Hey! Looking for somewhere not too far from the coast to call home with my two little furballs. I enjoy a good balance of quiet time to unwind and snooze but also would love a housemate that I could enjoy a few drinks with. I love music, usually always have something playing quietly in the background or singing along to some tune when I'm home. I work full time doing shift work in the city (2 days 2 nights 4 off), but don't worry I'm not asking anyone to tip toe around on the days I'm sleeping, just have to bear that in mind before you get the drum kit out. My days off are usually pretty chilled out. Usually spent hanging out with my doggos, going to the beach, gym, getting cosy with a book, little crafty projects, gardening, reading, relaxing, eating and eating some more! I'm respectful of others personal space and property and I hope the same in return. I'm conscious of power and water consumption, recycling, minimising waste where possible etc but I don't go overboard, would be nice to have someone like-minded. I do love plants and getting in the garden so bonus if there's an outdoor area with some space to tinker around in. But a secure outdoor area for myself and the dogs is a must, with off street parking. I also don't need wifi, Netflix, Foxtel etc. I have my bedroom furniture, a tv, a washing machine and kitchenware (currently in storage, but i have all the cool gadgets like slow cooker, rice cooker, juicer, bake ware etc) so flexible on what I bring to the table. Oh AND I have a hammock. It's heaven. Happy to share it! My dogs are perfect couch cuddler companions and would love if you gave them a hello and pats while I was at work! They get along well with cats and people, but not always well with big dogs. They stay outside during the day but I let the inside for some love when I'm home. They are well trained and I ensure they are floofy and clean as well as cleaned up after. If I sound like someone you'd like to share with please flick me a message. Not looking for a party house but rather a relaxing yet social space we can be comfortable to be ourselves in
Lovely, modern, fully furnished apartment with pool, ocean glimpses to Rottnest and magnificent sunsets, close to public transport in exclusive Mosman Park, is currently available from the end of December. (Over Christmas, it’s on Airbnb, and it is also currently tenanted, so the best time to view would be 15 & 16 Dec and after 30 Dec.) The flat is ideal for professionals/female FIFOs/and mature age students (preferably 2 female students who already know they want to share together - the apartment is very convenient for UWA, Notre Dame and probably with a car, Murdoch as well. If one person or a couple (eg using one bedroom) wants the apartment as a whole, the rent could be reduced to $345. The apartment has two bedrooms, if the bedrooms are rented out separately, the larger ($190/wk) has king or queen bed (still not sure!), built in wardrobe, ceiling fan, desk with lamp and chair and bedside tables. Then there’s a slightly smaller bedroom ($160) with a single bed that can convert to a queen with built in wardrobe, desk, lamp and chair. People wanting to rent for 1 year will be preferred, but the minimum contract is 6 mths. Water use and heating for water, as well as basic NBN Internet, is included in the rent. Unlimited Internet would be $35 extra a month - a shared cost between tenants. There’s a bus stops as good as outside the door; bus stops 6 mins away in Stirling Highway; and, Victoria Street station an 8 mins walk. To give some idea re convenience while living in this beautiful location: it's 20 mins by train or driving to Perth; 20 mins by bus (also buses to UWA connect to the train) and 12 mins drive to UWA; 2 train stops to Fremantle; to Notre Dame Uni, 23 minutes door to door by bus, and 20 mins by train door to door. Meantime you can walk to a nearest beach on average in 14 minutes and drive to both beach and river in 4 mins. Cottesloe Beach is a 6 mins drive. There are bike paths everywhere, especially along the beach and the river, and the apartment building has a lock up bike room. The double glazed apartment with reverse cycle ac is fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, vacuum cleaner, iron, cooking utensils etc, fridge, lamps, bookshelf, table, chairs, sofa (sofa bed), beanbag, modern remote controlled ceiling fans throughout, portable a/c, all bedding, towels and more, and everything is comparatively new. The flat was not long ago repainted and re-carpeted. It also has a new, secure visual entry system. The recently renovated building has a new lift and centralized water. There is a laundry with industrial sized washing machines and driers for larger items, but the apartment has a washing machine. A caretaker lives on site. There is also a pleasant, featured garden. A shopping centre with a revamped Coles supermarket, open air cinema, ’Camelot’ and trendy 'Rodney’s Bait and Tackle' bar with great seafood are all within walking distance. An IGA supermarket is a 2 min drive. Peppermint Grove has arguably the best gourmet food delicatessen in Perth, approx 6 mins drive or hop off at Cottesloe Station. There are fashionable shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby and in the surrounding suburbs. You can enjoy strolling around this older, leafy suburb and just enjoy the lovely houses and gardens. You won’t beat the location for the best BBQ spots in Perth along the Swan River and overlooking the sea. If you enjoy golf, tennis, bowls etc there are plenty of clubs to join. The bond is 4 weeks rent and references and past rental references will be required. For conscientious younger students, a parents’ rent guarantee will also be required. Private rental; please contact me for more information and to make a viewing time.
