Cute townhouse near to everything! The Gaba Tepe House is one of just four townhouses on the block. There are 3 bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms (powder room downstairs next to the laundry) and is two storeys. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms. The house is softly carpeted upstairs and has recently been painted, there are also new block-out blinds throughout. The neighbours are pretty quiet and respectful of privacy. This is the ideal share house for anyone who is neat, respectful and looking to be near the city. Free street parking is available. There is a large living and dining room area with a well-appointed kitchen just adjacent to this space. There is a large table for six people, which is great for sharing a meal. A great cross breeze comes through on a warm day, with an airconditioning unit downstairs when it goes very hot. Outside is a small courtyard and entertaining space; I am doing up the garden so that it is a nice space to have a cup of tea or DnM's. There is a full washing line outside that also folds away. There is also a washing machine next to the powder room. The kitchen is usually fully stocked and has a new dishwasher. I love to make a good slow-cooked meal! Electric stovetop, oven and plenty of storage space available in the kitchen. Your bedroom is upstairs to the right of the stairs next to the guest bathroom. It has a built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, fly screen windows, blackout curtains and is a very cosy space. At the moment, the room is furnished but this is flexible if you would prefer to bring your own furniture. There is also a small study room across the hall. You will have full use of the guest bathroom, which has its own sink, vanity mirror, and bathtub over the shower. A brand new toilet was just installed at the start of this year. Nearby, there are two fantastic breweries (Slipstream Brewing and Helios Brewing), a train station, a Woolworths, F45, awesome coffee shops all within walking distance - its an awesome suburb to live in! Bills will be split (Internet and electricity) equally; the internet is NBN-unlimited ($70/month total) and electricity is usually pretty cheap (approx. $200/quarter). The TV has a Chromecast and is easily Netflix-compatible. Move-in date is immediate, and I am happy to be flexible on the term of stay. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I work part time as draftsman in Brisbane. I am a quite person busy with my schedules and I am looking for a place with respectful flatmates who are clean and friendly. Outside my work I enjoy doing exercise, swimming and doing some sport like table tennis. I am looking for a place which is flexible with the length of stay.
I'm originally from Brisbane, and after living overseas for the past 12 months I'm moving back. I'm looking for somewhere close to Bowen Hills/Herston area OR anywhere with reasonably good access to a train line or busways on the south side. I'm hoping to secure a furnished room for 3 months, with a possibility of extension while I settle back into life in Brisbane. I'm a young professional, who will be working full-time on shift work. I tick the usual boxes; clean and tidy up after myself. Reliable, no issues paying bills/rent. I'm easy going, respectful, I don't get fussed by the small things and get along with everybody. A place with guaranteed off street parking is a bonus.
The house is just a 5 minute walk away from buses, woolworths, bws and nandos, with hairdressers, cash converters and a chemist being very close too. Train station is about a 10 minute walk away. The yard is fairly big, there's plenty of airflow for the summer and a spacious living/ lounge room.
Self-confessed introvert but enjoy hanging out with friends and family. Happy to be social with room mates but also enjoy alone time. Quiet, clean and conscientious room mate. Outside of work and on weekends I like trying to stay active (gym, Zumba and social sports), reading, going to the football, sometimes getting crafty, binging Netflix, eating, and exploring where I live. Would love to travel more too (in love with NZ but also want to return to Europe). I also cook and bake (my specialty is pink lemonade cupcakes). I have a small dog, Teddy. He's Australian Terrier x Pomeranian x Kelpie x Cattle Dog aka a mutt. Need somewhere pet friendly with a small yard preferable. Not a smoker and never will be (thanks asthma). Have my own car and happy to be taxi (within reason). Looking to move in early to mid January 2020 as my current lease will be up.
