Hi all, I'm a 28 year old male PhD student (2 years in), originally from the UK. I'm researching MS at the HMRI, next to the JHH. Easy going, house trained and love fun in the sun, whether that be a surf, run, skate or hike. Looking for a chill but still comfortably social house. Always happy for a chat and a 'bevy', but appreciate we all need our own space from time to time. I'm an outdoors, fitness enthusiast and trying to find somewhere by the beach as I love to go surfing whenever possible. Therefore, the only large items I have are a couple of surfboards and a road bike. I also have a guitar and write music, so if anyone else is musical that would be great. Otherwise happy to play on the beach! :) I also have a car, so happy for the odd road trip, but even more keen for advice on nearby parking. ;) Let me know if you need any other info.
Hi, my name is Matt, I am 46 years old and currently studying Civil Construction Design at Newcastle TAFE until the end of June. I am a quiet and easy going person and enjoy my own space but I also enjoy being social and having a chat. I am looking for a quiet and friendly place to live while I complete my course. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Regards Matt
I’m a relaxed person who appreciates my own space/downtime but doesn't mind company sharing a wine or 2 and bbq's. I'm very tidy and I have a full time job 9-5 Mon-Fri so on weekends I enjoy going to the beach, gym, reading (to be honest it's more podcasts and netflix), coffee and breakfasts out. I currently don't have a dog, but am seeking a place where I can get one :)
Hi, I have just moved from London, originally from NZ but have been away since 2001. Moved here to start a business with my Brother. Love the beach, i'm very chilled and after flatmates that are relaxed, sociable, enjoy a drink and can tell a story.
Heya, I’m not long back from overseas so I’m transition to move to Newcastle. Already working here full time. Conscious, healthy and chilled out soul. Clean, respectful, independent and social house mate. Looking for something short term 1-3 months. I can move in immediately and be a good in between house mate until you find your perfect roomie 😊
howdy doodly neighbourinos!!! just looking for some good people to share a home with while i finish the last two years of my law degree, whilst also balancing a part time job, a love of the beach, reading, cooking for my fave humans and trying to grow some veggies! love a yarn and a cuppa/wine but also need my own space at times to study and recharge, would love to hear from you :)
I'm a 19y/o male starting uni at the end of Feb. I'm an easy going social guy, clean and tidy. I don't go out much, definitely wouldn't be bothering the house with any parties/super drunk mates. I work at Bunnings a fair bit and will continue it around my uni timetable. It's a well paying job and i have a lot saved up so paying expenses won't be an issue. I love soccer, the gym, the beach and going on roadtrips.
We're a couple looking for a share house to move into. I'm Gabrielle, I'm 20 and am studying law and arts full time at Newcastle uni as well as working part time. My boyfriend Michael is a qualified mechanic and is working full time. We have both lived in share houses before and are both clean and tidy, easy going, happy to socialise but also respectful of everyone's personal space.
Hi, I'm Lily! I've been living in Newcastle for a year and I'm hoping to find someplace new in the area. This year I will be studying Early Childhood Education from home. Last year I completed my diploma in Visual Arts. My hobbies include selling thrifted clothing online, making art and I love wholefoods cooking. I'm a very independent but communal living person. I am tidy and friendly and I will respect your space. I would love to find a place to live in Newy, where I can be close to friends and the beach!
Hi, my name is Manuel I am commencing my final year of a Bachelor Of Music and am looking for a nice place to live near the Conservatorium. I have had good relationships with all my previous housemates as I'm easy going and like to keep my things clean and organised. Hope to hear from you soon.
I am clean and tidy...get along well with everyone. I like to socialise and also enjoy time on my own. I work full time for Port Stephens Council. I enjoy the beach, going for walks, yoga, meditation, swimming, the gym and bike riding. I love to cook and eat healthy meals but also enjoy a night out for dinner and socialising. I don't smoke, rarely drink and I like a range of movies (except horror 🙄), listening to audio books (whilst driving to work) and Netflix. I like to be open and considerate of others and communicate well. I appreciate like minded people.

Hi i work full time in the legal field. I am looking for somewhere to stay that flexible between 3-6 months at this stage. I like my own space and privacy especially during the week after stressful work days but also love a glass of wine and a chat, so i am not wanting a party house. I would prefer somewhere with another person who is working, clean, tidy and respectful. I dont want to live with backpackers or where flatmates change on the regular. I love the beach and outdoors but love staying in to watch tv or movie. I dont want to live with a couple and i prefer a non smoker too.
Hi, I’m Malcolm. I’m looking for a place to call home for the next 12+ months. I currently work full-time as a graphic designer in Thornton but live in Cooks Hill so would like to stay in the area if I can. For fun, I like to travel, play games, watch movies, have a laugh and play sport from time to time. I’m looking for a place that has either A/C in or around the bedrooms (I’m originally from Tassie and the heat does me in), an en-suite bathroom would be great, off-street parking would be handy so I can put away my bike/car, but at the very least just some space for a desk so I can set up my computer and screens. I’m not a smoker, not a drinker, not big on pets but contradictory to all of the above am extremely easy to get along with and you’ll soon see I’ve got a good sense of humour. I’m not in a huge rush so let me know if you’re keen to show me your place and we’ll tee it up! Cheers
Aino: I am 22 years old bartender and waitress from Finland, who currently works in Honeysuckle area. I've been living in Newcastle for 6 months now. I am mature and calm girl who loves travelling, sun, animals, coffee, good books and occasional wine. On my free time I like to chill on the beach, hang out with friends and watch movies. Laura: I am 23 years old student with Estonian nationality. I do casual work in sales, but my double degree and studying keeps me busy for most of my time. But if I do find some, you can find me doing any type of sport or on the beach relaxing. I'am also lucky to receive a stipend for studying, which covers all my living costs. We are both mature, have been living alone/together/with housemates for about 4-5 years, we are both very tidy and like the house to be clean as well. We aren't looking for a party house. We respect our housemates privacy and schedules, but do like to socialize sometimes over some food or drinks. We are looking for a place to relax, study, do some work and enjoy a occasional drink.
I’m 19, currently working as a barista full time at the coffee club. I’m an easy going person and can keep to myself but also love to party and throw back a drink or two on the weekends. I like to keep tidy so won’t have a problem in doing my share of house chores. Looking for a place where I’d vibe well with my housemates so if you think of we’d get along hit me up :-)
Hey there! We are New to Newcastle and feel that we are happy go fun people who basically just want to enjoy where we live and what we do; This is why we chose Newy! I (dan) love to play music and will always have a guitar around to noodle on, and Liuba will always be smiling and laughing so is always nice to be around. We've had trouble getting anyone to call us back on here so if you have a place on offer, or a room we could move into (ideally with an ensuite and enough room for some guitars and a lil amp) we would love to hear from you!