Hey potential housemates, I am Perth local looking to move back to the big smoke after spending sometime in the country. I will be studying at Notre Dame next year so looking for something between freo and the city to settle into. I come with very sweet kelpie puppy who is well trained but oh so friendly and energetic (thinks everyone wants her to lick their face). I currently work part-time from home (sleep scientist) which will cover rent & bills. Will also be jumping on the AusStudy train when semester starts. Very easy going and respectful of space/cleanliness!
I’m a very easy going, laid back person. I don’t mind a good Netflix marathon with a bottle of red and pizza, a wild night out or a quiet night in. I work full time (Monday-Friday) and currently study part time through OUA. I'm very clean and tidy and love to cook! My only catch is I have two beautiful little fur babies. Buddha his a Bulldog and Taj my Shitzu. Both are very clean relaxed dogs that I walk twice a day. I am a healthy person that loves the beach, surfing, fishing, camping and just anything to do with the ocean and outdoors. Would love to share with like minded people.
heya I’m jas I work part time @officeworks and studying my first semester of Psychology at Murdoch. If I'm not out studying or working, I'm seeing family, friends, in nature, going to art classes etc etc. I am a bit of a socialite when I want to be and enjoy sharing a drink, but otherwise I enjoy down time. Ive had previous experience flat sharing and really enjoyed it. I'm tidy and respectful 😊 my only request would be that me flitting in and out of the house isn't an inconvenience because sometimes I can be out late, or I forget something and come back for the thing twice...sometimes three times haha
Hi I’m Olivia! I’m moving from Brisbane to Perth to start studying medicine at UNDF. I love the beach and live an active lifestyle. I am hoping to move in with other likeminded people who enjoy a combination of both chilling at home or going for weekend afternoon bevs. I will be at uni most days studying and am a respectful, clean house mate. I enjoy cooking and running and listening to music.
Hi, I'm Maddie! I'm originally from Adelaide, but am moving to WA to study medicine at the University of Notre Dame in early Jan. Outside of study I am employed as a maths/ physics tutor, and enjoy music, going to the gym, cooking and having a wine with friends. Looking to live with other students in a friendly, tidy and respectful household.
Hey! I'm finishing up my undergrad at UWA in 2019 and starting a gap-year for 2020. Before I return to uni for postgraduate studies, I thought I'd escape the family home, and work full-time as a barista. I'm a tidy person who enjoys time alone, but would be absolutely stoked to have a housemate I'm close friends with! I'm into coffee, working out and reading. I spend most of my spare time pursuing my hobbies but I enjoy a good night out every so often :). Oh and I'm planning on making my Spanish skills less shit during this gap year so if you're keen to learn with me that'd be awesome :')
I’m a creative town planner working full time for government. My hobbies include: playing and enjoying music, going on weekend adventures, nature and food, wine and everything fine. I love animals and preferably would love to live in a sharehouse with animals / live in a sharehouse that will allow me to have my family dogs come over for a play/sleepover. I am very clean and tidy and take pride in maintaining my space and home, so I’m looking to share with likeminded people that also call their home their sanctuary and also like to keep common areas clean. I’m respectful and not a party animal, however I’ll never say no to a cheese and wine night and I’m hoping I can find some roomies to cheese/wine/bachelorette with! My ideal housemates will be in a similar life stage to myself. I am happy to keep busy and give you space as required but definitely keen to find some likeminded women I can bounce off and call family. I already come with bedroom furniture, houseplants, two couches and some outdoor furniture however I am flexible and can leave this stuff where I am currently living. I work in front of a computer all day so don’t really need wifi as I like to disconnect after work if life permits :) ideally I’d like to move straight into an already established sharehouse but I am open to finding a nice house to setup from scratch with the right people, hit me up if you want to live with me :)
