I have recently graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Sydney, and am looking for a place to live in the Newcastle area for 6 months. I am an energetic and fun-loving person who enjoys hiking, climbing (novice), cycling, dancing, and going to the beach. I also like relaxing with a glass of wine or a schooner, and I love seeing live music. I am relaxed and easy to live with, but still pride myself on being clean and tidy. I have my own car and bicycle.
I'm a full-time Radiography student and working part time, so I'm always pretty busy. I love to cook/bake, I'm super clean, and I love the outdoors and the beach. I'm looking for housemates who are fun, relaxed, and tidy :)
My name is Beth I'm 25 and I am cheerful and very easy going. I am currently in my honours year of psychology so I spend most of my time concentrating on my studies. I like to socialise but also spending time on my own. My hobbies include Yoga (at yoga loft) swimming, walking, drawing and vegging out in front of the tv. I am super tidy and not a party animal, my party days are well and truely behind me. I have a very cute 3 year old Maltese who is house trained and very well behaved (you wouldn't even notice she was around).
I'm an easy going, fun loving guy, not much of a party enthusiast but love socializing with friends and flatmates for an occasional drink. I love trying out various cuisines and you can always count on me to grab a bite with you... I believe in staying fit and enjoy my runs! In my spare time, I can watch movies and tv series endlessly :) I'm moving to New Castle for about 6 months for work and am looking out for a team-up or a flat to share... Cheers!
Hi there! I'm Andrew. I'm in my final year of uni, studying to be a lawyer. This year I'll be working two days a week and studying. Looking to move into an apartment close to, or in, the Newcastle CBD, so that I can walk to work and uni. I'm a tidy person with respect for other people's space. I'm looking to meet two other like-minded people (i.e. students, young professionals etc) to team-up and find a place, and hopefully be flatmates I can be friends with! I will need a place to park a car.
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm studying my Masters in Social Work and working in mental health with an NGO. I have two weeks to find a new place and my current real estate (Nextview Property) are happy to rent to me again so If I can find one or two others to live with me, we're good! I'm an amazing housemate and have an indoor rabbit named Margot that spends her days getting pats. She is smart, litter trained and more of a cat-dog. I'm very clean, considerate of all my housemates, responsible, active, enjoy a glass of wine, hanging out and gaming. I am open to living pretty much anywhere from Wallsend to Newcastle.
We are really clean people, friendly, French, honest and hard workers. We love meeting new people and share cultural experiences. We like hiking, doing sports and see movies. We are social drinker and non smokers. I am working with a landscaper and my girlfriend is looking for a job.
G'day :) my name is Gizem and I'm 25 years old. Now, I am living in Germany and writing my master thesis in the building faculty of the German University in Stuttgart. During the exchange program of my university I will be a student of the University of Newcastle for 2 Semesters (15th Feb. until 15. Dec.). I am looking for a furnished accomodation for a maximum budget of $ 175 per week. Apart from that, I am looking for flatmates who are likewise curious about new cultures and are open minded. I chose the Australian Uni because I heart many positive points about this country. I am very looking forward to experience all of this by my own. In Germany, I also live in a shared flat so I am well up in living with other people. I would really looking forward hearing from you as soon as possible. Thanks mate :) Warm greetings from Germany, Gizem
I am a Maldivian studying Development Studies at UON. I have one more year left and I am looking for a great location to spend my last year in Newcastle. I am neat, a fairly good cook, and a lover of the beach, good music and good vibes.
Hi I'm Julie, I work full time in healthcare. The lease in my current sharehouse is ending so I'm looking for a new place. I'm friendly and easy-going with a good sense of humour. I enjoy having a wine and socialising with housemates, but also happy to do my own thing. I'm a non-smoker, tidy and respectful. I love food, music and wine - and travelling! Looking for somewhere to call home for a while, close to the water (or walking areas would be great). And looking to meet new people and enjoy Newcastle. Move in date is flexible. Happy to chat more, so feel free to message me.
Hi, We currently have one room available in a very large 6 bedroom sharehouse in a great central Hunter St location. Easy walk to the harbour, bars, Markettown shopping centre and public transport. All rooms are large in size, fully furnished and have their own bathroom. Rent of $170 per week includes all utility bills + internet. There are 6 other house mates at present with a mix of males and females and in their mid 20's. All housemates work or study full time so it is not a party house. In saying that though everyone in the house is very friendly and outgoing. Looking for similar people who are also tidy and considerate. No pets allowed sorry. Limited offstreet parking exists. A bond of 2 weeks rent is required with rent to be paid 2 weeks in advance (so 4 weeks rent required the day you move in which includes your first two weeks rent). Bond is fully refundable when you move out if room and bathroom left clean and no damage done to the property or furniture. Minimum lease period is 3 months. Happy to answer any other questions you may have. Or if you'd like to take a look through please send me an email or message with a bit about yourself. Please send a text rather than call during work hours. Thanks very much. Clayton
I'm neat, clean, respectful and not just saying that. Work full-time weekdays, enjoy a weekend drink but my party days are limited / behind me. Pretty quiet throughout the week with work, and just like to keep fit, chill, watch sport. Have no problem keeping to myself as I have plenty to do, but don't mind a good chat / drink as well.
