The room is nicely sized, suitable for a queen or double bed, with built-in wardrobes. The living area and kitchen is open-plan and spacious, and get's the afternoon sun. The whole apartment is timber floored, with furniture to suit! There's also a balcony accessible by both bedrooms and the living room for afternoon beers in the summer. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, and all brand new utensils and dinnerware for you to use. The apartment is on the 6th floor and is centrally located in Newcastle West - walking distance to Market Town for groceries, Hunter St and King St for pubs, restaurants and clubs and shops. There's also a gorgeous cafe directly across the street for coffee lovers.
I'm Zoe, I'm from Brisbane and I've been working in Newcastle for a few months now. I'm looking for a place to move into anywhere from mid-August onwards. My only real requirement is that it's a central location as I don't drive and I work in Newcastle West. I'm nearly 22, have a boyfriend who lives overseas and I'm super friendly! I'm really work focused at this time in my life so I'm pretty simple, tidy and chill to live with. I do work late nights occasionally but me coming home would probably be the only disturbance you hear from me. Thanks x
Hi there! We are two friends (Feli, female, 24 years, German and Celine, female, 21 years, German) looking for a room in a shared flat. We are studying for one semester (4 month) at the University of Newcastle. We are open minded, easy going, tidy and reliable flatmates. We are looking for something asap :) Cheers, Celine and Feli
Hi, We currently have 3 rooms available in a very large 7 bedroom sharehouse in a great central Hunter St location. Easy walk to the harbour, bars, Markettown shopping centre and public transport. All rooms are large in size, fully furnished and have their own bathroom. Rent of $170 per week includes all utility bills + internet. There are 6 other house mates at present with a mix of males and females and in their mid 20's. All housemates work or study full time so it is not a party house. In saying that though everyone in the house is very friendly and outgoing. Looking for similar people who are also tidy and considerate. No pets allowed sorry. Limited offstreet parking exists. A bond of 2 weeks rent is required with rent to be paid 2 weeks in advance (so 4 weeks rent required the day you move in which includes your first two weeks rent). Bond is fully refundable when you move out if room and bathroom left clean and no damage done to the property or furniture. Minimum lease period is 3 months. Happy to answer any other questions you may have. Or if you'd like to take a look through please send me an email or message with a bit about yourself. Will be available this Saturday 29th between 3-5pm for inspections. Please send a text rather than call during work hours. Thanks very much. Clayton
I'm offering a room for rent in my modern inner city designer pad. The loft-style apartment is light-filled with high ceilings, and offers a lush courtyard as well as a big entertaining balcony. The spiral staircase leads to upstairs, where there are the two bedrooms with built-ins and a huge bathroom. Downstairs offers a spacious open-plan living area, a toilet and laundry and little study nook with a desk. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances, including a dishwasher, and all brand new utensils and dinnerware for you to use. The room for rent CAN be furnished or unfurnished, just let me know what you need! The townhouse is centrally located and is walking distance to Market Town for groceries, Hunter St, King St and Beaumont street for pubs, restaurants and clubs and shops. Or grab a bike or skateboard and the whole of the CBD including the beach will be 5 minutes away. On-street parking is plentiful and nearby. The secure complex also offers an equipped gym and indoor lap pool so you can save dollars and cancel your gym membership ;)
I am a thirty-year-old professional about to relocate from Adelaide to Newcastle for a new job. I would describe myself as being friendly, easy going, neat and tidy. I am considerate of privacy and respectful of others. My health and fitness is important to me; I am a non-smoker and a vegan. I enjoy walking and a bit of yoga. As a musician, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar in my spare time. I love the ocean, so spending some time at the beach is high on my list of things to do. Looking forward to finding a share housing with likeminded, friendly and easy going house mates to enjoy beautiful Newcastle with. Cheers :)

I am Caterine, 26, PhD student at the University of Newcastle. I am from Brazil and I am a very tidy person (I clean when I am bored). I am quiet and easy going and I usually become friends with my housemates. =) My boyfriend, got me a puppy and he is about 6 months now (he is quite big though) but he is not trouble at all. He is actually adorable and everyone just loves him! His name is Ross and he is a Golden Retriever cross White Shepherd. Ross does not chew things inside the house as most of puppies do and I am training him (he is toilet trained and does not bark, unless when playing). He eats veggies if in the garden and likes doing a little digging when bored though. I am looking for a place that would accept me and my cute Ross!

