Hi, I'm Eliza, I'm from the Coffs Coast and I'm a history major at Newcastle uni. I love to read and listen to music and I have a little pomeranian chihuahua named Burgie that I'm hoping to be able to bring with me to live in Newcastle. I'm looking for a quiet, non-party place that's pet friendly.
Hello Everyone! *IMPORTANT FOR TEAMUPS: I have found a really nice place in Rankin Park with 3 rooms. It has AC in each bedroom, 3 bathrooms and it is very new. This place looks amazing so I don't think it will be available for long so please contact me ASAP so we can lock this place in. UPDATE: I viewed the place today and it looks really nice. The air conditioning goes downstairs too so this place is going to be great for summer and it is literally brand new so whoever moves in will be the first tenants in this place (it also has a really cool bath if that's your thing)* I am an electronic engineering student at UON who needs a new place as my current housemates are moving out of this place when the lease ends in early December (I am sub-letting from them). I'm fun and up to talk but also like my space and privacy so can respect others. I like being clean and organised and believe that if a household stays on top of chores and the boring stuff then it makes it easier in the long run. In saying that, I am easy-going and know that sometimes life gets crazy so I wont threaten a housemate if dishes are left in the sink one time. I can move whenever between now and when I get kicked out. Contact me if you want to meet up for coffee or a bite or just a chat
Looking for a place that allows me to get a cat (my current place doesn't)! I'm pretty quiet and am neat in the common area. I wash my plates and dishes immediately, and promise to not leave a mess! I'm currently studying medicine, so I'll probably be busy and all, but won't mind hanging out and watch a movie and stuff!
I’m a 4th year medical student on placement at the John Hunter hospital - I’m looking for a friendly and clean housemate who’s happy to be separate when we’re busy but also enjoys a bit of fun! I have family in Sydney so go back most weekends.
!!EDIT: Please contact me ASAP if you are interested in teaming up (especially if you are a nerd too!)! Have a group interested!! Hi, my name is Madeline and I am 21 year old student studying a English degree at the University of Newcastle. I am currently living on campus, but I'm from Killarney Vale on the central coast. I'm a bit of a nerd, and love video games, dungeons and dragons and other nerdy adventures. When I'm not studying or working, I'm usually playing video games, writing and going to the movies. I'm a clean and considerate person, and like having a tidy space to live in. I love to get to know other people, but understand when people need their own space. I am currently working on a casual basis at Woolworths, but will be starting a full-time early education traineeship starting in January 2019. I am also receiving max rates for centerlink benefits so payment would be no issue. I would love flatmates who enjoy being social with one another, but also understand when I need some time to myself. I love pets, and would have no issue whatsoever with living with pets. I would prefer to live in a house that doesn't engage in weekly parties, but I do occasionally like get-togethers and a big party. Please do not hesitate to contact me so we can chat and meet up! I'm also interested in team ups so just let me know.
I’ve just been offered a full time position working in Newcastle 2019 and I’m looking for a place to live for a minimum of 12 months or so. I’m friendly and clean and would love to have a good chat if you’re up for it. I also like my own space at times and respect others space and property. I’m super into sports and exercise and love the outdoors so if you’re ever up for a walk or something I’m your girl! Always on top of my bills and my schedule but I’m no uptight square head either. Can’t wait to see what Newcastle has to offer 😀
We are looking for a cool new member to join our household in New Lambton. (Close to bus stops, John Hunter Hospital, Regent Street and Elder Street shops. The University of Newcastle is a 5 min drive away.) We’ve got a bedroom up for grabs at $105 per week (including internet). The bedroom has giant built in wardrobe and drawers, and can easily fit in a double or queen bed, with an amazing view overlooking Newcastle that's great to wake up to each morning. We evenly split electricity and water which is pretty affordable as we’re quite good with turning off switches. Our bathroom also has a separate bath to the shower so if you love Lush as much as us, its perfect. Despite our big backyard we aren’t allowed pets.👎🏻 But you’re more than welcome to play with the veggie patches. The kitchen is a good size - with plenty of bench and storage space. If you’re looking for a place where you can come home and just wind down than I believe we’re perfect for you. Everyone here is super chill. We respect our own space but love getting together to chat over a cuppa or wine. Having friends or guests over isn't an issue, just give us a heads up first if possible :) You’re more than welcome to meet us and see the place. I'm moving out and the place will be available from the 15th of Jan. Bond must be paid upfront, at a total of $625 and your name will be put on our current lease.
Hello to all the wonderful people looking for a house. So 2 friends, my dog and I are about to move into a lovely house in New Lambton and we are searching for a 4th housemate to fill one of the rooms and add to what is already going to be a great house. The Place - The house is 3 mins drive and 6 mind cycle from the John Hunter Hospital. It is in a lovely leafy area and has a great old feel to it despite being very recently refurbished. From a great patio, great wooden countertop, victorian individually patterned tiled bathrooms and 3 lovely communal spaces you can't go wrong. Hamzah and myself are intent on filling it with plants and Regan will be setting up a good home network for movie nights and the like. Some of the photos of the place are stock photos as we are just moving in. The room available is featured in the photos without any furniture and is 'bedroom 4' on the layout. It has shelving and a build in wardrobe. The Specifics - the house has 4 bedrooms, 1 study, 1 lounge, 1 dining area, 1 patio, a very green surrounding garden, 2 bathrooms, and a 2 space car garage with oodles or storage space. We will split the cost of rooms unevenly, depending on the relative quality of the rooms, and the cost of utilities evenly. There will be a slightly higher rent of $200 in the first month and a half and then it will go down to $175.