*Unique request for Friday & Sat or weekends only* Leaving Newcastle this week to live in Sydney for work Sunday-Friday, I am a well travelled senior manager within the energy and facilities industry with international experience. A curteous and polite man with a newborn son in Newcastle. Looking ideally for a Friday and Saturday night stay in the mentioned areas to get back up to the man for the weekend. This in itself means I'll be little in the way and respectful, and great for a flexible person/couple/family looking for some extra money with minimal seeing to someone. Born in Ireland and raised in the UK, please get in touch.
Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos, and he's really into science (doing open foundation to get into diagnostic radiography) but used to work as a comedian (don't worry though, he's not annoying). I'm working part-time and thinking about finishing a grad dip in psychology. I love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
I'm a pretty chilled guy, tidy and clean. Looking to move out of home, doesn't particularly matter where. I feel like I'm fairly fun, and would be easy to live with. Not fussed on when either, but sooner rather than later.
Hiya, I'm Andrew, I'm 25. I've lived in Newcastle my entire life primarily around New Lambton & Dudley with abit of travelling this year. I'm seeking a place close to the CBD and/or one of the many beaches around town. I currently work 4 days a week in Architecture whilst studying my masters, I love being near the ocean and being as active as possible, surfing/biking/skating/yoga, whatever! I do partake in enjoying a casual beer or red wine as much as the next guy too. I don't smoke also and think dogs are the best thing ever. I've lived previously in a flat with one other person, and consider myself a very relaxed and easygoing person that can respect others space & daily routines. I'm very clean, particularly in the kitchen. Ideally, I'm seeking a place that has good off street parking, storage for a mountain bike and within 25 minutes ride into the CBD. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be your guy :) Andrew
Hey, my name is Emily, I'm 24 and moving to Newcastle to work at the hospital. I'm looking for a relaxed, social share house. I would love a place with a yard to have a little veggie patch. I enjoy having a few beers, playing guitar, scuba diving and yoga.
Currently living in maitland, working full time in Newcastle and plan on making the move into Newy soon. Non smoker, Tidy, easy going. I keep to myself most if the time and respectful of personal space but i'm always down for a chat and to hang out :)
Two friendly young guys working full-time and studying IT at UON. We're looking for a third person who's interested in renting somewhere sort of in the area of Mayfield East. Mayfield, Tighes Hill, etc. Looking to rent something with 3 bedrooms, potentially a 4th for shared office space. Aiming at $175 per person per week roughly. Tidy, organised, friendly dudes with good senses of humour and lots of furniture.
Looking for a cool place to move in to around February. I work random days through the week and on the weekends and I am also studying some maritime qualifications which keeps me pretty busy and I try and get out doors to the beach as often as possible. I'm relaxed, tidy and easy to get along with so I'm looking for similar house mates. Hoping for a place somewhere in town within a short driving/walking distance to the beach so Cooks Hill, Hamilton, Carrington, Maryville, Wickham anywhere kind of in that area would be great. I have a few surfboards, paddle boards, camping stuff etc so be good if the place had a garage or somewhere to keep that sort of gear.
Elisabeth I've been home hunting for sweet units in the cbd or in near of newcastle and I'd love to share it with. I'm new to Newcastle and would love to meet new clean, fit, energetic, sociable (not so much a party goer) stable like minded people, who enjoy getting together to mingle, but don't mind having their own space/doing their own thing. I'm a health professional -so you probably see me come and go. Hehe.I Do need an ensuite and secure lock up. Looking for commited fun roomies.. for further info. Msg me xx
Hi! I'm from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and I will be doing my internship in Newcastle for 6 months, therefore I'm looking for a cosy house with social flatmates. I might need to be a bit serious during weekdays but in the weekend I would love to go to the beach/to bbq/to meeting new people/to party/club/bar/jogging/swimming/sipping wine/cocktails...
i work as a barista so already I have your attention. I'm up at 4:30am most morning so I will need to be with people who don't mind me getting up that early. I tend to kept to myself but don't mind a "family" BBQ and a couple of drinks. Just looking for somewhere that makes it feel like home and not like I'm bothering and inconvenience to anyone. I'm clean and I'm a massive push over so I'll be deso for you. Just like to see people happy.
Originally from Sydney I have been living in Newcastle for the past year and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am a young professional that works full time within the region. I'm fairly quiet in nature and laid back but love to share meals, drinks and generally socialise. In my spare time I enjoy TV, the beach and keeping fit (though my arms currently in a sling!). I am a clean person that respects my own privacy and others equally.