Here's a bit about me: - Studying Surveying degree at newcastle uni full time - I'm into surfing and playing music, relaxing, few drinks here and there - I'm clean, easy going, not a fan of drama
I'm home from a year off travelling and back to my old desk job and I'm so ready to plant myself back in Newcastle life for a good while and have a place to come home to that feels like home. I'm pretty indoorsy, spend a lot of time cooking and other domestic type stuff, watching TV, computer, reading, studying. I'm single, non-smoker, work full time at a reliable job. Not sure what else to say without being a cliche. Get in touch, ask me anything I've left out. :-)
Hi I'm Tim! I'm 29, working full time as a Civil Engineer and looking for a place to call home for the next 6 months or so (potentially more!). I spend most of my time working or out and about, so I'm only really home to eat and sleep. I'm an Early riser, easy to get along with, non smoker, occasional drinker, and have no pets. Am after a place with secure storage for my bikes, and doesn't mind the occasional girlfriend visit. Hit me up if this sounds like it suits you! Tim
Looking for some cool housemates to share or start a lease with. I work full-time as a caseworker. I'm very clean and looking for the same in housemates. I'm also super easy going, hate drama and enjoy socialising. I like getting out and doing things, which usually involves bike rides, going for a swim, playing some wall ball or barefoot bowles. I enjoy a few drinks occasionally but not a party animal. I listen to a lot of music and have a record player. Looking for people who are also clean, easy going and social. I'm looking for a decent sized room as my space is really important to me.
Hello! My name is Anna and I'm looking for somewhere to call home for myself and my 12 year old Golden Retriever, Tyson. I work Full Time in Accounting but I enjoy going out to gigs when not at work. I'm plant based and enjoy cooking (also for others!) but won't judge ya if ya omni, but it would be sick to live with others who share the same beliefs!! I also enjoy drinking beer, and can PROBABLY outdrink ya. Tyson is basically my son. He is a real life angel who is no problem at all - he is a VERY Good Boy. I would loooove to bring him with me, and also allow him to sleep inside if possible.. He snores, but not too loudly. Feel free to claim him as your son as well. I'm pretty tidy, quiet and like my own space but I would like to have friends over for dinners/drinks etc. I also shift between Newcastle and Byron, so I probably won't be home for a few weeks at a time (don't worry, Tyson won't be left by himself, he will be able to go to my mum house while I'm away). I have a 5 star rating on Uber too!!! Send me a message if ya wanna know anything else!
Hi, I am a very busy, full time working interior designer looking for a new place closer to Newcastle. I do have a little Maltese cross dog named Muffin who has to come with me. I am very sociable, clean & easy going and would like to share with people who don't mind having a chat, hanging out and maybe having a drink after a long day. Please contact me if you think you may have a room for me :)
19, really easy going bloke, don't really mind who I live with so long as you're friendly, polite, clean and somewhat social. I have some good stuff coming along with me like my brand new tv, my Xbox and PlayStation and my surround sound system. Have my own bed too. I am a security guard so I work nights mostly but I am quite social when i can be. I myself like a drink and a chat so roommates who are chill and fun would be sweet. I'm an avid dog lover so dogs are a plus
I'm very clean and quiet I work a lot and do my own thing. I'm pretty easy going and always up for a chat
The apartment is close to the CBD, within a 10 minute walk to the Honeysuckle Precinct and the CBD, walking and bike tracks are across the road, surrounded by restaurants, cafe's and pubs. On street parking, air-conditioned room with own control, own exclusive bathroom, security building with swipe card and intercom.
I'm looking to move out into the Newcastle area preferably with other females. I work casually in two bars and also work as a freelance makeup artist on the side. I'm super friendly and laid back and I'm usually working so I'm not home a whole heap.
