Hi everyone! So I'll start of with the things that make me a great housemate - I'm really laid back, enjoy a chat and a laugh, and enjoy being social when at home (I'm not the kind of person who'll hide in my room!) I am currently completing post graduate study full time (Psychology, at UWA), and working part time as a relief teacher (Secondary Science). I'm not much of a party animal any more, so I'm not the kind of gal who's going to be hosting rowdy parties or coming home at 4am in the morning and waking you up. These days I spend most of my time studying, working, and catching up with friends when time permits. Now the not so good stuff - I'm a clean freak. Not quite 'Monica' from Friends level, but pretty close. Yes, this makes me an ideal housemate in that I'm super tidy and clean up after myself, but it means I need to live with like minded housemates. If you don't think wiping down the kitchen bench after you've finished in the kitchen is is a must every time, then we're probably not going to get along too well! I am in no hurry to move, I am looking for the right place with the right flatmates that I can call home for at least the next year or two. I'd also be interested in teaming up with the right person/people and renting something together. Cheers, Jo.

Updated home with freshly repainted kitchen bathroom and laundry. New plumbing/ drains shower hoses and the home is kept in good order. Close family member of the owner lives in the home. Ideal for those that have traveled to Perth with minimal home set up. No expensive purchases needed to set up home. 2 minutes walk from the heart of the Mt Lawley cafe strip and the high frequency 950 bus service to the city through Northbridge and then UWA. Close to Edith Cowan Uni and WAAPA. Live without a car. A few minutes walk to IGA supermarket, chemist GP pub ( named Flying Scotsman) fashion retail outlets and cafes gym. Comes with sheets, blankets, towels and the use of kitchen equipment and utensils. There is dedicated cupboard and fridge space. New 10kg washing machine for use. Dead bolts or security screening fitted to all doors and windows. Large block of land. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. The home is kept very clean by the ladies that live here. Two weeks notice of leaving is needed. So that the room may be advertised properly, please. Please message on Flatmates rather than the phone the mobile.
My name's Ben, I'm 25 and I'm a geoscientist working full time in West Perth. Arrived in Perth a couple of months ago from Melbourne, loving it so far. My current place is fine but I would ideally like to maybe find a place that is potentially a little cheaper. I must give a month's notice for my current place, and if that works for you that'd be great! A little about me: I'm easy to get along with, pretty chilled, not looking for anywhere that parties too much, but also don't wanna live in a place where no one talks to one another and spends 99% of their time in their rooms. I am well house trained, been living in share houses for about 6+ years now. I clean up after myself, am respectful of other people's personal space and such. I'm Half Kiwi, Half british, so my accent is a little confusing to some. I'm a former ski instructor, avid SCUBA diver and part-time cyclist. I occasionally dabble in rebuilding old motorcycles and scooters if funds allow it! Message me back if you feel like I'd be a good fit in your share house! I'm free whenever for viewings during the evenings or on weekends. Bonus flat mate points: I can teach you to ski if you ever happen to need to learn how to ski. Can make pasta from scratch. Have a scooter and can pick up food we order in a flash! Haha. Cheers and looking forward to hearing from you soon. Ben
One absolutely huge bedroom available for rent in a lovely character home right in the center of Mt Lawley. The house in a great location- only 200m from beaufort st, so plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants right at your doorstep and only a 5 minute drive to the city. The house is huge so no one ever gets in each others space and you will be sharing a bathroom with just 1 housemate. Aircon in the living room If youre interested send me a message to arrange a viewing time 😎 **Furniture in the room can be sold for a reasonable price if desired
Both looking to move to Perth, for work purposes. We are Tidy, respectful, friendly, polite, love animals. Just genuinely nice sisters :) we are looking for 2 separate rooms, preferably in the same house. Or a whole place to rent. We will be looking to move in on the 5th aug, as thats when my sisters flight arrives and mine follows closely on the 8th.
Hi! I'm Annie, I'm 22. Im super self contained having lived out of home now for five years with plenty of references who can vouch for my positive vibes and super chill demeanour. I work for an IT company full-time but also am studying journalism on the side cos your girls got goals. It means im usually at work or studying and when im not doing those things im usually checking out live music. I also sometimes can be seen away from the beach. My current roommate is moving over to Europe to work on the super yachts and alas, between work and study i'll be staying behind. Could not live in a home without internet. I'm only really looking for a 6 month term as I'm heading to the East Coast at the end of the year.
Hi, I am Dave, working full time in Mental Health sector, non-smoker, not a party person, I don't mind pets in the house. I like to cook my meals and keep things clean n tidy, don't bring in random people in the house or invite friends.
I am an American PhD student in Archaeology studying at the University of Western Australia. I am coming back to Perth after a 2 year stay in Germany to finish my PhD, so I will be working quite a lot during my stay. I'd prefer somewhere quiet but in a nice neighborhood where it is easy to get around as I will not have a car. I'm open to live with both men and women but please no crazy party houses. That being said, I do enjoy a beer or glass of wine while watching a movie or evening chat and I sometimes go out on the weekends but I prefer to have a clean and comfortable place to live. I enjoy cooking and wouldn't mind setting up a share-dinner thing, I also like gardening, yoga, movies, going to live music events, board games, wine-tasting, and meeting new people. I'm generally easy going and communicative with my flatmates. I don't need the house to be sparkling clean every day but I like to keep things tidy and maybe do a deeper clean on the weekends. At the end of the day, I would just like a nice, please, friendly place to live with nice drama-free people. I should add that at some point my partner might come and stay with me for an extended period (ca. 1 month), since I will be away for ca. 6 months in Perth. We are happy to pay more rent if that is required. He is also an archaeologist and is from Norway. We are pretty similar (he prefers a clean place, semi-quiet but definitely not anti-social), I think your only issue might be that we're nerds and will talk about our joint profession a lot. That being said, if you want to learn more about archaeology, look no further!
