Hi! I'm a belgian PhD student doing a research stay at the HMRI for 3 months, starting in August. I'm a travel addict, nature lover, cat person, foodie, adrenalin seeker, constanly looking for new adventures. For this upcoming exciting part in my PhD course, I'm looking for a room in Newcastle, preferably cohousing. Cheers!
Hi, I'm James, I have two jobs with varying hours from week to week (30-60hr). Tabitha and I are looking for a room, we go to the gym 5 days a week, meal prep, play games and love to socialise when we can. We grew up in the Newcastle region for most of our lives, although we moved to QLD for two years and we have been back in Newcastle since before Christmas 2018. We are looking for a decent place to live, preferably with a couple or a group of people that are relaxed and easy going and always happy for a fun time. As we have lived out of home for almost three years now, we care for ourselves and our property meaning we are very tidy and respectable.
Easy going, relaxed, slightly OCD with cleaning. Currently living by myself in Maitland but wish to move further into town and reduce my living expenses whilst still having a nice tidy home I can take pride in. Always up for a chat but respect of people’s personal space. I’m a technician working with material handling equipment. I work a lot of hours out in the hunter valley and fly around the world the moment I have enough annual leave built up. Hobbies would be cooking and language learning. Not very skilled at either but it’s the effort that counts haha.
I’m currently studying a B. Teaching (Mathematics) and work in a Wallsend. I will be going on my final internship throughout Term 3 so I’m just looking for a clean, social and respectful house of people to share with! I’m a very fun and easy going person, typically only home at night or for short periods of time due to my exuberant social life 😅😂
Jess, 26. I am in my last year of Uni studying an IT degree. I have a pet cat, Pocket (9 yrs) that would be tagging along - friendly, and affectionate towards humans, but wouldn't like being with other animals. I can be quiet, and also outgoing at times, am respectful of others space and very tidy/clean. Always willing to help out others and have a chat - yet realise we all need our downtime. I enjoy going out for coffee dates, pub meals, walking, photography and technology. I am wanting to possibly find 2-3 other people that are keen to team up, around the same age group. Keen to move around mid-July. Would prefer to have an en-suite as well. And within the preferred locations listed.
Hello! I'm looking for a new place new place to live, ideally somewhere that will consider with my dog too. I'll be starting a job full time as a researcher and also studying post grad part time both in public health. I like to keep active and healthy and being outdoors, but also enjoy a good lazy day. I'm a very respectful, considerate and tidy housemate. During the week I tend to keep it quiet and like my space, but always up for a chat and generally like to be more social on the weekends when I have the time. I'm looking for a place with other working professionals and/or people who have similar lifestyles (occasional hangouts would be nice) and somewhere that's kept clean and tidy. I'm not after a party house but I do like to let my hair down once every little while. About my dog: he's medium sized, well behaved and loves to just keep you company. He is fully toilet trained, doesn't chew on anything except his own toys and doesn't jump on any furniture. He loves going for walks and rubs on the belly and knows how to sit, beg and can even give you a hi-5. If you have a place or are interested in teaming up, send me a message I'd love to hear from you! :)
Hi, my name's Angela. I am looking for a home to rent for at least 12 months. Anything from 1-3 bedrooms. I work at John Hunter Hospital. I enjoy a combo of active lifstyle outdoors and long, lazy days reading at home. My partner is more of an indoors man, he loves gaming! We are both kind, friendly and responsible. We understand the importance of finding a good tenant and we will absolutely take care of your property. Thanks!
Looking for a place to rent short term for my puppy and I in the newcastle area. Non-smoker, student at UON and working part time, very clean and friendly. I go to the gym, eat healthy and am a cheerleader, I also take my sausage dog to the beach daily for a walk so if you’re into fitness and health we could motive each other. I am super chill and like socialising with a few drinks but also enjoy my alone time to study. Hope to find some like-minded house mates so feel free to send me a message!
