I'm Deb, a 30yo female veterinarian looking for accommodation in Launceston and surrounding suburbs. I am looking for a single room, preferably with my own bathroom/ensuite but happy to share with one other person who is neat and tidy. I am also a bit of 'polar bear' and so having air conditioning is a plus. I like to keep my living spaces tidy (more than happy to pull my weight with chores), pay my bills on time, not party person, am a teetotaler (do not drink alcohol, smoke or engage in illegal substances) and enjoy outdoor activities i.e. bushwalking, rock-climbing, kayaking, as well as quiet time reading, watching documentaries/anime and drinking tea. My working hours will be 8.30-6 M to F with scheduled on call on the weekends and public holidays. I will be considerate and not create disruptions as I move in and out, from and to work. I generally enjoy introverted 'decompression' time at home and keep to myself, but to the extent you are living with a stranger in the house - if you like outdoor activities, always up for a good climb, kayak or walk, or a good chat/shared meals. Hi everyone! I am Cher and I am looking for a flatmate to share a house or flat with. I am presently in Launceston, but willing to move to other areas in Tasmania. I am studying with SUNY-ESF. I have spent nearly 5 years in Hobart and 3 years in the Launceston area, but was stuck overseas because of COVID. I am eager to finally get settled again. I am a quiet person, but I do like to watch movies and hang out. I really enjoy just walking around or going to the gym. I am not into partying, but will occasionally listen to music and dance around like an idiot. I am very into gardening. Love getting my hands dirty. Non-smoker, no pets, and no kids. Just me! I do like space, but cozy cottages are fine too. I don't have a car, so no need for extra parking for me! I love plants, both indoors and out. And I really love to cook. I am not that great at it... yet, but still trying. I come with a bunch of kitchen items (like a giant cast iron stock pot), a bar fridge (brand new), and a lot of pots, pans, trays, and about 400g of yeast for the baking types. As for hobbies, I don't have time for any yet, but maybe soon. I do love hiking and know of a few great places around Tasmania if you are interested. I work as a tutor for math and science. This is mostly online, so you will hear me talking to random people in the mornings and evenings. Aside from that, I am very quiet, well, except for the dancing around like an idiot part. That I will do. I am looking for a place that has drawers or a wardrobe, anything else is a bonus. I am looking for a place to stay for a while, but anything longer than a few months is perfect for me. I will need to be in a place that has decent internet for my job, or close to a bus stop so that I can travel to the library to use theirs. I don't have any social media accounts, so this is why I am not verified through social media. I'm not weird, ok, I am. But, I once had a stalker and my identity was stolen, so I deleted all of my social media accounts. Never went back.

My name is Amber. I’m a 36-year-old Master's student at UTAS and I work as a supervisor in hospitality during the evenings. I’ve been based in Launceston for the past couple of years while studying and working, and I’m now looking for a share house that feels like home. I'm a non-smoker, tidy, polite, and pretty easygoing. I love a chat over a glass of wine but I’m also respectful of personal space and downtime. A peaceful, clean kitchen is my happy place! I also have a green thumb and enjoy spending time in the garden or heading to the beach with my dogs. Speaking of which, I have two very sweet, older dogs: Elsa (11) and Zappa (13). They’re low energy, cuddly couch potatoes who love to nap nearby while I study. They're quiet, gentle and mostly just follow the snacks and sunshine. They sleep indoors who enjoy being around people but are super chilled. One thing to mention: After about a month of moving in, I’m planning to travel for up to five months (super flexible) and I plan on spending time with my Grandparents in the UK. During that time, I’d continue paying rent and I’d be totally open to someone else subletting my room while I’m away. I’d be hoping to leave the dogs in the care of housemates while I’m gone, of course with clear arrangements, all food and expenses covered, and lots of gratitude from me! They’re very easy to care for and would mostly just want to nap near you. If that’s something that could work for the right house, I’d love to chat more! Hi! We are 3 mates from Sweden on a WHV in Australia. We will be in Tasmania from early November to about mid March (we’re flexible as for how long we’ll stay) We’re coming to Launceston because my friend who owns the Eco Harvest strawberry farm, offered us work there, so we will be working full time throughout our stay in Launceston. As for accommodation, we’re looking for one big room that can fit the three of us, or two rooms, or three, or the whole apartment. Our weekly budget is about 750$ together. In Sweden, all 3 of us have been working together as Teamleaders at a state of the art warehouse for the past 3-4 years. Together we managed about 100 employees. We’re very active in our spare time, we climb and hike a lot and we plan on climbing all over Tasmania on our days off.
