Air conditioning in the lounge room. Fully equipped kitchen that has all you need (no dishwasher though in case you think that’s a necessity) Queen mattress and carpet in the bedroom has recently been steam cleaned. Diamond Sands Resort has a large lagoon pool, surrounding by a tropical garden and fitted with sun loungers. There is a secure gate to enter the resort and the block where my unit is located also has a security door. There is guest parking inside the resort but you would need to find street parking, it's not usually a problem though. Balcony has views of Mermaid Waters and you can see out to magic mountain in Nobby's beach from the bedrooms. The unit is quiet and has no traffic noise. Cleanliness is important especially in the common areas and kitchen. No smokers, pets or couples - Sorry! I'm a pretty chilled, easygoing chick who works at a gym from 1 -7pm and usually gym myself in the mornings. I am usually out of the house from 9/10am to 7pm and just like to relax when I get home . I'm looking for a flatmate who is clean and tidy, doesn’t smoke or drink heavily, has a job or studies and keeps busy. Preference would be to someone who lives a healthy, active lifestyle so we have some things in common but it’s not necessary. In my spare time I’m usually at the gym, beach, surfing (well trying to), hanging with friends or going on an adventure somewhere. If you think we would be a good fit and you're okay with all of the above, send me a message telling me a bit about yourself.
Hey there, I enjoy surfing and diving and have lived a pretty active life. I'm currently taking a break from work for a bit of physical rehab, as I was injured while working my previous job. I enjoy being social and love to cook. I am clean and tidy and always remember bin day ;)
Hey I’m Camille and I am from California but am a dual Aussie-American citizen moving from Sydney! I love the Gold Coast and I am excited to be planning to move in July. I am passionate about health and wellness and I love to cook, do yoga, and enjoy the beach. I am very tidy and respectful and I don’t drink or smoke. Looking for a flat mate/mates who are also health oriented and kind.
Will be spending most times at work as i do straight shifts from morning to night. I have a sensitive nose and would make sure there isnt much dust around. Other than that i am pretty flexible with things. Love doing sports , will surf and do crossfit during my off days.
Hi, my names Andrew. I work full time in the office for a construction company (7am-5pm). I am quite active, enjoy surfing, gym and fitness. I like to live in a clean and tidy property preferably close to the beach. I am easy going, polite, considerate and respectful of other people and their property. I have my own bedroom furniture and plenty of cooking/ household appliances. Have any awesome day :)
I’m currently looking for a flatmate or a room. I have two weeks to move from the place I’m currently in as the lease is ending. I’m already applying for some places, but would love to have someone up to move in with me, with the same urgency as me. Message me if you are looking for a tidy and cozy house between Mermaid and Palm Beach.
Adelaide bloke, been on the coast for 2 years now and love the lifestyle. Work full time in flooring, like to dive, hike, camp, have been trying to surf lately and i dont mind a drink here and there. Looking for a house to move into with some similar people wich would also have some storage space for some of my work/camping gear.
Hey Guys, we are uncomplicated and tolerant students from Berlin who recently started our working holiday experience in Sydney. We want to practice our language skills and think about staying for at least 1 month to save some money for our travel. Back in Germany my boyfriend Theo was studying engineering and worked part time as chef. I completed my education in rehabilitation pedagogy. We would be very happy about finding some flatmates who spend some time with us and show us around. You would definitly do us a huge favour if you have a free room and contact us to meet you in person. We are looking forward to hearing from you! Theo & Luisa
Hi! I'm Miranda, I'm 26, I teach grade 1 and own a 2 year old Border collie x Cattle dog called Rusty. I’m a really relaxed easy going girl, and Rusty is super friendly and loves cuddles. I love cooking and make good use of a kitchen. I am super tidy and never late with any bills or rent, I am normally the one in charge of doing all of that. Rusty and I would love to live somewhere super chilled, where we can watch movies and hang out or have dinner with our roomies. I have plenty of furniture of my own including a fridge, dining table, couches etc so a team up would be ideal! I'd love to meet you if you think me and Rusty would fit your house!
**found a place but leaving my listing active until I’ve moved in just (29/06) in case** Hi I’m Cristy. I need to move somewhere new, preferably as soon as possible :) I’m looking for a place to call home with kind, mature and friendly people. I have my own bedroom furniture so a large unfurnished room or a bit of storage would be amazing! ****please MUST have either off street parking/carspace or free, EASY to find and UNLIMITED parking out the front of the place**** Originally from Sydney, I am very used to sharing accommodation. I consider myself to be very considerate and quiet. Definitely extremely clean, respectful and tidy. I’m health conscious and an early morning person, so would prefer an environment where there aren’t late night parties or gatherings all the time. I work in Residential Care for youths on a fortnightly roster, so I will be away 3 arvos/nights one week, 2 arvos/nights and a weekend on the other. Since I won’t be home that much, I’m trying to keep my rent budget to max $200, if possible. When I have time off work, I generally like to get outside, go running, workout at the gym, skateboard etc. so it’s important to me that I find a place near the beach and nature. As much as I love a nice room and house, the vibe is much more important to me than how beautiful or modern it looks. So the place I’d choose would be the one where I feel most comfortable with the people I’ll be sharing with, not the most flashy location. Most importantly I’d love to flat with like-minded people who have their own lives but enjoy getting to know who they live with and would also like to form a friendship. People who are motivated, non-judgmental, open minded, care about the environment and their own wellbeing through healthy habits and maybe have also done a bit of travel for life experience. It’s essential that the home is completely drug free (if possible smoke-free as well, but that’s alright outside - I’m mainly referring to illicit drugs of any kind). High speed Internet would be good, since I am also studying a Diploma online. (I don’t need to download a lot, just need a fast and reliable connection more than anything. I don’t watch TV so don’t really need Netflix or anything like that). If you have read this far, thank you- and I hope that if we are a good fit, the universe will allow us to find each other on this site! :) Cristy