Set in leafy Rankin Park, this classic yet stylish three bedroom split-level home with renovated kitchen and bathroom offers ample comfort in a popular location. The main level is where you’ll find the spacious open plan living and dining area, modern kitchen with stone bench tops, dishwasher & coffee machine and a large balcony which leads out from the living room. The living areas have polished timber floorboards throughout and the high ceilings give the home a unique charm. The bedrooms are up a few stairs from the living room and the available room is of a good size with built in wardrobe, enough space to fit a queen sized bed and will come unfurnished (the rest of the house is furnished). There is also a shared study with desk located off the hallway. In addition the house has a covered BBQ area overlooking the backyard and on the lower level off to one side of the double garage there’s a full sized snooker table. Other features the house has include ducted air con / heating, wood burning fire place & NBN broadband. At the moment I share the house with one housemate but he needs to move out at the start of July because he’s changing locations for work so I’m looking to find someone to take his place. The house has two bathrooms so you’ll have your own and you’ll also have your own parking space in the double garage with auto door. I work full time but still like to go out for a few drinks with friends on the weekends. At home i’m the sort of person who’d choose having a bbq with friends over having a full blown party. Ideally I’m looking for a new housemate who’s at least 80% proficient at being an adult and cleaning up after themselves but someone who also likes being social and sees the lighter side of life. With the house having 3 bedrooms and only 2 occupied at present we can be flexible with move in dates. Also with the 3 bedrooms I'm open to having a third housemate move in to make the rent cheaper for everyone so if you're looking at spending way less than $250 a week but happy sharing the main bathroom with one other housemate feel free to send me a message. Unfortunatly the yard isn’t fully fenced so the house isn’t suitable for pets.
The rooms for rent consist of queen bedroom with air conditioning and fan and the 2nd room is your own private lounge room with ceiling fan. Your Bathroom has shower and bath separate, toilet is separate again. Shared large kitchen and eating area. Large outdoor deck area with bush views. Large washing machine. Off street parking. All furnished Close to John Hunter Hospital bus stop out the front. wireless internet. Share of electricity. 10 minute walk to John Hunter Hospital.
Student from the University of Newcastle, and part time Recreational Activities Officer. I’m a clean and quiet person to live with, and a non smoker. I enjoy soccer and movies, and I’ve lived in Newcastle my whole life.
Netflix - yes People not home for extended periods of time - yes Quiet - yes Our last housemate just moved out and we're looking for a third! If you're into a quiet place (both people and location), this is the place for you. Both of us are occasionally, but not often home. But we don't mind a nice chill sesh either. Your room will have a built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan. The house has with a cute little courtyard and most importantly, a gas stove. The home is walking distance to JHH and very close to public transport. The surrounds are also littered with bike paths if you're less lazy than me. You can't go wrong.
Currently working as an Uber Eats driver and trying to get back into Photography at the same time. I very rarely party anymore so you don't have to worry about me coming home drunk all the time at 4 in the morning lol. Currently living at my parents house in Kotara but it's just been sold and they are moving to Nelson Bay so I need to find another place in Newcastle ASAP as I'd have no work up there. In my spare time I love to play video games and have recently started bodyboarding again after a long time out of the water due to a back injury.
Hey guys, Im Mikayla and I'm looking to find a New house/room/housemates that share the same beliefs in household manners as me! Im currently in a house where I own all the furniture (minus the other bedrooms) so I would prefer something to accomodate this so that I don't need to send all my furniture back home. So firstly a little bit about myself. I'm originally from the Mid North Coast and moved down mid last year to start studying Primary Teaching at UON. I study full time but also work casually at cotton on body. My free time is a bit busy as I play Hockey, League Tag and Oz tag! I will also admit I probably spend a bit too much time in my bed some days (Im kind of addicted to sleep) and my sleep schedule is a bit whack. I enjoy fun nights out/ festivals/ Sunday sesh's with my friends but also do not bring a party lifestyle into the house, as I believe it is nice to be respectful of the other people in the house, I also like to have a nice quiet/ chill house to come home to most times. That brings me to my ideal house situation. What I've come to find in my short time of living out of home is its nice to have housemates that can also be friends, this always makes it nice to come home, but I also know there is a time where everyone wants their own space. So I'm up for house dinners, bachelor watching, face masks etc. But also don't get worried if you don't see me for a day. I also believe its nice to live in a clean house, so this means everyone picking up after themselves and contributing to house work. Sometimes I can be a little over clean but I don't expect others to be on this level. In saying that everyones personal rooms can be how they wish obviously and even mind sometimes can become a bit of a mess. Most importantly I need to live with someone who pays their bills on time, I've lived with people I've had to chase up bills from and its not nice feeling like a mum to people my own age! This feels like my whole life story on a page and I'm sure I've still missed something, but from what I've learnt its better to know more than less about someone you're moving in with and I'm hoping to find something thats not only enjoyable but something that could last a while! (moving sucks). If you feel like you could have something suitable, or you think that you might be a possible team-up please feel free to message me for more information or whatever you need. I don't have the early bird function but if you need to contact me on here and you can't you can message me on facebook at Mikayla Sheather. Looking for as soon as possible.
Work full time at Broadmeadow racetrack and study nursing at uon. I’m very clean and considerate. Hardly home, I like to keep busy and enjoy being very active. I’m either at the beach, gym or with my horse.
