Hi! I'm Adele. I'm currently living on the Gold Coast but studying at UQ. Obviously that is quite the commute, so I would like to move up to Brisbane, but I want to have a look around the area first and see what I think. Therefore, I'm looking for somewhere short-term so I can get a feel for the area. I'm a very quiet person and I plan on spending most of my time studying, so I am not looking for a party-type sharehouse or anything of the like.
The Gap is a great suburb! Lots of bush walks, walk to shops and public transportation is good. Nine klms from CBD. AIr conditioned, queen bed, built in wardrobe, bbq. Wheelchair friendly bathroom and bedroom. Two bedrooms to choose from. Great back deck with beautiful views. We have a great coffee machine ; )
A large owner occupied home at the base of Mount-Cootha. It's a super quiet and private location at the end of a small no through road. The neighbours are great and the area simply awesome! Elevated position with great views from all rooms. Super high speed cable Internet, electricity and Netflix included in rent. Home is air conditioned. The room has built in wardrobes and a ceiling fan. There is an outdoor area with BBQ. There are numerous walking and bike paths that can get you to the city or if you prefer hiking or trail running, there are loads of trails real close too. Bus stops in the next street, shops are walking distance.
This is a gated property, very safe. It has 2x pools/ BBQ areas and a tennis court. There is air-con in each room and living room. There is a garage and visitors parking spaces. It is a very quiet community. And although it is on a main road you can not hear the traffic as the property is in the back of the complex. The bus stop to the city is right out the front on waterworks rd.
A large house with multiple lounges great modern kitchen views of Mt coo tha I have two double rooms for rent furnished there is also a guest room which will be made available for visitors (this room will not be rented out) the room has ceiling fan and cupboard there is a bathroom shared between the two rooms the main living area has A/C and Foxtel/netflix is connected, 800m to Indooroopilly/city bus,900m to UQ bus 850m to convenience store, cafe and doctors I would be open to a couple or single having one double room, private toilet/bathroom and use of the study for a student or business at a negotiated rate
Extra large room with own bathroom and undercover car space with mountain views in large resort style house with pool, on-site gym, wine cellar, pool room, cinema, 6bed, 5 bath. $275/w - less if you want to share a bathroom ($250). It's a very large house spread over 1600 square metres so plenty of space. Close to UQ university, Indooroopilly shopping town and public transport. Not really a party house. Looking for someone that considers their home a Santuary. It's a very peaceful and tranquil place to live with mature housemates in their early 30's that are respectful of privacy but also enjoy the occasional wine and cooking the odd meal together.
Beautiful renovated house at The Gap. Walk to shops, bus and all amenities. Air con, Internet and electricity included. Well behaved loving pets welcome. Property is fully fenced. Large room with lovely light. Can be furnished or unfurnished. Room is approx 5m x 3m I have my children with me 7 nights per fortnight. On the other nights I'm often out and about doing yoga or working. I'm looking for someone that is quiet, friendly, mature and easy to get along with. No parties. Ideally, room is suited to someone looking for a safe, happy family home. Pet friendly.
Looking for three housemates for a place in The Gap. Rent $170/week + $30 charged weekly which will cover extras including power, Foxtel and internet bills which will all be under my name. The place has two bathrooms and one kitchen to share between the four bedrooms. Male or female. The house is actually five bedrooms, i'm not keen on having more than four people in the house as I feel it would be a bit over crowded as such I'm not currently considering couples. Those living in the house are more than welcome to use the 5th bedroom for storage, wardrobe space, etc. There are two enclosed carports for use. There is plenty of room for storage in the house, is two storey and has a front and back balcony. Two of the bedrooms are pretty large, the other is average sized. House is in a good state – the floors are due to be polished week of 23rd of July and walls painted the following week. Move in date will be 5th of August however can discuss if you need to move in earlier/later – am happy to accommodate your movements so long as they are reasonable. The house is conveniently located 2 minutes walk from a bus stop heading into the city. Only 2 minutes drive from The Gap Village with a Coles & Aldi. Ample yard, no fences so dogs, cows and llamas are unfortunately not allowed…i am also allergic to cats. Birds, fish and other pets will be happily considered! Furniture/white good wise – I have a fridge, washing machine, couches, dining table, TV, dinnerware and most importantly - a ping pong table You won’t be expected to tend to the yard other than keep it free of rubbish, similarly with the house – just looking for clean housemates who will not run down the property and will give the house a tidy and vacuum every once in a while. Photos are not an accurate representation of the furniture or flooring upstairs. Happy to discuss which room you'd like - first in best dressed.