Hey! I'm actually a complete newbie to this sharehouse thing.. 5 years of study interrupted by gallivanting South America and Eastern Africa definitely set the finances back....but now employed full time and ready to get a move on. Will need quite a large room with at the least a double BIR....I have an obscene amount of clothes! Looking at no more than $170 per week.. Always happy to chat, but do like my own down time as well. I studied environmental management and sustainability science, and now work with a non profit organisation....so a little bit of a hippie... I love animals and am respectful of other people's space and things....unless you have a pet, then I will need lots of cuddles from said pet please. Open to other suburbs but want to remain NOR. Within 15mins drive of East Perth is preferable, or at least close to Alexander drive! :) Just waiting for the right place to pop up :)
Please note the address placed in this add is incorrect. The home is located within a sought after suburb of Mount Lawley. Close to the main stretch of Beaufort street where cafes and restaurants are located (about 10 mins by walking). There is a bus stop just outside which will take you into the city/northbridge within 5-10 mins. Alternatively you could be at the nearest train station within 7 mins by walking. The home has been nicely furnished to a standard where you’d feel comfortable and homely. More details of exact location will be given through private messaging for any interested potential flat mates :)
2 gals and a guy looking for a fourth person to join our rad house! 4x1.5 large renovated character home in the heart of Mount Lawley with a pool and outdoor entertaining area for all the summer fun☀️ We’re 200m from Beaufort street and a short walk to Hyde Park. The room has a beautiful fireplace, aircon and lots of natural light. $215 per week + bills Available from July 6
Hey guys, LOOKING TO START A SHAREHOUSE / TEAM UPS Im currently looking to rent a 4 bedroom house around the surronding suburbs of Perth. Im thinking around Vic Park, Kensington North & South Perth, Mt Lawley area to give you an idea but am open to other suggestions depending on what people are looking for. Im just seeing whose currently looking for a room to rent in the next few weeks or somebody who wants to look for a house together. I havent got a house just yet but it would be nice to have some like minded people to move in when I do find it. Abit about myself.....My names Scott, i'm 31 and originally from England. I moved to Perth last year from Melboune to open up my sales company and things couldnt have gone better. Im very well travelled, sociable, laid back and down to earth. Im currently looking for like minded people to move into my house with me. Im out most of the day but I enjoy a chat when im home in the evenings and a beer at the weekend. Im looking for people who are sociable and enjoy each others company. Id like this to be more of a socialble house rather than everyone just staying in their rooms! If you think you would be a good fit please send me an email with a bit of a description of yourself and we can take it from there!! Looking forward to hearing from you soon.....
I'm a clean, courteous 34 year old man who loves a good laugh. I'm reliable, I always pay my bills on time, I'm a non smoker and I have no pets. I have a keen interest in the arts, I produce my own visual art (mostly cartoons) and I love going down to luna and checking out a movie. As I am single I still head out on the odd occasion but I'm not a massive drinker, just a beer or a glass of wine over dinner or if an occasion calls for it, a few more. I enjoy relaxing in the evenings, sitting on a verandah or somewhere with a cool breeze. I welcome all types of people, and always look for the good in a person. I work as a retail manager of an arts and crafts store which I enjoy.
Hey, I’m a 28 year old professional who works full time in the city. I kayak and don’t mind watching a comedy, which at times are one and the same. I’m a clean and tidy housemate who enjoys a bit of banter.
I'm a uni graduate with a film degree currently working for Perth Racing. I'm a clean and easy going guy who likes hanging out with friends, going to gigs and catching movies. I like my own space but equally love having a chat over a few beers.
Hi! im Sia , im 19 super chill an down to earth . I like my own personal space, yet i also love to socialise and meet new people. Im a bit of a clean freak, im always cleaning. I like to cook, and turn up in my own time, i smoke when i drink. Im a bit of a party animal but id prefer to do the partying outside of home. I like to have quite time when im not with friends. Im not a heavy smoker although i do smoke when i want. Im currently working part time, which is going to change to full time in less than a month. i live too far from where i work, so im looking for something close to the city area. Im from newzealand just moved to perth october 2016, dont know many people yet, hoping to make some new friends along the way (: looking for a spacious double room with its own bathroom if possible . My bugget says 300 but I'd be willing . I'd rather share with just one other person/couple but I’m not all that fussy. Also let me know if you are interested in teaming up to get an apartment in the city!!(:
My place is a homely apartment in the heart of Mount Lawley. It's 5 minutes walk down to some great cafes, bars and restaurants but with lovely houses and leafy streets it is also a calm and relaxing place to live. The apartment is in a small, quiet block with friendly neighbours and a nice vibe. - Balcony views over the treetops and down to the Swan River beyond. - Light and airy space with flexible furnishing options (i.e. not currently furnished but I can do this if it suits my new housemate). - Located between the train line and Beaufort Street, there's easy public transport connections. A bus to UWA stops just down the road and it's walking distance to ECU. - Unlimited internet, air conditioning, netflix and well equipped kitchen.
