Friendly, easy going, and respects privacy. Recently moved to Sydney from Adelaide, hoping that sharing a flat will help me get settled in to a Sydney lifestyle. Recently graduated, working part-time here while looking for full-time work. I'm a fairly quiet and organised yet relaxed person. Not a party-er but do like to have fun. I try my best not to inconvenience my flatmates. I will carry my own weight around the flat in terms of responsibility and am happy to share supplies and ingredients. Flexible with moving date.
We're 2 friends, 1 French guy and 1 German girl looking for a room to share together in a flat share with clean, tidy and nice people. We both like to laugh and share moments with the others Flatmates. Working during the week and like to party/chill and discover new things on weekend!
Hi, I'm Laurent. I'm French and, after having happily lived in Oz for 7 years, Aussie also. I have a Chinese - Cambodian background as well and I'll leave the end result with your imagination (hint: it's not too bad) I have been off Australia for a year traveling and doing volunteering work and I'm finally back to continue my "normal" life. I'm pretty chilled out spending my time catching up with friends, watching movies and TV shows, doing sport (mainly soccer and squash) reading life hacks to make me feel smarter. I'm an IT professional and will be job hunting at the beginning of our common life. It doesn't mean I will have financial issues soon as I still have confortable savings. Like 100% of Flatmates users, I'm tidy. Well, that's partially true because my bedroom is more likely to get messy. I'll definitely keep the common area clean and I expect the same from my fellow flatmates. I'm social and independent. It means I'm happy to have a good chat over a drink or share activities, and I also need to spend time by myself. It's important to keep a good balance between social and personal spaces. Since I settled in Sydney, I always lived in a shared accommodation and I am fully house trained. Bonus: most of my previous housemates left me to move in with their partner and are now married... Regarding visits, I will occasionally have some friends over for drinks or dinner. I'm looking for an accommodation in inner Sydney area, preferably Surry Hills, Redfern, Newtown or surrounding suburbs.
Unbeatable location, great coffee all around, King St up the road with all the best Newtown has to offer. Close to transport - Macdonaldtown station at the end of the street, Erskineville station 10 mins away. Walking distance to Sydney Uni, short bike ride to UTS, GoGet carshare nearby. There's also a lockable car space. We have a backyard chill out area, dishwasher, unlimited wifi throughout, netflix, washing machine + dryer, 2 x toilets, nespresso machine, separate lounge⁄dining⁄kitchen⁄laundry, rice cooker, sodastream, lots of kitchen bench space and a Parisian lamp-post! The house is furnished. The available bedrooms are UNFURNISHED and the larger one has built-ins. The house is 3 bedrooms in total (with 2 rooms becoming available). TWO ROOMS AVAILABLE SOON 1. MEDIUM-SIZED ROOM AVAILABLE 16/4/17 $285 per week (first two lighter pics) Built-in robes (with a full-length mirror), plenty of sunlight, medium-sized (fits a queen size bed). Window with blinds, flyscreen. Approx 3.63m (L) by 2.66m (W) (built-ins reduce Length by 60cm) 2. SMALLER ROOM AVAILABLE 16/4/17 $270 per week (second two darker pics) Window with blinds, flyscreen, fits double bed. Approx 3.14m (L) x 2.55m (W). ABOUT OUR HOME We like to keep things low hassle and friendly, with lots of open communication. It's good if we can hang out from time to time, have a drink and a laugh together, but also respect each other's space. YOU? We're looking for someone aged 21 - 42, who is responsible, considerate, with a steady income and sharehouse experience, who likes to live in a home that's reasonably clean and tidy. BILLS Cleaner, unlimited broadband, electricity, water (all split evenly using splitwise app). If this sounds right for you, please msg me on here with a bit about yourself and what you do (studying, working etc.) (sorry no couples, pets, children).
Kit and I are easy-going, chilled out people who take full advantage of our weekends off work - especially when the Sydney weather is good. We spend most of our time beaching, exploring new suburbs, searching for good meat restaurants, drinking beer and red wine, working out and enjoying the outdoors. I work in HR and Kit works in advertising. Looking for a room for the next six or seven months.
Im 24yo from Scotland, I've been in Sydney since October and work full time at a marketing company in the city. I'm pretty chill to live with but can be a bit of a neat freak, which has its pros as I love cleaning. Not a huge partier during the week but I like going out at the weekend. Currently trying to quit smoking so I have no issues with preferred smoking/non-smoking. A huge plus would be if the house/apartment had an animal because I miss my dog more than my friends & family combined!
I'm a PhD candidate at Macquarie University. I train at the university gym in the morning, and spend the rest of day at the office. So, I'm usually not around most weekdays. I'm big on farmers markets, and hence, looking for a place closer to my favourite market.
I am outgoing and friendly person, like to cook for friends, enjoys having beer time with people and do speak Korean, tibetan and Chinese, had experienced many different Asian cultures that I could share as our topic while conversations ^^
HI! love music, culture, and arts! very sociable and a good listener :). Currently living in the shire. Have been away from parents since high school, I've thought myself to tidy up and clean my own space. Like to explore new places, Social drinker, and could be very generous/helpful to friends in need. I'd take responsibilities of my own property as others would. open to share houses and living space but would like to have my own personal private bedroom.
Love to keep a place alive. Good company to make staying home easier and more fun. This does not need drinks to be done nor smoking...a good laugh and a interesting topic and the house grooves!!! I'm of Greek origin but an Aussie citizen. Been back to Australia a year a and a half now after 22 years of absence. Graphic designer working full time in the inner west.
We are a cool marriage studying English and working part time enjoying this great city. We are quiet, politely and tidy with our rooms, could be pleased to stay with you.
Hi there, I'm Joanna, 29 years old, from England (London) out in Australia on a working holiday visa. I've recently completed my farmwork to gain my second year visa and am planning to settle in Sydney for the next few months. Currently working as an operations assistant but my usual profession is working in Human Resources. I enjoy travelling (obviously!) cooking (I'm half Sri-Lankan and make a mean curry and I love baking!), music, socialising and having fun trying new/different things.
Hello! We are Becky and Jharaiz, I am 22 years young and he (Jharaiz) is 26 years young. We are both from NZ crossing the ditch to enhance our career opportunities as Actors. We will most likely be doing shift work at cafes when we first arrive to make a living but we also have other fall back jobs that have steadily supplied us with more than enough income to support our Acting careers in its down times. We have been together for four years now, so we are a very solid team! 🤙🏻 We'd love to hear from you! Cheers, Becky and Jharaiz :)
I'm a 23 year old journalism/law student on the very last stretch of my degree. I'm starting a grad role that's four days a week in an office near Central- so looking to move somewhere more convenient. I'm tidy and friendly and would love to live in a nice social house. Let me know if I'd fit in with you :)