Just looking for a place around Newy over summer 'til uni goes back and I move back onto college mid-February. Working full time through the weeks all summer and travelling weekends in December. Love animals, football (soccer) and music, and enjoy playing games of any kind. Pretty sociable guy, like to keep things clean and tidy and I'm used to living in shared spaces.
I’m quiet, down to earth, up for a chat over some tea or a green smoothie, and like my own space from time to time. I work full time during the week and usually spend the weekend out exploring, crafting, binge watching Netflix or cooking.
Super easy going gal who loves to have a laugh and share memes. I work full time through the day and teach pole dancing a few nights a week. Respectful of people’s space and love to have a wine + cheese over a movie some night :)
21 years old, I have recently become straight edge (no smoking or drugs, occasional drinker since the 1st of Nov) for my own health and fitness goals, I love the gym and play multiple instruments with my main being guitar. Looking to move asap as I am sick of living with too many people at any given time in a halfway home setup, where people do not know how to clean up after themselves or manage their finances effectively (I am a tenant here with 4 other housemates and 2 couch surfers). I am a cleaner at Coles so you can expect me to leave no mess and have the place spotless. You can also expect that I will keep to myself mostly, like I'm not even there, unless you're after more of a social household, I'm flexible on that front. That said, I have strong communication skills and am a very upfront person, so I talk about things that are on my mind so that everyone understands how I feel about stuff, good or bad. I'm happy to make friends if there are common interests, have no problem if there aren't. End of the day I'm just after a quieter household with more responsible people. Cheers!
Hi. I am looking for a quiet place to spend my time while not at work in a busy cafe or at TAFE. I am studying Conservation & Land Management with a view to further studies at Newcastle University. Having already completed an Ad Dip in Fine Art I spend a fair bit of my home time drawing/creating, but also enjoy reading, cycling, crosswords and a decent cup of coffee. I don't smoke or drink and am chasing a nice comfortable lifestyle in a calm household. I keep my own spaces tidy and tight and have a healthy amount of respect for personal space and keeping communal areas clean for everyone else. Though I'm a bit quiet and unintrusive by nature, I have an open attitude to others' more outgoing activities and don't mind a bit of loudness around me. Looking for people that accommodate and respect likewise.
Very chill guy and easy to get along with. I currently work part time and study. I'm tidy and never miss rent payment.
I'm an easy going guy who gets along with most people I work a lot and have a beautiful n trained dog called Molly who is 5 years old that loves other dogs and people
Love cooking and always clean up after myself. I work long hours and like to stay active healthy and social so I’m not home often. However I do love a cold beer and family dinners. I require storage tho for all my hobbies. I’m willing to pay up to 230 if it’s a awesome place but would prefer a bit cheaper
Hello! Our names are Tim and Emily, we are both currently studying to become teachers whilst working part time. We both enjoy anything outdoors such as walks/adventures as well as a drink or two and some days out. Rainy days aren’t the worst with board games, Netflix being there as well as just relaxing around the house most likely doing uni work when needed. We are looking for a couple or individuals to move in with or find a place with to obviously help make it a bit cheaper on everyone. We are neat and tidy and more than happy to have a share of the house work as well respecting others privacy as we do appreciate ours. If you are keen to talk about things or are interested in our ad then please feel free to message me.
Easy going nature, with great sense of humour. Always clean up after myself. I mainly keep to myself but always up for a social beer or two over a movie or when the occasion calls for it. Always available to help out when someone needs a hand.
I'm 25 and work part-time in retail, a lot of my other time is spent out of the house as I volunteer at a few different art galleries around town. I'm a pretty tidy person and tend to keep to myself to be honest so just looking for a chill house with some easy going housemates. Feel free to message me any other questions you want to suss me out :D
Hi there I am traveling over from England, I'm here to see my girlfriend who lives already in the Newcastle area, I like meeting people and and enjoy sports but also massively into films as well, I'm quite clean and neat so that it's easier for everyone, :) Also I have been house sitting for the 2 months that I have been in Australia so am used to having rules to adhere to, Mainly I'm just easy going and am quite happy to learn new things about people, I have met some amazing people here so far so look forward to meeting some more
Hey I’m jenna, I like to keep things clean and tidy, don’t mind a few weekend bevos but also like my own space. Not after a party house! I’m working full time and enjoy just relaxing on the weekends :)
My name is Claudia, I am from Newcastle and work part-time at a restaurant in Kotara. I work 5-6 days a week and when I am not working I enjoy relaxing at home or spending time with family and friends. I am sociable but definitely enjoy my downtime. I am tidy, respectful and quiet but also know how to have a good time. I will be studying early next year at the University of Newcastle. I am looking for a functional, clean and tidy home and I would like to get to know the person(s) I am living with and would be down for dinners and the occasional drinks, I am not looking for a party house just somewhere I feel comfortable. :)
Hey! I’m currently renting with family but am keen to move out and meet some new people. I think of myself as very easy going, friendly and very clean when it comes to tidying up behind myself 😊