Hi, I'm Tamara. I'm 28 and have 2 mature, small lapdogs. Both are indoor dogs and fully house trained. I work shift work and study, both full time. I am also an introverted people person, and usually pretty busy and keep to myself. I am clean, courteous and respectful. I enjoy cooking, reading and exploring new places and have eclectic tastes in nearly everything. I like my privacy and space and respect other people's, although happy to be social and share common rooms and a meal... I have been told my cooking and baking skills are pretty good and I haven't killed anyone yet with it, so it can't be too bad. Haha. Clean, honest, respectful and always pay bills on time.
I keep to myself most of the time but am quite friendly and easy to get along with. I work full-time and also work on music in my downtime (as well as catching up with my boyfriend) so I'm constantly busy and probably spend only half the time any given week staying at home. I'm quite capable of cleaning up after myself and eager to help whenever possible with anything that needs to be done around the house. I am looking to move into a new place at the end of August ideally. Budget is max $220 per week including bills.
Hey! I'm Nicole! I'm a super out going, vibrant 23 year old that's always down for a hang and a drink or driving up a mountain or out to a forest. I absolutely love astrology and the universe and I probably know more conspiracy theories than you hahahahha. Im a clean person so you don't need to worry about that, I love all animals too so if you have a pet, they'll be loved! I'm looking to move out of my parents home and get life started properly!
Hi there, I’m an artist and seasoned traveller, and have lived in many homes around the world. I’m always mindful of other people’s property and their preferences for their home. I like to have a clean space and always pay rent on time. I don’t have any pets, and I want to rent an art studio too, so I’m taking that into consideration with my budget. I love leafy areas and having a quiet place to live. I’m also looking for somewhere for 6-12 months outside Brisbane, preferably Samford Valley area in a private cabin, cottage or granny flat in the bush. A shared property with plenty of acreage and separate accommodations would be great. I look forward to connecting with you, Nicci
Looking for a unique place to call home. I am 29, from North Queensland and run a garden maintenance business. I am returning to study in September and would like to find a place close to UQ campus in St Lucia. I'm easy going and open minded, respectful and enjoy spending time with others. Open to all walks of life and enjoy being culturally challanged. I can adult and keep tidy and clean up after myself and open to shared meals and beverages with housemates Part of my business involves compost building and ideally I'd like to find a place with a sunny backyard where I can continue to do this as well as establish vege gardens. I seek housemates who are ok with me running my business out of the backyard and are open sustainable living practises. My current lease doesn't end until September however I'd like to find a new home before then so I can focus on my studies but I am in no rush to move and would like to take the time to find a good house with great people to live with. Other things that interest me are music, movies, reading, camping, cheese and crackers 😀 If you think we will enjoy living together feel free to send me a message or give me a call anytime.
Hey I’m Bianca! I’m easy going, clean, friendly, social and respectful. I work full time as a Human Resources Officer in Brisbane CBD and have been renting for the last 3 years. I am looking for a housemate to move into a townhouse on the north side of Brisbane. Im looking for someone who is fun, tidy, likes to hang out and can have a good laugh over a cheeseboard and some wine. I also have a 6 month old kitten who is very affectionate and loves a cuddle.
I enjoy having a healthy balance of alone time and social time, I can give you privacy as well as having great conversation. I currently work as an Assistant Manager at Subway and enjoy playing video games.
I’m Taylor and my dog, Max, and I are looking for somewhere to live. Max is a 6 year old Labrador who is an inside dog unless I am out. We are looking to move out in Brisbane - any suburb near(ish) the CBD is ideal as that is where I live. It’s essential that my roommate is an animal lover and potentially wouldn’t mind feeding max if I was late getting home or letting him in when they’re home. A bit about me: I love rugby league (watching it and going to games) and other than that just love to enjoy company of friends and chill. It would be nice to enjoy my housemates company but alone time is also nice.
Hi there! I'm an easy going, friendly, considerate person that gets along with anyone. I'm just as happy quietly chilling out by myself as I am interacting and getting to know people. I've had my own place and have shared as well so know what it takes be a great house mate. I'm looking for a share place with not too many people because I'm not 19 anymore! Preferably no crazy parties on school nights but there are always special occasions, and I do enjoy a few wines at the end of a long day. I have an awesome cat, Meow, who is fully house trained, very self content, loves meeting new people but isn't in your face. She comes and goes as she feels like it so no worries about leaving doors open etc. I usually stay pretty quiet during the week but Id love to get out and explore Brisbane/QLD more on the weekends. I don't really have a preferred location but around the city or just north is preferred. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and possibly sharing some new adventures!
Hello, my name is Julia. I am a 19 year old student who is about to start studying vet nursing. I am a clean person and easy to talk to. I love going for drives and adventures but am also a fan of staying in and watching movies all day. I am from Cairns and have lived there for 18 years of my life but was originally born in Japan as I am half Japanese.
