Hi, I'm an easy going active person but am a little bit past the party scene. I work full time although that is currently from home so I'm looking for somewhere where I have my own space. I have a beautiful RSPCA dog called Billie who is a retriever cross and I do wildlife rescue as a volunteer and rehabilitate orphaned wildlife as well which makes it a little bit hard to find a house that would be understanding of that. Anyway I'm in no rush to move, but am interested to see what is available out there.
I am fun, very friendly and easy going . I am tidy and clean up after myself, I also love to go outdoors, and I'm a very active person. I work in hospitality part time and coach gymnastics part time. my job is in Brisbane so id like to move to Brisbane to be closer to my job. I respect personal space but at the same time would love to have a friendly relationship with my roomates.
A little about myself, I'm pretty quiet and keep to myself but am always down for a chat. I am currently studying at QUT doing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) so my space can be a little cluttered sometimes. I play a lot of video games mainly on my Computer and watch a lot of TV. Pretty tidy and will clean up after myself in the shared living spaces. I have a 10 month old Staffyx who can be a bit of a handful at times but she is very loving and house trained. If she is going to be outside she needs a large fence.
Property details: - 3 bedroom (1 bedroom is occupied by myself, the 3rd is being used primarily as a home office) - 1 bathroom - Fully furnished apart from your bedroom (I can get a bed if you need one though) - Foxtel (essentially all channels apart from movies) and Unlimited ADSL2+ - Situated < 5 minutes' drive to the local shopping centre (Gap Village) - 5-10 minute walk to the terminal stop for the 385 bus which goes to the Cultural Centre via Roma Street station (~30 minutes to Roma during peak) - Lovely elderly neighbours either side, and no neighbours across the road (creek/bushland) - Minutes walk/ride to bushwalking and mountain bike trails, and 'beach' area at Enoggera Reservoir - Garage with automatic roller doors - Majority of screens are Crimsafe - Carpet in bedroom, living & lounge, slate tile throughout the rest - Aircon in living room - Bedroom for rent has ceiling fan and 2 built in robes - Front & back decks - Dishwasher - Best suited for animal lovers as the property is shared with 2 friendly (but hairy) dogs! The prospective housemate will need to complete a standard application form to be approved by the real estate agency & property owner. There are ~6 months left on the current lease (expires 4th September 2017). Currently undecided what I am doing from that point, leaning towards some more long-term travel, but if you wanted to stay on & real estate/owner happy then all good! Bond is $940, and weekly rent $250 including bills (Foxtel, internet, water and electricity). Please contact Dean for more info or a viewing!
Fantastic recently renovated 5 bedroom house in exceptionally quite cul-de-sac in The Gap. The whole downstairs floor of the house is SOLELY YOURS TO ENJOY! (the only exception is the brand new downstairs laundry which will be shared with one other flatmate being ME ... Tony, the owner of the house). Downstairs you will have the use of 2 adjacent newly built bedrooms which both have sliding door access straight out to the swimming pool. Both of these bedrooms have built-ins, are carpeted, and have ceiling fans. Ideal arrangement if you are seeking perhaps a study area (i.e. one bedroom to use as a bedroom and the identical room next to it to use as study space .... or anything you desire!). Both these bedrooms sit directly opposite the new bathroom (and toilet) which will be solely yours. The internal laundry is also located downstairs next to your bathroom. You will also have sole access/use of an extremely expansive carpeted rumpus room with views and access to the pool area via large glass sliding stacker doors. This rumpus space is newly built, massive, extremely comfortable and will function beautifully as your own private lounge/TV space. Undercover parking is also available and a massive covered upstairs deck furnished with couches and dining furniture is here to enjoy. The deck has sweeping views of the local hills and the pool and catches lovely cool breezes - amazing space to chill in. Additionally you have easy access (close proximity) to express and other buses to the city from Payne Road and Waterworks Road. Extremely clean, quite, funky, comfortable and relaxing environment!
This property is located in a secure lockup townhouse village. It has a tennis court and swimming pool on site. All bills are included in the rent. The room comes furnished with a bed and has its own ensuite with a shower, basin and toilet and there is internet access and netflix.
This place is a real little gem - close to the bush but not too far from the city. We are both friendly down to earth and open minded people - we like to chat but also respect each other's space. We are clean but not OCD clean. We are seeking a similar third housemate who might like to join us! The room available can be furnished or unfurnished. You will be sharing a bathroom with two others. All bills are included in the rent. Bus stop to the city is right next door. Heaps of bush land and walking/running trails close by. Spacious backyard. Chickens might lay you an egg for breakfast. Friendly dog - will consider allowing another dog to stay. You will be expected to take part in the weekly cleaning roster to keep the jobs fair and the place clean. Can be flexible with moving dates. The room is available from the 26th of March but if you need somewhere before that you can use the spare room.
Hey all! This is my room that i've been living in for the past 6 months and man i wish i could stay, but travel calls so i'm moving on. This is the best possible share house room you could have, basically a studio apartment with an ensuite in the downstairs of the house (as you can see in photos), my two room-mates have rooms upstairs and the living room and kitchen is also upstairs! Super private with a seperate entrance, really quiet, can fortunately never hear anyone upstairs :) Our home has a huge kitchen, dining area, lounge and a beautiful veranda looking out onto the bottom of Mt Coot-tha (theres gorgeous walking trails all around us). The area is lovely and quiet, surrounded by really nice neighbours :) The two muppets you see in the photo of the living room will come along with the house, Luke and Max. Unfortunately Luke isn't home to often, but you will often find Maxy asleep on the couch watching either 'That 70's Show!' or 'Community' - is very amusing. They are beautiful guys and very considerate house mates. Both very laid back, so we'll only accept people that they believe will fit our 'go with the flow' dynamic :) I don't officially leave Aus till May the 16th, so am very flexible on moving dates, would prefer to move out asap though (save them dollars before the trip) Thanks guys, hope to hear from you soon!

