About the house: This surprisingly large x4 bedroom weatherboard cottage has been completely renovated throughout. There are x4 bedrooms (x1 guest bedroom for friends and family) x2 bathrooms, a small study, a formal living area and casual living area. The house is completely furnished however the bedroom is unfurnished. We have plenty of room for entertaining with have a sweet little porch to the front of the property and a large deck to the rear. Whilst this is a subdivided block there is also a courtyard at the back with a fire pit. Location: This house is in a nice quiet and leafy street off Lincoln Road, and is less than a 5minute drive to either Mooroolbark or Croydon Stations or shopping and 10minutes to Chirnside Park Shopping Centre. We would also consider applicants with dogs on the provision they get along with our dog however no cats. The cost breakdown: This room is advertised for $190 + Bills and one month’s rent as bond. We do not include bills in our price simply because we want housemates to be accountable for service usage. As we are new to the house we have not yet had a bill come in to give an estimate, but from 5+ years’ experience in multiple share houses I have never had to put away more than $10 a week. Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. Sadly, after some 20 years, I had a bad experience when nursing and made the decision to try alternative work (Happy to go into details if you'd like to know - I'm fine now but needed a change). I'm currently doing forklift work in Kilsyth, but I'm enjoying it. It's hard work but the people are great. So, am looking at rentals / flatshare in that area -Kilsyth, Croydon, Bayswater, Boronia, Lilydale, etc I'm also focusing more on my music composing. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. It seemed to help and it felt good to see her smile. So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times. I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and as well as working full time, I also make a point of doing regular volunteer work where I can. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
I am a trustworthy person with a bubbly personality who enjoys life and also enjoys just chilling out at home. I work in the health industry and enjoy music. Getting out enjoying great food and awesome friends. Looking to settle back in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
We are a young Argentinian couple moving to Melbourne for professional work. We are looking for a place to stay during our first weeks until we settle down and have the appropiarte time to look for a permanent residence. We will arrive to Australia on the 4th of March. We are a quiet and tidy couple who will take care of the place. We are willing to live with up to two flatmates and we would prefer a private bathroom.
I work full time as a fully qualified painter and have my own business, work 5 days a week minimum. Will sometimes/often work weekends too. I'm happy for a good chat and love a laugh. Enjoy binge watching tv shows/movies. I'm clean and tidy and will keep my areas clean. Enjoy my privacy when needed but also happy to chat and i can cook too so happy to have a communal dinner/lunch every now and then too. I'm a tradie so i have my fair share of tools. I dont need a lot of space but if a shed/garage is already there and you could spare me some space then awesome. If not then i have my own shed that i could build in the back yard if possible. Love my sport. I play basketball twice a week, enjoy a round of golf, a pick up game of tennis is awesome. And love watching a game of footy every now and then. My time at home is usually spent spending some time with the housemates, reading a book or playing my PS4. I have a beautiful 6 year old border collie cross kelpie, a couple of years ago this wouldn't have been an option for me with her but dhe has settled down and become quite lazy so she doesn't need a lot of space to run around in anymore. She is loving and friendly with every person she meets and doesnt have a mean bone in her body. She does enjoy spending every second of time with me if she can. Often will take her to work with me every day so she wont be a hastle and i will obviously clean up after her. I think i wrote more about her then i did about myself haha.
Hi there potential landlords or housemates, I'm a female, 37 year old (young at heart) friendly and clean. I am a great housemate/tenant because I can adapt to any situation and place pretty easily without complaints or stress! I want my future house to be a home not just accomodation! I want it to be my sanctuary where I feel safe and peaceful. I don't mind what age you are or what you do or don't do.. that's your business! I respect ones privacy and also am happy to socialise or have a chat every now and then.. I also need privacy lol. I'm honest and direct. I prefer to sort out any problems immediately and believe trust and honesty would be very crucial if sharehouse is to run smoothly and harmoniously. private person but occasionally. I'm a huge dog lover!! I have a small/medium female dog whose 13mths old and super friendly towards humans generally to other dogs however she's been attacked a couple of times and can get protective of herself hence quickly when playing too roughly. She plays with bigger dogs better too. She is well taken care of and I clean up after her. So I do require some type of yard space. Doesn't have to be huge but a normal size backyard with grass not concrete!! The bigger the better though! We currently live in an apartment so it's not suitable. I have to move ASAP due to a bad break up and currently living with a family friend in Doncaster but I've overstayed by 2 weeks already to finding somewhere suitable is detrimental!!! It doesn't have to be available right now but not much longer than a couple of weeks time would be good. Just need to let friend know I've at least secured a place. If you'd like to know anymore pls feel free to call, txt or message on here. Thanks. Hope to hear from some good sorts... Cheers 🙂
Hi everyone! My name is Mat, I’m a 21 year old student looking for a place to live as soon as possible. I am studying physics and applied maths full time, and I also work 20-30 hour weeks. I am after the cheapest place to live (max $120 a week) in the outer eastern suburbs as I am trying to finance my whacky engineering projects. I have my own workshop in Footscray where I build rockets, combustion engines and all manner of things. With the spare time I have I like to ride motorcycles, go hiking and 4 wheel driving but also love my chill time just hanging with my roomies, watching Netflix, gaming and hosting boardgames. I love making new friends so you can expect invites to everything. Also, it should go without saying that I am LGBT+ friendly, pet friendly and I guess just friendly! Thanks for your help!

I'm a very easy going person and love being around people. I have 3 sons all grown up, who I absolutely adore and they are all living independently. I have been told I am great to share with. I was born and bred in Croydon and love this side of Melbourne. I love going out to dinner, movies or anything really. I'm not a great cook and I'm a very neat and tidy person, but I'm not your mother, so please don't think I will cook and clean for you....lol I do smoke occasionally and I'm in the process of quitting, but NEVER in doors I moved back with my 83 year old mother 6 months ago, as she was recovering from an operation, but would now like/need to live away from her again. I interact well with all ages and both genders
