Hi I'm Maddie! I'm a 27 year old trans girl. I work full time in the public service, I'm easy going, clean and pretty happy doing my own thing but also always up for a chat. I'm looking for a place in the city/city fringe close to my work.
I'm a kiwi originally but have been living in Dubai for the last 6 years. I am married, with 3 primary school aged kids but they will be staying in Melbourne while I work in Adelaide from late November until early July 2017. I'm looking for preferably furnished accommodation with just one or two other people. Although I haven't been flatting since my 20's I am well house trained and very good at getting on with all sorts of people and doing my share of cleaning etc around the house. I'm pretty easy going and have a good sense of humour. I will be working at the airport and will be doing shiftwork on a 24/7 roster. Most shifts will be during the day but I will need a place where I can sleep during the day occasionally or get an early night on the weekend so don't want a party house. Having said that I am more than happy to share a drink on the days I have off. I will also try to get back to my family in Melbourne on a regular basis so I won't always be around either. I'm a non smoker, live a reasonably healthy life style and happy to be around most pets.
I'm currently living in a share house in Mile End, Adelaide, which is approximately 5 km from the Henley Beach, 3 km from the cbd and only 2 minutes walk from the bus. The house has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a big garden. I’m looking for someone to take over my bedroom as my semester ends in the end of November and I’m leaving Adelaide. The bedroom is big and bright with a big window facing the front yard and road. In the bedroom there is a queen bed, a desk, a couch, two night tables and a big closet. The room is availabale from end of November. If this sounds intresting to you and/or you want totake a look at the house/room, don't hesistate to contact me.
Our two storey town house is located only about 50 metres from the Bus stop 4 on Henley Beach Road, Mile End (go zone). So there's a direct connection to the CBD/Uni and the beach ;) In summer, the cycling path is also a good option. The room is comfortably big, furnished with a double bed, and offers a lot of room for storage with two wardrobes, two nightstands and a large shelf including many drawers. Highlights are the double bed and the balcony. The room also has a seperate access to the shared bathroom. It's air-conditioned and very light due to the big double door window. An electric heater is provided, too. Additionally, the bedding, paintings and a bike can be taken over. A shopping centre, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance of our house. The house is nicely done up, fully equipped (from camping chair to blender, we literally have everything) and even includes a small garden - great option for BBQs. On top of that, we have a small laundry room, and two seperate toilets in addition to the shared bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. The kitchen and the living room are big and perfect for hanging out with friends every once in a while. Furthermore, the house has a garage, a central heater and air-conditioning.
This amazing furnished 4 level town house, is only minutes to the CBD in the bustling suburb of Mile End. The building was originally the electricity converter station to power the trams along Henley Beach Road, and still oozes plenty of charm and character. The lower level features a generous ground floor living area, where heated polished concrete floors are a chic, contemporary reference to the building's industrial heritage. This open plan level, also offers a fantastic white kitchen with built in microwave and dishwasher plus 4 burner gas cook top, double sink, and ample cupboards. The available double bedroom is located on the second floor and features stunning Tasmanian oak floors, large built in robes, a ceiling fan and a reverse cycle air conditioner. The top floor is separated in to two separate living areas by the staircase, and further benefits from lofty cathedral ceilings. The fourth level patio area offers stunning views of the Adelaide views and city. Ceiling fans, reverse cycle air conditioning on each level, a security alarm, video intercom are also provided for your comfort. Brilliantly located within walking distance to shopping and eateries, close to the CBD, public transport, and much more! Don't miss out!
I'm currently working in IT in the heart of the city full time and am looking to move into one of the Eastern suburbs from the Hills. I'm friendly and looking for people who are easy going, and enjoy either hanging out or having their own space. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I’m leaving my room in two weeks, the house is very big and currently four people are living in it. Two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and big garden. The contract is with student rooms therefore it will last until January but it’s possible to extend it. The price is $176 per week including unlimited wifi, while the electricity bills are based on usage. It also includes a cleaner coming over every two weeks to clean the common areas and a gardener. The area is really nice with lots of restaurants and supermarkets, well connected to the city center ( 10 minutes by bus) and also to the beach.
I am looking for a new place call home with some easy going, fun loving, house mates (preferably female) who will be happy to share their home with me and my two furbabies. I currently work full time and also casually in hospitality so I come and go and fair bit and when I'm not at bootcamp or hot yoga I enjoy dinners and chats over a glass of wine and movie nights in with a glass of wine. Did I mention wine? I'm not looking for a party house but I do like to have dinner dates and the occasional night on the town. I come with baggage (dont we all) - two well behaved indoor cats who spend most of their time sleeping, eating or chasing each other around he house (well the younger one chases, the older one runs away). I hope that my new housemates can get along with my feline friends. If you are keen on teaming up or have a room to rent let me know. I am hoping to say out in the Western suburbs, near the beach or close to the city. Send me a message if you are keen! Happy house hunting 😸
Friendly, easy-going housemate who's been working full-time as a Marketing Manager in the arts for 5 years. I'm out of the house a lot for work/events, social life, so home tends to be my chill-out space, with the odd dinner/small party - housemate nights in with wine have become a bit of a habit I'd love to continue! I have pretty eclectic tastes, but i generally love music, sport, anything summer-related, oh and I dance once a week! I'm neat, tidy and very respectful of communal areas (my room may get a bit untidy with clothes during the week, but it will never be dirty). Don't have a gender preference for sharing (have share with both over the years), looking for a nice, safe home with like-minded, people I can hopefully become friends with also! Preferably in the CBD, as I haven't got a car since I got back from my o/s sabbatical, but happy to look 5km-ish radius of the city and look into getting a car again. Also prefer to live with non-smoker, no cats (or spiders), but love dogs. Moving because my current flat's being sold, with my housemate's move to Melbourne, so I have to be out of my place by early-mid December, but can go earlier.
I'm a clean bubbly happy person to live with. I love my food and cooking meals. I'm into my fitness but do like to have a glass of red from time to time. I am a social person but am not a party girl would rather a BBQ or a drink at a nice pub these days. I am looking to live with clean people that like to be social with you but obviously like there own privacy.
Hi I'm Fiona!! I am 26 years old, originally from country Victoria but have become acustomed to the Melbourne city life! I am really easy going and get on with everyone (sometimes a bad trait as I seem to attract interesting people when out and about!). I am a qualified primary school teacher and I absolutely love what I do!! I have the older kids so I'm definitely not an arts and crafty prep/kindergarten teacher! Although, I wish I had some of those skills! I am engaged and am getting married on the 6th of Jan!! :)) Oh god, I still have so much to do! If I get a housemate that is super organised that will be a bonus! :) The reason I am moving to Adelaide is because I have signed to play professional netball with the Adelaide Thunderbirds. So I am making the move at the end of Oct, without my fiancé! We have done the long distance thing before so it will be fine! I love going for brunch! So ideally I find a housemate that loves heading out to try the local cafes!! I'll obviously be very active and will be cooking pretty healthy meals while at home. I do however love a glass of wine and a good chat!! I have lived in sharehouse situations for the last 8 years. I understand share house etiquette and I'm not anal over small things! (I have lived with boys for the last 6 years, so I'm used to dealing with their messy ways!) Not sure what else you write here? But get in touch if you want a housemate that is a bit of a goofball, up for a laugh and is happy to do her own thing. Cheers!! Fi

