$350/week•27 year old man
Hey!
I’m 27, originally from NZ, flew over a year ago with my fur baby, and looking for either a room or a team-up situation around Rowville or nearby suburbs to be closer to work. Ideally something pretty long term (a home) but flexible with timing for the right fit.
I’m pretty extroverted and easy to get along with, but during the week I tend to keep things structured — gym, work, meal prep, sleep. I work arvo shifts (3–11pm, Monday to Friday), so while I’m not around much during the evenings, I’m also not someone who comes home and starts cooking loud meals at midnight.(only cook before work) Im usually winding down quietly or asleep straight away—but every now and then I do a bit of overtime, just to be upfront.
Outside of work, I’m a lil handy with tools and always happy to try fix things around the house if needed. I’d absolutely love a garage or a covered area where I can tinker with little projects or service the car/bike here and there.
I’ll be bringing my lovely senior dog, Cleo. She’s a sweet thing that would love a little affection, these days mostly inside curled up and snoozing, with the occasional bathroom break and a request for pats. She’s very affectionate, but also responds well when told to head to her bed or give space. Ideally, I’m looking for a pet-friendly home that’s okay with her being inside most of the time, as shes gotten into her senior years ive definitely relaxed on her
If you’ve got a dog of your own, I’d be open to seeing if they get along, especially if your dog is super relaxed or friendly. Just as a heads-up: Cleo’s had a couple of bad experiences with other dogs in the past,(bitten by strays or lose dogs) so she likes to put on a bit of a show now, a little more protective/reactive now (she hasn't done anything but i have also just avoided putting her in a situation where i would have to find out) but She has lived peacefully with other dogs before, though — it just depends on the vibe and gradual intro.
I also come pretty well equipped for thee entire house from my last place — plates, pans, fridges, couchs, TVs, washing machine (no dryer though), even a lawn mower and tools — so I’m happy to contribute to a fully furnished spot or bring things into a new setup. That said, I’m totally open to fresh decor ideas or combining styles too.
Mostly, I’m just after a clean, relaxed space with respectful housemates who are down for the occasional chat or shared drink, but also cool with doing their own thing. Let me know if this sounds like it could work — would love to chat more!
