I have a fridge and washing machine but the rest of the furniture is needed as it will be taken away by the departing housemates - pantry, couches, dining table and chairs, coffee table etc.). You will be required to apply to sign onto the new lease if your application is successful - the bond is $670 per person. NOTE - the property is for sale - the current lease is due to expire at the end of July, but the owner has agreed to extend it for 6 months (up until the end of February). It is quite possible the new owners will wish to renew the lease even further but we should know in plenty of time once the sale is finalised.

Brand new townhouse 5 minutes away from Norman Park train station. Unfortunately I am moving interstate for work and have to move out of our adorable house. House is furnished but you are more than welcome to bring your own furniture for living room or outside. The room is good sized full full double mirror wardrobe. Currently fits bed, desk, bedside tables. Door to the bathroom straight from the bedroom. The house has two full bathrooms and an additional toilet so you will be sharing a bathroom but everyone can go to the toilet. The house is in a new complex but I haven’t heard any noise from neighbors (except for origin night) All I ever see are the neighbors adorable dogs. Bills are excluded but internet is $20 for fast and unlimited internet, the others are about $20 a quarter when divided amongst us. No weird house rules. You just must be kind and respectful. I'm a 21 year old QUT student looking for a new home. Moving in date very flexible. Minimum of 4 months stay and am keen for longer as I have another year and a half of uni left. I play video games, watch netflix and travel a fair bit. I love to cook as a form of procrastination, so if you like cookies / brownies you'll like me! Other than studying full time, I work as a school tutor and bartender, and have a steady flow of income. Looking at moving out of home. I will be bringing a large lovable doggo with me, who is playful and loves people. I take full responsibility for her and her business so would just need someone who likes animals and is down to give a few pats every now and then. I am currently a full-time uni student but do work part-time. I know how to pull my weight with cleaning but also require the same respect for shared workloads when it comes to the housework. Ill keep to myself but i'm always down for a drink and a laugh.

Work: I'm currently working casually as a disability support worker while I work on publishing my thesis as a journal article. I am also working as a research assistant on other criminology projects. I am currently going back and forth between whether I will pursue my PhD next year or to be an adult and get a full-time job. This is a huge 2 story house with heaps of space offering two living areas, two outdoor areas and close to transport, restaurants and movies. We live in a very leafy area with wide roads and off the main road so it's pretty quiet at night. The room is small but can easily accommodate a double bed and desk. It has built-ins and ceiling fan. There is heaps of storage area throughout the house. The price is fantastic for the location and as we are all busy, you will get to have plenty of space. We have unlimited high-speed NBN, a dishwasher, two fridges and pretty much everything you need to cook.
