Hi there, I'm renting out my bedroom for 3 weeks from 14.05 - 02.06 as I'm leaving on holidays. Our apartment is located in Newtown (King St), 3 min from St Peters Station and 14 min from Newtown Station. The room and apartment is fully furnished. Rent is $220 paid weekly on thursdays and the bond is 2 weeks in advance. Bills (internet, energy and water) are NOT included. I'm looking for someone clean, tidy and responsible.
Hi there, I moved to Sydney a year ago from the UK and still finding my feet! Looking for a relaxed house that also like to be social at the weekends. My hobbies are cooking, sewing, swing dancing, poetry and more! I love a glass of wine, and also smoke (never inside and always pick up butts), I am a very tidy and clean person and couldn't live somewhere that people don't care about the house. Any way! Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks, S
Hi! My name's Mel, I'm a full-time environmental consultant, originally from California (San Francisco) but been in Sydney for 4 years. I'm a vegetarian but it's totally cool if you're not. I work hard / wake up early during the week, but I'm usually out on weekends with my friends or my boyfriend. I love gin, my plants and Netflix originals :)
Hi, I am 26 years old professional(engineer) who works 9-6 during the week and like to socialize on weekends. I love to have a chat and social atmosphere in the house as I think that's the idea of shared flats. I am looking for long term stay. Please let me know if it's okay to meet and inspect the room. Cheers,
Hey everyone! I'm a chilled, easy going, respectful and tidy girl from Stockholm, Sweden (I've heard I'm quite funny too) who's moving to Sydney on Friday (28/4). Been living in Byron Bay the past 6,5 months but would like to try out the city life for a while, so why not in Sydney! :) I like quiet nights as much as I like going out for a couple of beers! I already work part time for the company I worked for back home (online), but will also look for a second part time job in Sydney. Ideally I'm looking for my own private room in a shared flat with some cool people, but would also be fine with a shared room if it feels right! Cheers and hope to see you soon! Tamara
****** I'm looking for a place to stay ****** Hi there, I'm Nimisha from the UK (born and raised). Currently, on a one-year working holiday visa in Australia. I enjoy networking and socializing. I am an easy-going, friendly and active individual. In terms of living, I am a clean and tidy person. What I'm looking for: - Clean and tidy household - Own room, fully furnished with clean bed - All bills included - Rent no more than $180 per week - No bonds, prefer to pay weekly - Preferably girls (possibly 1 guy) - Short distance to trains (approx. 5min) - Some friendly flatmates
I'm Ervin, currently working full-time as a software tester. Easy going, neat and tidy. I have a Fetch box that will give you free access to 6000 Movies, TV Series, HLS channels, Netflix, Stan, Sports channels etc. All it needs is an internet connection and you can watch whatever you like.
I'm a super positive, creative and active person currently working in retail to save up money to do a yoga teaching course. I love meeting new people and having dinners together but I also respect space and prefer a wine or couple of beers to a night out. I'm clean, respectful, easy going and would love to find a creative and relaxed place to live 😊
I’m 27 years old, and I work full time in the city. I appreciate my down time, especially during the week, and would always be available for a cup of tea or a glass of wine for a debrief of the days events. I’ve got family and friends in Wollongong, so I will try to get down there to visit them when I can. Though I would always be up for a chat, I am also very respectful of personal space, and the need to hide away and just Netflix your troubles away for a night. I also value honesty and communication, and it is important to me to live in a place that feels like a home.
Hi my name is Tiffany im 22 and from the states. Im currently working in hospo in mascot. Looking for something long term to spend out the rest of my visa. Im friendly and clean up after myself im aways down for a night in with wine and movie or a night out.
Hallo, My name is Irene and I am from the Netherlands. I am in Australia on a working holiday visa. I will be working west of Sydney CBD for 3 or 4 months and I am looking for a nice place to live. :) I have a car so would like it if there is off or on street parking.
NB ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE WEEK: 6th May - 12th May. (6 days = $180 and May 24 - June 3 (7 days = 180) (9 Days = $190) This room is a private room, it has two small connecting sections. It is literally the first house behind central King St, two mins walk to the station and 1 minute walk to King St shops in Newtown. The owners are one of my housemate's parents and that is why the rent is so cheap! Lovely byron shire school graduates for house mates and an awesome suburb to live in! NB the bed-frame is a little delicate. Nonetheless there is a bid.
