Hey ! (^_^) I am Sumedha (Sky), a postgraduate student at UQ in Brisbane. I will be staying in Perth for three months during the summer break (December- Mid February). I am looking for a fully furnished room to rent near UWA campus (*maybe Crawley or Nedlands ?), affordable for a student, walking distance preferred. I am a friendly person, fun to live with and I respect other’s personal space. Much love !
This place is perfect for students! Just off Hampden Road in Nedlands which is a great location: walking distance from UWA, QE2, OHCWA and bus stop 10mins from the city. Reverse cycle air-con in the room, walk in wardrobe, heaps of space for bed, table and dresser.
I am a support worker for disabled people, basically i help them do things they can't or have difficulty doing themselves, its my job to help them do everything they want to despite their disability this involves thing like driving them to social events or helping into a wheelchair, helping to cook and many more depending on th client. I am currently in training for a certificate 3 in individual support (disability) which will hopefully lead to more shifts/money while I do my Masters, hopefully in Social work next semester. I have an adorable male Labradoodle who is cream coloured, neutered, very friendly, house trained and has a pretty laid back personality when it comes to barking. I like to watch sci fi/fantasy/action movies and TV shows, have watched all the marvel and DC movies and intend to keep doing so. Walking my dog and riding my bike is my main form of exercise, when I can afford it I like to go to a gym and do fitness classes, I have a xbox i play when not doing homework, I have headphone so i don't disturb anyone and my own TV. I like food that takes half a hour or less to cook, delivered is even better. My favourite pizza is Hawaiian and meat lovers, favourite type of food is Italian most of my social activities involve something geekish, like board games, cards against humanity, RPG's. I moved here from Albany a few months ago and after getting used to traffic and working out public transport have I like it, fast internet is awesome and so is all the shops being open till 9pm and Uber eats. I am looking for someone and where I can stay in with my dog, an accessible enclosed outdoor area would be preferred but morning and afternoon walks should be sufficient if not. Not troubled by gender, sexual orientation, religion, culture or any of that jazz, another student would be cool but not necessary.

Hey! So i’m from the UK, work full time Mon-Fri, i'm very clean and tidy, I’m laid back, like to have a bit of banter, like to socialise but also like my own down time. I like getting outdoors, trying new things and also girls nights in with wine and food or a good movie! I have a 3.5 year old cocker spaniel girl who’s very well behaved, barely sheds fur and will cuddle right up to you given the opportunity! That being said i'll be looking for a place with a secure outdoor area. I’m looking for one other to share a house with, a Fifo housemate would be great otherwise I’d like to share with someone who’s similar to all I’ve said above! I would prefer my own bathroom but happy share if you like things clean! If i'm entering in to a house share then it would be good to sign up to 6 months to start then if everyone’s happy I’d extend the stay long term, otherwise if we were going in to a team up i'd be cool signing up for 12 months for stability!
I'm 20 year old Polish girl and I've come all the way to Australia to explore, enjoy and live in this full of surprises country. I enjoy a cup of coffee every morning, long walks during sunset and adventurous trips. I love spending time with friends on trying delicious food. I'm easy-going, friendly and tidy type of person who respect others and like to be respected.
THE ROOM: The bedroom is small-to-medium sized. Furnishings include a single or double bed (your choice), side-table, TV and a desk (any furniture can be removed if you have your own). We also have spare furniture if you wish to use it. A storage attic and garage is available if required. THE HOUSE: While the house looks reasonable from the front it is A LOT nicer inside. The interior is set in an art-deco style with tall ceilings, large living spaces, carpets and polished floor-boards, air-con and gas. We have a large lounge room, large kitchen, large bathroom, 3 bedrooms (2 large bedrooms with adjoining studies), 2 toilets (you have your own), gym, balcony, garage and a storage attic. Each of us have our own large living areas so personal space and privacy is easy to attain. As we're busy with work and study often you will have the house to yourself. We have all the usual kitchen accessories (feel free to use them) or you can add your own. There is a balcony overlooking Stirling Hwy with a BBQ which we occasionally use for drinks or entertaining. The house is well situated at 55 Stirling Hwy between UWA and the Captain Stirling (Cap S). Beside the Captain Stirling you will find the supermarket, bakery, food court, post office, chemist, and doctor. All are only a 6-minute walk from the house. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants on Broadway/Hampton Rd. If you have a car both off-street and driveway parking is available. The bus stop is a 30-second walk away (City-Fremantle line, 10-mins to city, 5-mins to Cott, 15-mins to Freo). There are a couple of small units that are adjoined to the building which are occupied by both professionals and students, but our house is the main property and is almost three-times the size of the units (two story building, we occupy the top floor). Our neighbors are quiet and friendly. Locks are all in working order so security is not a problem. Rent inspections are every 4-6 months. We have a good relationship with both the owner and real estate agent. Bills are included, usually around $20 p/m ($15 for electricity, $20 for gas and $24 for the NBN internet, split 3-ways). All-in-all, the house is relaxed and settled (not a uni-party house). We are fine with friends visiting and gatherings. When any of us have friends visit we leave each other alone unless we're invited to join. The house is available to view all-day Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and weekends, and after 5pm other days. If you’d like to see the house please call, email or message us to make a time. Steve and Vick.
