Hi, My name is Marissa and my partner Matt and I are looking at moving in together from mid-August. We both currently live in separate share houses. We are looking at the possibility of renting a three-bedroom house and sharing with another person. We are looking for a person who may be interested in sharing with us and becoming a future flatmate and hopefully friends. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Communication at the University of Newcastle and am in my fourth year at university. I work part-time as a youth support worker in Out of Home Care. I enjoy living an active lifestyle, am outgoing and make friends easily. I'm a hard worker and like to keep myself busy. I go to the gym four times a week and enjoy the beach and visiting my parents on the Central Coast and in Sydney when I have free weekends as well as camping. I enjoy reading and watching movies and will be in Europe from mid-June to mid-August this year travelling. I've lived out of home since starting university, spending two years on college and the last 18 months in a share house with friends. I'd love a workout or study buddy, I'm very close friends with my current housemate! Matt works full time as a fence installer; his hours are between 5:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday so he is not home much during the week. Whilst he is up early he is extremely quiet and rarely hear him leave. He is currently also living in a share house. On weekends he enjoys motorbike riding, fishing and a quiet beer or two. We are a laid back couple who rarely argue and get along well with each other as well as everyone else. We have our own friends outside our relationship and don't mind doing our own thing. Whilst a couple we have different interests and aren't joined at the hip. We don't go out a lot other than for the occasional dinner. It wouldn't be a party house but we wouldn't mind having friends around for a BBQ or dinner and a few drinks. We are both mature, clean and courteous and looking for someone who is similar. I'm easy to live but do admit to being a tad of a clean freak. I would rather let you know now so it doesn't create conflict in the future! As well as someone who cleans up after themselves we'd be also looking for a person who is willing to participate in general cleaning of the house on a regular basis to keep things clean, tidy and hygienic. This would include basics such as cleaning of bathrooms, mopping, dusting and vacuuming of other common areas etc. We'd each be responsible for our own rooms. Matt is a keen gardener and mower so it's unlikely we'd have to worry about outside. In the share house I live in we currently have a roster but happy to discuss different options. It would be the perfect place for someone studying or working fulltime who has possibly lived out of home before, wants to be social and likes some company but also to do their own thing. We'd like someone with a steady job or secure means to pay rent and bills. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in please contact us! I'd be looking to set one of the rooms up as a study/guest room so we are happy to split whatever the rent is three ways. Matt goes to bed early due to work and I often either finish work late or study late so will need a separate space. Matt and I both have savings and a stable income to purchase furniture and appliances so you'd only have to worry about furnishing your own room. Bills would additionally be split three ways - we'd like someone who is conscious when it comes to electricity as nobody likes seeing money wasted. Our max budget for a house overall would be an approx $510 - $170 each. We would prefer no pets not because we don't like animals but it makes finding a rental extremely difficult. We're happy to provide references of what we are like to live with! If this sounds like something you may be interested in please contact us to discuss further the possibility further! We know it's early but wanted to explore different options before making a decision!

Hi hey! My name's Caitlin, I'm 22, I work in a cafe called Bonta Vera (vegan cafe in Minmi). I'm also a freelance photographer and videographer in my spare time. I'm vegan, and stay pretty active, mostly going rock climbing both indoor (at the Pulse Adamstown gym) and outdoor on weekends. I keep to myself quite often when home but I can be social at times so always willing to have some nice chats and stuff. I have a 1 year old indoor only ginger cat named Ash who is veeeeerrryy affectionate so he will shower you with love and cuddles once he gets to know you. I have Netflix that I'm more than happy to share, I'm eco-concious around the house so recycling is a must, and I'm very very clean and like to keep the house organised so that it feels nice to come home to less mess. Looking for other people to team up with to find a place together or the right room available within my price range! Hope to get in touch! Looking for a pet friendly place please. I cannot part with my pet cat. If for some reason you can't reach me through this website :)
Hi! I'm a 29 year old phd student from Romania. I' ve been in Australia for a little less than two years. I'm warm and social (except in the morning before i have my coffee). I love having chats on any topic (philosophy, trump, the best dishwasher soap... you name it), being goofy, occasional dinner parties, going to the beach, dancing salsa, traveling and of course banter. We can't be friends unless we can call each other c*** and a**hole. I'm a huge movie buff and a pretentious jazz listener. On top of my research scholarship, I work as an academic staff member at UoN and a few other small part time jobs. I'm looking for a nice place relatively close to the university of newcastle, callaghan campus, to share with a few fun, social, clean people. Hope to meet you soon! Thanks Cheers Andrei

My name is Sarah and I’m looking for a lovely place to live where everyone gets along and we all have a great time 😊 I study a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design at UON and have just moved off college. I originally come from a small country town in North West NSW, so I’m a country girl at heart 👩🏽🌾 I'm looking to live with like minded people who preferably are health conscious, enjoy yoga/exercise/gym, nice walks along the beach, casual brekky dates or cooking for one another, hanging out together, or occasionally going out if there comes the chance. I’m also very respectful of others space and privacy, as well as having that alone time for myself as well 🙃 I’m not the party type of girl, I don’t go out often and if I do it’s for casual cocktails with a couple of friends. I’m also a super clean freak, so I like to keep things looking nice, organised and fresh! ✨ So yeah, if you’d like to catch up for a chat or a coffee please get in contact with me! I would love to hear from you- especially if you feel like I’d fit into your lovely home 🙂

Hey I'm Billy. I'm a full time demo worker, I'm a fun and easy going person that doesn't mind a social drink on the weekend with friends. But am also happy to chill out and watch a movie or two. I also like to keep a tidy house and respect others privacy. I also love to cook.
Hello, I'm 20 years old studying Business/Commerce at University. I'm friendly and social and enjoy hanging out with friends and going to the beach. I'm a clean and tidy person that respects other people's space. Looking to share a house with friendly like minded people.
I'm a classical pianist and piano teacher, working on Sydney's north shore. I have a cat, not a lot of furniture (I'm a regular purger of 'stuff'), and two motorbikes I'd want to keep off-street. Fairly quiet, (except for playing the piano), I prefer books and the garden and outdoor activity to being indoors watching TV. I don't watch commercial TV (hate ads), nor listen to commercial radio, but will happily binge a good show on Netflix, or listen to ABC radio or music while about the house. Currently I'm also applying for places to rent on my own, into which I'd bring a flatmate, and am also aiming to get into the investment property market.
hello! i’m currently looking into moving out to newcastle for work, and am looking for some fun, like-minded people to live with. i enjoy going to concerts/festivals, travelling, having a good chat (& a sneaky drink or two). feel free to message me, looking forward to teaming up with some fun people! :)
Another novocastrian returning after spending a few years in Sydney. Good at cleaning up after myself, always pay my rent on time, fairly quiet and easy going but always happy to have a chat over a beer or cuppa - gin and tonic is my weapon of choice. Not adverse to communal activities but don't mind flying solo. Bit of a geek so you will most often find me gaming or reading in my spare time. I also have a small dog (jack russell - 12yo) Max who is pretty chilled, rarely barks, fully house trained and loves a snack, cuddle or wrestle. If you think I sound like a suitable candidate for your household please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm also more than happy to provide references. Happy hunting!
I have recently moved to Newcastle 5 days ago and moved to Aus a week prior to that (obviously didn’t think accomodation was a priority prior to moving to the other side of the world- from the UK). Aside from an annoying british accent and a dry sense of humour I am also a trainee doctor working in the ER- so emergency medical care on tap. Which comes with the added benefits of random shift patterns, so you won’t have to deal with my face too much. I am also pretty clean and not socially awkward if that helps!