I love a laugh and staying healthy, and have experience living in a share house. I work full time in finance, but I'm not like those big bad bankers (I promise). Loving life as a vegan, but don't worry, I won't try push this on any flat mates (although I'll happily cook anyone my signature dish). Preferably looking for a place with several flat mates rather than just one
Hey! I'm 24 years old and I'm moving up to Sydney for a full-time job. I'm originally from Melbourne where I worked as a part-time barista at a cafe (for all you coffee snobs, I'll bring a coffee machine) and studied (astrophysics - for those who like space and stuff). My passions lie in science, tech, memes and I also enjoy cooking, reading (anything) and sport (again anything - mainly basketball). I love to socialise, get out and explore sites and nature, won't turn down the opportunity for a beer/glass of vino (and some) and enjoy a movie/tv series/doco. I'm very easy-going, friendly, interested, clean and happy to help during an existential crisis. I'm hoping to move in between May 8-14. Happy to skype/call to meet potential housemates.
Enjoy getting outdoors, exercising and living life to fullest, love sleeping due to working long hours and travelling overseas for work, Respectful of people and their beliefs, everyone has their own opinion, really easy going, a bit of a clean freak and always clean after myself, its hard to tell people why I'm great to live with online ... lol .. give me buzz and we can meet face to face and i prefer to be judged that way ... 😊 ... have a awesome day 👌👍
I'm Evelyn, 26, generally quite busy juggling full-time work, keeping social and active - whether it's yoga or going for a hike, I'm always up for trying something new. I am health conscious, cook a little (mostly vegie) but also spend some nights a week out at dinners, gigs, or enjoying a glass of wine with family and friends. I'm clean, tidy, easy going and considerate of others space and happy to take responsibility for my share. I'm looking for a new light-filled home with like-minded housemates that are clean and genuine.
Hi, I come from Taiwan and will be a full-time postgraduate at University of Sydney in July 2017. I have experience of sharing a room in Taiwan and Thailand, but I prefer to have a private room with a shared bathroom. I don't smoke, drink nor have pets. I like cooking while I always keep the kitchen clean. I don't do party; instead, I need quiet nights for writing. For exercise, I like jogging, swimming, and kayaking, though quite clumsy.
I'm a 21 year old male currently working part-time in a hotel in the city. Looking for a place that's close to where I work so it's easier and quicker to get to work :)
In desperate need of a bug-free place. One-bedroom apartment/standalone/no roommates. I get that this is *flatmates* and I am concentrating my efforts on real estate sites, but I figured it was worth also listing on here just in case. Highlights: * Move in: ASAP * Area surrounding CBD. Hopefully no more west or south than Newtown, no more north than Crows Nest - 20 minutes or less via train to central * I have my own furniture but honestly don't know how to move it, so furnished, unfurnished, or flexible furnishings is a-okay * Needs complete, real kitchen. No kitchenettes. Also need complete separation between kitchen and bedroom, no open plan * Preference to NOT being on ground level * Again, budget of 500/week I'm Sarah, a recent graduate from a university in New York where I studied microbiology, but I'm from the midwest of America. I studied a semester abroad here last year which further confirmed my desire to leave America for the good ol land of Oz. I'm on the tail end of a work and holiday visa, but already have a student visa lined up and fully approved. I'm looking for a clean place. Please. I've been traumatized by this place. Misled. Hoodwinked. I thought this place was great. It's horrible. There is a terrible cockroach infestation. And then there's a giant crack in the front entrance between the door and actual floorboards. So tons of those big cockroaches creep in and go straight to my room. Oh did I mention that the guy in the room next to me is basically a hoarder? Yeah. I would love a place with hard wood floors instead of carpet, but it's not always a deal breaker. A place walking distance to a train station, but not too close, is also ideal. Or a short bus ride away from central. Basically I just want easy public transit to CBD. Please help me. I'm about to rip my hair out. I'm a clean, quiet girl, who likes to avoid issues. Don't con me into a bug-infested place. :(
My name is Nayla. I'm Brazilian and I'm a student here in Australia. Currently, I'm working as an intern part-time and also working/studying other days. I like to going out and drinking but sometimes I like to have my own space and stay in watching movies, listening music or reading a book depends on my mood. However, I'm really easy-going, friendly and open to other cultures, especially because my goal is to improve my English here in Australia. I enjoy movies, walks, sports, food also I adore art and music so I prefer living in a place that I can listen to my music as well. I love pets so I don't have any problem with. I'm vegetarian so I enjoy to spend some time cooking something different and receive the visit of my friends at home.