Very spacious townhouse, within walking distance of Market Town, Darby St and Bar Beach. Great location near shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, night life and public transport. Great quiet town house with good lighting and parking available on the property. *PLEASE NOTE* Room is available from mid september to mid january, then my roommate will be moving out. Should you wish to continue living in the house, that can easily be arranged with our landlord, however you would need to find someone to live in the second bedroom and pay a bond.
My lovely roomie is moving out, so I now have a room available in my townhouse in Cooks Hill. The house is furnished, has air conditioning, gas heating, a new kitchen with a dishwasher and floor to ceiling wine rack (feel free to fill it up 😉), modern bathroom, and a second brand new shower and toilet in the laundry. There is a great little courtyard out front with a BBQ and I am trying (often failing) to grow things – so if you know anything about gardening I'm keen to hear it! It's an awesome location, walking distance from supermarkets, pubs, Darby St, etc. There's plenty of on-street parking (and you can get a permit from council), but there is also sometimes space out the back to park, it's technically a visitor space so it's only occasionally got another car in it. The room is large and unfurnished with a built in wardrobe – but to give you an idea of the size, my previous roomie had in it a queen size bed, dresser, 2 bedside tables and a guitar stand, and there’s still plenty of room for activities. I'm after someone relaxed, friendly, independent, social, clean, etc. ideally late 20s/early 30s. I'd love a housemate who loves Frank (the cat) and can be conscious of closing the external doors because he's an indoor cat. Extra brownie points if you love animals, recycle and choose free range eggs.
LARGE air-conditoined master room with private balcony (4.60 x 3.10 m). Perfect for summer. Just two blocks from the centre of Darby St (near the Oriental Hotel). The room is furnished with a near new pillow-top queen size bed, linen, awesome leather recliner, and it will fit a desk if necessary. It has built-in robes, side tables, and own balcony too! So all you need to bring is yourself. The room is in a two storey townhouse with ducted air-conditioning throughout and everything required for the house has been provided. There’s a garage for lots of storage too (no cars though, but there’s visitor parking). The house is extremely well looked after too, I get a cleaner in regularly so you don’t have to worry about taking turns to do the bathrooms, etc. Rent excludes bills, and a bond is required.
The apartment is on the 8th floor overlooking Honeysuckle with water views. Super-close to bars, restaurants and shops. It is a three bedroom apartment however there will only be one other housemate so there is a spare room for guests when they come to stay. You will have your own bathroom (not ensuite). The room is a nice size with built-in wardrobes. The living area, kitchen is open-plan and nice and big and there's a sunny balcony for afternoon beers in the summer. Pretty much all furnishings are provided so you'll only need stuff for your room.
I'm looking for an honest, trustworthy, clean, reliable professional to share a Modern Townhouse in the Heart Of Cooks Hill. Room available is large with Built-Ins and an optional Double Bed. Place also has a large bathroom with separate bath/ shower, study, open plan living, 2nd toilet, enclosed courtyard and off street parking. Located just 5 minutes walk from Darby Street Restaurants, Aldi + Marketown Shopping Centre + a 10 minute walk to Bar Beach and Honeysuckle Rent is $230 plus Bond and Half Expenses. If you're interested in taking a look, please tell me a bit about you and we can arrange an inspection 😊
I have work as soon as the weather warms up in soldiers point however, my plan is to look for part time work as soon as i relocate back up the bay. I have a great sense of humor and am honest trustworthy clean reliable and i love cooking and walking. I like pottering around the yard with my dog lol and yeah although i am a smoker, im cool with smoking outside. My dog is an outside dog
This is a great spot. The property is less than a 5 minute walk to the Newcastle Post Graduate Business School and Music School. A short walk to the Foreshore, Darby street and beaches. You do not need a car living here as it is close to public transport or a flat bike ride to most areas of interest in Newcastle. There is a BBQ, gas heating, TV, high speed wireless internet, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and bikes to share. The house is strictly non smoking and preferably alcohol free.

We are energetic, passionate and active girls who like to live in a clean, organised and friendly environment. We are both super easy to get along with & usually quite occupied if not studying or catching up with friends. We both also work full time hours and hope to meet some friendly, fun and considerate room mates that we can humbly live with.
