Hey all! I am a Lithuanian who from this March is coming to Australia to teach children Lithuanian language in the language school called "Spindulys" in Brisbane. I couple of weeks ago I successfully defended by bachelor thesis in the International Business and Communication field and for almost one year I am staying in Portugal - I did my exchange there and currently I am completing my second internship in the Port wine company. I am a true life lover that sees the world around in many different colors. :) Let's talk!
My friends know me as very easy going and I can get along well with anyone. Honesty and respect are paramount to me, I don't stuff people around as i don't like being stuffed around. Lived on the GC for a couple of years now working as an ecologist, spent previous seven years in Central Oz. I start my new job end of this year with the office based in Fortitude Valley so I'm aiming to live within 30 to 40 minutes from there. Originally a country fella, like to think I'm very trustworthy, dependable, capable at anything, and good sense of humour (necessary for surviving in the desert). I mostly keep to myself as I am usually quite busy but I do have to get out there and do more fun things. I do enjoy a bit of exercise and aim to keep healthy. I have a great dane x, not overly big, which I know can be a challenge accommodation wise but she is truly beautiful, gets along well with other dogs, trained reasonably well and she believes everyone is here best friend (easily proven once people meet her). I may have to work away at times for a week, so the ideal place for me is where my dog is welcome to stay without me (I do realise this may be challenge!) or I may just have to put her in good kennel while I'm gone.
I'm a very musical person. I have alot of instruments (violin. Guitar. Cello. Ukelele ect) I'm working towards graduating at Everton Park (in grade 12) and Starr uni straight away. I'm an outgoing person. Love to meet new people and really need accommodation asap. I'm willing to be flexible with whatever needs possible. :)
hi! im new to qld and am looking to find a quiet and relaxing place to call home. i am a Part time student studying counselling and am working part time in disability care, my favorite things are adventure drives and reading. I am quiet but am easy to get along with.I have much experience in share houses and have enjoyed getting to know many people while we go about our days with a catch up now and then. I have a 4 month old kelpie named Luna and would love to find somewhere where there is a nice backyard and another dog for a buddy when out, also hoping to find somewhere that has alot of greenness:)
Quite, like our space and privacy . Do like meeting others have a beverage or bbq. Greg is quite social as well and not home often. I work 3 days a week permanently but at times more. We do have 2 cars so are looking for somewhere to park thats safe as well. We have 3 Golden Retrievers girls , they are desexed and get along well with others , they come to work with me. We like our girls to have access to inside and out . They are fully vaccinated, are on monthly worming and flea control. We Like travelling, camping ,4x4, having a bbq, fishing, playing board games or cards.
I'm an easy going bloke who likes to keep my home clean. I work 6 days a week and try to exercise regularly so I usually like to relax on my day off. I'm always up for having a good convo and even a cheeky drink every now and then. I'm ideally looking for a 2 bed, 2 bath unit/townhouse to share with just one other flatmate. Open to the idea of either moving into existing Sharehouse or starting up a new one with someone from this site. I have all my own furniture in storage so can bring as much or as little as needed. Looking to secure a place in the next couple of weeks.
We live very full on lives, James has a commerce degree and works at his family business and I work part time as a paralegal for a Not-For-Profit Law Firm as I finish my law degree. We both do pretty big hours and during the week generally we like to cook, chill at home and enjoy each others company. During the weekends however we try to be out of the house as much as possible either hitting the beach, hiking, 4wding, camping or being a bit fancy and going to the theatre, art gallery or checking out new restaurants. Neither of us are smokers, we are clean and tidy and are pretty social folks who like a drink and a chat. We are super welcoming and ideally would like housemates we could form an ongoing friendship with. Also, we have heaps of furniture and can bring what is needed. We are looking for a house with some storage place as we have a fair amount of camping gear. One undercover carpark would be ideal but its not a dealbreaker. On-Street parking for the other car is fine as long as it's a quiet street. 12 month stay as we finish saving for a house.
I'm 34 a professional working in marketing and communications full-time. I am well house-trained, love cooking (including for others occasionally), exercising, socialising out with friends (and my dog) but also know how to relax. I'm generally pretty easy-going and kind. VERY clean. Quiet to live with. I come with a well trained dog called Tiggi (or Mr T for short). He's been to obedience school so when i say well trained, I mean it. He is almost six and getting quite a lot more docile in his older years. He likes making new friends. I try and walk him daily, and if our new home is near a doggy daycare, he will probably go there one day a week or so. I'm looking for granny flat, unit or share house (with large bedroom and own bathroom) with a large living space and kitchen, good wardrobe that's nice and light. It needs to have a reasonable sized yard for the pup. On my weekends I like to catch up with friends, walk my dog, exercise, and explore the city and take the odd road trip. I love reading and sometimes just want to spend the day hibernating. I make resin jewellery as a hobby and love it :) I love yoga and the odd glass of canadian club and dry. I'm a very considerate housemate, very neat and tidy, keep noise to a minimum. I'm open to team ups.
Move-In Date very flexible after April 1st. Full-time student at UQ and part-time working. I study agricultural business at both the Gatton and St Lucia campuses. Recently returned from exchange in Montreal and looking for social housemates. Love to cook and often invite a friend or two over for dinner. (and don't mind cooking the occasional communal meal for everyone). Have lived in several share-houses in the past and am very considerate of other's needs. Aim to clear the air on issues before they form as to avoid conflict. I also intend on creating a 'homey' living room as I enjoy hanging out there, and would love it to be an inviting environment for everyone. Would love to start a new share-house with a group of people to build it from the ground up. If you are interested in joining, let's meet up for coffee or a hike.
Hello there, My girlfriend Ana and I are interested in moving into a lovely house (apologies, no apartments, or townhouses) with another couple, couple of friends or an individual person. We both work full-time, Ana as a psychologist and myself in carpentry. We think we're pretty clean and tidy--Ana tells me that she thinks I have an admirable level of OCD when it comes to cleaning :P We enjoy having a friend or two over to catch up over tea, cake, drinks and other delicious foods that we enjoy cooking up together. We think we're also fairly considerate of noise/ others, and try to be mindful of others when they're home. I often camp at the coast every other weekend. We're fairly flexible when it comes to socialising--we enjoy a bit of banter, enjoy the occasional D&M but also respect that sometimes, we all just need our own space. We come with furniture too, the usual bedroom gear for us, and also a couch, washing machine, potentially a fridge and a number of indoor plants. We're ideally looking for an abode around the Milton, Paddington, Bardon sort of locale or nearby areas. And, we're *especially* interested in one of these options: a) Splitting the cost of a decent sized house with 3-4 bedrooms four way with another couple, or a couple of friends :) Ana does a bit of home office from time to time, so she requires a study; b) Occupying a granny flat by ourselves. But are open to other ideas too :) Feel free to contact myself on 0488 959 559 if you're interested to meet to see if we might be a good fit.