I'm currently a full-time student at Griffith University studying a double bachelor of arts and business. I am half Papua New Guinean/Australian and when I am not living in Brisbane I am living in Vanuatu. I work casually at Doughnut Time and am looking for a great group of people to share a house with. I have a fun outgoing personality and get along well with others. Very respectable of others space and privacy but know how to have a good time! I love to go out with my friends for day trips, drinks, dinners and I love experiencing new things. I love to socialise but definitely like my own space and down time aswell.
I am neat and respectful of others and their property. I am quiet, active, and always prepared to do my share and more about the place. I have a 15 mth old daughter who will be staying up to 2-4 nights per week most weeks. I run a lot and therefore wake early and often spend my days outdoors when possible.
I don't really know what to say here. I'm looking for a place that is close to work/ family. I would prefer to live with a female as I am still new to living out of home. I am rather shy at first but once you get to know to me I can be quite outgoing and bubbly. Though I am not very loud I will still try and make living with you an enjoyment. I am willing to try new things at times, I normally prefer to stick to a small group of friends but I am willing to be more outgoing at times. I love animals with all my heart and can live with anything from dogs to cats!
I'm a retired chef, and love to cook for my household (it makes food cheaper, I have two big dogs which is going to make this difficult, but they are great guard dogs and cuddly teddy-bears, I work from home quite a bit, but I'm very easy going, social and switch from OTT to quiet as a mouse. I don't smoke, as much as id prefer non-smoking house, with my dogs I can't be overly judgemental. I can drink, but I don't, well, few times a year for a worthy event. don't touch drugs, again don't care but i wont live a junkie, regular part-time pills. no respect for Harry or Meth smokers. Favourite festival "Soundwave" and "BDO (before Kayne)"... Just started my Masters of Philosophy with QUT at IHBI, so I have no time to be annoying, unless you make me, and i am happy to get as good as I give ;-) Must love music, good food and fine wine. for the record if its on nova or hits105 and under 20yrs old....its not good! JJJ has died so I only listen to 4ZZZ or crap I find online.
I'm a pretty easy going, friendly 25 year old working full time in real estate. I have rented/shared before and am very neat, tidy and considerate. I keep to myself but also don't mind the odd catch up with housemates. I am looking to move to be closer to work. I have a little cat called pepper who will be coming with me. She is very friendly and loves to play and have pats.
I'm jake i live at Sandgate and now work in the gap as a butcher and want to move closer, I drive and work 5 days a week paid weekly get back too me anyone lol dfw
I'm neat, aware of other people's space but still enjoy a casual chat. I have a gorgeous Toy Poodle who loves cuddles. I'm trying to escape a conflict situation. Pick me!
Laid back as a deck chair Irish Work 6 days a week so you wont see much of me Looking for a house with a bit of space I have a motorbike so need somewhere to securely keep her :) I also have a girlfriend who i would like to come over once or twice a week in the evenings, she is swedish and a great person. Ready to move anytime
I am very clean and quiet, I like quiet, calming activities when at home so would like to avoid party houses. My cat is very important to me so I would like to find a cat loving household. I am happy to socialise with housemates if we share similar interests :)
Hey potential roomies, I'm Dani and I'm on the hunt to find a place to rent as my current lease ends May this year Little bit about me • Have lived out of home and on my own for nearly a year now so you could say that I have this adulting thing down pat (almost) • Am a very friendly, open minded and easy-going person • Currently working part time in a chemist and studying on the job • Health conscious and working towards a healthier lifestyle • As much as I enjoy socialising, I am a hermit at heart and love my alone time • Avid Netflix watcher and closet nerd (Star Wars fan and Walking Dead obsessed) My ideal place • Has a relaxed and comfortable yet fun vibe • Is close to public transport (as I don't own a vehicle) • Is not far from the city (hello, city adventures and nights out) • Is kept clean and organised and is aesthetically pleasing Also - I have a wifi modem so am happy to split the bill for you to use it too for endless browsing and Netflix watching fun Would love to move in with likeminded people (preferably female/s) where we can hang out as a crew or come and go as we please as we'll be sharing a living space so it's important to me that we get along and respect each other. Looking forward to hearing from you ✌🏼
I am studying in the performing arts industry full-time and working part-time. I am an easy-going and reliable person who is looking to move out into a fun and welcoming share house. I am currently studying full-time along with a part-time job so I am pretty well occupied!
Hello, i am a 25 year old female looking for a room to rent. I also have a 2 year old sharpei x staffy named Winston, Winnie for short. I'm a dog person and I try to be healthy but the struggle is real because I love chicken nuggets.
I am a generally quiet and tidy person who does like their own personal space however, I am fairly easy to get along with once I get to know people. I am a third year university student and i have a job as a childcare worker. I'm not big on parties and large social gatherings so you will usually find me playing online games or watching movies.