G'day Mate, My names Dan and I am currently studying a sound engineering course at Tighes Hill TAFE. I am From the Hunter Valley region and would like a change of scenery. I have been offered a job as a sound technician in the Newcastle area but until I am based there they will not accept, hence the urgency of residents. My main interests would be socializing with mates, having a few beers, swimming at the beach, lots of fishing and absolutely anything music related. Cheers, Dan
Hey I'm Mitch, I'm a very easy going dude that is looking for a comfortable place to live. I'm clean, tidy and organised by nature but wont be a Nazi about it 24/7 haha. I am very sociable and have a great outgoing relationship with my friends/family but I'm not looking to join a rundown party house at all! Beers and Wines by the beach and maybe some eggs Benedict on the weekend sounds good to me. I also like to train at the Gym 4-5 times a week and go for Jogs with my doggo. She is a very obedient outside pet that is loved by everyone who meets her. She will reside with me so pets need to be considered but I can assure she is not a problem at all. I currently own a property in Beresfield but due to a split with my partner we are now going through the process of selling and I plan to rent for at least 12 months provided the place is comfortable and flatmates are friendly :) Location needs to be close to Newcastle preferably but may consider other options. I work full-time (40+ hours) and study part time Via Correspondence. So with work study and Gym Mon-Fri I will be out of your hair haha but when it comes to the weekend I'm very easy to get along with! :) And I am not lazy in the slightest so Yard/pool maintenance is not problem what so ever. Let me know if I could be considered. Cheers.
Heya :) my name's Ash. I'm pretty laid back and love to make new friends, not a party person. Love music, animals and am considered as a clean freak, haha. I am self-reliant; also enjoy reading and playing piano. Very respectful of privacy and space, as well as people's individuality :) I also have a small bird (rainbow lorikeet) who gets along with dogs and kids alike (and is very clean) so pets must be considered.
Even though I am only 15 I'm very mature & have practically raised myself therefore I'm very independent . I'm a very people person and crowds don't bother me, I love having people around I appreciate their company as I've gotten so use to being alone. I hate violence and if there is ever a misunderstanding I'm always willing to compromise. I currently live in a refuge and need to find somewhere to go as my accommodation only lasts so long.
Hey im 24. Recently single and looking for a new place to live! Really easy going, happy to put in around the house. Work full time so just need a place to crash at night. I have a kitten whos friendly. Hit me up if your intetested.
The apartment is located on the Newcastle City side of Wickham, city outlook from the room and some harbour views from the balcony. Walking distance to almost everywhere in the CBD, I have lived here for over three years now and love the location. Room is available now
Perfect location at a great price! We're a short walk or bike ride away from anything in the CBD including beaches, cafes, bars, transport etc. It's a three story town house that includes a garage used for storage & balcony that catches the afternoon sun. The room is a little oddly shaped but includes a built in & comfortably fits a queen bed. There's a cut out in the wall where I've placed the dresser, but this would be ideal for a desk if that's what you'd prefer. Furniture may be provided if required. We're all very clean & keep the place as tidy as possible. This is a must for the next flat mate. Parking is on street and has never been a problem.
pretty social fella, enjoys getting out and about the newy music scene. work part time and study full time so I'm generally pretty busy. my down time will often involve the gym or beach other wise chilling out listening to records.
Hey! My name is Sam, I'm 18 and super clean. I love surfing and playing sports. I'm looking for a place where i can get a lot of study done, but also have a laugh and an occasional drink with other flatmates.
Hey! I'm a super clean & reliable, health conscious person who enjoys fitness; not into partying although I am a social person when it comes to outdoor activities. I don't drink. I love cooking. I surf & skate & am not home much because I enjoy being outdoors. I study at UON and work part-time. Looking for somewhere close to Bar Beach or Newcastle East beaches (within walking distance). Looking to move anytime in mid to late Feb preferably the week starting the 27th but can move earlier if I find the right place :) Message me if you think your place sounds fitting (preferably in Newcastle East, Cooks Hill, The Hill, Bar beach, Newcastle.)
Hi! I'm a full time art student and work weekends. 6 months+ is preferable but short term is ok until i find something long term This move has sprung on me rather quickly so i will have bond, but only when i get it back from my current place (our lease ends 27th jan) I love to cook (so theres always yummy leftovers because portion control is for suckers) not a big party person (being 30 i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs) but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. (although some sort of happy interaction is pleasant and i'll be new to the area so friendly locals are always a nice find) i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. not a clean freak but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
I'm looking for a reliable, respectful, clean, person to share a modern Townhouse in the Heart Of Cooks Hill with one fun, easy going female. The room available is large with built-in wardrobes and a view of The Anzac Memorial Bridge. Optional double bed available (pictured with mattress). There's also a study (spare room), large bathroom with separate bath/ shower, open plan living, 2nd toilet, spacious courtyard and off street parking. Just 5 minutes walk to Darby Street Restaurant Precinct, Aldi + Marketown Shopping Centre. Only a 10 minute walk to Bar Beach. Rent is $210 week plus bond and half expenses. Available Now! If you'd like to inspect, message me and tell me about you..
The apartment is on the 8th floor overlooking Honeysuckle with water views. Super-close to bars, restaurants and shops. It is a three bedroom apartment however there will only be one other housemate so there is a spare room for guests when they come to stay. You will have your own bathroom (not ensuite). The room is a nice size with built-in wardrobes. The living area, kitchen is open-plan and nice and big and there's a sunny balcony for afternoon beers in the summer. Pretty much all furnishings are provided so you'll only need stuff for your room. Parking is an additional cost of approximately $40 per week. I'm sure there's things I've missed so any questions, just ask.