hii there! my name is sarah and I am a 20 year old paralegal in a city law firm. I work mon-fri full time and I study law and politics outside of work hours. I am a super social and friendly person, however respect everyone's privacy and quiet time. looking for housemates who bring quality banter :)
I'm clean and tidy, easygoing and friendly. I value my privacy but also love shared living, particularly when it involves wine and a good movie. I'm currently working full time but will be returning to Uni next year to study my masters. I love art and beautiful spaces, cooking, music and reading. I also enjoy baking, and will provide housemates with a regular supply of cupcakes and cookies. I've been living in share houses for the past six years so I'm very comfortable with everything that they involve - paying bills and rent on time, being accommodating and respectful of housemates, and enjoying sharing a home with like minded people.
My name is Madeleine, 21, university student , non smoker, part-time worker when I'm not studying. I'm looking for friendly place with less drama and close to the city or easy transportation system for easy access to uni and work. Don't mind teaming up to rent a place too as I'm flexible and love my weekend hangout with friends and family. Also respect others privacy, that shouldn't be a problem because I spend my time between study, gym, and work. Would love a house mate that love to chat once in a while or go out for drunks sometime.
This house at Mile End, located 3. 5 kms from Adelaide (and easy walking distance to regular public transport, shops and cafes) and close to airport. It is an older style house but cosy, with 1 bathroom and 2 toilets, a combined large fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living area. Each bedroom has a bed (double), desk & chair, wardrobe, drawers, bookshelves, heater and fan etc. Each bedroom has a lock if you need to store anything securely. The rent includes your power, water and gas expenses however internet access is managed through the household, rather than by me and occupants pay approximately $15 Aus per month depending on their usage.
Pretty relaxed person, i do work full time as a butcher in plympton. This means early morning starts, but i promise to be quiet as possible. I’m 23 years old and I work part-time as a library customer service officer. When I’m not being a library cat, I’m a writer for a couple of online and print magazines in the fields of arts/food/entertainment. I love seeing bands, travelling, cooking (and eating!) Mexican and curling up with a great read.

Close to the city and the beach. Has a beautiful park just outside the front door. Perfect for city Uni students or workers. The room is quite small, but has a built in robe and another wardrobe, plus shelving. I lived in it for three years and loved it. Best suits a single bed but could fit a larger bed if you don't have much other furniture.

Hey, I'm a 23 year old professional working full time and am about to begin studying psychology part time as well. I am looking for a room to rent in the southern or western areas of Adelaide, preferably close to the CBD. I have 1 young cat who is house broken and extremely friendly, so it is critical that you are not allergic and can accommodate my cat. I am an easy going, fun and tidy person, who is respectful of other people. I do occasionally like to have friends over for drinks and games although I don't have wild parties. I am looking for a home that I can live in for at least 6 months and hopefully longer assuming the mix is good and positive.
Townhouse very close to the city. Free tram nearby which goes into the city centre. Quiet area. Currently international students. All rooms have private keyed locks. Suit uni students. Furnished with fridges, washing machine, desks, chairs, microwave. Recently a new kitchen has been installed. Lease is negotiable.
Greetings! Very soon I hope to find a lovely share house with lovely people where I can park my van home. It will basically act as a granny flat in the backyard or side of a house with like-minded great people. I won't have wash facilities so will occasionally need access to the bathroom of the house, however I bathe from a basin usually so I will not need to use it that much! I am striving for a happy sustainable life, eventually moving from van life to tiny house life (a far way down the track). I study part-time and make coffee the other times. I am great to live with because I am fairly conscience, don't waste anything, I am respectful, light-hearted, plus a good dancer and a great hugger. This house may temporary or long-term, depending on what we all want and agree! 'Drive'-in date is unclear as of yet. Get in touch :)
I've just moved back to Adelaide after 4 years in London, and trying to see the city with new eyes :) I love to cook, am very neat and clean, and am sharehouse-trained. My time outside of work is spent on cooking, fitness, travel and cultural stuff - always keen for new adventures :)
